Abstract

This study aims to understand the complexity of higher education policy transformation in Indonesia by comparing two major policy approaches: Kampus Merdeka and Diktisaintek Berdampak. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and the method of literature review, this research analyzes various secondary sources such as official policy documents, scholarly journals, academic books, and research reports. The findings indicate that Kampus Merdeka focuses on learning flexibility, institutional autonomy, and strengthening student engagement with the professional world and society, although its implementation still faces infrastructure challenges and disparities between institutions. Meanwhile, Diktisaintek Berdampak emphasizes research downstreaming, innovation commercialization, and the active role of higher education in the development of a knowledge-based economy. This shift reflects a paradigmatic change from academic autonomy toward a strategic and applicative impact orientation. In conclusion, both policies need to be synergized within an inclusive, adaptive, and collaborative higher education ecosystem to produce high-quality and competitive graduates while contributing meaningfully to national development.

Abstract

This study explores the marketing strategies of educational services and their influence on student enrollment at MTs Al-Mukrimin Guppi Bulukasa, an Islamic junior high school in Indonesia. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observations, interviews with school leaders and teachers, and documentation analysis. The findings highlight a three-stage marketing process comprising planning (community outreach and distribution of promotional materials), organizing (establishment of a school-based marketing team), and implementation (building trust through community engagement). These strategies have proven effective in attracting new students and enhancing the institution’s visibility. The study contributes to the limited literature on educational marketing in Islamic schools by offering practical insights into localized and community-centered approaches. It underscores the importance of strategic planning and relationship-building in improving public perception and institutional growth. The implications of this research are relevant for school leaders seeking sustainable enrollment strategies in increasingly competitive educational environments.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of educational punishment in enhancing student discipline within public elementary schools in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Grounded in qualitative research methodology, the study utilized classroom observation, structured interviews with teachers, and document analysis to assess behavioral changes among students following the implementation of corrective disciplinary measures. The findings reveal a significant improvement in students' adherence to school rules and classroom norms after the introduction of pedagogically sound punishments. The disciplinary interventions were carefully designed to be constructive, non-threatening, and proportional to the students’ infractions. Cooperation between teachers, school principals, and students played a crucial role in supporting the enforcement of discipline. The study concludes that educational punishment, when applied with consistency and empathy, serves not only as a deterrent but also as a developmental tool for shaping responsible student behavior. These findings have implications for educators and policymakers seeking effective, ethical strategies for managing discipline in primary education.

Abstract

Graphical Abstract     Highlight Research 1. The dsRNA application should correspond to the developmental stages of shrimp2. Immersion method was commonly used for larvae for handling many individuals3. Injection technique effectively delivered dsRNA to cells but was unsuitable for large-scale4. Oral administration of pellet-enriched dsRNA was applicable to apply on shrimp larvae, juveniles, and broodstocks     Abstract RNAi technology offers a novel powerful approach to silence gene expression by introducing double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) into the cell to degrade the mRNA at the post-transcriptional stage. An administration method of dsRNA delivery is one of the main considerations in applying the dsRNA vaccine for controlling pathogen infections. This mini-review was focused on the evaluation of three different methods (immersion, injection, and oral administration) of VP15-dsRNA vaccine delivery to the tiger shrimp post-WSSV challenge test. The immersion method was generally applied for the larval stage of tiger shrimp and seemed to be a simple technique for a large number of individuals in a small tank. The VP15-dsRNA application by immersion improved the survival of tiger shrimp larvae by 3.9% compared to the control groups. The injection technique was an effective way to deliver dsRNA to the cell, but it is difficult to apply in a large number of individuals or populations. The injection of VP15-dsRNA increased significantly the survival rate, proPO, and THC of tiger shrimp. A higher survival rate (75%) was exhibited in tiger shrimp injected with in vivo and in vitro VP15-dsRNA than in the control. Oral administration by pellet-enriched VP15-dsRNA was a useful way for larvae, juveniles, and broodstocks, but it has limitations since the pellet leaches into the water. The application of the VP15-dsRNA vaccine on the feed significantly enhanced the 26.7% higher survival rate compared to the control. The higher survival was also supported by a higher number of THC. The three VP15-dsRNA delivery methods provide potential approaches to increase tiger shrimp resistance to control pathogen infection

Abstract

Purpose – This study examines the key factors driving profit-sharing financing growth in Indonesian Islamic banks and offers insights into post-Covid-19 recovery strategies.Methodology – This study used the ECM and ARDL methods to analyze short-term adjustments and long-term dynamics in 35 Indonesian Islamic banks. Findings – The results indicate that money supply, liquidity ratio, and financial profitability drive both short- and long-term growth in profit-sharing financing. Conversely, inflation and financial risk negatively affect the long-term expansion of such financing. Meanwhile, exchange rates, interest rates, and operational efficiency do not have a significant influence. Additionally, the findings highlight that long-term relationships in profit-sharing financing remain stable, with temporary short-term imbalances.Implications – This study provides evidence for policymakers and Islamic bank management to develop strategies to enhance profit-sharing financing, support Islamic banking growth, and guide post-Covid-19 recovery policies. Insights highlight key areas for strengthening Islamic banking operations in Indonesia.Originality – This study builds on previous research by applying the ECM and ARDL frameworks, providing a more comprehensive analysis of profit-sharing financing determinants in Indonesian Islamic banking.
