Abstract

ABSTRACT. Azadirachta excelsa is a plant belonging to the same genus as the Indian neem (Azadirachta indica) which is expected to have similar biological activities. However, its active components and pharmacological effects are limited. The composition and quantity of these metabolites in A. excelsa may differ due to different polarities of extracting solvents, so selecting an effective extractive solvent with a high level of biological activity is important. Therefore, in this study, we examined differences in the metabolite finger printing using FTIR-based metabolomics, as well as evaluated their antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538) and Escherichia coli (ATCC 8739). A. excelsa was extracted using chloroform, ethyl acetate, ethanol p.a., 70% and 50% ethanol. Extracts obtained were analyzed using FTIR and the inhibition zones were then determined. The results showed that principal component analysis (PCA) could distinguish each sample based on the extraction solvent. In this study, we found 50% and 70% ethanol extracts had similar metabolite compositions and concentrations based on their respective FTIR spectrum. The inhibition zone of A. excelsa extracts ranged from 12.37-17.20 mm and 13.88-15.89 mm against S. aureus and E.coli, respectively. The chloroform extract was more effective against both bacteria. Duncan's further test showed that chloroform extract reduced E. coli similarly to ethyl acetate but not S. aureus. While 50%, 70%, and ethanol p.a. extracts inhibited S. aureus and E. coli equally. Based on these results, the polarity of the extracting solvent had an important influence on the metabolite profile and antibacterial activity of A. excelsa. Abstract

This article discusses gender construction in the Marah Labid by Sheikh Nawawi al-Bantani al-Jawi. In addition, it also discusses how the correlation between culture and society in which Nawawi al-Bantani lives with the product of interpretation is produced, so that it can be seen clearly the logical reasons and historical influences of Nawawi in interpreting the Qur'an. Then at the end, the interpretation of gender bias - if any - that can lead to injustice and discrimination will be eliminated. This study is interesting to do, because no one has examined gender construction in this book which is actually produced by the Indonesian Scholar and used as one of the sources of learning of Islamic teachings in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstrak - Sistem informasi pengarsipan merupakan salah satu aspek yang di perlukan perusahaan perbankan, Arsip memegang peranan penting dalam kelancaran dan efektifitas. Saat ini pengarsipan yang dilakukan kantor BNI wilayah 15 masih dilakukan secara tertulis menggunakan pembukuan. Dengan adanya proyek sistem informasi pengarsipan berbasis web ini dapat merubah sistem kinerja di dalam bagian administrasi agar mempermudah dalam pengarsipan surat masuk dan keluar, serta dokumen lebih terjaga dan terjamin kerahasiaannya. Proyek sistem informasi pengarsipan berbasis web ini melalui bebrapa tahap dalam metode pengembangan proyek perangkat lunak yaitu Initiating Process, Planning Processes, Executing Processes, Controlling Processes, dan Closing Processes. Dalam tahap perancangan program dibuat menggunakan Bahasa pemograman Laravel dan MySQL untuk pengolahan datanya. Teknik Analisa Data Penelitian ini yaitu analisis deskriptif dengan metode kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan secara utuh dan nyata mengenai model implementasi sistem informasi pengarsipan surat pada Unit BMW-Funding berbasis web. Perancangan proyek sistem informasi dilakukan menggunakan Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), agar penyusunan manajemen proyek yang sangat baik, maka diperlukan estimasi waktu dan biaya untuk menjalankan setiap proyek yang akan di kerjakan. Implementasi dari proyek sistem informasi pengarsipan berbasis web yaitu aliran data surat masuk dan keluar lebih terarah, dan efektif sehingga mempermudah user untuk mengelola pengarsipan. Abstract - The archiving information system is one aspect that is needed by banking companies, Archives play an important role in the smoothness and effectiveness. Currently filing by the BNI regional 15 office is still being done in writing using bookkeeping. With this web-based archiving information system project, it can change the performance system in the administration section to make it easier to archive incoming and outgoing letters and documents that are more secure and guaranteed confidentiality. This web-based archiving information system project goes through several stages in the software project development method, namely Initiating Processes, Planning Processes, Executing Processes, Controlling Processes, and Closing Processes. In the design stage, the program is made using the Laravel programming language and MySQL for data processing. Data Analysis Techniques This research is a descriptive analysis using qualitative methods by describing or describing in full and real terms the implementation model of the mail archiving information system in the web-based BMW-Funding Unit. Information system project design is carried out using the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), so the preparation of project management is very good, it is necessary to estimate the time and cost to carry out each project to be carried out. Implementing a web-based archiving information system project, namely the flow of incoming and outgoing mail data is more directed and effective, making it easier for users to manage archiving.

Abstract

Laporan ini menganalisis, mengamati, dan mewawancarai pemilik LaundryKlin untuk memahami situasi dan merumuskan strategi yang tepat. LaundryKlin, sebuah MUKM laundry di Menanggal, Surabaya. Strategi yang direkomendasikan dalam laporan ini bertujuan untuk memaksimalkan potensi positif LaundryKlin dan meningkatkan daya saingnya di tengah persaingan yang semakin ketat. Menghadapi beberapa kendala dalam pengembangan usahanya, yaitu keterbatasan pemasaran yang hanya menggunakan brosur dan sumber daya manusia yang terbatas. Selain itu, munculnya tiga pesaing baru di area tersebut menjadi ancaman bagi keberlangsungan usaha LaundryKlin. Melakukan diversifikasi strategi pemasaran dengan memanfaatkan media sosial, platform online, dan promosi kreatif. Meningkatkan brand awareness melalui berbagai upaya branding dan promosi. Memanfaatkan teknologi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasi dan memberikan kemudahan bagi pelanggan. Dengan menerapkan strategi-strategi tersebut, LaundryKlin diharapkan dapat memaksimalkan potensi positifnya, meningkatkan daya saingnya, dan meraih kesuksesan di masa depan. Abstract

tanah memiliki peran yang penting di dalam kehidupan manusia, salah satunya adalah dalam hal pembangunan di Indonesia. Hal ini sebagaimana yang diterangkan dalam Pasal 33 Ayat (3) Undang-Undang Dasar 1945 yakni bumi dan air dan kekayaan alam yang terkandung didalamnya dikuasai oleh negara dan dipergunakan sebesar-besarnya untuk kemakmuran rakyat. Pentingnya peranan tanah bagi kehidupan masyarakat ini menyebabkan adanya kebutuhan untuk adanya suatu alat bukti yang sah dan kuat bagi kepemilikan hak atas tanah tersebut untuk menciptakan kepastian hukum di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Akan tetapi keberadaan suatu sertipikat hak atas tanah sebagai alat bukti tersebut terkadang memiliki kendala-kendala dalam pelaksanaannya, diantaranya adalah kemungkinan adanya sertipikat ganda. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, terdapat 2 (dua) rumusan masalah di dalam penelitian ini, yang pertama mengenai kedudukan sertifikat hak atas tanah sebagai alat bukti bagi pemegang hak atas tanah, kemudian yang kedua mengenai mekanisme penyelesaian sengketa atas kepemilikan sertifikat hak atas tanah ganda di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah yuridis normative yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis mengenai kedudukan sertipikat hak atas tanah sebagai alat bukti kepemilikan hak atas tanah bagi para pihak serta mekanisme penyelesaian sengketanya bilamana muncul sertipikat ganda di tengah-tengah masyarakat.

Abstract

Centella asiatica, or pegagan in Indonesia, is a perennial plant used in Indonesian traditional medicine (jamu) and functional food with many biological activities. Those biological activities come from the bioactive metabolites present in C. asiatica. Differences in metabolite pathways in each part of the plant affect the accumulation of metabolites contained, thus impacting its biological activity. Therefore, this study aims to identify and evaluate differences in the distribution of metabolites in each part of C. asiatica, namely leaves, stems, stolons, and roots. Each plant part was extracted using methanol and sonicated for 30 minutes. The metabolites in the samples were separated and detected using UHPLC-Q-Orbitrap HRMS. Differences in the distribution of metabolites in each part of the plant were evaluated using chemometrics analysis. UHPLC-Q-Orbitrap HRMS analysis could positively identify 37 metabolites, most of which belong to the phenylpropanoid, triterpenoid, triterpenoid saponin, and flavonoid groups. Principal component analysis was able to clearly distinguish each part of the plant using the peak intensity of the overall chromatogram and the peak area of the identified metabolites. The different biosynthetic pathways of metabolites in plants could cause a difference in the distribution of metabolites in each plant.

Abstract

Health is regarded as a basic human need Health is a fundamental right recognized in various international human rights instruments, such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared COVID-19 a global public health pandemic on January 30, 2020. Based on the data collected, there are still members of the community who have not received the Covid-19 Booster vaccine even though it is urgently given as an antiviral. Therefore, as part of an effort to increase the coverage of vaccination, it is necessary to implement a Covid-19 public dedication as the fulfilment of the right to health. The method of community-based participatory research (Community Based Participatory Research, CBPR) is implemented. The results of the vaccination activities carried out at Tanjungpura University Faculty of Law can contribute to the vaccine coverage that exists in the community. As for the number of participants of the activity was 172 (one hundred seventy-two) people consisting of 117 (a hundred seventeen) students and 61 (sixty-one) the general public. In addition, there are students and members of the community who have not received the Covid-19 Booster Vaccine while the delivery is very urgent as an anti-virus, even there are those who have never received the vaccine at all.

Abstract

Phosphate adsorption and desorption are significant processes that influence the presence of phosphate in aquatic ecosystems and regulate the concentration of phosphate at the water-sediment interface. This research aims to investigate the characteristics of phosphate adsorption and desorption in Kendari Bay sediments, study the relationship between adsorption capacity and sediment characteristics and its phosphorus fraction, and evaluate its potential contribution to the overlying water column. Physicochemical measurements of the water and sediments were performed in the sampling location and the laboratory. Two types of adsorption-desorption kinetics models and two types of isothermal adsorption models were used to estimate the adsorption rate and capacity of the surface sediments. Adsorption kinetics and desorption kinetics experiments produced pseudo-second-order kinetic model equations with regression coefficients (R2) of 0.865–0.936 and 0.886–0.947, respectively. The isothermal adsorption experiment follows the Langmuir equation model with R2 = 0.964. The maximum adsorption capacity (Qmax) value was 156.3–227.3 mg/kg, and the phosphate concentration value at zero equilibrium (EPC0) was 0.0026–0.0047 mgP/L. Notably, the EPC0 value was higher than the SRP concentration, indicating that the resuspension of phosphate ions from sediment into the water column could occur. Furthermore, there was a correlation between Qmax values with OP, Al-P, Fe-P, clay particles, and organic materials. Potential practical applications may include integrating sediment adsorption capacity data into ecosystem models to inform nutrient management strategies and promote sustainable coastal development in Kendari Bay and beyond.

Abstract

A two-wheeled mobile robot (TWMR) is a type of mobile robot that is widely used for several tasks, one of which is trajectory tracking. This task will be complicated for the robot to track the desired trajectory when there are disturbances in the robot, such as the presence of noise from the sensor feedback. Therefore, a robust control mechanism is needed so that the robot is able to track the trajectory properly. This study proposes an Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Logic Control (IT2FLC) for controlling TWMR which has noise parameters in the heading angle. IT2FLC Sugeno method is designed with error input from the heading angel and its changes, while the output is a voltage for the left and right motors of the robot. The input membership function is constructed using a triangular function with three different Footprint of Uncertainty (FoU) values as a comparison. This controller is then implemented to control the heading angle according to the trajectory of the robot using the Differential Drive Wheeled Mobile Robot (DDWMR) kinematic model. Several scenarios are then testing via MATLAB/Simulink to see the controller performance. The test results by including the noise parameter as disturbance show that IT2FLC can produce a better performance when compared to ordinary FLC. The widest FoU value of 0.3 can produce the smallest error value of up to 0.003 on the ISE criteria.

Abstract

In the bidirectional DC-DC converter (BDD converter), power flow is created in two directions. The topology of the converter has two modes: discharge mode and charge mode. In this discussion, control for both modes is done using an external switch. This study discusses points for planning a bidirectional DC-DC converter using the MATLAB / Simulink application and implementing equipment using PID control embedded in the Arduino UNO-type microcontroller device. The converter design in the MATLAB / Simulink application with two modes uses PID control, however, the PID method can only be done in discharge mode in the experimental stage. In obtaining PID parameters using Ziegler-Nichols tuning 1. The response results have been designed in the MATLAB / Simulink application for both modes, which have a rise time value of less than 0.2 seconds, a settlement time value of less than 1 second, and a steady-state error of less than 2%. The results of the hardware experiment in discharge mode have a rise time value of 1 second, a settlement time of 2 seconds, and a steady-state error of 0.8%. The hardware experiment response is slower than the simulation, and the steady state error is larger than the simulation. The charging method can be carried out with a current value of -0.1A.
