Abstract

Melia azedarach L. and Leucaena leucocephala L. were two plant species that had attracted attention in phytochemical research due to their bioactive potential. However, research on the phytochemical characterization using Liquid Chromatography – High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry (LC-HRMS) of these two plants was still limited. This study was to identify and characterize the phytochemical properties of Mindi leaves (Melia azedarach L.) and Chinese Petai seeds (Leucaena leucocephala L.), as well as to conduct an in silico study. The research method involved reflux extraction using 70% ethanol as the solvent, qualitative phytochemical identification, and characterization using LC-HRMS. The compounds from LC-HRMS from each extract were analyzed for their bioactivity in silico. The results showed that Mindi leaves (M. azedarach L.) and  Petai cina seeds (L. leucochepala L.) contain alkaloids, saponins, phenolics, flavonoids, and tannins. The results of LC-HRMS analysis showed that 10 compounds were identified in each extract, and 3 of them were Prolylleucine, (3beta, 24R, 24'R)-fucosterol epoxide, and 2,3-Dihydro-1-benzofuran-2-carboxylic acid that is a compound found in both extracts. In silico results show that there is 1 compound in mindi leaf extract, namely Methyl isonicotinic, and 3 compounds from petai cina seed extract, namely trans-p-Coumaraldehyde, L-alanine, and 3-Buten-1-amine, which show pretty strong alpha-glucosidase inhibitory activity inhibits the target protein 3A4A. This research can be a reference for developing mini leaf extract and petai cina seeds as anti-diabetic candidates.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of taxpayer compliance and taxpayer awareness on the obligation to pay individual income taxes in Tasikmadu District. Taxes are the primary source of state revenue; therefore, compliance and awareness play a crucial role in optimizing tax collection. However, the compliance level of individual taxpayers in Tasikmadu District remains suboptimal, as many taxpayers have not fulfilled their obligations accurately and on time. This research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population consisted of individual taxpayers registered in Tasikmadu District, and a total of 400 respondents were selected using Slovin’s formula. Data were collected through questionnaires with a Likert scale and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of statistical software. The results indicate that taxpayer compliance has a positive and significant effect on the obligation to pay taxes. Taxpayer awareness also shows a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, compliance and awareness significantly influence individual tax obligations in Tasikmadu District. The adjusted R² value of 0.420 demonstrates that these two variables explain 42.0% of the variation in tax obligations, while the remaining 58.0% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the Directorate General of Taxes improve tax education and socialization programs, as well as expand the use of technology-based tax services to strengthen taxpayer compliance and awareness. Strengthening these aspects is expected to enhance tax revenue optimization and support sustainable national development.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal a collaborative accountability model in the governance of the Muhammad Cheng Ho Mosque through the integration of agency theory and Ta’awun values as the basis for ethical accountability. A ideographic configurative case study approach was used to explore patterns of relationships and accountability practices between mosque administrators, congregations, and companies as key actors in the religious non-profit accountability system. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews and documentation, then analyzed thematically to reveal the configuration of meanings that shaped accountability practices. The results show that accountability is carried out in two main dimensions: the formal dimension, through open financial recording and reporting to congregations and corporate partners; and the social-spiritual dimension, through the internalization of the values of trust, honesty, and the spirit of Ta’awun in mosque activities. The integration of these two dimensions gives rise to a collaborative accountability model that not only strengthens trust and moral legitimacy but also expands the function of accounting as a means of building social harmony. This study confirms that Islamic principles have the potential to harmonize modern governance mechanisms with spiritual ethics, while providing a foundation for the development of religious non-profit accountability practices that are locally relevant and adaptable to global demands.

Abstract

Background: Indonesia ranks second in the world in the number of tuberculosis (TB) cases, which continues to be a pressing health problem worldwide. Although OAT treatment regimens are accessible, their success depends on patient adherence during long-term therapy. Non-adherence, or non-compliance, is a complex behavioral phenomenon that leads to treatment failure, multidrug-resistant TB (MDR-TB), and increased mortality. Purpose: To examine factors influencing non-adherence in TB patients. Method: The study was conducted by conducting a literature review using a comprehensive search of PubMed and Google Scholar databases for articles published between 2020 and 2025. A total of 361 articles were found, and 16 relevant articles that met the inclusion criteria were selected for analysis. Results: The study showed that a multidimensional interaction of six main factors influences non-adherence: patient factors, therapy factors, disease factors, social factors, economic factors, and healthcare factors. Conclusion: Non-adherence in tuberculosis patients is caused by a combination of internal and external challenges, requiring a broad intervention approach that includes improving education, psychosocial support, and healthcare systems. Keywords: Non-Adherence; Tuberculosis; Treatment. Abstract

This study aims to systematically review the academic literature on currency redenomination as a domestic monetary policy and evaluate whether it represents an effective economic solution or merely a nominal adjustment. Using a systematic literature review (SLR) approach, the study analyzes peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2000 and 2025, indexed in Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Emerald, applying the PRISMA framework and clear selection criteria. Seven core articles were examined using qualitative thematic analysis. The findings indicate that currency redenomination does not directly change real purchasing power or macroeconomic fundamentals; rather, its success depends heavily on macroeconomic stability, institutional readiness, political legitimacy, and effective public communication. Under conditions of low and stable inflation, redenomination can improve transactional efficiency, accounting simplicity, and business productivity. At the microeconomic level, some studies report increased firm profitability, although the impacts are often context-specific. Psychologically, redenomination is associated with the money illusion effect, influencing price perceptions and consumer behavior, yet effective public education campaigns can significantly reduce these biases. Overall, currency redenomination should be understood as a strategic political–economic policy that may succeed under specific conditions rather than a universal solution to monetary challenges.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Palembang Parking Information Application System (SIAPP) as an e-Government initiative in urban parking services. Existing research on digital and smart parking systems has largely focused on their technical design and performance, with limited insight into how they are implemented and maintained within local government institutions. To address this gap, this study analyzes the institutional, organizational, and managerial factors that shape SIAPP's effectiveness. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, using in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis to capture the dynamics of implementation in practice. The findings indicate that SIAPP has facilitated a shift from manual to ICT-based parking management, thereby improving operational efficiency, transparency, and accountability, and increasing local government revenue. Digital record-keeping and information accessibility have strengthened oversight and helped reduce illegal parking practices. However, the results also reveal uneven implementation outcomes. Institutional and policy support emerged as key enabling factors, while limited human resource capacity and the continuation of partially manual administrative processes limited the system's performance despite adequate technological infrastructure. The study further demonstrates that SIAPP generates value for both the government and citizens, particularly through improved revenue control and increased service trust. These findings underscore that effective e-Government implementation in urban services depends not only on technological readiness but also on sustained institutional commitment, capacity building, inter-agency data integration, and public engagement, which offer relevant policy insights for urban digital governance.
