Abstract

Background: The existing literature on sustainable software and information systems is fragmented, with research often siloed into specific models, applications, or evaluation metrics without a cohesive overview. This fragmentation hinders the development of a unified understanding necessary for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to effectively implement sustainability principles. Aims: This study aims to systematically analyze and synthesize research on software and information systems for sustainability. Its scope is to identify the dominant models, primary application domains, and key evaluation metrics used in the field to establish a consolidated understanding and guide future efforts. Methods: A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following PRISMA screened 314 Scopus documents (2017–2026) to 25 articles, analyzed using Biblioshiny, VOSviewer, and thematic synthesis. Result: The analysis reveals a field in a consolidative phase, dominated by systematic review-based research (76%) focused on theoretical synthesis. While geographically diverse, the research centers on "sustainability" and "information systems" as core themes. A critical gap exists between conceptual frameworks and practical application, evidenced by a scarcity of empirical studies (only 4% quantitative) and the absence of standardized evaluation metrics. Conclusion: This review concludes that while significant progress has been made in mapping the conceptual landscape, the field of software and information systems for sustainability must now prioritize empirical validation, the development of AI-driven systems, and the establishment of uniform measurement standards to bridge the gap between theoretical promise and tangible real-world outcomes.

Abstract

Aviation safety is heavily influenced by the quality of human resources, particularly pilots and ground crew. Although technology has advanced significantly, human error remains the primary cause of aviation accidents; therefore, strengthening both technical and non-technical competencies through effective human resource development strategies is essential. This study aims to explore the role of mentorship and coaching in improving aviation safety by enhancing the technical and non-technical skills of pilots and ground crew. The study employed a systematic literature review (SLR) approach based on PRISMA guidelines. Of the 194 studies initially identified, 34 articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed in depth using VOSviewer and Biblioshiny for thematic mapping and bibliometric visualization. The findings indicate that mentorship is effective in fostering a culture of safety, confidence, and professionalism, while coaching enhances technical performance through structured feedback and simulation-based approaches. Approximately 35% of the reviewed studies reported improvements in non-technical skills, while 26% demonstrated positive impacts on safety outcomes. The integration of mentorship and coaching forms a holistic competency framework that positively influences operational safety. This study concludes that mentorship and coaching are strategic instruments for enhancing aviation safety and should be systematically integrated into formal aviation training programs. This research contributes to the aviation safety literature by synthesizing evidence-based mentorship and coaching practices and providing practical guidance for developing integrated human resource development frameworks within the aviation industry.

Abstract

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in educational evaluation optimizes learning outcomes. This research seeks to address the advantages and difficulties of implementing AI within academic evaluation frameworks with particular emphasis on the algorithmic bias problem and its implications for fairness in education. The absence of a thorough grasp of algorithmic bias, particularly how it can be utilized as a weapon against equitable education, reveals an important gap. We conduct a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and bibliometric analysis on 121 articles sourced from Scopus published between 2021 to 2025 to trace the trends and examine the impacts and biases of AI on grading systems. The data demonstrates a significant increase in publications beginning 2018, concentrating on topics such as educational applications of AI, automated grading systems, and machine learning. The findings further indicate that though AI improves efficiency and consistency of the evaluations, it heightens the chances of biased outcomes because of non-diverse training data, prejudiced developers, and socio-cultural frameworks that could worsen the situation for already marginalized learners. In summary, this study highlights the critical gaps in bias mitigation strategies arising from the lack of ethical design frameworks, antecedent-free algorithms, and educator prep courses aimed at combating bias. These outcomes serve as benchmarks for the creation of more reliable and comprehensive AI systems for assessments and shift subsequent investigations to focus validation on different cultures and the incorporation of just AI design paradigms

Abstract

This study aims to describe the feasibility of eXeLearning-assisted e-modules on Uniformly Accelerated Motion material and describe increasing students' understanding of concepts after using eXeLearning-assisted e-modules on Uniformly Accelerated Motion material. The method used in this study is the Research and Development method with the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were 32 students of class XI H SMAN 3 Kota Bengkulu. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews, expert validation, and tests. From the results of research conducted on the feasibility test, the results were obtained the average percentage of 5 aspects is 98.40% with a very decent category. Test results to determine the increase in students' understanding of the concept of eXeLearning-assisted e-modules on Uniformly Accelerated Motion material using N-gain calculations obtained an average pretest score of 52.31 and a posttest average of 91.40 and N-gain 0.81 of the high category. Thus, it can be concluded that after learning carried out using eXeLearning-assisted e-modules, there is a high increase in students' understanding of concepts in Uniformly Accelerated Motion material class XI SMAN 3 Kota Bengkulu

Abstract

Background of study: The increasing demand for sustainability and transparency has strengthened the role of sustainable accounting and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting in modern business practices. However, traditional reporting systems face significant challenges in managing complex, large-scale, and heterogeneous ESG data, leading to limitations in accuracy, consistency, and timeliness. Although artificial intelligence (AI) has been widely adopted in financial analysis, its application in sustainable accounting and ESG reporting remains fragmented and underexplored. Aims: This study aims to provide a comprehensive and structured analysis of the role of AI in enhancing sustainable accounting and ESG reporting. Methods: This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA framework, combined with bibliometric analysis. Data were collected from the Scopus database using three keyword strategies and filtered based on predefined inclusion criteria. The dataset was cleaned using OpenRefine and analyzed using VOSviewer and Biblioshiny to explore research trends, thematic structures, and intellectual development. Result: The results show that AI technologies, particularly machine learning, natural language processing, and big data analytics, significantly improve ESG data processing, reporting efficiency, and predictive decision-making. However, ESG reporting practices remain fragmented, lack standardization, and are often implemented in isolated contexts. Conclusion: This study contributes by integrating AI, sustainable accounting, and ESG reporting into a unified perspective supported by systematic and bibliometric analysis. The findings highlight the potential of AI to enhance transparency and efficiency in sustainability reporting, while emphasizing the need for integrative frameworks and empirical validation in future research.

Abstract

Background: Transfer learning has become increasingly prominent in data science due to the challenges posed by limited labeled data and distribution shifts between training and deployment environments. However, the success of transfer learning depends significantly on the structural compatibility between source and target domains.Aims: This study aims to investigate the relationship between domain similarity and transfer learning performance using an experimental framework termed Similarity-Aware Transfer Evaluation (SATE).Methods: Twelve pairs of benchmark datasets were selected to simulate varying levels of domain similarity and were made publicly available. Domain similarity was computed using Maximum Mean Discrepancy (MMD) in the learned representation space. Transfer performance was measured using a predefined Transfer Gain metric under bounded fine-tuning strategies. Correlation analysis and statistical testing were conducted to examine the relationship between similarity scores and transfer effectiveness, while fine-tuning depth was analyzed in relation to similarity magnitude.Result: The results demonstrate a strong positive correlation between domain similarity and transfer gain (r = 0.83, p < 0.01), indicating that approximately 69% of performance variability can be explained by similarity-based transfer effects. Negative transfer was observed when similarity scores were S ≤ 0.41. Furthermore, higher similarity levels were associated with deeper and more stable fine-tuning, whereas lower similarity resulted in increased instability during adaptation. These findings establish similarity as a structural compatibility constraint in transfer learning.Conclusion: The study confirms that domain similarity plays a fundamental role in determining transfer learning success. By operationalizing similarity measurement and linking it to performance thresholds, the proposed SATE framework provides a structured method for evaluating transfer feasibility in real-world data science applications.

Abstract

Background: The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed academic writing practices, offering both opportunities and ethical challenges, particularly related to plagiarism and over-reliance on automated tools.Objectives: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of AI-assisted scientific writing training in enhancing participants’ writing skills, academic integrity awareness, and writing efficiency through a Human-AI Collaboration approach.Methods: A quantitative descriptive method was employed using a structured questionnaire consisting of 20 Likert-scale items administered to 85 participants. The instrument measured five dimensions: relevance and conceptual understanding, instructional quality, writing skill improvement, academic integrity awareness, and perceived impact. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean scores and percentage distributions.Results: The findings reveal that the training achieved a very high level of effectiveness, with an overall mean score of 3.59. All variables were categorized as very high, with academic integrity awareness obtaining the highest mean score (3.70), indicating strong improvement in ethical understanding. Writing skill improvement showed relatively lower scores, suggesting the need for continuous practice.Conclusion: AI-assisted scientific writing training based on the Human-AI Collaboration framework is highly effective in improving scientific writing competence and promoting ethical awareness. This approach provides a balanced model integrating technical skills and academic integrity in AI-supported writing practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode Cross Sectional Survey yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil keterampilan proses sains siswa pada materi momen inersia di SMAN 8 Kota Bengkulu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 8 Kota Bengkulu yang berjumlah 127 orang dengan sampel penelitian yang terdiri dari kelas XI IPA 2 sebanyak 30 orang dan XI IPA 3 sebanyak 32 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes pilihan ganda yang telah diuji validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesulitan,dan daya beda butir soal-nya dengan Model Rasch. Instrumen tersebut memenuhi kriteria kualitas butir soal. Hampir semua butir soal berada dalam rentang kesesuaian yang diharapkan, sehingga hasil penelitian dapat dipercaya karena didukung oleh instrumen yang valid dan berkualitas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian, Secara keseluruhan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMAN 8 Kota Bengkulu pada materi momen inersia berkategori cukup terampil dengan persentase rata-rata 53,79%. Sedangkan  untuk setiap indikatornya yakni indikator observasi memperoleh  48,39%, indikator klasifikasi 47,58%, indikator interpretasi 43,55%, indikator prediksi 35,89%, yang seluruhnya berada pada kategori cukup terampil, sementara indikator komunikasi berkategori sangat terampil dengan persentase rata-rata 93,55%.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically analyze scientific literature regarding the application of the ADDIE model in developing interactive multimedia for Coding and AI subjects at the primary school level, identifying research trends, best practices, and gaps requiring further academic attention. The study adopts a Semantic Literature Review (SLR) approach incorporating systematic mapping and semantic analysis. The PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) protocol was applied to select articles from Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC, and IEEE Xplore databases. A total of 47 Scopus-indexed journal articles (2015–2025) were analyzed using thematic synthesis and conceptual mapping techniques. The analysis reveals a significant increase in the application of the ADDIE model for interactive multimedia development, with a primary focus on the Development phase, which integrates AI tools for content acceleration. Key findings include: (1) a dominance of asynchronous e-learning approaches (70%) in implementation; (2) the integration of multimedia presentations through short films (35%) as a best practice; (3) a critical need for a comprehensive AI literacy framework for educators; and (4) a research gap in long-term evaluations of learning effectiveness. The ADDIE model proves effective as a systematic framework for developing Coding and AI learning multimedia in primary schools; however, it requires adaptation through generative AI integration and agile approaches to remain responsive to rapid technological advancements. Future research should focus on developing valid and reliable assessment tools to measure AI literacy in primary school students.
