Abstract

Abstract: One of factor that influence low students achievement that was students hard to understand in science subject. Students didnt understand the concept of the subject. Thats why the author need to did the research by Problem Based Learning (PBL). This model be able to make student built their own knowledge, increase activity, increase the independent, systematic thinking, logic and accurate for acquire ability to solve the problem in a rational manner. The main purpose of this research was for identify increase students achievement science between student who got Problem Based Learning (PBL) and student who got conventional learning. The research method used a quasi-experimental which divide 2 classes, experiment class and control class. This research was done in SDN 179 Pekanbaru between class Vb students as a control and class Vc students as a experiment. Data research was analyzed by Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with degree of freedom α = 0,05. The result of analysis data, in experiment class got average pretest 42,2 became 50,2 in a average posttest. and in the control class got average pretest 39,1 became 46,13 for average posttest. The result of this research showed that there was different average from both of classes but based on statistic there was no significant difference toward increase students achievement science between students who got Problem Based Learning (PBL) and students who got conventional learning.Key Word: Problem Based Learning, Student’s Achievement.

Abstract

Abstract : the results of observation by the author on the study site, it can be seen that the learning outcomes IPA fourth grade students of public school 025 Tambusai yet reached KKM predetermined school is 75, where 32 students only 14 students who reach KKM predetermined with a percentage of 43.750, while 18 people or 56.25% of students still scored below the KKM has been assigned schools, with an average value of 67.66. Instrument research include syllabi, lesson plan, student worksheets. Results of student learning activities and the activities of teachers. Results of the study, showed the presence of peningkatanrata average student learning outcomes, where the base score, an average of only 66.67 student learning outcomes at the end of the first cycle increased to 77.03 an increase of 10.36 points, or 15.54%, and the second cycle into 83.13 with an increase of 16.46 points or 24.69%. Improving student learning outcomes in the classical style, in which the base score is the percentage of student learning outcomes classically produced is 43.75%, in the first cycle increased to 65.63% occurred an increase of 21.98%. Then on the second cycle increased to 93.75% with peningkatar, amounting to 28.12. Increased activity of the teacher in learning, in which the first cycle of the first meeting of the percentage of teacher activity 62.50%, and at the second meeting rose to 70.00, an increase of 7.50%. In the second cycle teachers' meeting three activities increased to 82.50% an increase of 12.50%, and the fourth meeting rose to 97.59, an increase of 15.00%. Increased activity of students, where in the first cycle of the percentage of the first meeting, the student activity only 55.00% and in the second meeting increased to 72.50%. tedadi an increase of 17.50%. Then the second cycle of the third meeting of the percentage of students learning activity increased to 80.00%, an increase of 7.50% compared with the previous meetings, and at the fourth meeting of student learning activities also increased to 95.00% with an increase of 15.00%. the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) to improve learning outcomes IPA fourth grade students in public primary schools 025 Tambusai Rokan Hulu can improve learning outcomes IPA.Key Words : Cooperative Learning Model Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD), IPA Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in social studies in the subject matter of buying and selling activities within the home and school, with the application of role playing learning model in the third-grade students of SDN 183 Pekanbaru. The low learning outcomes third grade students of SDN 183 Pekanbaru in learning social studies is caused the teacher not applying the appropriate learning model in presenting the material. Making it difficult for students to understand the material presented teachers. The subjects were students of class III student with a numbers are all 38 people consisting of 14 men and 24 women. Parameters measured were the activities of teachers, student activities and student learning outcomes. The data were analyzed descriptively. Results of data analysis obtained by the percentage of the activity of teachers at the first meeting of the first cycle of 75% with the good category, the second meeting of the first cycle of 77.8% with the good category and at the first meeting of the second cycle percentage teacher activity 86.1% with a very good category, the second meeting of the cycle II percentage teacher activity which was 88.9% with very good category. At the first meeting of the percentage of student activity 61.1% with the good category, the second meeting of the first cycle is 77.8% with the good category and at the first meeting of the second cycle the percentage of student activity 80.6% with a very good category, the second meeting of the second cycle, namely 86.1% with very good category. And the score of students in the classical completeness basis is 39.5% (not complete), the first daily test classical completeness of students was 81.6% (completed), and the second daily test classical completeness students was 92.1% (completed). Based on this study concluded that the application of role playing learning model can increase student IPS learning outcomes.Keywords: Role Playing Learning Model, IPS Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted with the aim of improving PKn learning outcomes by implementing the role playing learning model for second grade students of SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru. The low yield was due to the students’ learning during the teacher teaches rely on the lecture method. The learning model resulted in a lack of interest and motivation of students in PKn subjects, because the learning process is dominated by teachers and low student involvement in learning. This study was conducted in 136 SDN Pekanbaru in the second semester of the academic year 2014 / 2015. This classroom action research was conducted in SDN 136 Pekanbaru. As the subject of this research were students of class II SDN 136 Pekanbaru of students 41 consisting of 24 men and 17 women. This research was conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data analysis techniques implemented are the activities of teachers, students’ activity based on observation sheets, and student learning outcomes based on the UH each cycle. Result of learning using role playing learning models have increased from a base score to the first cycle and into the second cycle, in which the first cycle in the classical completeness obtained for 75.6% and in the second cycle increased to 95.1%. Improved learning outcomes obtained in the first cycle was 18.5% and the cycle II of 23.9%. Increased student learning outcomes are influenced by the activities of teachers and students in the learning process is getting better. In the first cycle of activity the teacher and student activity first meeting acquire enough categories, while the second meeting increased the very good categories. Furthermore, on the second cycle of activity of teachers and students’ activity is increasing so it got very good category. The conclusion of this research is the application of role playing learning model can improve student PKn learning outcomes of class II SDN 136 Pekanbaru on the material deliberations.Keywords: Role Playing Learning Model, PKn Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based by the problem of grade 5 students in writing.In writing letters students often make a mistake. Some mistake was in writing letterswhich is the procedure of writing capital letters. Students often make a mistake in thebeginning of a sentence, people’s name, important places, job title, and essay’s title.This is the problem that often found in teaching writing at school. This research aims todescribe and analyze the understanding of grade 5 students of SD Negeri 136Pekanbaru in using capital letters. The research method is using descriptivequantitative research methods with subjects all of grade 5 SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaruwith the number of 120 students. The data collection techniques are using test, with aresearch instrument that is the understanding of using capital letters as many as 36questions. Based on the research results, there are 12 students that were in an excellentcategory 10%, 20 students in a good category 16.67%, 40 students in sufficientcategory 33.33%, and 48 students in worse category 40%. Overall, students gainunderstanding of 55.69% with sufficient category. This illustrate that understanding thegrade 5 students of SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru in understanding capital letters issufficient.Key Words: Understanding, capital letters

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the lack of science learning outcomes of students with an average grade 69.47. Forms of this research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is consist of two cycles whose implementation started onFebruary 15 until March 5, 2016 with the subject amounted to 38 students consisting of 23 male students and 15 female students. This study aims to improve learning outcomes fifth grade science students at SDN 112 Pekanbaru through the application of learning probing prompting techniques, this study consisted of learning tools and data collection instruments. Data analysis technique used is the analysis of the activity of teachers and students and analysis of student learning outcomes. Analysis techinque of data on the activities of teachers and students is based on the observation sheet during the implementation of the action. While the data analysis of student learning outcomes demonstrate mastery of student learning outcomes. Based on the analysis of activity observation sheet teachers and students evidently the activities of teachers and students has increased at every meeting. Teachers activity with the application of learning techniques probing prompting at the first meeting is 57,14% (sufficient categories), and the second meeting of the first cycle is 75% (good categories). In the second cycle, the activity of teachers at the first meeting amounted to 85,71% (the excellent category), and the second meeting amounted to 96,43% (excellent category). Activities of students at the first meeting of the first cycle is 53,57% (sufficient category) and the secondmeeting of 78,57% (both categories). In the second cycle, the student activity at the first meeting is 85,71% (excellent category), the second meeting amounted to 92,86% (excellent category). Science learning outcomes of students before the application of learning techniques probing prompting has an average value of 69.47, after the application of learning techniques prompting probing average student learningoutcomes increase in daily tests (UH I) became 76,76 with a percentage increase of 10, 49% and at the second daily test (UH II) average student learning outcomes increased to 85,78 with the percentage increase of 23,48%. Based on this it can be concluded that the application of the probing prompting learning techniques could improve the learning outcomes fifth grade science students at SDN 112 Pekanbaru.Keywords: probing promptin techiques, science learning outcomes

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research is motivated because of the low results of fourth grade students to learn science, with the average obtained is 69.36. This research is a classroom action research (PTK), which consists of two cycles, held on second semester of 2015/2016. These research subjects are 39 students. This study aims to improve learning outcomes IVA grade science students of SD Negeri 183 Pekanbaru by applying the learning model Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Satisfaction (ARIAS). The research instrument consists of learning tools and data collection instrument. Data analysis technique used is the analysis of observation sheets and student learning outcomes. Mechanical analysis of data on the activities of teachers and students is based on the observation sheet during the implementation of the action. Data analysis showed completeness of student learning outcomes of student learning outcomes, the frequency distribution for the highest value range and improving student learning outcomes. Based on the analysis of the observation sheet activities of teachers and students saw an increase include: the activities of teachers in the first cycle reaches 70%, the second cycle is 95% while in the student activity cycle I reached 65%, the second cycle reaches 95%. Analysis of the data showed an increase in student learning outcomes include: mastery learning in the first cycle 19, the second cycle 32, the frequency distribution for the highest value range for each of the first cycle of 48.72%, 82.05% second cycle. This indicates that the application of learning models ARIAS can improve learning outcomes IVA grade science students of SD Negeri 183 Pekanbaru.Keywords: model ARIAS, learning outcomes IPA

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to improve IPA learning outcomes in IPA of student through the application inquiry learning models in class V students of SD Negeri 7 Pekanbaru. The low yield V grade students of SD Negeri 7 Pekanbaru in IPA learning is not exact due to the learning model used by teachers in the learning process. Students become passive and lazy to learn because the learning system that occurs simply by using methods lectures, discussion, and assignments. Research was conducted in the first semester of the academic year 2015/2016 in SD Negeri 7 Pekanbaru. Design research is classaction research. This study was conducted in two cycles. The procedure is carried out research including planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects are students of class V with the number of students altogether 25 people, which is 10 men and 15 women. Instruments and data used in this study is the observation sheet to assess the activities of teachers and students, as well as the activity of the test in the form of daily tests each cycle to measure student learning outcomes. The results showed the activities of teachers and students during the implementation process of inquiry learning has increased at each meeting. Increased activity of studying the impact on student learning outcomes. Learning outcomes of students has increased every cycle, from classical completeness base score 44% (not finished) increased to 64% (not finished) in the first cycle and the second cycle increased to 100% (complete). In restating the first cycle students on average increased by 16% from an average score of 69.2 basis be 80.3 in cycle I. In the second cycle increased by 33% from the base score to 91.8 in the second cycle. This study concluded that the implementation of inquiry learning model can improve IPA learning outcomes of class V students in SD Negeri 7 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Inquiry Learning Models, IPA Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstact: The research aims to find out whether the implementation of two stay two stray (TSTS) method can improve social sciense learning results of class III student in SD Negeri 019 Sekeladi. The type of this research is classroom action research (CAR) with the research subjects are class III students which amounts to 16 students. The data collection techniques used is observation and tests. The research concluded that social sciense learning which using two stay two stray (TSTS) method can improve the teacher’s activity, student’s activity and social science learning result. At the first meeting of cycle I, the teacher’s activity percentage was 62,5% and categorized enouhg, at the second meeting the percentage increased to be 71,87% and categorized good. For cycle II at the first meeting the percentage was 81,25% and categorized very good, at the second meeting increased to be 84,37% and categorized very good. Then for student’s activity cycle I at the first meeting the percentage was 62,5% and categorized good, in the second meeting the percentage was 68,75% and categorized good. For the first meeting of cycle II the percentage was 78,12% and categorized good, at the second meeting the percentage was 87,5 and categorized very good. The student’s social science learning result from the average grades before action (basic score) was 62,5 increased at cycle I to be 72,50 with the percentage increase by 16,0% and at cycle II the average grades increased to be 82,18 with the percentage increase by 31,5% from the basic score by 62,5.Keywords: Cooperative Type TSTS, learning result

Abstract

Abstract : The problem this research is the student achievement of IPA still low, with an average of 69,17 classes. While the value of Minimum Criteria for completeness   (KKM) IPA SD Negeri  027 Sintong Kecamatan Tanah Putih is 70. From 12 fifth graderers SD Negeri 027 Sintong Kecamatan Tanah Putih, students who completed as many as 5 peoples, while not complete as many as 7 peoples. Formulation of the problem in this study is: " Is the implementation of cooperative learning model type Make a Match to Improve Student Achievement of IPA Fifth Graderers SD Negeri 027 Sintong Kecamatan Tanah Putih. This research was conducted on April 20, 2016 until May 04, 2016 by 2 Cycle implementation learning. The research subject is fifth graderers SD Negeri  027 Sintong Kecamatan Tanah Putih, amounting to 12 people with 7 male students and 5 female students. This thesis presents the results obtained from the value of learning the semester prior to the action with an average of 60,17 and an increase in UH I at the cycle I to 73,00. In UH II Cycle II was increased again to 77,67. Activities of teachers in the learning process first meeting of cycle I is 58.3 % and the second meeting increased to 70.8 %. At the first meeting of the cycle II of teacher activities increased to 91.7 % and at the second meeting of Cycle II increased to 95.8 %. Similarly, analysis of student activities at the first meeting of cycle I was 54.2 % and increased in the second meeting of cycle to 70,8%. At the first meeting of the cycle II of student activities is 79.2% and at the second meeting of Cycle II increased to 91.7% . The results of research is proved that the implementation of cooperative learning model  type Make a Macth can improve student achievement of IPA SD Negeri 027 Sintong Kecamatan Tanah Putih  Key words : Cooperative Learning Model Type Make A Match , Result Learning Social Studies
