Abstract

Kebakaran dan bencana banjir sudah menjadi hal yang sering terjadi di kota Medan karena padatnya pemukiman dan penduduk karena kota Medan termasuk ke dalam kota metropolitan terbesar no. 4 di Indonesia. Perkembangan kota yang pesat membawa tantangan dalam aspek Kesiapsiagaan risiko kebakaran dan bencana banjir. Oleh karena itu, kesiapsiagaan Petugas Pemadam Kebakaran (Damkar) dalam melakukan penyelamatan serta bantuan kepada masyarakat saat kebakaran ataupun banjir terjadi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi strategi mitigasi yang diterapkan oleh Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran (Damkar) Medan Tuntungan dalam menangani kebakaran dan banjir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain peneitian deskriptif untuk mengkaji lebih dalam peran pemadam kebakaran dalam mitigasi kebakaran dan bencana banjir di Medan Tuntungan yang dilakukan pada pada tanggal 9 januari 2025 dengan informan sebanyak 6 orang, 1 orang sebagai informan kunci yaitu kepala upt pemadam kebakaran kec. Medan tuntungan, 2 orang informan dari petugas damkar, dan 3 orang lainnya adalah masyarakat kec.medan tuntungan. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa Damkar tidak terlibat langsung dalam bencana alam, karena kebakaran lebih sering disebabkan oleh kelalaian masyarakat. Damkar aktif dalam penyelamatan, evakuasi korban, dan pembersihan pasca-bencana, serta penting dalam pemulihan melalui sistem peringatan dini dan pelatihan masyarakat. Meskipun tidak memiliki program evakuasi sebelum bencana, Damkar membantu membersihkan pasca-banjir dan terlibat dalam proses evakuasi, sementara penyediaan makanan menjadi tanggung jawab BPBD. Tugas utama mereka mencakup pencegahan kebakaran dan edukasi masyarakat, dengan fokus pada pelayanan prima dan perlindungan masyarakat dalam situasi darurat. Peran Damkar sangat penting dalam mitigasi kebakaran dan banjir, serta perlunya peningkatan koordinasi antar instansi  dan edukasi kepada Masyarakat

Abstract

The learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at Muhammadiyah Elementary School Sumberejo, particularly in mathematics, remain relatively low. This is due to the use of learning models that lack variety and still rely heavily on the lecture method. Consequently, student engagement in the learning process is low. This study aims to implement the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on data presentation to improve learning outcomes for fifth-grade students at Muhammadiyah Elementary School Sumberejo. We employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) as the research method, involving 20 fifth grade students comprising 9 male and 11 female as the research subjects. Data were collected using written test and observation. The collected data were the analyzed using descriptive-comparative method. The results revealed a significant increase in learning outcomes, with mastery levels rising from 30% in the pre-cycle to 100% in cycle II. These findings suggest that PBL is an effective model for improving student engagement and learning outcomes, offering valuable insights for educators seeking to enhance mathematics instruction at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Diabetes melitus merupakan salah satu penyakit tidak menular dengan beban tinggi dan risiko komplikasi serius, sementara kemampuan self-management penyandang diabetes, khususnya terkait teknik injeksi insulin dan pencegahan komplikasi, masih sering terbatas di tingkat pelayanan primer. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas program RITME MANIS sebagai model self-management berbasis keluarga dan komunitas dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan penyandang diabetes melitus tipe 2 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Dlingo II. Penelitian menggunakan desain kuantitatif pra-eksperimen one-group pretest–posttest pada 30 penyandang diabetes yang tergabung dalam Prolanis. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner pengetahuan mengenai lima pilar penatalaksanaan diabetes, prinsip RITME MANIS, dan pencegahan komplikasi, serta lembar observasi keterampilan teknik injeksi insulin yang aman. Intervensi dilaksanakan selama tiga bulan melalui edukasi kelompok, pelatihan praktik menggunakan media skema rotasi dan injection pad, diskusi terarah, konseling, serta pemantauan kesehatan berkala. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan proporsi peserta dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan baik dari 70% menjadi 85% setelah intervensi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa program RITME MANIS efektif memperkuat self-management, terutama pada aspek teknik injeksi insulin dan kewaspadaan terhadap komplikasi, serta berpotensi diimplementasikan secara operasional di layanan primer dengan keterbatasan sumber daya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the internal and external efficiency of educational institutions through the Value for Money approach at SDN Jombor, Jumo District, Temanggung Regency. Value for money serves as a performance evaluation model that focuses on three leading indicators: economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in managing educational resources. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, and analyzed descriptively. The findings indicate that the school has attempted to implement the principles of economy in budget management, efficiency in the use of human and material resources, and effectiveness in achieving educational objectives. However, several challenges remain, such as the lack of teacher training and limited internal supervision. The novelty of this study lies in its application of the Value for Money framework within the context of public primary schools, a context that is still rarely explored empirically. This research makes a theoretical contribution to the development of value-based evaluation models in educational management and a practical contribution to formulating policies that enhance transparency, accountability, and the quality of education services at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The problem of child nutrition in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, remains a serious issue due to the triple burden of malnutrition. Although Indonesia has made progress in reducing malnutrition rates, challenges persist in addressing stunting, undernutrition, and childhood obesity. Socioeconomic factors and unhealthy dietary patterns further exacerbate these conditions. Sustainable nutrition education in schools, implemented through green canteen initiatives, serves as a strategy to introduce healthy eating habits from an early age. This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the national program Asta Cita, where sustainable nutrition education contributes to strengthening children’s food security. This study aims to explore initiatives for implementing green canteens in primary schools as a means of providing healthy food and promoting sustainable nutrition education to enhance students’ food security. A qualitative approach was employed with data obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed through reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that green canteens contribute to enhancing students’ food security by fostering healthy eating habits and improving nutrition literacy. Furthermore, the success of the program depends greatly on the involvement of schools, teachers, students, and parents. These findings reinforce the strategic role of elementary schools as key agents in promoting food security and sustainable nutrition education at the local level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan gadget terhadap prestasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar berdasarkan kajian literatur dari berbagai penelitian terdahulu. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data dari artikel dan jurnal ilmiah terkait. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan gadget memiliki dampak positif dan negatif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Dampak positif muncul ketika gadget digunakan secara terarah dan edukatif, sebaliknya, penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan atau tanpa pengawasan dapat menurunkan konsentrasi, mengganggu interaksi sosial, memicu kecanduan digital, serta menurunkan prestasi akademik. Kurniawati (2020) menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh gadget terhadap prestasi belajar siswa berkisar sekitar 56%, menegaskan bahwa gadget memiliki potensi signifikan jika dimanfaatkan secara bijak. Berdasarkan temuan ini, penelitian menekankan pentingnya peran guru, orang tua, dan sekolah dalam mengarahkan dan mengawasi penggunaan gadget.

Abstract

Pendidikan dasar masih menghadapi permasalahan berupa kesulitan siswa dalam memahami materi pelajaran dan menyelesaikan tugas sekolah secara mandiri akibat keterbatasan pendampingan belajar di rumah. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman akademis, motivasi belajar, dan kepercayaan diri siswa sekolah dasar, khususnya kelas 6 SD, melalui program bimbingan belajar. Program dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan bimbingan belajar dengan pendekatan interaktif dan menyenangkan yang melibatkan pendampingan langsung dalam memahami materi dan mengerjakan tugas sekolah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman materi, motivasi belajar siswa, serta penguatan hubungan sosial antara pendamping, siswa, dan masyarakat. Kebaruan kegiatan ini terletak pada integrasi pendampingan akademik dengan penguatan motivasi belajar dan keterlibatan sosial masyarakat dalam lingkungan pendidikan desa. Program ini berimplikasi pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dasar dan mendorong kesadaran masyarakat untuk berperan aktif dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran anak di lingkungan pedesaan. Elementary education still faces challenges in students' understanding of subject matter and completing assignments independently due to limited home-based learning support. This community service activity aims to improve academic understanding, motivation, and self-confidence in elementary school students, particularly sixth-grade students, through a tutoring program. The program is implemented through tutoring activities with an interactive and enjoyable approach that involves direct assistance in understanding the material and completing school assignments. The results of the activity show an increase in material understanding, student learning motivation, and the strengthening of social relationships between tutors, students, and the community. The novelty of this activity lies in the integration of academic mentoring with strengthening learning motivation and community social involvement in the village educational environment. This program has implications for improving the quality of elementary education and encouraging community awareness to play an active role in supporting children's learning processes in rural environments.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of educational supervision in improving learning quality based on previous research findings. A library research approach was employed by analyzing academic books, national and international journal articles, and other relevant studies. Data were analyzed using content analysis through the stages of data reduction, organization, and synthesis. The findings indicate that educational supervision functions as an effective professional development mechanism to enhance teachers’ pedagogical competence, particularly in lesson planning, instructional implementation, and learning evaluation. Supervision that is systematically planned, collaboratively implemented, and continuously followed up encourages reflective teaching practices and supports ongoing improvement in classroom instruction. The effectiveness of supervision is influenced by supporting factors such as leadership commitment, supervisor competence, teachers’ openness to feedback, and a collaborative school culture, while inhibiting factors include time constraints, administrative workload, and insufficient follow-up. Therefore, educational supervision plays a strategic role in improving learning quality when it is positioned as a reflective and sustainable professional development process rather than merely as an administrative control activity.

Abstract

Ketahanan pangan berbasis komunitas merupakan salah satu pendekatan strategis dalam menjawab tantangan ketersediaan, akses, dan keberlanjutan pangan di tingkat lokal. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membangun ketahanan pangan melalui sinergi antara akademisi dan Rumah Mu’allaf Sukoharjo sebagai upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berkelanjutan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan pada 22 Nopember 2025 dengan melibatkan 35 peserta yang merupakan anggota komunitas Rumah Mu’allaf Sukoharjo. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan, pendampingan, diskusi partisipatif, serta praktik pemanfaatan potensi lokal dalam pengelolaan pangan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai pentingnya ketahanan pangan, keterampilan dalam pengelolaan sumber daya pangan secara mandiri, serta tumbuhnya kesadaran akan nilai kolaborasi antara komunitas dan akademisi. Sinergi ini tidak hanya memperkuat kapasitas individu dan kelompok, tetapi juga mendorong terciptanya kemandirian pangan, peningkatan kesejahteraan ekonomi, dan ketahanan sosial masyarakat. Dengan demikian, program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pengembangan ketahanan pangan berbasis komunitas yang berkelanjutan dan dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain. . Abstract Community-based food security is a strategic approach to addressing challenges related to food availability, access, and sustainability at the local level. This program aims to strengthen food security through synergy between academics and the Rumah Mu’allaf Sukoharjo as an effort toward sustainable community empowerment. The activity was conducted on November 22, 2025, involving 35 participants from the Rumah Mu’allaf Sukoharjo community. The methods applied included counseling sessions, mentoring, participatory discussions, and practical activities focused on utilizing local potential in food management. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding of the importance of food security, enhanced skills in independent food resource management, and increased awareness of the value of collaboration between communities and academic institutions. This synergy not only strengthens individual and group capacities but also promotes food self-reliance, economic empowerment, and social resilience. Therefore, this program is expected to serve as a sustainable model for community-based food security development that can be replicated in other regions. Abstract

Missing values are one of the main problems in financial data processing, especially in microcredit data. The presence of incomplete data can cause bias, disrupt variable distribution, and reduce the performance of classification models in determining creditworthiness. This study aims to compare two imputation approaches, namely Simple Imputation (median for numerical attributes and mode for categorical attributes) and the MICE (Multiple Imputation by Chained Equations) Method, in an effort to reduce bias due to missing values and improve classification prediction performance. The dataset used is Loan Payments Data from Kaggle, which contains 500 rows of data and 11 attributes, namely Loan_ID, loan_status, Principal, terms, effective_date, due_date, paid_off_time, past_due_days, age, education, and Gender. After the data cleaning process, outlier handling, and imputation using both methods, the data was predicted using two classification models, namely Logistic Regression and Random Forest. Model performance was evaluated using the Accuracy and AUC (Area Under the ROC Curve) metrics. The results showed that the MICE method produced higher and more stable performance compared to Simple Imputation. Logistic Regression increased from an accuracy of 66.67% to 82.00%, and AUC from 71.02% to 95.03%. The Random Forest model on Simple Imputation data achieved 100% accuracy and 100% AUC, but these overly perfect values potentially indicate overfitting, a condition where the model memorises specific patterns in the training data and is less able to generalise. On the MICE imputation data, Random Forest still achieved high performance with an accuracy of 98.00% and an AUC of 99.55%, which is considered more realistic and stable. These findings indicate that the MICE method is more effective in reducing bias due to missing values and improving the reliability of microcredit risk classification results.
