Abstract

General Background: Customer experience is a crucial factor in the hospitality industry as it influences customer loyalty and repurchase decisions. Specific Background: In Padang, four-star hotels, including Rocky Plaza Hotel, face fluctuating occupancy rates that have not consistently met targets, despite strategic locations. Knowledge Gap: While prior studies confirm the link between customer experience and repurchase intention in various regions, limited research focuses on four-star hotels in West Sumatra, particularly regarding the integration of sensory, emotional, and social dimensions of customer experience. Aims: This study aims to examine the influence of customer experience on repurchase intention among guests at Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang. Results: Using purposive sampling with 98 respondents, data analyzed through simple linear regression revealed that customer experience was categorized as very good (80.61%) and repurchase intention as very good (83.67%). The regression results showed a significant influence, with customer experience explaining 53.6% of the variance in repurchase intention. Novelty: This study uniquely combines three indicators of customer experience (sensoric, emotional, and social) with four indicators of repurchase intention (transactional, referential, explorative, and preferential), while integrating occupancy data for contextual depth. Implications: Findings highlight that enhancing personalized services, emotional connections, and social interactions can strengthen loyalty, offering practical insights for hotel management and contributing to service marketing and CRM literature in the local context. Highlights: Customer experience significantly drives repurchase intention (53.6%). Emotional, sensory, and social aspects shape guest loyalty. Novel framework integrates hotel occupancy data with survey analysis. Keywords: Customer Experience, Repurchase Intention, Hospitality, Hotel Loyalty, Service Marketing

Abstract

In the reflexology course, there are certain stages of treatment, so that students do not understand reflexology treatment if the explanation is only through writing, pictures and practice times, resulting in a lack of understanding of students about the stages of reflexology treatment as a whole. The learning media designed is using video tutorial-based learning media. Video tutorial is one of the media that uses a presentation display in the form of a video that shows the steps of work. The development of learning media based on video tutorials is carried out with 4-D development, namely the development of a model consisting of four stages, including: define, design, development and dissemination. The purpose of developing this learning media is to produce a Reflexology Treatment video tutorial that has valid, practical and effective criteria. From the results of the recapitulation of student learning outcomes with an average gain score of 0.809, that is in the high category. So seen from the cognitive learning outcomes of students who take courses using video tutorials, it shows that the video tutorial-based learning media developed by researchers is effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Background: COVID-19 was declared a global pandemic on March 11, 2020. Vaccination is one of the efforts to prevent and treat COVID-19. One thing that needs to be considered in the COVID-19 vaccination is the emergence of Adverse Event Following Immunization (AEFI). The reactions after vaccination can be local, systemic, or other. Objective: This study aimed to depict the AEFI of the COVID-19 vaccine on educational staff, Faculty of Medicine, ULMMethods: This study was a retrospective descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach using primary data in the form of a questionnaire given directly to the respondents. This research was conducted in October-November 2022 at the Faculty of Medicine, ULM.Results: The results showed that 84.4% of the respondents experienced AEFI in the first vaccination dose.  The AEFIs were most experienced by groups of 41-50 years (36.84%), females (65.79%), S1 (55.26%), and the Sinovac vaccine type (84.21%). Besides, for the second dose, 77.8% respondents experienced AEFI. Most AEFIs were experienced by the group of 20-30, 31-40, and 41-50 years (31.43%), female (71.43%), S1 (57.14%), and the Sinovac vaccine type (80%). The most common symptom was pain at the injection area (48.89%). The onset was most often on the first day (48.89%), and it took 1-2 days, with 35.5% as the response to the first dose and 26.6% for the second dose. Conclusion: Most of the AEFIs in the first vaccination dose were experienced by the 41-50-year-old group. Meanwhile, the second vaccination dose was administered to groups of 20-30, 31-40, and 41-50. The AEFI occurred most often in females, S1, and the Sinovac vaccine type. Abstract

This systematic literature review addresses the gap in understanding how self-efficacy, entrepreneurial motivation, and field experience influence students' entrepreneurship interest through entrepreneurial attitudes. Despite growing attention to student entrepreneurship, limited comprehensive analysis exists on these key predictors and their integration in educational contexts. Following PRISMA protocol, we systematically searched Scopus database for articles published between 2015-2025. Using predetermined keywords combining self-efficacy, entrepreneurial motivation, field experience, and entrepreneurial intention among students, we identified 482 articles. After rigorous screening applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, 74 articles were selected for comprehensive analysis (15.4% inclusion rate). Data extraction covered bibliographic information, study characteristics, theoretical frameworks, variables, and key findings. Analysis revealed significant temporal growth from 2 articles (2015) to 16 articles (2024), with average 27.92 citations per article and 18.9% high-impact publications (>50 citations). Variable distribution showed entrepreneurial intention dominance (89.2%), followed by entrepreneurial attitude (28.4%) and self-efficacy (23.0%), while entrepreneurial motivation and field experience were critically underexplored (1.4% each). Geographic analysis indicated global context dominance (82.4%) with limited Indonesian research (2.7%). Theoretical framework analysis revealed 91.9% articles lacked explicit theoretical foundation, with Theory of Planned Behavior used in only 5.4% studies. Self-efficacy emerges as the primary psychological predictor supporting Social Cognitive Theory, while entrepreneurial attitude functions as crucial mediator in Theory of Planned Behavior. Critical gaps include absence of integrative models combining all three variables, lack of longitudinal studies (0%), and limited contextual research in Indonesia. These findings provide essential guidance for developing comprehensive entrepreneurship curricula emphasizing self-efficacy development, practical experience integration, and motivation enhancement systems for fostering student entrepreneurship interest.

Abstract

This research presents the development and implementation of an innovative e-module that integrates flipped book technology with employability skills learning for body spa material in a Vocational High School. Using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4, this study examines the relationships between Integrated E-Modules, Learning Motivation, Self-Efficacy, Body SPA Skills, and Employability Skills. Data were collected from 64 vocational high school students specialising in the Body Spa subject (32 in the experimental group and 32 in the control group) using validated instruments. Results show that Integrated E-Modules significantly enhance students’ learning motivation and Self-Efficacy, with the experimental group demonstrating a 21.6% increase in skills compared to the control group (7.7%). Self-efficacy proved to be a key mediator in the relationship between Integrated E-Modules and Body Spa  Skills, while Learning Motivation did not show a significant mediating role. This research contributes to educational technology literature by identifying the psychological mechanisms underlying the effectiveness of learning technology in supporting quality education in practical vocational fields.
