Abstract

This research aims to analyze ecocentrism values in various medical waste management efforts of Sawerading Hospital. This research is a field research, using qualitative methods related to actual problems. This research prioritizes philosophical reflection efforts on a problem, with an environmental ethics study approach using the theory of ecocentrism. This research began with data collection, grouping primary and secondary data, systematizing research data, and analyzing the results. Data analysis uses methodical elements such as description, interpretation, internal coherence, and confirmability. The results of this study are 1) Sawerigading Hospital's medical waste management efforts include the existence of a person in charge of managing hospital waste, the availability of hospital waste management facilities and equipment, the existence of liquid and solid waste management in accordance with laws and regulations, and regulated liquid quality standards and all of which have been described in the system, mechanism, and standard operating procedures for medical waste management, 2) the principle of partnership, the principle of dynamic balance, and the principle of diversity are contained in the system and work ethic of medical waste management at RSUD Sawerigading, which is also in line with the value of awareness and togetherness, the value of benefits and sustainability, and the value of responsibility for waste management by the community as well as local governments in the public service of South Sulawesi Province.

Abstract

Stakeholder involvement in tourism development is important in overcoming the limited resources of each actor. Kea-Kea natural tourist attraction in Mangolo Village, Latambaga Sub-district is one of the tourist attractions whose development involves various stakeholders. The purpose of this research is to identify stakeholders and the role of stakeholders involved and the development of Kea-Kea natural attractions. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study found that the actors involved in the development of tourism objects consisted of the Kolaka Regency Tourism Office and the Natural Resources Conservation Centre (BKSDA) of Southeast Sulawesi Province which were key stakeholders. Then the tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis), companies (business sector), and the community. Pokdarwis is a primary stakeholder while companies and the community are secondary stakeholders. The role of each stakeholder is very strategic in the development of tourism objects. The government and BKSDA play a role in preparing road infrastructure, marketing (promotion), and preserving the nature of tourist attractions. The business sector is involved in providing facilities and infrastructure services. Pokdarwis play a role in maintaining cleanliness, maintaining and repairing supporting facilities for tourist attraction locations, and collecting retribution. However, the contribution of stakeholders in the development of tourism objects has not been maximized due to budget constraints, and lack of stakeholder awareness of the importance of tourism development.

Abstract

In producing a product, the quality of the product is something that must be done by the company so that consumers will feel satisfied with the product that will be used by the customer. product quality will have an influence on customer satisfaction so that the use of the product will occur at a later time because there is satisfaction. In addition to product quality that will be felt by customers, it is also necessary to provide good service to customers so that customers feel well served by the company or service provider. respondents who serve as the population and research samples are customers Cafe Hans as many as 72 people. The results of the study explain that the effect of product quality on customer satisfaction is T count 91.9% where product quality really has a major influence on customer satisfaction at Hans Caf, the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction is T count 2.7% where product quality only gives a small contribution to customer satisfaction and the influence of product quality and service quality on customer satisfaction is F count of 50% where together product quality and service quality have an influence on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

PayPal, dompet digital dengan 429 juta pengguna global, tidak termasuk dompet digital yang umum digunakan di Indonesia sehingga perlu analisis sentimen masyarakat Indonesia terhadap layanan PayPal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sentimen masyarakat Indonesia terhadap PayPal berdasarkan teori bauran pemasaran 4P dan dapat menjadi referensi untuk peningkatan daya saing di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Decision Tree dengan kriteria gain ratio, information gain, dan gini index serta pengujian K-Fold Cross Validation menggunakan nilai fold=2, 3, 4, dan 5 untuk memproses 20.000 data ulasan Google Play Store. Hasilnya menunjukkan akurasi tertinggi pada pengujian 5-Fold Cross Validation dengan kriteria gain ratio memprediksi sentimen negatif terhadap aspek produk (97,33%), harga (99,68%), dan tempat (96,72%). Hal ini memberi PayPal peluang untuk memperbaiki kualitas ketiga aspek ini. Sementara itu, prediksi sentimen positif terhadap aspek promosi sebesar 62,18%, menandakan bahwa layanan promosi PayPal telah dinilai cukup baik.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of actors involved in the implementation of the Regent Regulation Number 7 of 2019. This research uses an inductive qualitative analysis. Inductive analysis is an approach that begins with field facts, analyzes them based on relevant theories and arguments, and ultimately yields a conclusion. The results show that in managing retribution at the Kea-Kea Nature Tourism Park, the Department of Tourism of Kolaka Regency has played a critical role as the Policy Creator, Coordinator, and Facilitator. However, there are obstacles to policy implementation, especially in setting and collecting retribution rates and providing adequate facilities. On the other hand, Tourism Awareness Group, as the Implementer, needs help complying with the provisions for depositing the collected retribution, mainly due to using some retribution funds for facility maintenance. Furthermore, traders, acting as Accelerators, must fully comply with retribution payment regulations. Therefore, it is recommended that the Department of Tourism of Kolaka Regency enhance its effectiveness by strengthening policy socialization and implementation oversight, particularly in setting and collecting retribution rates and providing adequate facilities. For the Natural Resources Conservation Center, improving cooperation with the Department of Tourism in supervising and enforcing retribution rules is crucial. Tourism Awareness Group is expected to understand and comply with the provisions for depositing collected retribution, including the appropriate use of retribution funds. State-owned enterprises are advised to strategically allocate Corporate Social Responsibility funds to support maintaining and enhancing Kea-Kea Nature Tourism Park facilities. Finally, traders are expected to enhance compliance with retribution payment regulations. These recommendations aim to collaborate better with related actors in retribution management, ultimately improving management quality and visitor experience at the Kea-Kea Nature Tourism Park.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk mempersiapkan SDM yang berkualitas kepada masyarakat terutama para bendaharawan atau yang bertanggung jawab terhadap keuangan Panti Asuhan Al Farhan Yayasan Darussalam agar bisa paham mengenai pembuatan pembukuan akuntansi dasar dengan baik. Pelaksanaan PKM dilakukan dengan memberikan Sosialisasi, arahan dan pengetahuan dalam penyusunan laporan keuangan yang baik dan benar sehingga para peserta dan bagian yang memegang pembukuan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dan kemahiran mereka dalam pembuat dan menyusun laporan keuangan secara baik dan benar sesuai dengan standar akuntansi keuangan. Dari hasil kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat maka dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: Adanya peningkatan pengetahuan untuk para peserta khususnya bendaharawan dan pihak yang bertanggung jawab laporan keuangan mengenai cara pembuatan, penyajian dan pelaporan laporan keuangan.

Abstract

Introduction: Glaucoma is a leading cause of irreversible blindness, and implantation of drainage devices is an effective treatment option for patients with advanced glaucoma. The purpose of this study was to investigate the success rate of glaucoma drainage devices implantation in Kariadi Hospital. Methods: This was an observational analytic study with a retrospective design. All patients who received Virna implantation between January 2020 and December 2022 were included. Intraocular pressure (IOP) examination was performed at the baseline and at the first day, at the seventh day, at the first month, and at the third month after surgery. The success rate was divided into three groups: complete success if IOP was <21mmHg without medication, qualified success if IOP was <21mmHg with medication, and failure if IOP was >21mmHg with medication. Results: This study included 42 patients (42 eyes) with an average age of 43.3 years. There were 16 male (38%) and 26 female (62%) patients in the group. From these patients, 11 (26.2%) had primary glaucoma and 31 (73.8%) had secondary glaucoma. There was a significant decrease in IOP from preoperative measurement (37.1±10.1mmHg) compared to IOP on the first day (13.0±6.0mmHg), on the seventh day (15.4±3.8mmHg), on the first month (18.2±4.4mmHg), and on the third month (23.4±8.9mmHg) after surgery (p<0.05). At three-month follow-up, the complete success was 14.29%, the qualified success was 50%, and the failure was 35.71%. Conclusion: Glaucoma drainage device implantation was found to successfully reduce IOP in patients with advanced glaucoma. The qualified success rate was higher than complete success rate, suggesting that some patients may require medication to achieve target IOP levels.

Abstract

Introduction and Objective: One of important roles in the pathogenesis of glaucoma is vascular condition. To enhance glaucoma management, the clinical assessment of ocular perfusion is required. The pupillary light reflex's afferent or efferent pathways may become impaired as a result of pupil cycle time (PCT) elongation. PCT is a simple objective method to measure the function of optic nerve, including glaucoma. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the connection between pupil PCT and peripapillary perfusion. Methods: A cross-sectional study from Kariadi Hospital included 26 eyes with angle closure glaucoma and 26 eyes of healthy patients. Complete ophthalmologic examinations, PCT measurements, and OCT peripapillary angiography were performed on each patient. Patients with history of drugs use that can affect pupillary reflexes such as barbiturates, methyldopa, anaesthetics, and antidepressant, and patients with history of glaucoma attack are excluded. The comparisons between the two groups were examined, with a p<0.05 indicating statistical significance. Results: The mean PCT of normal subjects was 943,4ms (882,4ms – 993,4ms) and angle closure glaucoma subject was 1789,5ms (1060ms – 4600ms). There were statistically significant difference of PCT value in angle closure glaucoma compared to normal subjects (P<0,05). Peripapillary flow index and peripapillary vessel density in closed angle glaucomatous eyes were lower than normal eyes (P<0.05). There is a significant relationship between PCT with peripapillary flow index and peripapillary vessel density. (P<0,05). Conclusion: In angle closure glaucoma, prolonged PCT associated with decreased peripapillary perfusion as shown by decreases in peripapillary flow index and peripapillary vascular density.

Abstract

Introduction: Glaucoma is one of the most frequent complications of vitrectomy surgery. It can cause a significant rise in intraocular pressure (IOP). Glaucoma surgery can be planned in medically uncontrolled glaucoma. Trabeculectomy and Glaucoma Drainage Device (GDD) implantation are the most frequent filtering surgeries used in these cases. This study aims to define the success rate of glaucoma surgery in secondary glaucoma after vitrectomy. Methods: This study is an analytical observational study with retrospective data collection held from medical records of patients with secondary glaucoma after vitrectomy who underwent glaucoma surgery in Kariadi General Hospital Semarang from 2020-2022. Surgical success defined by postoperative IOP reduced by>20% from baseline, with or without anti-glaucoma medication. Result: There were 16 eyes of trabeculectomy with 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), and 8 eyes of GDD implants. The mean preoperative IOP was 43.76+6.77 mmhg for trabeculectomy 5-FU, and 42.43+4.02 mmhg for GDD implant. IOP levels in both groups varied significantly after one day, one week, one month, and three months after surgery (p<0.05). The success rate for the trabeculectomy 5-FU group was 75% and the GDD implant group was 87.5% in 3 months. There was no statistically significant difference in the success rate between the trabeculectomy 5-FU and GDD implant groups (p=0.069). The complication were 18.75% and 25% for trabeculectomy group and GDD implant group, respectively. Conclusion: There was no significant difference in the success rate between trabeculectomy 5-FU and the GDD implant group. Both groups are viable for glaucoma surgery in secondary glaucoma after vitrectomy surgery.

Abstract

Kebebasan berekspresi bagi setiap individu adalah bentuk dari pelaksanaan hak asasi manusia. Kebebasan berekspresi adalah aktualisasi atas pemikiran seseorang terhadapsuatu hal yang dapat direalisasikan dengan cara demonstrasi sebagai bentuk pengungkapannya dan dengan penuh tanggung jawab. Perancangan poster dalam menanggapi permasalahan dari kebebasan anak dalam berekspresi merupakan suatu cara ampuh untuk menyalurkan tanggapan serta pemikiran kita kepada masyarakat. Poster merupakan salah satu media komunikasi yang berkembang saat ini. Poster dipakai untuk menyampaikan pesan atau informasi kepada masyarakat umumnya dicetak dan ditempatkan di ruang publik atau melalui media yang sekarang familiar yaitu media sosial. Tanda visual yang digunakan designer dalam poster ditujukan kepada masyarakat supaya masyarakat dapat mengerti pesan dan tujuan informasinya. Penggunaan tanda visual dari  poster yang mengangkat tema kebebasan anak-anak sangat menarik untuk ditelusuri, dibedah dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan semiotika. Semiotika adalah kajian ilmu mengenai tanda yang ada dalam kehidupan manusia serta makna dibalik tanda tersebut. Tanda visual yang akan diangkat untuk dianalisa dalam tulisan ini adalah sistem tanda dalam bentuk poster “Save Children” karya Maharani.
