Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskrpsikan bentuk-bentuk kesalahan penggunaan ejaan yang terdapat dalam penulisan berita daring karya tulis hasil kegiatan jurnalistik mahasiswa PBSI, Universitas Jambi, angkatan tahun 2020 yang diterbitkan di situs web Genta FKIP, portal berita dan informasi seputar kehidupan kampus Universitas Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Tenik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik simak, membaca, dan mencatat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni teknik analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 48 kesalahan penggunaan ejaan dalam penulisan berita daring karya mahasiswa PBSI Universitas Jambi, angkatan tahun 2020 yang mengambil program pengkhususan jurnalistik. Kesalahan penggunaan ejaan tersebut terdiri atas kesalahan pemakaian huruf, penulisan kata, penggunaan tanda baca

Abstract

Social assistance is assistance funds provided by local governments. In the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 32 of 2011, it is explained that social assistance is the provision of assistance in the form of money/goods from local governments to individuals, families, groups, and communities which is not continuous and selective in nature. One of the villages in North Lampung still often experiences problems, including high poverty rates and low education levels. The Naive Bayes algorithm method was chosen to classify aid recipients based on employment, age, and income. The spreadsheet calculations show that the Family Hope Program Assistance (PKH) class is 135 people and the Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) class is 39 people with a total of 176 people in the social assistance recipient data. From the results of Rapid Miner calculations, the accuracy value for the PKH and BLT classes is 100.00%.

Abstract

Through the Opinion Expressions Method, this study seeks to improve students' speaking skill in the context of Islamic higher education. It was separated into two cycles and planned as a cooperative classroom action research project. Data were gathered throughout six speaking lesson meetings during the second semester's term from class observations, field notes, questionnaires, and speaking tests. 24 students participated in the study. Based on the specified success criteria, the researchers determined how well the students were developing their speaking skill. According to the results, 11 students (48%) failed the first cycle while 13 students (54%) successfully completed it. The researchers carried on to the following cycle because the students’ speaking skill had not yet met the standards for success. Some changes were made to address the shortcomings in the First cycle, including: requiring more direction in structuring sentences by posing and responding to questions based on the callings in the photos provided in groups; encouraging students to be active in group work; emphasizing the importance of having fair distribution of work among the participants; and explaining that the direction-giving process should be improved. In the second cycle, 19 students (79%) successfully gained it, while just 5 students (21%) failed. Finally, a fascinating implication of this research was that the Opinion Expressions Method may be used to improve students' speaking skill.

Abstract

The development of a website-based questionnaire can retrieve, store and analyze statistical information on the results of self-evaluation of study program. The development of a website-based questionnaire begins with developing an evaluation instrument and developing a template on the website that will be used as a medium to absorb information from respondents. Based on these problems, research questions were formulated: How to develop a website-based survey instrument in IAIN Pontianak's PPG study program?; How to validate a website-based survey instrument in IAIN Pontianak's PPG study program; How are educators' perceptions of study program services in IAIN Pontianak's PPG study program; How are students' perceptions of learning services in IAIN Pontianak's PPG study program? This study used the research and development method. The selection of the method was based on the need to develop a survey instrument using the LimeSurvey application. The respondents consisted of lecturers teaching courses in the study program and students of PPG study program. The results showed that, the components of the LimeSurvey application include the log in page, the survey list page, the survey component editing page, the respondent form page and the survey results statistics page. The developed service instrument received a score of 0.78 ≥ 0.75 with a reliability of 0.922 ≥ 0.05 and the learning service instrument received a score of 0.84 ≥ 0.75 with a reliability of 0.962 ≥ 0.05. Both instruments are declared valid and reliable so that they are suitable for use. The lecturers' perception of the vision and mission of the study program gave an average score of 3.72 on a scale of 4.00 and the study program service management gave a score of 3.62 on a scale of 4.00 so that the vision and mission are relevant and the study program service management is excellent. In the small-scale trial, the score was 3.72 on a scale of 4.00 and in the large-scale trial, the score was 3.56 on a scale of 4.00 so that the learning services in the IAIN Pontianak PPG Study Program were acceptable.

Abstract

Desa Borisallo merupakan wilayah yang sebagian penduduknya berprofesi sebagai pembudidaya lele. Masalah utama yang dihadapi oleh kelompok pembudidaya perikanan di desa ini adalah pertumbuhan lambat, daya tahan tubuh rendah dan kolam berbau. Oleh karena itu perlu pendampingan agar produktivitas lele dapat optimal. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pelatihan tentang probiotik dalam meningkatkan produksi budidaya ikan lele. Kegiatan PkM dilakukan dalam bentuk pendampingan kepada mitra yaitu Pondok Pesantren Wihdatul Ulum. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan yaitu pemberian materi tentang probiotik serta pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan probiotik untuk ikan lele. Bakteri probiotik yang digunakan dalam pelatihan yaitu Bacillus subtilis. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan yaitu partisipatif. Metode ini menekankan keterlibatan anggota kelompok secara langsung. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan serta motivasi mitra dalam menjalankan usaha budidaya ikan lele sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan kemandirian pangan anggota kelompok.

Abstract

The ability to write response texts is a crucial aspect of Indonesian language learning at the junior high school level. Minimum Competency Assessment (MCA) is an important instrument to measure this skill. This study aims to evaluate the response text writing ability of grade VIII students of SMPN 3 Merangin using the AKM and identify effective learning strategies. With a qualitative descriptive approach and a case study of 30 students, data were collected through the AKM test and analyzed qualitatively. The results showed significant variations in students' writing literacy skills. A total of 15% of students were in the excellent category, demonstrating the ability to understand, analyze, and compose structured, logical, and critical responses. Meanwhile, 45% of students were in the good category, able to understand and analyze the text well, and compose adequate responses. Furthermore, 35% of students were in the fair category, showing a general understanding of the text but may struggle with in-depth analysis or structured responses. Finally, 5% of students were in the poor category, with writing literacy skills that need to be significantly improved, especially in comprehending, analyzing, and composing clear and coherent responses. The findings serve as a reference for designing more effective learning strategies, especially in literacy development and response text writing. This study provides a comprehensive picture of the ability to write response texts of grade VIII students at SMPN 3 Merangin. The findings can serve as a reference in designing more effective learning strategies, especially in developing literacy skills and writing response texts. AKM is proven to be effective as an assessment tool for writing response texts at the junior high school level and schools are expected to utilize the results of this study to design lessons that focus on strengthening writing literacy.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memanfaatkan teknologi sebagai penunjang KTI mahasiswa dan dosen pendidikan matematika di STKIP Melawi wilayah nanga pinoh. Karya tulis ilmiah yang ditunjang dengan pemanfaatan teknologi adalah laporan berupa yang dipublikasikan ataupun dipaparkan dari hasil pengkajian ataupun penelitian yang telah dilakukan, yang dalam penulisannya memperhatikan kaidah atau etika keilmuan yang berlaku dimasyarakat ke ilmuan yang berbasis pemanfaatan teknologi. Bentuk PKM ini adalah Workshop atau pelatihan tentang pemanfaatan teknologi untuk menunjang KTI Mahasiswa dan Dosen di STKIP Melawi Wilayah Nanga Pinoh. Targetnya akan diikuti oleh mahasiswa dan dosen pendidikan matematika STKIP Melawi. Metode pemanfaatan tekologi untuk menunjang KTI ini meliputi: 1) menyesuaikan dengan aturan penulisan yang berlaku, 2) ada bagian pembuka, pendahuluan, pembahasan, metodologi penelitian, hasil penelitian, penutup, dan bagian penunjang. Subjek penelitiannya adalah mahasiswa dan dosen program studi pendidikan matematika STKIP Melawi. Kegiatannya berupa workshop/pelatihan. Produknya berupa Karya Tulis Ilmiah ditunjang dari pemanfaatan teknologi. Rencana Kegiatan PKM ini adalah: 1) persiapan yakni penetapan tempat dan memperoleh ijin pelaksanaan, dan KTI yang ditunjang dari teknologi; 2) pelaksanaan yakni melaksanakan workshop, analisis hasil tes, dan pendampingan penyusunan KTI memanfaatkan teknologi, pelaksanaan workshop di kelas; 3) akhir yakni penyusunan KTI memanfaatkan teknologi. Luarannya adalah KTI. Hasil PKM ini adalah terlaksananya kegiatan Workshop KTI memanfaatkan Teknologi sesuai dengan langkah-langkah yang telah ditetapkan dan terjalinnya kuliah kunjungan dengan STKIP Melawi.

Abstract

Pemanasan global terjadi akibat naiknya suhu permukaan bumi oleh adanya aktivitas antropogenik yang akan meningkatkan konsenterasi pada Gas Rumah Kaca (GRK). Salah satu GRK yang memiliki kontribusi tinggi dalam pemanasan global adalah karbon dioksida (CO2). Pada ekosistem mangrove penyimpanan karbon dapat terjadi 4 kali lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hutan terestrial, terutama pada bagian bawah permukaan mangrove. Penyerapan karbon pada tanah mangrove diperkirakan dapat berpotensi besar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan kurang lebih 6 bulan efektif, yakni dimulai dari bulan Oktober 2022 hingga Maret 2023 dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah stok karbon tanah pada ekosistem mangrove di desa Muara Badak Ulu dan Salo Palai Kutai Kartanegara Kalimantan Timur. Kerapatan lindak (soil bulk density) dan kandungan karbon organik menjadi parameter utama untuk mengetahui nilai stok karbon tanah. Pengambilan sampel tanah mengacu pada rujukan profil tanah mangrove Indo-Pasifik dengan menggunakan metode transek survey dan plot berbentuk lingkaran. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan nilai stok karbon tanah yang berada di interval kedalaman 50-100 cm memiliki stok karbon tanah yang tinggi. Stok karbon tanah pada ekosistem mangrove Kelurahan Muara Badak adalah rendah dengan total kisaran masing-masing stok karbon tanah sebesar 246,39 ton/ha di Muara Badak Ulu dan 267,94 ton/ha di Salo Palai.

Abstract

Infomation climate data of a place plays an important role in the development of agriculture in the region. This can be used to find out about the relationship between plants and climate, estimates of planting time, harvest time, drought (water deficit), flooding (water surplus) can be made, and determining the types of plants used. In accordance. This study aims to determine the level of groundwater availability based on land water balance analysis in the Wolasi sub-watershed and to find out how to plan planting patterns of upland rice and corn according to groundwater availability in the Wolasi sub-watershed. This study uses monthly rainfall data for 10 years (2012-2021) and other climate data (air temperature) for 10 years (2012-20121). Calculation of land water balance using the Throntwaite-Mather method. The result of land water balance calculation under conditions of monthly average rainfall distribution of water availability in the Wolasi sub-watershed are classified as very adequate where a surplus occurs from January to July and December. While the water deficit occurs from August to October. At a 75% chance of rainfall, the distribution of water availability is classified as very adequate,where a surplus occurs from January to July and November to December and a water deficit occurs from July to October. In the Wolasi sub-watershed, the montly average rainfall for upland rice can be planted in January and the final harvest in April, while for corn, the initial planting can be done in May and the final harvest in July, upland rice and corn can be planted twice in a row. a year and can also be planted in intercropping. Abstract

The assessment of critical thinking in the teaching of Bahasa Indonesia is an essential part of teaching syntax because most Bahasa Indonesia teachers of high schools in Jambi still use objective test assessments or low-order thinking skills (LOTS). In fact, there are still many Bahasa Indonesia teachers of high schools in Jambi who have not implemented HOTS-based assessment, so the teaching process and learning outcomes of writing HOTS-based scientific texts are still low. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to study the critical thinking assessments in writing Indonesian scientific texts in high school to find authentic and contextual assessment designs to achieve learning objectives. The research method used is a mixed method of the concurrent embedded design. The qualitative data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, while the quantitative data were collected by using an essay test. The results of the study indicate that Indonesian language teachers have designed critical thinking assessments in writing scientific texts by conducting basic competency (BC) analysis, analyzing competency achievement indicators (CAI) by considering action verbs (AV), making stimuli, making question grids, constructing question criteria, and scoring by considering critical thinking aspects, including (1) focus, (2) supporting reasons, (3) organization, (4) conventions, and (5) integration. Student learning outcomes in writing scientific texts show good critical thinking competence in accordance with learning objectives.
