Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of managing village funds sourced from APBDes in Bagik Manis Village, Sambelia District, East Lombok Regency, the data collection method in this study uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data originating from budget realization in Bagik Manis Village, Sambelia District, East Lombok Regency in 2019. The effectiveness of the management of village fund allocations is in the effective category, both seen from the effectiveness ratio according to the Ministry of Home Affairs and the effectiveness measure from the results of interviews in Bagik Manis Village, Sambelia District, East Lombok Regency as the recipient of ADD funds is fully responsible for implementing and reporting ADD finances in the village for the benefit of the community. It's just that certain programs or fields need to be improved in terms of funds and attention so that there is no overlap in each field, and not only the transparency of village officials to the community regarding the allocation of village funds makes community participation less in government policies. However, the village government is able to minimize these obstacles so that they are able to complete their tasks properly.

Abstract

Coronary artery perforation is a rare but potentially life-threatening complication of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). A 55-year-old male with a history of implanted stent on the left main ostium to the proximal left circumflex artery (LCX) and distal right coronary artery, and chronic total occlusion (CTO) on ostium left anterior descending (LAD). PCI was performed using a stiff wire to cross the CTO body in LAD. We performed an injection and confirmed the presence of extravasation. We successfully managed to stop the bleeding by placing the tips of floppy wire that were cut into pieces. A drainage pathway was made through thoracotomy for pericardial effusion. Angiography showed persisting extravasation at the wire insertion site. We then made our own covered stent. We implanted on the osteal LAD until proximal LCX. Repeated angiography showed no contrast extravasated from the perforation site, and the patient was stabilized and discharged.

Abstract

Medical emergencies remain the leading cause of death worldwide, with most occurring in the pre-hospital phase. Ambulance personnel play a vital role in providing initial assistance, requiring basic skills through Basic Pre-Hospital Life Support (BPHLS) training. The purpose of this study was to review the effectiveness of BPHLS training in improving the competence of ambulance personnel through a literature review. This study is a a systematic literature review based on PRISMA guidelines. Searches were conducted in PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar for articles published between 2018 and 2024. Of the 152 articles identified, 12 articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed narratively. The results of the study showed that most studies showed that BPHLS training improved the knowledge, skills, confidence, and behavior of ambulance personnel in handling emergencies. Simulation-based training methods were more effective than lectures. However, several studies reported a decline in skills within 6–12 months without refresher training, and the impact on patient clinical outcomes was still inconsistent. BPHLS training has been proven effective in improving the competence of ambulance personnel, but it needs to be conducted regularly, be standardized nationally, and be supported by quality facilities and instructors. It is recommended that there be periodic refresher training programs and integration of training into the education system and pre-hospital services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of family, school, and community environments on the religious and social behavior of students at State Islamic Senior High Schools (MAN) in Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency. These three environments are seen as complementary educational centers in shaping students’ spiritual and moral character. Using a quantitative approach with a causal-comparative design, this study involved 248 respondents selected through stratified proportional random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that all environmental variables had a positive and significant influence both partially and simultaneously. The family environment contributed 14.5% to students’ religious behavior and 13.7% to students’ social behavior. The school environment contributed 17.6% to religious behavior and 19.2% to social behavior, demonstrating the strong role of madrasas in fostering religious values and social interaction. Meanwhile, the community environment contributed the largest contribution, namely 20.8% to religious behavior and 20% to social behavior, emphasizing the role of the community as a space for practicing real morals. Simultaneously, the third environment explained 24.7% of the variance in students’ religious behavior and 28.2% in their social behavior. This finding confirms that character formation is inseparable from the synergy between family, school, and community. This research has significant implications for Islamic education management, particularly in strengthening collaboration between the third environment to achieve holistic, sustainable character development aligned with Islamic education principles.

Abstract

The Mon Ikeun Village area in Aceh Besar is experiencing a clean water crisis due to a prolonged drought, which has significantly impacted human needs and necessitates identifying alternative water sources. This study aims to determine groundwater potential in the area using the Electrical Resistivity Tomography method. Data acquisition was conducted along three survey lines, each 420 m long. The Wenner-Schlumberger configuration was employed, using 22 electrodes with a spacing of 20 m. Data processing was done using ResIPy software to generate 2D resistivity cross-sections representing the subsurface structure. The resistivity sections were interpreted by correlating them with regional geological data and secondary data from wells located near the study area. The results indicate that two different lithologies dominate the subsurface structure of the study area. The first is a conductive zone with resistivity values of ≤316.23 Ω.m, interpreted as alluvium composed of clay, sand, and gravel. The second is a resistive zone with resistivity values of ≥562.34 Ω.m, interpreted as bedrock composed of limestone. Based on the subsurface lithology, zones with groundwater potential are found in conductive areas with resistivity values ranging from 3.16 to 56.23 Ω.m, which are associated with water-saturated alluvial layers, particularly those dominated by clay and sand. From the 2D resistivity cross-sections analysis, line 3 shows the highest potential for groundwater exploration, with water-saturated layers occurring at both shallow and deeper depths, reaching up to 0–40 m. This study provides valuable information for water resource management in Mon Ikeun Village, especially in addressing future clean water shortages.
