Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of the Quizizz application on the English learning outcomes of students at MTs. DDI Enrekang. The population of this study was 34 grade VIII students at MTs. DDI Enrekang selected as samples using total samples. This study is quantitative with a pre-experimental one group method. From the output obtained the average pre-test score of students is 47 while for the post-test is 74. The results of the average post-test scores of students are included in the good category. Then if seen from the t-count> t-table which is 13.122> 1.692 then there is a significant influence between variable X on variable Y. So it can be concluded that Ha is accepted while Ho then in this study there is a significant influence in the implementation of the Quizizz application can improve students' English learning outcomes at MTs. DDI Enrekang. For authors who want to conduct similar research on students' English learning outcomes, it is expected to use the latest version of the Quizizz application.

Abstract

This study investigates linguistic complexity and multimodal strategies in student presentations, aiming to enhance understanding of effective communication in educational settings. The research employs a qualitative approach, analyzing verbal and non-verbal features from video recordings, interviews, and presentation materials of seventh-semester students. Results indicate a wide range of linguistic abilities, with vocabulary diversity and sentence complexity varying significantly among participants. Multimodal strategies, particularly the integration of verbal, visual, and gestural elements, were found to significantly enhance audience engagement. Challenges such as anxiety, language barriers, and technical difficulties were identified, with strategies like peer practice and feedback proving beneficial. The study highlights the importance of targeted support and technical training to improve presentation skills. These findings contribute to the existing knowledge by emphasizing the value of multimodal communication and suggesting practical approaches for educators. Future research could explore skill development over time and the impact of multimodal strategies in diverse educational contexts.

Abstract

The objective of this research was intended to know whether or not using outdoor learning strategy can improve the students’ writing skill at SMA Negeri 1 Maiwa Kabupaten Enrekang. This research applied quasi experimental method with one class of experimental group and one class of control group. The researcher used pre-test and post-test in collecting data. The research population was the students of tenth grade they were X.1 class and X.2 class consist of 46 students, so the researcher took random sampling technique. The data were analyzed by finding the mean score. For collecting the data, the researcher used one instrument namely descriptive writing test to measure the students’ writing ability. The result of this research showed that the student’ writing description was low classification in pre-test with the mean score 64.6 for experimental class and the mean score of control class was 60.8, and it was average categorized. However, after doing the treatment through outdoor learning strategy they got good classification for Experimental group and still average classification for control group in post-test; their mean score had increased up to 78.4, for Experimental and 69.9 for control group. The data was analyzed by using t-test and the result showed that the t-test value 4.037 was higher than t-table value 2.021. It meant that there was a significance difference of students’ writing ability before and after the treatment through the application of outdoor learning. It concluded that outdoor learning strategy can be used in improving writing description of the students.

Abstract

Pengoptimalan nilai-nilai keagamaan dapat dilaksanakan dengan cara apapun dan kapanpun, salah satunya dengan cara belajar malam. Belajar malam yang diadakan oleh mahasiswa KKN adalah sebuah kegiatan pembelajaran yang didalamnya bukan hanya tentang pembelajaran saja namun juga ada penanaman nilai-nila agama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kegiatan belajar malam dalam mengoptimalisasikan nilai-nilai keagamaan anak-anak desa Cakru. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menjadikan Mahasiswa KKN didesa Cakru sebagai subjek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang kemudian dianalisis untuk mendaptkan kesimpulan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa: Pelaksanaan kegiatan Belajar Malam didesa Cakru dilaksanakan dengan mekanisme yang telah ditentukan yaitu perencanaan, persiapan, dan pelaksanaan kegiatan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini mempunyai rentetan kegiatan yaitu Pemberian Motivasi, penambahan wawasan nilai keagamaan, pemberian nasehat, pembelajaran tahsin bacaan, mengaji bersama, mengajarkan ilmu agama, Pelatihan Adzan, Pelatihan Imam, Pelatihan Sholat berjamaah dan lain-lain Kata Kunci: Optimalisasi, Nilai-nilai Keagamaan, Belajar Malam

Abstract

Pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKN) seringkali terlalu fokus kepada proses produksi, sehingga kurang diimbangi dengan pemasaran dan promosi, menjadikan sebuah kendala dalam melakukan penjualan hasil produksinya. Sehingga perlu untuk diadakan sebuah pelatihan yang bertujuan untuk membuat media promosi sederhana dengan aplikasi canva bagi pengrajin khususnya di desa Tabalong Mati. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian library research dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan berbagai teori yang berhubungan dengan judul penelitian dan survei lapangan dengan melaksanakan pelatihan privat yang membahas tentang "Pelatihan Membuat Media Promosi Sederhana Dengan Aplikasi Canva Bagi Pengrajin Di Tabalong Mati ". Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunakan aplikasi canva ini memberikan hasil yaitu meningkatnya pengetahuan dan ketrampilan dalam menggunakan aplikasi Canva untuk membantu membuat desain grafis serta membawa dampak positif karena masyarakat merasakan manfaat penggunaan aplikasi Canva dalam menunjang promosi dan pemasaran kerajinan anyaman di desa Tabalong Mati.

Abstract

In an ever-evolving digital age, technological transformation has become a key driver of change in the global economic landscape. This research investigates the linkage between economic growth and business strategy in the digital era, taking into account the impact of digital technology on various economic sectors. Through in-depth analysis, this article outlines fundamental changes in consumer behavior, production patterns, and business strategies that have emerged along with technological advancements. We highlight the importance of adaptation and innovation in the face of the challenges presented by the digital age, taking into account the use of data and analytics, digital transformation, and digital platform integration. Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease characterized by elevated blood glucose levels. Approximately 422 million people worldwide suffer from diabetes, with a high prevalence in low- and middle-income countries. According to the 2018 consensus of the Indonesian Endocrinology Association (PERKENI), the prevalence of diabetes in individuals aged ≥15 years is 2%. This research is a descriptive retrospective study with a cross-sectional approach aimed at describing the characteristics of diabetic foot ulcer patients in the outpatient unit. Data was obtained from the medical records of Ibnu Sina Hospital, with a sample size of 88 patients. Based on the research findings, diabetic foot ulcers are more commonly found in women (61.4%), as well as in individuals with normal nutritional status (55.7%) and those in the hypertension grade 1 group (58.0%). Most patients have a final education level of elementary school or equivalent (44.3%) and work as housewives (40.9%). The majority of diabetic foot ulcer patients are from the late elderly age group (56–65 years) and are female. Most of the patients had normal nutritional status, grade 1 hypertension, an elementary school or equivalent education, and worked as housewives.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa mempunyai banyak sekali metode dengan tujuannya masing-masing. Metode adalah cara yang digunakan untuk mencapai suatu tujuan, semakin baik metode yang digunakan maka akan semakin mempengaruhi hasil dari tujuan. Sehingga, metode ini menjadi unsur yang sangat penting dalam keberhasilan pengajaran. Keberhasilan pembelajaran bahasa Arab juga tergantung bagaimana pendidik (guru) memilih metode yang tepat dalam pembelajarannya. Salah satu metodenya adalah metode mubasyarah, penerapan metode mubasyarah bisa dikatakan tepat dan efektif ketika digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab karena tujuan dari metode mubasyarah tersebut agar peserta didik terampil berbicara dalam bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan fokus pada studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data berfokus pada observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penerapan metode mubasyarah dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Madrasah Aliyah Darul Inabah Barabai: (1) penentuan metode pengajaran dengan mempertimbangkan empat aspek seperti tujuan pembelajaran, materi, karakteristik belajar siswa dan fasilitas yang tersedia. (2) perencanaan pembelajaran dengan menyiapkan RPP sebelum pembelajaran untuk memandu jalannya pembelajaran. (3) langkah-langkah penyajian metode mubasyarah dengan memperhatikan karakteristik metode.
