Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan English for Specific Purposes (ESP) dalam pembelajaran Komunikasi Penyiaran Islam di Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam (PTKI) sebagai upaya meningkatkan relevansi dan efektivitas pembelajaran bahasa Inggris bagi mahasiswa Program Studi KPI. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar dosen bahasa Inggris telah mengadaptasi prinsip-prinsip ESP dalam pengajaran, meskipun belum terintegrasi secara formal dalam kurikulum. Mahasiswa menilai pembelajaran berbasis ESP lebih menarik dan relevan dengan kebutuhan profesi penyiaran Islam, terutama dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara, penulisan naskah siaran, dan komunikasi dakwah dalam bahasa Inggris. Implementasi ESP juga terbukti meningkatkan kepercayaan diri, kemampuan kolaborasi, dan kesadaran budaya global mahasiswa. Namun, tantangan utama masih terletak pada keterbatasan sumber daya dosen dan bahan ajar kontekstual. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan kurikulum ESP yang kolaboratif antara dosen bahasa Inggris dan dosen KPI, serta penggunaan media digital untuk mendukung praktik penyiaran berbahasa Inggris di lingkungan PTKI.

Abstract

Automotive youtube video refers to the study of self-propelled automobiles or machines that applies to standard automobiles, sports cars, tractor- trailers, marine automobiles motorcycles, and more. In the millennial era, students not only use youtube to watch but also to enhance their speaking skills. Youtube can be a media for students to study by themselves. Self- study is focuses on the individual's own practice and role in it, as well as exploring deeper to understand motivations, beliefs, and concerns about a specific part of practice. This descriptive qualitative study conducted to find how the implementation of Automotive Youtube video in developing students’ speaking skills. The population of this study was 15 Mechanical Engineering students at 12th grade of SMK Negeri 7 Pontianak as the sample. The instrument used in this study is observation, questionnaire, and interview. Based on the result, students implementations on automotive youtube video wasdifferent each other. This result showed that students have distinctive ways in implementing automotive youtube video as self-study media. It will be useful for the teacher to make learning English better related to their interests.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the effect of service quality, price, and taste on consumer satisfaction at Ghathaf Coffee Premium, Pante Kec.Syamtalira Aron, North Aceh Regency partially. This study uses primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to 126 respondents. The questionnaire instrument was tested through validity tests and reliability tests with Cronbach's Alpha approach. To test the feasibility of the regression model, a series of classical assumption tests were carried out which included normality tests, multicollinearity tests, and heteroscedasticity tests. Hypothesis testing was carried out using a t-test (partial) and coefficient of determination (R²) analysis. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 23 software. The results of the study show that the Service Quality variable has a significance value of 0.005 and a tcal value of 2.844 > ttable, which is 1.657 which means that it has a positive and significant effect on Consumer Satisfaction. Thus, the first hypothesis is accepted. Meanwhile, the Price variable has a significance value of 0.027 and a calculation of 2.243 > table, which means it has a positive and significant influence on Consumer Satisfaction, so the second hypothesis is accepted. Furthermore, the Taste variable showed a significance value of 0.009 and a calculation of 2.672 > ttable which means it has a positive and significant influence on Consumer Satisfaction, so the third hypothesis is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the partial influence of service quality, price, and taste on Consumer satisfaction has a positive and significant influence.

Abstract

This studies is motivated by public relations managementin building school image based on four indicators, namely communication, propaganda building, establishing relationships with journalists, and advertising. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of public relations management in improving school image at UPT SMK Negeri 1 Wajo, Tanasitolo District, Wajo Regency. The type of research in this study is qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study are the School Principal, the Deputy Principal for Public Relations, one teacher, parents/guardians of students, and one alumnus. The object of this study is SMK Negeri 1 Wajo. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that effective public relations management not only contributes to improving the school's image but also plays a crucial role in attracting prospective students to enroll. Thus, the success of public relations management can be one of the key factors in achieving broader educational goals.

Abstract

This article explores the impact of implementing the Full Day School system on students' learning motivation within educational institutions. The study is driven by the need for innovation in learning methods to enhance the overall quality of education, particularly in fostering student motivation. Since its adoption in 2018 at UPT SMA Negeri 11 Wajo, the Full Day School program has continued to generate mixed reactions among students, teachers, and parents. Some students report increased motivation, while others express feelings of fatigue and boredom. Using a quantitative research approach, the study reveals that the Full Day School model significantly affects students' learning motivation at UPT SMA Negeri 11 Wajo, accounting for 62.3% of the influence, with the remaining 37.7% attributed to other factors.

Abstract

Science learning in the 21st century requires strategies that can foster active thinking, reflective ability, collaboration, and contextual application of concepts. This article conceptually reviews the MACCA (Mindful Analysis, Collaboration, Creation, and Application) learning model as a constructivist approach grounded in the macca cultural values of the Bugis people in South Sulawesi. The macca value reflects wisdom, prudence, and careful reasoning, which align with the reflective character emphasized in ecosystem learning. This study employs a literature review method by examining various works related to constructivist theory, reflective and collaborative learning, as well as the integration of local wisdom in science education. The findings indicate that MACCA adapts Vygotsky’s principles of social constructivism to a local cultural context through four interconnected stages: Mindful Analysis, Collaboration, Creation, and Application. These four syntaxes create a learning process that is reflective, creative, collaborative, and applicative, contributing to the development of students’ critical thinking, social responsibility, and ecological awareness. Thus, the MACCA model not only offers a culture-based pedagogical innovation but also strengthens the linkage between constructivist theory and contextual learning practices in supporting the Merdeka Curriculum and the advancement of sustainable scientific literacy.

Abstract

Eksploitasi anak tetap menjadi masalah serius mengenai pelanggaran hak-hak anak di Indonesia, sering kali melibatkan orang tua yang seharusnya melindungi mereka. Fenomena ini menghasilkan berbagai dampak, termasuk kerusakan pada kondisi fisik dan mental anak, serta pelanggaran terhadap norma hukum, sosial, dan ajaran agama Islam. Artikel ini bertujian untuk menganalisis praktik eksploitasi anak yang dilakukan oleh orang tua melalui dua sudut pandang utama yang saling terkait:perspektif sosiologis dan hukum Islam (syariah), dengan menggunakan dasar normatif dari Undang-UndanNomor 35 Tahun 2014 tentang Perlindungan Anak. Studi ini menerapkan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan tehnik studi literatur pada sumber-sumber hukum positif, penafsiran Al-Qur’an, hadist, serta data empiris dari KPAI, Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa berbagai bentuk eksploitasi, baik dalam konteks ekonomi, media digital, maupun aspek sosial budaya, merupakan pelanggaran serius terhadap Pasal 76I UU No. 35 Tahun 2014 dan secara mendasar bertentangan dengan maqasid al syari’ah, khususnya dalam nilai-nilai perlindungan terhadap kehidupan (ḥifz), pikiran, dan garis keturunan. Dalam pandangan Islam, anak dilihat sebagai tanggung jawab yang harus dijaga, bukan sekadar alat untuk memenuhi kepentingan dunia. Oleh karena itu, kerja sama antara hukum yang berlaku dan prinsip-prinsip hukum Islam sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan usaha pencegahan serta penegakan hukum dalam melawan eksploitasi anak oleh orang tua di era modern ini.

Abstract

Background : Posyandu and Posbindu cadres play an important role in improving community health. However, in Loa Pari Village, Tenggarong Seberang District, many cadres have never received proper training, resulting in limited knowledge and skills in carrying out health services. Through the “Laskar Sehat (Cadre Training)” program, this activity aims to enhance the capacity and competence of cadres in delivering basic health services. After the training, cadres are expected to become more skilled, independent, and actively contribute to creating a healthier and more empowered community in Loa Pari Village. Objective : The LASKAR SEHAT was implemented to enhance the capacity and competency of Posyandu (Integrated Service Post) cadres, particularly those serving at Posyandu Lansia Kenanga 1 and Posbindu PTM. The activities involved direct educational sessions and the distribution of an educational pocketbook designed to strengthen the cadres’ knowledge and practical skills. Through these efforts, the program aimed to develop active, competent, and well-prepared cadres capable of performing promotive and preventive public health functions within Loa Pari Village. The success of the program was measured by comparing the participants’ pre-test and post-test scores. Research Methods/ Implementation Methods : The Community Field Learning I activity by Public Health students of Group 12 was held on July 9, 2025, at Loa Pari Village Hall, Tenggarong Seberang District, Kutai Kartanegara. This program included health education and training for nine Posyandu Lansia and Posbindu PTM cadres on non-communicable diseases, anthropometric measurements, BMI calculation, blood pressure monitoring using a digital tensimeter, and completing elderly health monitoring books. The activity consisted of four stages: pre-test, health education and booklet distribution, practical training, and post-test to evaluate the improvement of the cadres’ knowledge and skills in understanding the materials and using health equipment. Results : The increase in knowledge of Laskar Sehat participants from before counseling to after counseling is equal to a significant improvement, reflecting the effectiveness of the health education provided in enhancing their understanding and awareness.

Abstract

School quality is related to the supervision of the principal. Principal supervision is an effort to improve teaching and learning process or assistance to teachers in order to help students to be better in learning. This study aims to describe the supervision of principals in improving the performance of teachers in SDN Center Mawang, Bontomarannu District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. This research was a qualitative research with a case study approach using observation method by looking at the activities in schools, interviews to find out the implementation of supervision in schools and documentation by looking at the results of supervision of principals or teacher performance assessment. The results of the study showed that the principal supervision, monitoring and assessment had not yet been implemented and still needed to be evaluated. The inhibiting factors of the principal supervision were internal and external obstacles.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Balita merupakan kelompok paling rentan terhadap pneumonia karena sistem pernapasan yang belum matang sepenuhnya. Paparan asap rokok, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung, terbukti menjadi faktor risiko utama yang meningkatkan insidensi pneumonia, dan infeksi saluran pernapasan lainnya pada balita 3-9 kali lipat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keterkaitan antara tingkat pendidikan ayah yang aktif merokok dengan tingkat pemahaman mereka tentang penyakit pneumonia pada anak balita. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Jumlah responden sebanyak 100 orang ayah yang dilakukan dengan purposive sampling yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Hasil penelitian penunjukkan bahwa mayoritas ayah perokok aktif memiliki latar pendidikan menengah (72,3%), diikuti oleh pendidikan tinggi (45,8%), dan hanya sedikit yang berpendidikan dasar (3%), 74% responden memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup tentang pneumonia pada balita, dengan 22,9% memiliki pengetahuan baik dan hanya 3% yang pengetahuannya kurang. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pendidikan dengan pengetahuan ayah perokok aktif mengenai pneumonia pada balita dengan p-value <0,001 (p <0,05). Disarankan intervensi kesehatan masyarakat yang disesuaikan dengan tingkat pendidikan, terutama untuk kelompok berpendidikan rendah, guna mengurangi risiko pneumonia pada balita akibat paparan asap rokok. ABSTRACT Background: Toddlers are the most vulnerable group to pneumonia because their respiratory systems are not yet fully developed. Exposure to cigarette smoke, both directly and indirectly, has been proven to be a major risk factor that increases the incidence of pneumonia and other respiratory tract infections in toddlers by 3-9 times. This study aims to evaluate the relationship between the educational level of fathers who actively smoke and their level of understanding of pneumonia in toddlers. Methods: The quantitative analytical design used in this study is a cross-sectional approach. A total of 100 fathers surveyed through purposive sampling met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: The results of the study indicate that the majority of active smokers have a secondary education (72.3%), followed by higher education (45.8%), and only a few have a primary education (3%). Seventy-four percent of respondents have sufficient knowledge about pneumonia in toddlers, with 22.9% having a good understanding, and 3% having insufficient knowledge. There was a significant relationship between education level and the knowledge of active smoking fathers about pneumonia in infants with a p-value <0.001 (p <0.05). It is recommended that public health interventions be tailored to education levels, especially for low-educated groups, to reduce the risk of pneumonia in infants due to exposure to cigarette smoke.
