Abstract

Shortness of breath (Dypsnea) is a condition that describes the sensation of shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing and shortness of breath are often associated with heart or respiratory disease, and is characterized by airflow obstruction, This study aimed to determine the effect of the decrease pursed Lip Breathing Dyspnea perception in COPD patients.This study design using quasy Experimental studies were conducted in 32 patients with COPD in the Pavilion Cempaka Jombang General Hospital in February-March 2018.Respondents were divided into 2 groups, 16 groups of PLB 16 control group. Data analysisuse Independent t test Test,In the test statistic Independent t test PLB has a significant value of p = 0.000 (p <0.05), the PLB has a significant value of p = 0.000 (p <0.05).Nurses can use the PLB therapy as an alternative therapy for reducing the perception of dyspnea in patients with COPD.

Abstract

Mostly in mothers postpartum experiencing less milk production and the slow out may cause the mother did not breastfeed her baby enough, the problem of early postpartum breastfeeding is nipple pain, blisters, swollen breasts And there are still many breastfeeding mothers who do not perform breast care, possibility this is causing an insufficient the expenditure of ASI. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of behavior breast care with the ASI smoothness of post partum mother in the Kedunglosari village Jombang. The study design used is analytic correlation with cross sectional approach. While the sampling technique used is non-probability sampling method using quota sampling, with 100 people population and the 30 post partum mothers sample. These results indicate that the majority of respondents behave positively in the treatment of breast ammount 16 people (53.3%) and the other half respondents smoothness of ASI ammount 15 people (50%). Data analysis using Spearman Rank Test with significant levelthat is ρ value = 0.002 <α (12:05) so H1there is relationship between breast care with the ASI's smoothness of post partum mothers in Kedunglosari village Jombang. Based on this study, postpartum mothers should all realize that the importance of breast care to avoid the lack of launch expenses ASI.

Abstract

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women after cervical cancer. Failure to detect breast cancer early can occur due to lack of knowledge gained by the community. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of advising about the awareness of knowledge and attitude of adolescent woman in PP. Putri a NajiyahBahrul 'UlumTambakberasJombang. The design of this study was pre-experimental. The samples used in this study were 45 respondents with random sampling technique by distributing questionnaires. Based on the results of research before the advising, knowledge of respondents almost all have less knowledge that is 38 respondents (84.4%) and attitudes of respondents almost all have a negative attitude that is 36 respondents (80%). After doing the advising, all respondents have good knowledge that is 100% and attitude of respondent mostly have positive attitude that is 25 respondents (55, 6%) Data analysis using Wilcoxon test statistic test show significance value before and after α = 0,000, attitude before and after α = 0,002 (α> 0, 05) means H1 is accepted then there is influence of advising to level of knowledge and attitude of young woman. Furthermore, it is necessary to monitor about health inspection to health officer around Pesantren.

Abstract

Dyspnea is a condition that describes the sensation of shortness of breath, which is characterized by airflow obstruction, or difficulty breathing and shortness of breath are often associated with heart or respiratory disease, This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the combination pursed Lip Breathing and Distractive Auditory Stimuli to perception of Dyspnea and Peak expiratory Flow Rate in COPD patients. This study design used queasy Experiment one group pretest-posttest with a control group, studies were conducted in 32 patients with COPD in the Pavilion Cempaka Jombang General Hospital in February-March 2018. Respondents were divided into 4 groups aged between 50-79 years. Group 1 was given therapy Breathing Lips pursed, Distractive Auditory Stimuli group 2, group 3 combination Breathing Lips pursed and Distractive Auditory Stimuli, group 4 as the control group. Results and Analysis: Analysis of paired t-test PLB had a significant value of p = 0.000 (p <0.05), the DAS had a significant value of p = 0.000 (p <0.05), the combination had a significant value of p = 0.000 (p <0.05 ). While statistically MANOVA test the combination group as evidenced by the value of Wilks' Lambda indicated the significance level of 0.000 (p <0.05). This shows the differences between the mean value of Dyspnea and PEF in the treatment group and the control group with the power difference of 0.648 in the combination group. Discussion and Conclusion: Nurses can use the PLB and DAS combination therapy as an alternative therapy for reducing the perception of dyspnea and increase the value of PEF in patients with COPD.

Abstract

Parents have an obligation and are responsible for caring for, caring for, educating, and protecting children. Difficult eating behavior in children can be characterized by refusing food to consume food or drink with the type and amount according to age. This study aims to analyze the relationship between parenting parents with difficult eating behaviors in preschool children. This research uses correlation analytic design with cross sectional approach. The sample used was 42 respondents. The sampling technique used is total sampling. Data collection using a questionnaire. The results showed that most respondents adopted democratic parenting 26 respondents (61.9%), while the majority of respondents with the criteria for difficult eating behavior were 24 respondents (57.1%). Data analysis using Chi-Square statistical test results obtained p value = 0.007 <α = 0.05, then there is a relationship between parenting parents with difficult eating behavior in pre-school children. The level of relationship is in the medium category where the correlation value is 0.483. Democratic parenting upholds openness in recognition of children's opinions and cooperation, children are given freedom but freedom can be accounted for. Abstract

Persaingan bisnis yang semakin ketat menuntut setiap pengusaha untuk mampu mengambil keputusan secara cepat dan tepat berdasarkan in-formasi yang akurat. Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi Ngunut Petshop adalah penumpukan stok pakan kucing akibat ketidaktepatan dalam memprediksi kebutuhan konsumen. Untuk mengatasi hal terse-but, penelitian ini menerapkan metode K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) sebagai teknik data mining guna memprediksi kebutuhan stok pakan kucing. Data yang digunakan berasal dari catatan penjualan Ngunut Petshop pada periode bulan Maret 2024 hingga Mei 2024, dengan atribut yang meliputi jenis kucing, umur kucing, jenis makanan, dan jenis kelamin. Proses penelitian dilakukan melalui tahapan data selec-tion, preprocessing, transformation, data mining, hingga interpreta-tion/evaluasi dengan menggunakan aplikasi WEKA sebagai alat bantu analisis. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa nilai k=41 dengan pro-porsi data latih 50% dan data uji 50% memberikan akurasi tertinggi sebesar 58%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun metode K-NN dapat digunakan untuk membantu prediksi kebutuhan stok pakan kuc-ing, tingkat akurasi yang diperoleh masih rendah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penambahan jumlah data, penggunaan atribut tambahan, maupun penerapan metode klasifikasi lain sebagai pembanding agar hasil prediksi dapat lebih optimal dan mendukung pengambilan kepu-tusan manajemen stok secara lebih efektif di Ngunut Petshop.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar melalui kegiatan praktikum yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa calon guru dengan mendesain praktikum berbasis problem solving. Melalui praktikum diharapkan mahasiswa mampu untuk menerapkannya nantinya di Sekolah Dasar pada pembelajaran IPA. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yaitu diperoleh adanya peningkatan keterampilan berkomunikasi ilmiah mahasiswa berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan angket. Adapun indikator yang digunakan untuk mengetahui keterampilan berkomunikasi tersebut yaitu mencari informasi, scientific reading, mendengar dan pengamatan ilmiah, serta scientific writing. Melalui penerapan praktikum problem solving diperoleh hasil yaitu 29,4 % mahasiswa sudah baik dalam melakukan komunikasi pada saat proses praktikum, selanjutnya 64,7 % pada saat pelaksanaan mahasiswa sudah cukup baik berkomunikasi terkait dengan solusi yang akan diberikan dalam memecahkan permasalahan dalam kegiatan praktikum, sedangan 5,9 % mahasiswa masih perlu bimbingan dalam melakukan praktikum, sebab masih ada beberapa yang sulit berkomunikasi secara lisan dan berkolaborasi dalam kelompok.

Abstract

The low speaking skills of students in the context of learning English for specific purposes, such as tourism, encourage the need for a more effective teaching approach. This study aims to analyze the ARCS Model's effectiveness in improving students' speaking accuracy and fluency in the tourism study program at Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya. This study used a quasi experimental design with a pretest and posttest approach, involving 60 EFL students (22 males and 38 females) aged 18–20 years who took the English for Hospitality course in the second semester of the 2025 academic year. The homogeneity of the participants' initial abilities was tested using the Oxford Placement Test (OPT). The participants were randomly divided into an experimental group (with the ARCS Model) and a control group (with conventional methods). The instrument used was the Cambridge PET speaking test, with two assessment indicators: Error-Free Clauses per T-unit (EFC/T) for accuracy and Words per Minute (W/M) for fluency. Data analysis was done using MANOVA with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics software version 24.0. The results showed a statistically significant improvement in the experimental group for both aspects of speaking skills, with a significance value of p < 0.001, and a Partial Eta Squared effect size of 0.522 (accurate) and 0.805 (fluent). These findings concluded that the ARCS Model effectively improves speaking skills, especially fluency, compared to conventional teaching methods. Therefore, integrating the ARCS Model in the foreign language curriculum at vocational institutions is recommended to strengthen students' communicative competence and competitiveness in the global tourism industry.

Abstract

Proses fermentasi tempe gambus secara konvensional pada skala UMKM sering terkendala oleh ketidakstabilan suhu dan kelembaban, terutama saat musim hujan. Hal ini menyebabkan fermentasi berlangsung lebih lama dan menurunkan kualitas produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem otomatis berbasis Arduino Mega2560 untuk mengendalikan suhu dan kelembaban secara presisi. Sistem menggunakan sensor DHT22 sebagai pembaca suhu dan kelembaban secara real-time, serta aktuator berupa heater PTC, humidifier, dan fan yang dikendalikan melalui logika histeresis dan metode moving average. Sistem diuji selama fermentasi tempe berlangsung ±36 jam. Hasil menunjukkan sistem mampu menjaga suhu 30–37 °C dan kelembaban 65–75% RH secara stabil. Waktu fermentasi berhasil dipercepat menjadi ±24 jam tanpa menurunkan kualitas. Sistem ini mudah dioperasikan oleh pelaku UMKM dan efektif menjaga kondisi optimal selama proses fermentasi. Inovasi ini menjadi solusi tepat guna dalam modernisasi proses produksi pangan tradisional dan mendukung peningkatan produktivitas UMKM.

Abstract

Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) standing out as the most developed intergovernmental institution. ASEAN countries have demonstrated impressive economic growth average annual growth rate of 4.2% over the past decade. This study investigates the impact of key macroeconomic variables Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), inflation, unemployment, exchange rate, and green trade on economic growth in ten ASEAN member states. Additionally, it examines the mediating role of FDI in shaping these relationships. Employing panel data regression over a 15-year period (2008–2022), the analysis reveals a significant negative correlation between inflation and economic growth, reflecting the detrimental effects of price instability on economic activity. In contrast, unemployment, exchange rate, and green trade exhibit positive correlations with growth, suggesting that higher employment levels, currency stability, and environmentally sustainable trade practices bolster economic performance. FDI plays a critical mediating role by injecting capital and advanced technology, thereby enhancing productivity, innovation, and job creation. The study underscores the necessity of integrated economic policies that simultaneously address inflation, employment, exchange rate management, and green trade promotion, while actively fostering FDI to support sustainable and resilient economic development across the ASEAN region.
