Abstract

This study aims to describe the feasibility of eXeLearning-assisted e-modules on Uniformly Accelerated Motion material and describe increasing students' understanding of concepts after using eXeLearning-assisted e-modules on Uniformly Accelerated Motion material. The method used in this study is the Research and Development method with the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were 32 students of class XI H SMAN 3 Kota Bengkulu. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews, expert validation, and tests. From the results of research conducted on the feasibility test, the results were obtained the average percentage of 5 aspects is 98.40% with a very decent category. Test results to determine the increase in students' understanding of the concept of eXeLearning-assisted e-modules on Uniformly Accelerated Motion material using N-gain calculations obtained an average pretest score of 52.31 and a posttest average of 91.40 and N-gain 0.81 of the high category. Thus, it can be concluded that after learning carried out using eXeLearning-assisted e-modules, there is a high increase in students' understanding of concepts in Uniformly Accelerated Motion material class XI SMAN 3 Kota Bengkulu

Abstract

This study aims to examine what educators and learners require in order to create augmented reality-based educational materials for high school students. Descriptive research is one of the study methods used in research and development (RND). The data collection used is by conducting literature studies, observations, interviews and filling out questionnaires. This research instrument consists of observation sheets, interview sheets, and questionnaire sheets. Both quantitative and qualitative data analysis were the methods employed for the data analysis. The findings of the analysis of student needs questionnaires showed that, on average, 69% of the category agreed to the development of augmented reality-based learning media. These findings are based on observations made during teacher interviews, which indicate that the learning media used are still conventional and cause students to struggle with understanding learning materials. Thus, it follows that the utilization of learning materials based on augmented reality is required as a supporting medium in the educational process.

Abstract

This research is triggered by the lack of students’ conceptual understanding of Aviation English. A digital module assists in delivering engaging lessons. This research aims to examine the effectiveness of the Project-based Learning (PjBL) model based on the Digital Module to improve students’ conceptual understanding of Aviation English. This research applied the research and development (RD) model proposed by Borg and Gall (1982). The method was modified into three research and development steps, including (1) preliminary study, (2) development, and (3) evaluation. The research was conducted at Politeknik Penerbangan Palembang. The research subjects were 47 students of the Aviation Rescue and Firefighting Department. The data collection method used a questionnaire and test. Based on the data analysis, most students strongly agreed to use the digital module to improve students’ conceptual understanding of Aviation English. The use of the PjBL model based on the digital module affects significantly students’ conceptual understanding of Aviation English. This is demonstrated by the average scores of post-test results for the control and experimental classes are 70.57 and 80.03 respectively.

Abstract

This study produced an android-based e-module for Basic Biology course on Biotechnology material to support online learning. This study is a research and development using ADDIE model. Data were collected by using questionnaires and interviews, while the data analysis technique using qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The developed e-module was then validated by validators from teaching material experts. The readability test was carried out to 30 students. The results of this study revealed that the android-based e-module on Biotechnology material was valid. While the student readability test assessment revealed that the medium was very good. Thus, the e-module developed is feasible implemented in class for online learning.

Abstract

Physics practicum is an important activity in basic physics courses that involve contextual physics concepts, such as cases in coastal areas which can demand students’ problem-solving skills. Covid-19 has caused basic physics practicum activities to become difficult to carry out in a laboratory scale, thus alternative solution is necessary to perform practical activities in the Covid-19 situation, namely by utilizing Augmented Reality (AR) technology. AR can help visualize physics concepts and practicum activity procedures relevant to practicum activities. This study aimed to develop an AR-assisted practicum guidebook product oriented toward a problem-solving method by presenting several cases of natural potential in local coastal areas. This study used an R&D method with a 4D model. However, this study was limited to the development stage. Data were collected with validation sheets and student response questionnaire sheets. These data were then analyzed with descriptive qualitative data analysis technique. Based on the data analysis results, many students had difficulties in carrying out physics practicum activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. This occurred due to the unaccessible practicum video procedures in the guidebook during the offline condition. Furthermore, the practicum procedure guidebook was only in narrative text, unable to stimulate high-level thinking skills by presenting coastal area cases. Students must be introduced deeper to the potential of coastal areas and their relation to physics concepts.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate and assess whether the academic supervision of the principal and the work ethic of the teachers have an influence on the quality of education. This study was carried out at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang, and the research method employed was descriptive analysis using a quantitative approach. The participants in this study are 60 instructors from SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. Data gathering methods include providing questionnaires that reflect all variables. The data analysis strategy used in this study is simple regression and multiple regression with SPSS. The findings revealed that there was a substantial effect of the principal's academic supervision variable on the quality of education, as well as a positive and significant influence of the principal's supervision and the teacher's work ethic on the quality of education at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. The findings of this study are likely to aid teachers in the design of the learning process.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran yang interaktif dapat mengatasi kurangnya motivasi belajar siswa, game edukasi adalah salah satu produk dari multimedia pembelajaran interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan pengembangan game edukasi fisika (GEMIKA) berbantuan wordwall, respon siswa terhadap game edukasi fisika, dan mengetahui seberapa besar peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa pada materi suhu, kalor, dan perpindahan kalor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dalam proses pengembangannya menggunakan model ADDIE terdiri dari 5 tahapan (Analyze, Desain, Devlopment, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Data hasil penelitian didapat dari analisis kebutuhan, hasil angket validasi ahli media dan materi, angket respon siswa dan angket motivasi belajar. Hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan 83% siswa menyatakan sangat setuju dan membutuhkan game edukasi fisika sebgai media pembelajaran. Analisis data validasi ahli media mendapatkan presentase sebesar 87,5% , ahli materi 77,8%, respon siswa 84,36% dan N-gain sebesar 0,67 yang menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi siswa. Berdasarkan Hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahwa game edukasi fisika layak digunakan sebgai media pembelajaran dan dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Pada pendidikan masa kini, guru tidak lagi menjadi pusat pada proses pembelajaran, melainkan siswa yang harus lebih aktif dan tentunya menjadi pusat pada proses pembelajaran. Pemanfaatan teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran harus dikembangkan dengan pembaharuan pembelajaran yang lebih kreatif dan inovatif. Media pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif dapat membantu siswa dalam belajar, dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar. Untuk itutujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan Nearpod untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI di salah satu SMAN di Kota Bengkulu pada materi gerak parabola. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap yaitu analisis, perencanaan, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI di salah satu SMAN di Kota Bengkulu. Wawancara, observasi, angket dan dokumentasi digunakan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Berdasarkan hasil  uji validitas produk menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan nearpod memenuhi kriteria tertinggi sebesar 88,72 %. Dari hasil analisis uji respon, jawaban siswa terhadap angket disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan nearpod memenuhi kriteria sangat baik dengan persentase 85 %. Pada uji lapangan diperoleh hasil N-gain sebesar 0,74 yang termasuk dalam klasifikasi tinggi. Dengan demikian pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan Nearpod sangat layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMAN di Kota Bengkulu pada materi gerak parabola dan mendapatkan respon yang sangat baik.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang menggunakan masalah dunia nyata sebagai suatu konteks bagi peserta didik untuk belajar tentang cara berpikir kritis dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah, serta untuk memperoleh pengetahuan dan konsep yang esensial dari materi pelajaran. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media animasi berbasis Canva terhadap hasil belajar fisika SMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperiment dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan Design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan angket respon. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik diperoleh kesimpulan adanya pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan bantuan media animasi berbasis Canva terhadap hasil belajar fisika di SMA dengan kategori sedang dengan dibuktikan nilai effect size sebesar 0,80 dan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran fisika model  Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media animasi berbasis canva berada pada kategori baik dengan persentase 74% .

Abstract

Abstrak. Latar belakang dari penelitian ini, bahwa perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat telah membawa banyak manfaat positif terutama dalam dunia pendidikan. Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran seperti penggunaan media pembelajaran dapat membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan yang sering terjadi dan belum bisa terpecahkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan uji kelayakan produk, peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dan respon siswa terhadap pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan Google Sites untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pada materi momentum dan impuls. Penelitian ini menggunaan Research and Development dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Subjek dari penelitian yang dilakukan adalah siswa kelas XI J SMAN 3 Kota Bengkulu. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, angket. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar observasi, lembar wawancara, lembar angket validasi, lembar angket respon siswa dan lembar pretest dan Posstest. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli mengenai uji kelayakan produk memperoleh persentase mencapai 95,83 % dengan kategori sangat layak, sedangkan mengenai hasil belajar memperoleh N-gain Score sebesar 0,86 dengan kategori tinggi dan respon siswa memperoleh persentase mencapai 88,59 % dengan kategori sangat baik. Dari hasil yang diperoleh tersebut, maka pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan Google Sites pada materi momentum dan impuls dapat diigunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan dapat membantu dalam menunjang siswa dalam pembelajaran fisika. Dampak dari penelitian ini diharapkan mampu menambah pengetahuan, wawasan dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran ilmu teknologi pada proses pembelajaran fisika dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan Google Sites agar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: Google Sites, interaktif, Media pembelajaran.Abstract. The background to this research is that the increasingly rapid development of technology has brought many positive benefits, especially in education. Technology in the learning process, such as using learning media, can help solve problems that often occur and cannot be solved. This research aims to describe product feasibility testing, improving student learning outcomes and student responses to developing assisted interactive learning media Google Sites to improve learning outcomes in momentum and impulse material. This research uses Research and Development using the ADDIE model. The subjects of the research carried out were class XI J students of SMAN 3 Bengkulu City. The data collection techniques were observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The instruments used in this research were observation sheets, interview sheets, validation questionnaire sheets, student response questionnaires and sheets of pretest and posttest. Based on the results of expert validation regarding product feasibility testing, the percentage reached 95.83% with the very feasible category, while regarding learning results obtained N-Gain Score amounted to 0.86 in the high category, and student responses obtained a percentage reaching 88.59% in the very good category. From the results obtained, the development of interactive learning media was assisted by Google Sites in the material momentum and impulse can be used to improve learning outcomes. It can help in supporting students in learning physics. The impact of this research is expected to be to increase knowledge and insight and improve the quality of science and technology learning in the physics learning process by using interactive learning media assisted by Google Sites to improve student learning outcomes.Keywords: Google Sites, interactive, learning media.
