AbstractThe mathematical representation ability referred to in this study is the ability to express mathematical ideas or ideas to solve a problem with various mathematical representations of visual forms (pictures) and verbal forms (writing).This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach which aims to describe systematically the ability of visual mathematical representations and the ability of verbal mathematical representations.The data collection technique in this study was carried out using essay. Test questions were given to student an grade VIII A at SMP Negeri 1 Mandor, where there were three groups, namely the upper, middle, and lower group. Students who will be interviewed are selected based on the representation ability test scores where only two students will represent for each group.The results showed that the ability of visual mathematical representation when given verbal form questions to answer indicators using pictures was in the percentage of students' average score 66.67% and the ability of verbal mathematical representation if given visual questions, for the answer indicator using words is in the percentage of the student's average score of 33.33%. Students still have difficulty with verbal representation if given a visual form. Keywords: visual representation, verbal representation and trangle material

This study aims to explain and describe the effectiveness of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model conducted in class VII SMPN 1 Sungai Raya. The method used in this research is descriptive-quantitative. The results obtained from this study are TGT type of cooperative learning is effective enough to be applied to the material integer count operations in SMPN 1 Sungai Raya this can be seen fromThe implementation of the teacher in managing cooperative learning type TGT is in the very good category with an average score of 3.73, the learning activities of students during learning using the type GI cooperative learning are in the active category with a percentage of 89.2%, the response of students to the application of cooperative learning type TGT is in the positive category and the learning outcomes of students have reached ketstrand classical because 81% of students have reached the KKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan pendidikan matematika realistik terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI dalam materi lingkaran di SMA Panca Setya Sintang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian one-shot case study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Panca Setya Sintang. Sementara sampel yang digunakan yaitu peserta didik kelas XI IPA 2 yang berjumlah 24 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data hasil belajar menggunakan teknik pengukuran dengan mmberikan tes soal essay dalam materi lingkaran kepada peserta didik. Untuk melihat kekonsistenan dalam pencapaian hasil belajar, maka setelah dua minggu kemudian diberikan tes tunda. Besar rata-rata nilai pada saat tes akhir adalah 53,82, sedangkan rata-rata nilai pada saat tes tunda adalah 55,56. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji t tes rata-rata satu sampel diperoleh nilai dan dengan taraf signifikan hal ini berarti maka diterima artinya tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara rata-rata nilai peserta didik pada saat tes akhir dan tes tunda. Maka terjadi kekonsistenan antara nilai tes akhir dan nilai tes tunda, hal ini berarti penerapan pendekatan pendidikan matematika realistik pada materi lingkaran berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didikKata Kunci : Pengaruh, Pendidikan Matematika Realistik, Hasil Belajar

This research aim to identify the elementary and junior high school mathematic concepts which included the funeral procession. The process of funeral procession that was researched included measuring and cutting the shroud, bathing the corpse, shrouding the corpse, praying the corpse, and burying the corpse. The method of this research is a qualitative, and the form of this research is a literature study. Then the data were collected using documents in the form of books, articles, and notes on the results of the funeral procession by the fardhu kifayah team of Ummu Al-Athiyyah Al-Anshoriyyah. Based on the Miles and Huberman analysis method, elementary and junior high school mathematical concepts are found in the funeral procession, namely rectangles, mixed arithmetic operations, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, number sequences, sets, linear inequalities of one variable, line segments, vertical lines, horizontal lines, parallel lines, perpendicular lines, point outside the line, 180 degree angel, and cuboids.

This article is the result of a qualitative descriptive analysis to describe and describe students' mathematical reasoning abilities in problem solving in class VIII G SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya. The research subjects were 32 students. Data collection tools are in the form of mathematical reasoning tests on statistical material, especially in the sub-material of data presentation and data concentration steps as well as interview guidelines. The results of data analysis showed that based on the category of upper, middle and lower level of reasoning ability, it was classified as moderate because there were 2 students (6.25%) in the upper level reasoning category, then there were 18 students (56.25). %) in the intermediate level reasoning category. , and 12 students (37.5%) were included in the lower-level reasoning category. Students with upper level abilities are able to fulfill indicators of applying numerical mathematics, check the validity of a contradiction, and provide reasons or evidence for the accuracy of the arrangement, students with intermediate abilities are able to meet indicators of applying numerical mathematics and provide reasons or evidence for the accuracy of settings, students with high level abilities bottom height can only meet the indicators of applying numerical mathematics.

This study aims to describe the talent of SMP Negeri 02 Banyuke Hulu class VII students who have field independent and field dependent cognitive styles in thinking mathematically and creatively about the subject matter. Descriptive qualitative is the method used in this research. Six seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 02 Banyuke Hulu were used as research subjects. Geft test to assess cognitive style and a description test consisting of three questions and three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, were used to analyze the data. The results showed that two students with field-independent cognitive style can achieve both indicators of fluency and flexibility, but one other student with the same cognitive style can only fulfill one indicator, namely flexibility. It is known that two students can fulfill three criteria of field dependent cognitive style, namely fluency, flexibility, and novelty. Two indicators namely fluency and flexibility can be met by one additional student who has a field dependent cognitive style. Thus students of grade 7 SMP Negeri 02 Banyuke Hulu with cognitive style field independent and field dependent have the ability to think creatively mathematically in the context of flat buildings. In working on description form problems there are still some difficulties students solve problems on the material of flat area.

In this study aims to determine the ability of mathematical literacy in the matter of equations and inequalities absolute value of one variable studied from high, medium and low self-esteem in students. The method used in this research is descriptive. The subjects in this study were students of class X IPA 6, totaling 33 students. The object to be studied is mathematical literacy in the matter of equations and inequalities of the absolute value of one variable studied from student self-esteem. The techniques used in data collection were questionnaires, mathematical literacy test questions and interviews. Students with low self-esteem cannot fulfill all indicators of mathematical literacy. Students who have moderate self-esteem, are able to understand mathematics based on concepts to describe mathematical problems into various contexts, are sufficiently capable of reasoning logically to solve mathematical problems. However, there are still those who have not been able to communicate it in the form of words or writing to predict and draw conclusions and have not been able to apply or practice based on concepts that have been understood as the basis for solving further mathematical problems. Students who have a high level of self-esteem are able to achieve all existing indicators.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kemampuan representasi matematis siswa SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap pada materi teori Pythagoras dengan menggunakan strategi visual, simbolik, dan verbal. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 36 siswa kelas X. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, laporan, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil tes, kemampuan representasi siswa perlu ditingkatkan dengan ambang batas 43% untuk kategori rendah. Kemampuan representasi visual siswa hanya 36%, sedangkan representasi verbal dan simboliknya jauh lebih tinggi, masing-masing sebesar 42% dan 50%. Mampu menjawab pertanyaan dengan jujur, tetapi terkadang mengalami kesulitan dalam mengenali dan memadukan representasi verbal, simbolik, dan visual. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan pemahaman teorema Pythagoras, perlu dilakukan peningkatan pemahaman dan komunikasi berbagai representasi matematika. Temuan ini menunjukkan perlunya peningkatan pemahaman dan penerjemahan antar berbagai bentuk representasi matematika untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep teorema Pythagoras.
