Abstract

Objective: to identify the effect of infra red on the reduction of pain in cephalgia.Methods: This studyused a pre experimental method with one group pre-post test design. This study conducted in RSUD Pasirian, Lumajang. 30 patients with cephalgia with age 34-75 years old.Study participant received twice a weektreatment sessions of of infra red. Outcome measures were a score of VASResults: 30 patients were 22 women and 8 men at the end of the treatment showed reducing pain in cephalgia. Normality test with Shapiro-wilk test, the data obtained from the treatment group are abnormal distributed. The test result with Wilcoxon obtainedP value = 0.000. If P < 0.005 then the hypothesis test is that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, this shows that there is a difference before and after treatment, so there is a difference between the pre-test and post-test.Conclusion: it can be concluded that the infra red given has an effect of reducing pain in cephalgia. A total of 29 respondents from 30 respondents or about 96.6% of patients with a medical diagnosis of cephalgia were proven to have an effect, namely a reduction in pain on the VAS scale after being given infrared.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This activity is a community service activity in the form of socializing the importance of digital literacy in today's era. The purpose of implementing this webinar activity is to add insight in the application of digital literacy for educators and students in the digital era. This community service was conducted by presentation by zoom online with question and answers sessions for participants. This activity was held on September 10, 2021 online using the Zoom Meeting Application. This activity is a series of activities organized by KOMINFO and this activity was carried out in Pematangsiantar city via online which was attended by approximately 150 participants from various professions such as students, teachers, students, and parents. Through the implementation of this activity, the researchers hope that participants can be helped, especially in terms of education in the digital era. Participants gained an understanding of the critical nature of digital literacy in the modern era, as information technology and digital media can have both positive and negative consequences. Assumptions are considered in order to provide socialization and guidance to teachers in order to help them improve and develop their digital literacy skills, ensuring that the transformation of educational development proceeds smoothly and in accordance with the times' dynamics.  Keywords: Socialization, Digital Literacy, Digital Culture, Educators, Students

Abstract

Tujuan di balik tinjauan ini adalah untuk memutuskan dampak likuiditas pada kebijakan dividen di mana profitabilitas menjadi variabel intervening pada perusahaan yang tercatat di BEI. Metode yang digunakan dalam eksplorasi ini adalah strategi kuantitatif dengan menentukan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Prosedur yang digunakan dalam pengujian menggunakan partial least square (PLS). Hasil pengujian terhadap likuiditas tidak berdampak pada profitabilitas, profitabilitas dan likuiditas tidak berdampak pada kebijakan dividen, dan profitabilitas tidak dapat menjadi variabel perantara untuk menghubungkan variabel likuiditas dengan kebijakan dividen.

Abstract

This study examines performance, indexicality and participants in TJK. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The theory used to analyze this study is the Duranti concept. The data in this study were obtained from observations, interviews and documentation from the time the TJK took place until it was finished. Data collection uses documentation techniques, namely the retrieval of data obtained through direct recording which includes three basic dimensions, namely space, actors and activities. Two additional dimensions are objects and feelings. The data analysis in this study uses the Miles & Huberman interactive analysis model. The results showed that the performance in the TJK was divided into: 1) before the TJK performance, 2) during the TJK, and 3) after the TJK took place.

Abstract

Chomsky argues that the language is too complicated to learn through passages, such as studying city rosters around the world. Since the early 1970s, theoretical disciplines and teaching methodologies have continuously sought to realize their symbiotic relationships. Teaching language within the framework of Chomsky's theory should give students an appropriate linguistic description with due regard to the student's intellectual level. Language is not only a device for capturing information from what it has learned, but in fact it returns to the student's mental and cognitive ability to complete the process.يرى تشومسكي بأن اللغة معقدة للغاية بحيث لا يمكن تعلمها من خلال المقاطع ، مثل دراسة قوائم المدن حول العالم. منذ أوائل السبعينيات ، سعت التخصصات النظرية ومنهجيات التدريس باستمرار إلى إدراك علاقاتها التكافلية. يجب أن تعطي لغة التدريس في إطار نظرية تشومسكي للطلاب وصفًا لغويًا مناسبًا مع إيلاء الاعتبار الواجب للمستوى الفكري للطالب. اللغة ليست فقط أداة لالتقاط المعلومات مما تعلموه ، ولكنها في الواقع تعود إلى قدرة الطالب العقلية والمعرفية لإكمال العملية.

Abstract

Due to the rapid elevation of technology, teachers are expected to integrate technology into the classroom to engage students considered digital natives. Digital storytelling is an alternative medium for teaching listening skills. This case study investigated students’ and teachers' voices of the implementation of digital storytelling using discovery learning. An in-depth interview, classroom observation, and open-ended questionnaire were applied to explore the implementation of digital storytelling using discovery learning. This case study involved a middle school English teacher and 30 students from a junior high school level in Bali, Indonesia. The qualitative data from students and teachers interviews and observations showed that the students perceived that digital storytelling is more engaging, interesting, and motivating to improve their listening skills. The most challenging activities rested on students' limited vocabulary during the communication stage using Bahasa Indonesia. The pedagogical implication of this study is that EFL teachers need to provide learners with relevant vocabulary to support learners' communication skills during the classroom session during the implementation of digital storytelling. Since learners' limited vocabulary becomes one of the hindering factors in teaching listening, it is recommended for a further researcher to address this issue.

Abstract

Learning in Kindergarten aims to develop some abilities possessed by children including oral communication ability, literacy and reading ability, listening ability and comprehension of command, writing ability, and ability to use literature. The gender gap remains ongoing issue in Indonesia. This paper presents evidence of gender differences in learning in differences in letter shape recognition to 4-5 year old children in which 30 children from two schools participated. This study using Quantitative research methods in comparative research. The result of this study indicates there are a difference between boys and girls aged 4-5 years in terms of recognizing and interpreting the symbols of letters in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Abstract

Objective:  To find out the implementation of Minister of Health Regulation 65/2015 regarding Physiotherapy Service Standards and Minister of Health Regulation 43/2019 regarding Health Centers (Puskesmas) in the East Java region Physiotherapy as a health worker is regulated in the Physiotherapy service standard at the Puskesmas. Health center regulations do not have physiotherapists.Methods: This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, aiming to get a general understanding of reality from the participant's perspective. through in-depth interviews with informants. Sampling is non-probability with the type of purposive sampling. The inclusion criteria were the Head of the City/Regency Health Office whose working area did not yet have physiotherapy services at the Puskesmas and was willing to be an informant. While the exclusion criteria were the Head of the City/Regency Health Office whose work area already had physiotherapy services at the Puskesmas and was willing to be an informant. Sources of data obtained from interviews with informants and secondary data through document studies. The interview included an understanding of the meaning of physiotherapy in relation to services at the Puskesmas. based on Permenkes 65/2015 and what is his opinion about the presence of physiotherapists in several health centers in East Java. Document studies were obtained from the laws and regulations concerning physiotherapy and Puskesmas. Results:  Most of the informants interpreted physiotherapy as health workers in referral services, namely hospitals and joined in rehabilitation services. Not all informants understand about physiotherapy services at the Puskesmas because in writing there are no physiotherapists in Permenkes 43/2019. Meanwhile, the understanding of rehabilitation is interpreted as secondary and even tertiary services. The services at the Puskesmas are primary services, which are more promotive and preventive. Informants are of the opinion that the presence of personnel in the Puskesmas depends on the policies of each region and also the needs.Addition of personnel at the Puskesmas has an impact on regional budgets and capabilities, besides there is no clear list of service activities.The study of the Permenkes 65/2015 document clearly states the existence of physiotherapy services at the Puskesmas, but in Permenkes 43/2019 it has not been clearly stated that there are physiotherapists.Conclusion:  The implementation of Permenkes 65/2015 concerning Standards for Physiotherapy Services, especially in Puskesmas in the East Java region is still very minimal, namely 62 out of 968 Puskesmas (6.4%). Permenkes 43/2019 regarding Puskesmas has not stated the presence of physiotherapists, so there is no synchronization of laws and regulations related to physiotherapy services.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan supervisi akademik dengan teknik observasi kelas dapat meningkatkan kompetensi menyusun RPP dan melaksanakan proses pembelajaran bagi guru kelas V SD Binaan Kecamatan Nguntoronadi, Wonogiri Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Subjek penelitian guru kelas V sebanyak 13 orang. Kondisi awal diperoleh kompetensi guru dalam menyusun RPP dari 13 orang belum ada yang mencapai nilai A dan baru 23% guru memiliki kompetensi yang baik dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: 1) Kompetensi guru dalam menyusun RPP mencapai kategori baik, yaitu sebanyak 13 guru dengan nilai rata-ratanya sebesar 87; 2)  Kompetensi guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran yang mencapai kategori baik, sebanyak 12 guru atau 92% dengan nilai rata-ratanya sebesar 86; 3) kompetensi guru dalam menyusun RPP dan melaksanakan proses pembelajaran yang baik  mencapai kategori baik, yakni sebanyak 13 guru atau 100% dengan nilai rata-ratanya sebesar 87.Kata Kunci: supervisi akademik, teknik observasi, RPP, pembelajaran AbstractThis Classroom Action Research aims to describe the application of academic supervision with classroom observation techniques that can improve competence in compiling lesson plans and carrying out the learning process for fifth grade teachers at the Elementary School assisted in Nguntoronadi District, Wonogiri Semester II for the 2018/2019 academic year. The research subjects for fifth grade teachers were 13 people. The initial condition is that teacher competence in preparing lesson plans from 13 people has not yet achieved an A grade and only 23% of teachers have good competence in carrying out learning. The results of this study are: 1) The competence of teachers in preparing lesson plans reached a good category, namely as many as 13 teachers with an average score of 87; 2) The competence of theachers in carrying out the learning process that reaches a good category, as many as 12 teachers or 92% with an average score of 86; 3) The competence of theachers in preparing lesson plans and implementing a good learning process reached the good category, namely as many as 13 teachers or 100% with an average score of 87.Keywords: academic supervision, observation techniques, lesson plans, learning

Abstract

Hijrah conception has experienced a shift of meaning between its concept in the Prophet's era and today. Hijrah is often associated with the use of niqob and radicalism. By wearing niqob as a means of hijrah, someone does not merely modify her fashion, but also her behavior. There is also an assumption that those who are not wearing niqob have yet to hijrah. This research aims to find out the concept of hijrah for women with niqob, including the background and the influence of the concept of hijrah on their religiosity. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research method. The data were collected from chats in a Niqober group, in which a discussion on hijrah was conducted. The conversations were captured, selected, sorted, classified, and displayed in tables. Then, the data were analyzed descriptively and iteratively. The results of this study indicate that today, hijrah has three concepts: a change in circumstance, a change in behavior, and a change in fashion. Wearing a niqob, as a form of hijrah, is influenced by some factors, such as the factors of partner, family, and environment. The concept of hijrah for Niqobers influences the meaning in religion. First, hijrah is symbolized with the use of niqob. Second, a woman who does hijrah by wearing niqob is considered to be radical. Third, hijrah using niqob means following the Arabic culture. This study suggests conducting an education related to the concept of hijrah that are believed by the Niqobers. To use niqob does not only mean hijrah, but also it is the Prophet's sunnah, and it is not obligated. Therefore, it cannot be assumed that women who do not wear niqob have yet to commit hijrah.
