Abstract

This study intends to analyze the effect of the characteristics of the Audit Committee on the performance of Islamic and conventional comparative banks in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach with comparative methods and Partial analysis of Least Square-Structural Equation Model. The independent variables used include size, women's involvement, financial expertise, independence and number of meetings, while the dependent variable uses return on assets as a projection of bank performance. Data for all variables are obtained from annual reports that have been published on the official website of each bank. The results of the study found that the involvement of women and financial expertise had an effect on the performance of Islamic banks and independence and the number of meetings had an effect on the performance of conventional banks.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze students' perceptions regarding the use of VR-based virtual laboratories inincreasing students' interest in learning chemistry. The research method used is a simple survey method. The researchsample was students from SMAN 3 Mataram, totaling 51 people. Analysis of data from a simple survey using adescriptive quantitative method. The questionnaire instrument is an instrument that is used to collect data anddisseminate it online using the Google Form. The data obtained shows the usefulness, use, responses and advantagesand disadvantages of VR-based virtual laboratories. After conducting the survey, it turned out that the use of VRbasedvirtual laboratories received positive responses and perceptions from students.Key words: Virtual lab, Interests, Online learning

Abstract

The advent of modernization in the 19th century significantly influenced the development of Langsa City, Aceh Province, as a cosmopolitan city. Despite having a strong Islamic tradition, Langsa was able to embrace cosmopolitanism without losing its Acehnese identity. This study focuses on the influence of cosmopolitanism on the socio-cultural life of the Langsa community. Cosmopolitanism in Langsa also influenced the lifestyle of its people, as seen in their global thinking and the perspectives of the educated elite. The research findings indicate that cosmopolitanism in Langsa has been ongoing for a long time, starting from the pre-Islamic era, continuing through the waves of European and other foreign arrivals, the influence of colonialism, independence, the arrival of modernist Islam, and up to the New Order political era. With abundant natural resources, Langsa has attracted foreigners. The interaction of people from various nations has led to the convergence of diverse cultures. However, despite being influenced by external cultures, the people of Langsa have also maintained their original culture amidst a hybrid culture. This is partly because the native people of Langsa, in their lifestyle, tend to follow the ulama(religious scholars) rather than the umara (secular leaders). As a cosmopolitan city, Langsa has also become a meeting place for modernist thoughts. One example is the acceptance of Muhammadiyah as a modernist Islamic organization.

Abstract

Subak Sembung has a wide coverage area of 103 ha of rice fields with a total length of 5.1 km of tertiary irrigation canals. The Subak Sembung area has experienced land conversion of 14 ha which has had an impact on the performance of the subak system. The strategy that can be implemented to maintain the sustainability of the subak system is to develop agrotourism. Based on the survey results at the study area, there are several problems that have the potential to disrupt the performance of the irrigation system, including damage to irrigation structures and leakage of irrigation canals, and a lack of support for subak development towards agrotourism. The aim of this study was to assess the condition and performance of an agrotourism-oriented irrigation system in Subak Sembung. This research was conducted using field survey and interview methods. Field surveys were carried out with the aim of determining the conditions of agrotourism-oriented irrigation systems. Interviews were conducted to assess the performance of an agrotourism oriented irrigation system using the subak assessment form based on the Tri Hita Karana developed by the Udayana University Subak Unit and the agro-tourism form. Based on the research that has been done, it can be stated that the condition of the agrotourism oriented irrigation system in Subak Sembung is good. This is shown based on the functioning of irrigation network assets and non-irrigation networks. The performance of agrotourism oriented irrigation systems in Subak Sembung is in the range of 3.66 - 5.00 in the good category.

Abstract

Introduction : Diabetic gangrene is a complication of Diabetes Mellitus due to chronicneuropathy, vascular insufficiency and infection. Aggressive therapy for diabetic gangrene isneeded so that leg amputation can be avoided, one of which is treating local wounds in the legarea using the infrared method. Research. Method: Descriptive analytic with a cross sectionalapproach was used in this research. The research respondents were 30 patients whounderwent infrared treatment at the Surabaya Wound Care Home in Sidoarjo. The aim of thisstudy was to determine the factors that influence compliance with infrared therapy. Result &Analysis : The research results showed that 18 respondents (60%) complied and 12respondents (40%) did not comply, mean: 35.36 and standard deviation: 4.94. Discussion :Respondents who did not comply with infrared therapy were influenced by: the perceivedbenefits of the wound healing process were not felt enough, the length of the wound healingprocess, feelings of laziness caused respondents not to comply with recommendations,wounds that improved caused respondents to stop therapy.

Abstract

The Sahid University Jakarta community service team partnered with the management of the Flamboyan Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA) to hold banner design training using a cell phone with the Canva application. The aim of this community service is to provide knowledge and understanding about the importance of placing banners as promotional media, how to design banners and compose attractive and persuasive messages easily using a cell phone, so as to expand the culinary business market for women around this RPTRA. . This training activity was carried out in two stages, namely the first was providing material about the importance of making banners as a product promotion medium for women who operate micro-scale culinary businesses who live around the Flamboyan RPTRA. Second, practical assistance on how to design banners by the Fikom Usahid community service team, so that micro business women around the Flamboyan RPTRA, apart from understanding, can design banners and compose attractive messages, so that they can function as promotional media for their merchandise. After the evaluation was carried out, it could be stated that the training participants were very enthusiastic about participating in the training activities. Then, it can also be stated that the training in designing banners using cell phones was successful in increasing the knowledge and understanding of women who sell around the Flamboyan RPTRA. This is shown by the post test results being higher than the pretest results. Apart from that, at varying levels, training participants are able to design banners using cell phones, so that after the training the participants can design banners as promotional media for their merchandise, thereby increasing product sales.

Abstract

Films wield significant societal influence by imparting moral messages, particularly resonating with the millennial demographic. This study delves into the moral narrative of the true-story-based film "172 Days." Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research scrutinizes the macro, superstructure, and microstructure of the film. Through Teun Van Dick's Critical Discourse Analysis, the macro structure illustrates life's trials, emphasizing patience and sincerity. The superstructure emphasizes love for all things solely for the sake of Allah. Lastly, the microstructure advocates audience sincerity and patience in embracing their destiny. The findings underscore the film's profound message of resilience and faith, resonating with contemporary societal values. By analyzing the film's layers, this research sheds light on the nuanced ways in which cinema shapes moral consciousness and societal perceptions.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in enhancing learning outcomes among fourth-grade students at SD IT BUNAYYA, particularly in the subject of form of substances (IPAS). Conducted through classroom action research (PTK) over three cycles, data was collected via observation and tests. The subjects were fourth-grade students, and success was defined as achieving a class average of at least 7.5. Results showed an average score of 6.4 in cycle I, 6.8 in cycle II, and 8.5 in cycle III, indicating a notable improvement in student learning outcomes. Increased learning activity was also observed. Recommendations include implementing the PBL model in teaching form of substances and fostering students' problem-solving skills through discussion. This research benefits students by enhancing learning outcomes, supports teachers in improving teaching quality, and contributes positively to overall school efforts to enhance student performance.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Banyaknya pelaku penyebar konten pornografi di sosial media membuat masyarakat resah. Pornografi adalah sesuatu yang memuat unsur seksual dan melanggar norma kesusilaan dalam masyarakat. Di Indonesia sendiri telah banyak peraturan perundang undangan yang membahas mengenai tindak pornogrfi ini sendiri. Ketentuan pidana mengenai pornografi juga telah diatur dalam Pasal 29 UU No 44/2008 Tentang Pornografi. Ketentuan ketentuan mengenai pornografi ini juga di bbahas di beberapa undang undang, diantaranya ada pada KUHP dan juga pada Undang-undang Nomor 19 Tahun 2016 Tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik (ITE). Penulisan ini di lakukan untuk mengetahui mengenai bagaimana sanksi pidana bagi pelaku penuyebarluasn konten pornografi dan juga mengetahui bagaimana perlindungan hukum bagi korban penyebarluasan konten pornografi.   Kata Kunci: Pornografi, Perlindungan, Sanksi     ABSTRACT The large number of perpetrators of spreading pornographic content on social media makes people uneasy. Pornography is something that contains sexual elements and violates the norms of decency in society. In Indonesia itself, there are many laws and regulations that discuss pornography itself. Criminal provisions regarding pornography have also been regulated in Article 29 of Law No. 44/2008 concerning Pornography. The provisions regarding pornography are also discussed in several laws, including those in the Criminal Code and also in Law Number 19 of 2016 Concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE). This writing is done to find out about criminal sanctions for perpetrators of spreading pornographic content and also to find out how legal protection is for victims of pornographic content dissemination. Abstract

Fenomena alih fungsi lahan sawah ke non sawah hampir terjadi di semua wilayah. Penduduk, pemerintah dan perusahaan swasta adalah pelaku perubahan fungsi lahan sawah ke non sawah saat ini. Kabupaten Tabanan adalah salah satu kabupaten di Provinsi Bali sekitar 28 persen dari luas lahan yang ada di Kabupaten Tabanan merupakan lahan persawahan, sehingga Kabupaten Tabanan dikenal dengan sebutan lumbung beras di Provinsi Bali. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menghasilkan sebaran alih fungsi lahan sawah, besaran luas perubahan alih fungsi lahan sawah dan juga tern perubahan alih fungsi lahan sawah di Kabupaten Tabanan tahun 2018-2022. Dalam pembuatan peta perubahan tutupan lahan sawah menggunakan pengolahan citra sentinel dari tahun 2018 hingga tahun 2022. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahapan penelitian, yaitu persiapan, pengumpulan data, pengolahan data, dan analisis data. Perubahan tutupan lahan sawah Kabupaten Tabanan tahun 2018 – 2022 memiliki perubahan tutupan lahan sawah menjadi bangunan sebanyak 1209,794 ha, tutupan lahan sawah menjadi kebun sebanyak 1380,275 ha, tutupan lahan sawah menjadi ladang sebanyak 2630,746 ha dan tutupan lahan sawah yang tetap menjadi sawah sebanyak 1687,179 ha. Perubahan tutupan lahan yang awalnya kebun menjadi sawah sebanyak 2199,893 ha dan tutupan lahan ladang menjadi sawah sebanyak 982,892 ha. ABSTRACT Tabanan Regency is known as a rice barn in the Province of Bali with a rice field area of ??28% of the total area of ??Tabanan Regency. According to data from the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) grain production in 2018-2022 in Tabanan Regency has decreased by 19,181 tons. One of the reasons for the decline in production is thought to be due to the conversion of paddy fields. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution of conversion of paddy fields, the area of ??conversion of paddy fields and determine the trend of change in the function of paddy fields. The stages of the research included collecting sentinel-2A image data, cloud masking, spatial analysis, and temporal analysis of land conversion from 2018 to 2022. From the results of the spatial analysis, it was found that land use is lakes, buildings, gardens, rice fields and fields. The results of the temporal analysis of land use show that the change in the use of paddy fields into buildings is 1,209.794 ha, the use of paddy fields into gardens is 1,380.275 ha, the use of paddy fields into fields is 2,630.746 ha and the use of paddy fields that remains paddy fields are 1,687.179 ha in area. Changes in land use from gardens to paddy fields are 2,199.893 ha and from field land use to paddy fields are 982.892 ha. It can be concluded that the biggest change trend in the use of paddy fields in Tabanan Regency in 2018-2022 is the conversion of paddy fields to fields and then to farms and buildings.
