Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah melihat penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis teknologi informasi yang digunakan oleh guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti  adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Data penelitian yang digunakan hasil dari kuisioner dan wawancara guru di provinsi Jambi.  Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi data dengan teori Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berbasis teknologi informasi yang sesuai dengan zaman, guru di provinsi Jambi perlu melakukan evaluasi dalam bentuk analisis kebutuhan penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis teknologi informasi dengan memperhatikan : 1) bahan ajar berbasis teknologi informasi yang efisien, 2) kegiatan pembelajaran dengan komponen yang saling melengkapi. 3) bahan ajar berupa audio, audiovisual, visual dan interaktif 4) analisis kebutuhan menjadi proses pemecahan masalah penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis teknologi informasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kesantunan yang digunakan oleh guru sebagai integrasi pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian analisis isi. Untuk mendapatkan data, peneliti menggunakan teknik simak bebas libat cakap, teknik catat, dan teknik rekam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tuturan guru diidentifikasikan sebagai tuturan yang santun, pematuhan terjadi pada maksim kearifan, maksim kedermawanan, maksim pujian, maksim kerendahan hati, maksim kesepakatan, dan maksim simpati. Dalam mewujudkan tuturan yang santun, guru mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter melalui tuturannya. Integrasi tuturan santun dalam pendidikan karakter berbentuk sikap bijaksana, memberikan contoh rasa perhatian, mengajarkan siswa untuk saling membantu antarsesama, jujur dan mengakui kesalahan, serta guru memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk berkreasi. Diharapkan siswa dapat mengintegrasikan kembali karakter baik ini dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada materi menulis teks deskripsi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas VII D SMP Negeri 22 Kota Jambi pada bulan September tahun 2022. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dengan pengamatan. Jenis data penelitian adalah data kualitatif berdasarkan penerapan model berbasis proyek pada materi menulis teks deskripsi. Sumber data diambil dari guru bahasa Indonesia dan siswa kelas VII D. Teknik pengumpulan diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh  bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan menggunakan enam fase didalamnya mengikuti sintak dari Zainal dan Ali (2016) yaitu mengamati fenomena, menentukan pertanyaan mendasar, mendesain perencanaan proyek, menyusun jadwal proyek, memonitor siswa dan kemajuan proyek dan menguji hasil dan mengevaluasi pengalaman. Dari enam sintak semua berjalan dengan baik, hasil tes tulisan siswa didapatkan hasil yang sangat baik, baik dan cukup baik dari enam kelompok yang membuat hasil tulisan kelompok melalui data yang diobservasi di lapangan mengenai keindahan sekolahnya. Kata kunci: penerapan, model pembelajaran berbasis proyek, menulis teks deskripsi

Abstract

Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan mengenai pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi dengan Project Based Learning (PjBL) di SMA. Peneliti menerapkan metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan studi kasus. Data yang digunakan oleh peneliti merupakan hasil dari wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi.  Penelitian ini menggunakan kelas XI MIPA 2 SMAN 6 Batanghari dengan jumlah 31 siswa sebagai subjek dari penelitian. Validitas data peneliti gunakan adalah teori Miles dan Huberman. Hasil dari penelitian menjelaskan bahwa project based learning dapat memecahkan permasalahan kemampuan menulis siswa pada teks eksplanasi. Hal ini terlihat berdasarkan  hasil  dari proyek siswa berupa tulisan telah mencapai target yaitu melewati KKM. Guru bahasa indonesia mempersiapkan  perencanaan pembelajaran sesuai dengan pelaksanaan  pembelajaran serta evaluasi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan model project based learning.

Abstract

The STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) approach with a project-based learning model is one of the learning strategies that contribute to the development of 21st century skills. But how does this strategy apply to learning mathematics in elementary schools? In addition, can this strategy affect the interest in learning mathematics and numeracy skills of elementary school students? This study aims to answer these questions as well as develop and evaluate its application in mathematics learning in elementary schools. The research method used is Design-Based Research (DBR) which is conducted through active collaboration between researchers and classroom teachers. Data collection used questionnaires, tests, observations and interviews. Based on statistical analysis of learning interest data and numeracy skills, a significance value of 0.00 <0.05 was obtained so it can be concluded that learning mathematics using a project-based STEAM approach has a positive and significant effect on mathematics learning interest and numeracy literacy skills of elementary school students. Then its implementation based on observations and interviews can be effective and improve students' abilities. However, its application also has shortcomings so that it must be properly prepared.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the form of the "bekarang" tradition in Jambi Kecil Village, and to describe the local wisdom values contained in the "Bekarang" tradition in Jambi Kecil Village. This research is a qualitative research that aims to find out the form of the "Bekarang" tradition in Jambi Kecil Village and describes the values of local wisdom contained in the Bekarang tradition. Research data collection techniques, namely observation techniques, interview techniques and documentation techniques. Then the data obtained were analyzed using content analysis and tested through method triangulation. The results of this study are the "Bekarang" Tradition is a tradition of catching fish. The implementation of this activity includes several stages, namely notification to local residents, time planning, preparation and implementation. The most prominent characteristic in the implementation of this tradition is the attitude of togetherness between communities in the preparation for the implementation of this recent tradition. The "Bekarang" tradition also embodies the characteristics of gotong royong, that is, togetherness does work voluntarily and creates a sense of kinship and brotherhood among people. The values of local wisdom in the "Bekarang" tradition include values, among these values are religious values, mutual cooperation values, aesthetic values, and social values. Keywords: Bekarang Tradition, Local wisdom values, Jambi Kecil.

Abstract

Mathematics lessons are considered abstract lessons far from everyday life. Therefore, the task of mathematics teachers is to present mathematical concepts in students' lives to mathematics learning. Ethnomathematics is an approach that links mathematics and culture. The method used is to explore the concept of ethnomathematics, one of which is in the craft of woven pandan mats as a student learning resource. The aim of this research is to describe the mathematical concepts contained in woven pandan mats in the Padang Tikar community and to use them as a mathematics learning resource in the form of LKPD. The form of research used in this research is exploratory research with an ethnographic approach. The subjects in this research were pandan mat craftsmen. The instruments used were observation guidelines and interview sheets. The data analysis technique used in this research is the Miles and Huberman model of data analysis. The results of the research show that there are several activities of woven pandan mat craftsmen, namely: determining which pandan is suitable for use, determining the length of the pandan, cleaning and determining the width of the ilik, boiling the ilik, soaking the ilik, drying the ilik, dyeing the ilik, making woven motifs, and determining the length and width pandan mat. The mathematical concepts contained are: sets, logic, comparison, multiples, fold symmetry, geometry, multiplication of integers, and measurement. From the mathematical concepts obtained, it will be used as a LKPD, namely geometry where the material taken is squares and rectangles.

Abstract

The development of a website-based questionnaire can retrieve, store and analyze statistical information on the results of self-evaluation of study program. The development of a website-based questionnaire begins with developing an evaluation instrument and developing a template on the website that will be used as a medium to absorb information from respondents. Based on these problems, research questions were formulated: How to develop a website-based survey instrument in IAIN Pontianak's PPG study program?; How to validate a website-based survey instrument in IAIN Pontianak's PPG study program; How are educators' perceptions of study program services in IAIN Pontianak's PPG study program; How are students' perceptions of learning services in IAIN Pontianak's PPG study program? This study used the research and development method. The selection of the method was based on the need to develop a survey instrument using the LimeSurvey application. The respondents consisted of lecturers teaching courses in the study program and students of PPG study program. The results showed that, the components of the LimeSurvey application include the log in page, the survey list page, the survey component editing page, the respondent form page and the survey results statistics page. The developed service instrument received a score of 0.78 ≥ 0.75 with a reliability of 0.922 ≥ 0.05 and the learning service instrument received a score of 0.84 ≥ 0.75 with a reliability of 0.962 ≥ 0.05. Both instruments are declared valid and reliable so that they are suitable for use. The lecturers' perception of the vision and mission of the study program gave an average score of 3.72 on a scale of 4.00 and the study program service management gave a score of 3.62 on a scale of 4.00 so that the vision and mission are relevant and the study program service management is excellent. In the small-scale trial, the score was 3.72 on a scale of 4.00 and in the large-scale trial, the score was 3.56 on a scale of 4.00 so that the learning services in the IAIN Pontianak PPG Study Program were acceptable.

Abstract

One type of self-potential creation and changes in students' mentality and behavior must be made possible through an instructive cycle. Character education is a course of doing students' requests to become people of truly good character regarding heart, mind, body, feelings, and goals. The reason for this study is to work on the nature of execution and learning outcomes that lead to the achievement of student character development through learning to write Indonesian. This kind of examination differs subjectively, by describing, recording, endlessly interpreting how the positive side of character education is depicted in the basic characters in Shion Miura's shrewd Merakit Kapal and Andrea Hirata's original Padang Bulan novel. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive method by examining the educational value documents of the main characters in the novel Merakit Kapal by Shion Miura and the novel Padang Bulan by Andrea Hirata and examines their relevance to literary learning in high school. The value of character education depicted in the main character of the novel Merakit Kapal combines the strengths of the original characters in the form of being trained, brave, intelligent, caring, independent, shy, gentle, beautiful, focused, and socially caring. Meanwhile, the value of character education depicted in the main character Padang Bulan by Andrea Hirata includes personal strengths that are firm, honest, brave, fair, shrewd, obligation, autonomy, covering disgrace, majesty, love for the homeland, hard worker, and social considerations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan TikTok sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks prosedur di SMP Negeri 5 Muaro Jambi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil menunjukkan ada perbedaan rata-rata gain skor pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, di mana kelas eksperimen memperoleh rata-rata skor sebesar 0,4500 sedangkan kelas kontrol memperoleh rata-rata gain skor sebesar 0,1657.  Hasil tabel t-test or equality of means didapat nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) antara gain skor kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sebasar 0,000 ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) yang diperoleh dari gain skor kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol lebih kecil dari 0,05. Temuan ini menyuratkan penggunaan TikTok sebagai media pembelajaran memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 5 Muaro Jambi.
