Abstract

This article included the author’s analysis results which referred to the history learning process findings in schools and the theoretical aspects of creativity regarding creative history teachers. The author made an analogy for a creative history teacher as a creative historian. The paper combined two different approaches in the History education field and in cognitive psychology. The first approach used cognitive aspects of thinking developed by Vygotsky related to the ability of imagination. The second approach used the historical method from Collingwood in interpreting historical data and facts that also used imagination. The first approach analyzed how history produces creative history learning to cultivate students’ creative thinking abilities. At the same time, the second approach resulted from creative historiography as a historian’s creative work, which can also be seen in history textbooks for history subjects in schools. Both approaches that seem classic lead to creative thinking skills, both for history teachers and historians, including history textbook writers. Both approaches are also enriched with contemporary theoretical aspects, especially in the pedagogical aspect. This article focused on several history teachers who teach at senior high schools in Bandung. Some are also students of the Master Program in History Education, Graduate School of the Indonesia University of Education (UPI). They were used as resource persons through dialogue and observation and the Field Experience Program (PPL) implementation for prospective History teachers.Artikel ini berisi hasil analisis penulis yang mengacu pada temuan proses pembelajaran Sejarah di sekolah dan juga mengacu pada aspek teoretis kreativitas mengenai guru Sejarah kreatif. Penulis menganalogikan guru Sejarah kreatif sebagai sejarawan kreatif. Tulisan memadukan dua pendekatan berbeda dalam bidang pendidikan Sejarah dan dalam psikologi kognitif. Pendekatan pertama menggunakan aspek kognitif dalam berpikir yang dikembangkan oleh Vygotsky terkait dengan kemampuan imajinasi. Pendekatan kedua menggunakan metode kesejarahan dari Collingwood dalam menafsir data dan fakta peristiwa Sejarah yang juga menggunakan imajinasi. Pendekatan pertama digunakan untuk menganalisis bagaimana Sejarah menghasilkan pembelajaran Sejarah yang kreatif dengan tujuan menghasilkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Sedangkan pendekatan kedua menghasilkan historiografi kreatif sebagai karya kreatif sejarawan yang juga bisa nampak pada buku teks Sejarah untuk Pelajaran Sejarah di sekolah. Kedua pendekatan yang nampaknya klasik tersebut bermuara pada menghasilkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif, baik berpikir guru Sejarah maupun berpikir sejarawan, termasuk penulis buku teks Sejarah. Kedua pendekatan tersebut juga diperkaya dengan aspek teoretis kontemporer, khususnya dalam aspek pedagogik. Tulisan difokuskan pada beberapa guru Sejarah yang mengajar di SMA di Bandung. Sebagian dari mereka adalah juga sebagai mahasiswa Program Magister Pendidikan Sejarah, Sekolah Pascasarjana Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). Mereka dijadikan narasumber melalui dialog dan observasi bersamaan dengan pelaksanaan Program Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) calon guru Sejarah.

Abstract

The development of the digital era has brought many changes in human life, including the transformation of education and literacy. Literacy further develops into a basic skill to be able to compete amid today's globalizations. It is also an important competency to be developed for students through the learning process. Creative pedagogy is a solution to solving this problem where students have creative potential that must be supported to be developed. Through learning the local history of Langkat Sultanate, a creative pedagogical approach can be applied by combining the use of literacy to carry out learning. By using literature study, the author constructs the discussion in this article to obtain a meaningful picture of how to apply creative pedagogy and literacy learning in learning the local history of the Langkat Sultanate. The integration of these approaches produces creative literacy concepts that provide opportunities for students to develop multicompetence such as 21st-century and literacy skills, including digital literacy. These skills are very relevant to the goals of education to create human resources who are intelligent, competitive, and have character. Perkembangan era digital telah memberi banyak perubahan dalam kehidupan manusia termasuk transformasi pendidikan dan literasi. Literasi lebih lanjut berkembang menjadi suatu kecakapan dasar untuk dapat bersaing ditengah globalisasi dimasa ini. Selain itu, kreativitas menjadi kompetensi penting yang harus dikembangkan kepada peserta didik melalui proses pembelajaran. Pedagogi kreatif menjadi solusi untuk memecahkan persoalan tersebut dimana peserta didik memiliki potensi kreatif yang harus didukung untuk dikembangkan. Melalui pembelajaran sejarah lokal Kesultanan Langkat, pendekatan pedagogi kreatif dapat diterapkan dengan memadukan penggunaan literasi untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran. Dengan menggunakan studi literatur, Penulis mengkonstruksi pembahasan dalam artikel ini untuk mendapatkan gambaran bermakna bagaimana menerapkan pedagogi kreatif dan pembelajaran literasi dalam pembelajaran sejarah lokal Kesultanan Langkat. Integrasi dari sejumlah pendekatan tersebut menghasilkan konsep literasi kreatif yang memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta didik untuk mengembangkan multikompetensi seperti keterampilan abad 21 dan keterampilan literasi, termasuk literasi digital. Kecakapan tersebut sangat relevan dengan tujuan pendidikan untuk menciptakan sumber daya manusia cerdas, kompetitif, dan berkarakter.

Abstract

This study aims to improve 21st century life skills in elementary school students based on morals. One way that can be done to achieve this is by instilling and providing moral intelligence from an early age in accordance with the core competencies of KI - 2, namely the social aspects contained in basic competence 2.3 in social studies subjects grade V in elementary schools, namely being tolerant in diversity. religious people in society in the context of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. The process of inculcating moral intelligence is carried out through a creative writing model based on a diary. The diary-based creative writing model is a multiliterate learning that encourages students to analyze moral issues based on their respective student activities. This model consists of the following stages. (1) pre-write; (2) write; and (3) post writing. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method of non-equivalent pretest posttest design. The results of this study indicate that the application of a diary-based creative writing model is able to increase students' knowledge of moral intelligence by 1.08 (the difference between pretest and posttest results) with the quality of improvement in the medium category. The increase in students' moral intelligence can be seen when students write down identification results in diaries related to moral intelligence, give reasons for activities that have been classified as good and bad, and make plans for activities to be carried out as preventive and countermeasures based on their diaries.

Abstract

In general, the intelligence possessed by students is different from one another. The factors influence intrinsic factors, maturity, formation, interests, and freedom. In addition, environmental and educational factors also play a role in the formation of intelligence. This study aims to describe Kuhnian's paradigmatic analysis as a solution to the difficulties of abstract thinking in social studies learning. This study describes the discussion by utilizing a literature study. The research results are described in a paradigmatic analysis. Kuhn thoroughly examines each expert's thoughts and scientific works and reveals his contribution to the scientific revolution. Social studies learning dimensions are explained in the form of social action. Social studies are learning conditions of abstract thinking in the process of causality. The reconstruction to solve the problem of difficulty in abstract thinking in social studies subjects in junior high schools is carried out as follows: 1) Teaching social studies as integrative social studies, 2) implementing social studies learning using a trans-disciplinarity approach, 3) conveying that social studies learning is "advanced knowledge." 4) Applying the inquiry model, and 5) Integrating influential social studies learning.

Abstract

Umumnya kacapi digunakan untuk mengiringi lagu-lagu tembang dan kawih. Tapi jaman terus berkembang, kreativitas para praktisi seni pun berjalan menyesuaikan perkembangan jaman. Penelitian dengan judul “Kacapi Iringan Lagu Bulan di Priangan Karya Ubun R. Kubarsah” ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap pengembangan kacapi iringan dalam lagu Bulan di Priangan. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan kacapi dalam lagu Bulan di Priangan, sistem nada yang digunakan, serta komposisi musik iringannya. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka, kemudian data direduksi dan di display. Temuan penelitian menunjukan bahwa pattren-pattren atau pola tabuh karawitan Sunda dalam komposisi musik iringan lagu Bulan di Priangan ini sudah tidak digunakan. Hal tersebut dikatakan sebagai perluasan kekaryaan dalam musik tradisi Sunda oleh para praktisi seni, sistem nada yang digunakan adalah laras madenda 4=panelu dengan penambahan nada-nada sisipan pada nada rendah atau bass kacapi yang muncul lebih dominan seakan menjadi nada pokok dalam sistem nadanya. Komposisi musik iringan dalam lagu ini secara musikal mudah dipahami, tapi yang menjadi sorotan adalah musik pengiringnya yang berbeda dari pop Sunda pada umumnya.Kata Kunci: Kacapi, pirigan, Bulan di Priangan, pop Sunda, karawitan Sunda.

Abstract

Lack of student interest in literature is due to the low literacy of students. Therefore, one of the ways to improve the students’ literacy and ecological awareness is through children's literature . Hence, Ecoliteration-based children's literature books are considered to be used as learning support books, media as well as sources of learning Bahasa for elementary schools .This study aimed to determine the design of eco-literation-based children's literature models for elementary school students.. This study adopted a development research wich Educational Design Research (EDR) was applied. This study involved lecturers, practitioners/ experts, and elementary school, teachers. The developed book contained some materials namely Bahasa, Science, and Social Sciences for four grade students by proposing a theme of " Peduli Terhadap makhluk Hidup (Caring for Sentient Beings)", added with Basic Competence from 2013 curriculum of Environmental Education lesson (PLH) and eco-literation competencies (Head, Heart, Hands, and Spirit). This study has 3 major findings: (1) the researchers successfully created a eco-literation-based children’s literature model book for elementary school pupils entitled “The Mystery of the Disappearance of A Friend” and “The Mystery of the Butterfly” (2) This study found the suitable characteristics of eco-literation book for Elementary School Students, (3) There are positive response towards these kinds of literature from the experts and the teachers.

Abstract

In December 2018, Kuningan University launched the Green Campus. The eco - campus program is motivated by, among others, that the campus environment is expecting to be a comfortable, clean, shady (green), beautiful, and healthy place to gain knowledge. The campus environment as an inseparable part of the urban ecosystem is not insignificant in its role and contribution to increasing or reducing global warming. Besides that, what is also important is how the campus community can implement Environmental Science and Technology in a Real Field. Therefore the Eco-Campus program is aimed at increasing the awareness and concern of the campus community as a collection of scientific societies to participate and be responsible for reducing Global Warming. However, er, of all these issues, the most important thing is how we can apply the concept in our daily behavior better known as green behavior, then how this behavior can be transmitted and taught in the context of education. Abstract

Peserta didik di masa pandemi Covid-19 telah terbiasakan dengan pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) yang sangat minim interaksi antar peserta didik dengan guru serta minim interaksi antar peserta didik dengan peserta didik lainnya. PJJ kebanyakan hanya didominasi pemberian tugas berupa pengerjaan soal di LKS, yang kemudian dikirim melalui forum grup kelas dan platform berlajar online, perlu lebih meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran tatap muka di kelas. IPS sebagai mata pelajaran yang mengkaji kehidupan sosial memiliki peran penting dalam menumbuhkan kepekaan peserta didik terhadap realitas di masyarakat. Pembelajaran IPS di era normal baru perlu disajikan secara lebih kreatif untuk menumbuhkan keterlibatan aktif peserta didik dengan pedagogi kreatif sebagai salah satu alternatifnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pedagogi kreatif dalam pembelajaran IPS. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 2 Pandak Bantul Yogyakarta dengan metode kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VII, guru IPS, pengawas sekolah, dan kepala sekolah. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif interaktif Milles Hubberman yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh terkait pedagogi kreatif dalam pembelajaran IPS meliputi sepuluh bentuk pedagogi kreatif yang dikategorikan menjadi tiga perspektif yaitu creative teaching, creative learning, dan learning for creativity. Creative teaching yang dapat diidentifikasi antara lain dialoggue triggering, dan inspire  children’s imagination and new ideas; Creative learning berupa brainstorming, development for imagination, tend to be attracted by novel things, questioning, task-oriented, dan collaboration; Teaching for creativity berupa creating a learning context for problem solving, dan supportive to learners’ motivation. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pedagogi kreatif dalam pembelajaran IPS mampu menciptakan joyfull learning yang dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik di dalam pembelajaran.Kata kunci:  pedagogi kreatif, creative teaching, creative learning, teaching for creativity, pembelajaran IPS

Abstract

The end of the 20th century was marked by euphoria over the development of internet technology such as the world wide web, which brought changes to scientific development including accessibility of historical sources and its use. This shift supports new adaptations as well as challenges conventional archival models, while opening opportunities for these digitized documents in history learning. However, the conversion or digitization of archives in Indonesia is slow, let alone its use for education, especially history education. This paper will take some experiences from countries that have digitized archives and adapt them in the history learning process as a real-world real-time experience. Two countries, the Netherlands and Australia, will be compared to see how they implement these strategies and how Indonesia can adopt a similar model for it. Further, five teacher candidates were involved as informants in interviews regarding their effort to incorporate digital historical sources in the learningfrom-home activities. A qualitative approach was used to see the extent to which the readiness of technical and non-technical aspects of the implementation of real-world and real-time-experience learning model in history education. While the review shows how promising the digital history and historical sources in the developed countries is, Indonesia is not ready enough for its usage due to some issues. Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Penerapan Model Project Based Learning Dalam Meningkatkan Kreativitas Siswa Melalui Video Digital Pada Pembelajaran Sejarah (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas di Kelas XI IPS 2 SMAN 4 Depok)”. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa melalui penerapan Project Based Learning dengan membuat video digital pada pembelajaran sejarah. Penelitian ini memiliki latar belakang yang berasal dari hasil temuan oleh peneliti di kelas XI IPS 2 SMAN 4 Depok yakni rendahnya kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian yang dikembangkan oleh Mc Kernan. Alasan digunakan desain penelitian Mc Kernan karena desain penelitian ini memiliki waktu yang fleksibel, dengan di dalamnya terdapat tujuh tahapan penelitian dengan dua daur dan delapan tindakan yang dilakukan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas siswa mengalami peningkatan, meskipun pada indikator keluwesan, dalam subindikator mencari alternatif gambar yang sesuai, kreativitas siswa terlihat memiliki skor yang tidak berubah pada daur I dan daur II, serta pada indikator elaborasi mengalami penurunan skor dari daur I ke daur II. Namun, peningkatan yang signifikan dari daur I ke daur II terlihat pada indikator keluwesan dengan subindikator memberikan ide baru pada rancangan sebelumnya.
