Abstract

The lecturer certification policy has been implemented to enhance academic quality and professionalism in higher education. This study focuses on the implementation of the lecturer certification policy at STIT Al-Ihsan Baleendah and its impact on lecturers' professional practices. The objective is to gain an in-depth understanding of how certification is carried out and its contribution to improving educational quality. This research is grounded in bureaucratic decision-making theory, a systemic approach to public policy, and the concept of academic professionalism. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the certification policy has encouraged improvements in teaching readiness, involvement in curriculum development, and academic productivity. However, challenges persist, such as the dominance of one-way teaching methods and low motivation among lecturers to engage in research and community service. This study recommends strengthening institutional support, continuous professional development, and contextual evaluation of certification practices within Islamic higher education institutions.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka hadir sebagai bentuk perubahan kebijakan pendidikan yang menuntut adanya pergeseran paradigma dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran di tingkat sekolah dasar, khususnya dalam proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Meskipun begitu, pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka di lapangan tidak terlepas dari hambatan, baik dalam aspek kelembagaan maupun dalam budaya sekolah yang sudah mengakar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pelaksanaan kebijakan Kurikulum Merdeka dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di SDN Pelita Bakti, Kecamatan Pangalengan, Kabupaten Bandung, melalui pendekatan manajerial POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, dan Controlling). Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus,data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi langsung, serta telaah dokumen terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, dan perangkat pembelajaran lainnya yang terlibat. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa dari sisi perencanaan, sekolah telah menyusun program kerja secara kolaboratif meskipun pemahaman guru terhadap kurikulum belum merata. Dalam pengorganisasian, upaya pembentukan tim dan pelatihan internal telah dilakukan namun belum optimal. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, sudah mulai diterapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan proyek penguatan karakter pelajar Pancasila. Sementara dalam aspek pengawasan, refleksi mingguan dan supervisi berjalan, namun masih perlu penguatan instrumen dan tindak lanjut. Implementasi ini menunjukkan kemajuan, meski masih memerlukan dukungan kapasitas guru dan sarana yang memadai.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan instrumen utama dalam membentuk sumber daya manusia yang tidak hanya cerdas secara kognitif, tetapi juga berkarakter. Kebijakan Wajib Belajar 12 Tahun yang dicanangkan pemerintah Indonesia bertujuan untuk menciptakan masyarakat terdidik sekaligus membentuk karakter, salah satunya adalah kedisiplinan. Namun, implementasi kebijakan ini sering kali dihadapkan pada tantangan sosial-ekonomi dan kultural yang menghambat pencapaian tujuan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kebijakan Wajib Belajar 12 Tahun dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa di MA Pondok Quran Cilengkrang. Tujuan khususnya mencakup eksplorasi terhadap aspek perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kebijakan tersebut di lingkungan madrasah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa MA Pondok Quran Cilengkrang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MA Pondok Quran mengintegrasikan kebijakan wajib belajar ke dalam program pendidikan yang berorientasi religius dan karakter, dengan pendekatan manajemen berbasis pesantren. Perencanaan dilakukan secara sistematis melalui analisis SWOT, pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan sinergi antara program akademik dan pembinaan akhlak, sementara evaluasi dilakukan secara berkala melalui indikator kedisiplinan siswa seperti kehadiran dan kepatuhan terhadap aturan sekolah. Tantangan terbesar terletak pada kondisi sosial-ekonomi siswa non-mukim serta peran orang tua yang belum optimal. Kesimpulannya, implementasi kebijakan Wajib Belajar di MA Pondok Quran telah berjalan secara adaptif dan kontekstual. Meskipun terdapat kendala, pendekatan partisipatif serta integrasi antara pendidikan formal dan pengasuhan pesantren memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the policy of implementing artificial intelligence (AI) technology in improving the learning process in university environments, with a comparative study of the Industrial Engineering Study Program and the Islamic Banking Study Program of Universitas Islam Nusantara. The background of the study is based on the need for higher education to adapt to the development of digital technology, especially AI, in order to improve the quality, efficiency, and accessibility of learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a compare study method, examining regulations, implementation, and evaluation of AI policies through data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation studies of lecturers and students in both study programs. The results of the study indicate that the application of AI in higher education has great potential in improving learning personalization, administrative efficiency, and educational innovation. However, there are various challenges faced, such as limited infrastructure, lack of human resource readiness, and the absence of clear technical regulations regarding the use of AI, especially regarding ethics, academic integrity, and data protection. This study also found that the success of implementing AI policies is greatly influenced by the support of leaders, the readiness of lecturers and students, and the existence of clear ethical guidelines and regulations.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain data, explore and analyze the management of the English language extracurricular learning process to develop student rhetoric which includes planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, problems and efforts to improve them. This research was conducted in SMA and SMK Bani Masum Subang district with a qualitative approach and descriptive study method. The research technique used is observation, interview and documentation study. The results of this study indicate that the management of the learning process through English extracurricular activities to improve students' rhetoric, namely: 1) Planning has been carried out but in planning this planning is carried out personally and has not referred to applicable guidelines. 2) Organizing has been carried out and regulated by the teacher even though the organization is still not in accordance with the guidelines but has led to the applicable guidelines. In the process of learning English, giving a larger portion in the speaking aspect is a correct guideline, but in this study the results showed that the portion for the speaking aspect was still small. 3) Implementation has been in accordance with the plans that have been made, but there are still plans that have not been implemented properly such as the unrealized use of methods, media and the presence of teachers in class. 4) Evaluation has been carried out but there is little feedback in the next learning process. 5) problems that occur come from internal and external schools. 6) Improvement efforts have been carried out properly, one of which is by involving teachers in the regional English community, schools provide upgrades to teachers such as English language training and are given the authority to explore English learning management in extracurricular activities. The impact of the implementation of English extracurricular learning management to develop students' rhetoric is the creation of students who have active language skills properly and correctly.

Abstract

Higher Education has the function of developing capabilities in order to educate the nation's life in accordance with Law Number 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education. The aim of this research is to analyze and describe in depth through a field study of the quality manajement of midwifery clinical laboratories in increasing the competence of graduates (case studies of midwifery practice at Polytechnic Bhakti Asih Purwakarta and Stikes Kharisma Karawang. The research method in this dissertation used a qualitative approach. Data were collected using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation study. The data of this study were checked for correctness and reliability through the triangulation process. Based on the results of the research, the implementation process of the midwifery clinical laboratory practice learning at the Bhakti Asih Polytechnic of Purwakarta and Stikes Kharisma Karawang went well. The method taught to students when conducting laboratory practice simulations makes a positive contribution to student competence and graduate competence. Weak points that arise in the implementation of learning are limitations in the infrastructure and facilities in each institution, and practice supervisors are still lacking in clinical experience in the field so that manajement has an impact on the quality of midwifery clinical laboratory manajement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas kebijakan Peraturan Badan Gizi Nasional RI Nomor 2 Tahun 2024 yang berfokus pada penguatan kepemimpinan Kepala Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) melalui Pendidikan Dasar Militer (Diksarmil) di Pusat Pendidikan Infanteri. Kebijakan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas kepemimpinan dalam sektor gizi masyarakat, khususnya di wilayah terpencil. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, menggabungkan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Diksarmil meningkatkan kompetensi kepemimpinan melalui penguatan karakter, disiplin, dan daya tahan peserta. Namun, tantangan dalam pelaksanaan mencakup relevansi materi teknis dan keterbatasan sumber daya. Studi ini merekomendasikan evaluasi berkelanjutan terhadap desain kurikulum dan kolaborasi lintas sektor untuk meningkatkan efektivitas program. Pendekatan ini mendukung penguatan SDM dalam mendukung pencapaian tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya dalam mengakhiri kelaparan dan meningkatkan ketahanan pangan.

Abstract

Pendidikan dasar militer berperan strategis dalam membentuk prajurit yang kompeten secara teknis, mental, dan karakter, sejalan dengan tuntutan operasional lapangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi di Pusat Pendidikan Infanteri, dengan analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi strategi pendidikan dan pengajaran yang efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum berbasis kebutuhan lapangan, metode pengajaran interaktif, penggunaan teknologi pendidikan, serta pelatihan pengajar secara rutin mampu meningkatkan kualitas lulusan. Kendala utama seperti keterbatasan sarana, beban administrasi, dan tekanan psikologis peserta dapat diatasi melalui dukungan sistemik, pembaruan kurikulum, dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang adaptif. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan strategi integratif antara teori dan praktik, dengan evaluasi berkelanjutan, sebagai kunci peningkatan mutu pendidikan dasar militer.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi strategi pendidikan dan pengajaran dalam meningkatkan kinerja Institut Agama Islam Al-Zaytun Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, berfokus pada penerapan prinsip manajemen POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling). Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen, serta divalidasi melalui triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teori dan praktik melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan studi kasus mendorong pengembangan keterampilan praktis dan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Kurikulum yang mengadopsi e-learning dan blended learning memberikan pengalaman belajar yang fleksibel dan adaptif terhadap teknologi. Kapasitas dosen ditingkatkan melalui pelatihan pedagogis dan teknologi secara berkelanjutan. Evaluasi dilakukan secara sistematis dengan melibatkan umpan balik dari mahasiswa, dosen, dan mitra industri untuk menjaga relevansi kurikulum dengan kebutuhan pasar. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi pendidikan berbasis manajemen POAC efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja institusi melalui pembelajaran kontekstual, penguatan kompetensi dosen, serta kemitraan dengan industri. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan model manajemen pendidikan tinggi berbasis kebutuhan industri dan teknologi, serta merekomendasikan penguatan kebijakan pelatihan dosen dan evaluasi kurikulum secara adaptif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Children with Down syndrome are at heightened risk of sexual abuse due to cognitive, communication, and social limitations, while self-protection education remains insufficiently integrated into special education practice. This study aims to examine the systematic implementation of the roleplay method in enhancing self-protection awareness against sexual abuse among children with Down syndrome. A qualitative case study design was employed in two special schools in Indonesia. Participants included students with Down syndrome, teachers, school principals, and parents. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings indicate that structured roleplay, implemented through careful planning, collaborative organization, guided simulation, and continuous evaluation, significantly improved students’ ability to recognize private body parts, differentiate between safe and unsafe touch, assertively refuse inappropriate behavior, and identify trusted adults to report to. Repetition and contextual variation of scenarios facilitated behavioral internalization and increased student confidence. The involvement of teachers, school leaders, and parents strengthened the intervention's sustainability and supported skill transfer beyond the classroom. This study contributes theoretically by integrating experiential learning principles with instructional management in special education contexts, and practically by offering a structured, replicable model for self-protection education. Roleplay emerges as an effective pedagogical strategy for promoting safety awareness and protective competencies among children with Down syndrome.
