Abstract

The Cikaniki resort is one of the most accessible research stations located in the Gunung Halimun Salak National Park (GHSNP). It is in adjacent with Citalahab village. The Research Center for Biology, Indonesian Institute of Sciences and other institutions have conducted intensive research on the fauna diversity of GHSNP from this station. Here we formulate a checklist on fauna diversity surrounding the Cikaniki Research Station and Citalahab, GHNSP from various sources, i.e. field work, museum collections (Museum Zoologicum Bogoriense), scientific publications, and technical report. The study was conducted from October 2019 until October 2020. The latest field work was conducted from 8-10 October 2019 under the framework of the Jungle Survival and Biological Collection Management 2019 program. In total, 821 fauna species were recorded in Cikaniki-Citalahab areas which comprises of 48 species of Mollusca, five species of Malacostraca, 523 species of Insects, 22 species of Actinopterygii, 63 species of Amphibia and Reptiles, 115 species of Aves and 45 species of Mammals. The diversity contributes 62.1% of the total 1,323 known fauna species in GHSNP. Five number of species were assigned as endangered and three species critical endangered by IUCN. In addition, 123 species were endemic to Java and 34 species protected by Regulation of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry Republic of Indonesia Number P.106/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/12/2018. The areas of Cikaniki and Citalahab are rich in biodiversity. Although both areas are in close intact with human activity, research and ecotourism, the need of continuously spreading awareness and enforce species and area conservation is inevitable.

Abstract

In December 2018, Kuningan University launched the Green Campus. The eco - campus program is motivated by, among others, that the campus environment is expecting to be a comfortable, clean, shady (green), beautiful, and healthy place to gain knowledge. The campus environment as an inseparable part of the urban ecosystem is not insignificant in its role and contribution to increasing or reducing global warming. Besides that, what is also important is how the campus community can implement Environmental Science and Technology in a Real Field. Therefore the Eco-Campus program is aimed at increasing the awareness and concern of the campus community as a collection of scientific societies to participate and be responsible for reducing Global Warming. However, er, of all these issues, the most important thing is how we can apply the concept in our daily behavior better known as green behavior, then how this behavior can be transmitted and taught in the context of education. Sometimes we think too hard about behaviors like what can say green behavior

Abstract

Mangroves are now increasingly rare in Indonesian waters because almost all of the mangroves have been damaged. This is certainly very alarming considering that mangroves actually have a very important role for the survival of all living things. Referring to the problem, it is necessary to introduce ecoliteracy of "mangroves" as a small action aimed at inviting students to save mangrove ecosystems that have been damaged one of the ways by replanting mangrove plants around the waters, to instill students' caring attitudes towards the environment and foster a student's love for environment. The method used in this research is literature study which refers to literature review in the form of articles in journals, books, and other reliable sources related to the research title. Based on the results of the study, explaining that in social studies learning at school students not only acquire basic theories but also the need to develop social skills possessed by students specifically in maintaining and preserving mangroves

Abstract

The environment is defined as a place where living things carry out their life activities. Clean and sustainable environment can sustain continuous life(sustainability). Therefore, intelligence is needed to support it, one of the intelligence that is the basis for this ecological intelligence (ecoliteracy). Every behavior or action of a person based on ecological intelligence,it does not only have an impact on himself and others, but also on other living things and the nature around where a person lives or in other terms "empathy for all forms of life". Current conditions in elementary schools have not shown students who have ecological intelligence. The development of social skills or character of students in elementary schools still focuses on human interaction. Through ecopedagogy, teachers need to link interactions between humans and the environment or nature. The purpose of writing this article is to describe some aspects of the theory of ecological intelligence development of students in elementary schools. This study uses a literature study (literature review) which produces a description of several theories in developing ecological intelligence of students in elementary schools

Abstract

Ecoliteracy or Ecological Intelligence is intelligence that is built by understanding, awareness and life skills in harmony with the preservation of nature. This study began with an objective observation in the Binekas Elementary School in Bandung regarding the behavior of students related to environmental awareness. The observation of the behavior of class III students totaling 22 people showed that they were not accustomed to separating organic and inorganic waste, as well as damaging and picking vines in the school. This study aims to increase students' ecoliteracy through contextual teaching learning (CTL) based on outdoor study in elementary social studies learning. The teaching and learning process uses CTL with the material 'Protecting the Environment for the Preservation of Plants and Animals ". The purpose of CTL learning based on outdoor study is to improve environmental problems and increase student ecoliteracy. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research with a design developed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart for 2 cycles. The results showed that there was an increase in students' ecoliteracy in terms of knowledge, skills and attitudes. Abstract

Education in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 requires students to have higher-order thinking skills. One of the high-level skills that students must have is critical thinking skills. These skills are one of the important skills in increasing the ranking of Indonesia's PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) which is still relatively low, so a learning model is needed that can affect students' critical thinking abilities. This study uses literature studies to describe the effectiveness of problem-based learning models on critical thinking skills in social science learning in elementary schools. After the researchers conducted a literature review from various sources. The research results found that the problem-based learning model has an effective influence on students' critical thinking skills in social science learning. The conclusion of the research results shows that educators play an important role in implementing and designing innovative learning models so that they can foster students' critical thinking skills in social science learning in elementary schools.
