Abstract

People with mental disorders being involved in the 2024 election is an interesting topic of discussion. In this context, there are many pros and cons. The question arises as to whether those with mental disorders have the right to vote. This is interesting to research and review. This article aims to analyze the right to vote for people with mental disabilities in the 2024 elections. Apart from that, this research also analyzes the Constitutional Court decision Number 135/PUU-XIII/2015. This research departs from a normative study with a statute approach. This approach is used to view and analyze legal aspects related to the problems in this research. This article argues that the legal regulation of the right to vote in elections for disabled people with mental disorders is regulated in Article 4 paragraph (2) letter b and Article 4 paragraph (3) General Election Commission Regulation (PKPU) Number 11 of 2018 concerning the Compilation of the Domestic Voter List. The General Election Organizers were then revised with PKPU 37 of 2018, which deleted the provisions of Article 4 paragraph (2) letter b and Article 4 paragraph 3 in order to comply with the decision of the Constitutional Court. People with persistent mental or memory disorders do not have the right to vote in elections.

Abstract

Ekonomika biologi kesehatan merupakan salah satu tantangan bagi masyarakat dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidupnya. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk menganalisis struktur demografis dan pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia (SDM) di Desa Riso dengan menggunakan piramida penduduk sebagai alat bantu visual. Pendekatan ini memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang distribusi usia dan jenis kelamin, yang kritikal dalam menghadapi tantangan ekonomika dan kesehatan yang berkembang. Melalui analisis ini, kami mengidentifikasi potensi dan tantangan yang dihadapi oleh penduduk desa dalam mengelola sumber daya lokal mereka secara berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan jumlah penduduk usia produktif yang dominan, Desa Riso memiliki kesempatan untuk memperkuat kapasitas lokal dalam menghadapi tantangan kesehatan dan ekonomi masa depan. Implikasi dari temuan ini adalah perlunya intervensi yang berfokus pada penguatan kapasitas dan pemberdayaan penduduk, khususnya dalam bidang pendidikan kesehatan dan keterampilan ekonomi, untuk memastikan kesejahteraan jangka panjang.

Abstract

Jamu merupakan bagian integral dari budaya dan kesehatan masyarakat Indonesia. Berasal dari warisan leluhur, jamu dianggap sebagai alternatif pengobatan alami yang aman dan efektif. Namun, dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, maraknya penggunaan bahan kimia obat dalam pembuatan jamu telah menimbulkan kekhawatiran mengenai potensi risiko kesehatannya. Beberapa jamu tradisional tercemar oleh bahan kimia berbahaya, bukan bahan alami yang seharusnya digunakan dalam pembuatan jamu. Peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat tentang risiko penggunaan jamu berbahan kimia obat menjadi sangat penting, agar masyarakat terlindungi dari paparan sediaan jamu yang mengandung bahan kimia obat. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut tim dosen Fakultas Farmasi dan Kesehatan Universitas Tjut Nyak Dhien tertarik memberikan edukasi terkait risiko penggunaan jamu berbahan kimia obat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat. Edukasi dilakukan melalui kegiatan penyuluhan dan pembagian brosur tentang jamu dan risiko penggunaan jamu berbahan kimia obat. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini adalah terjadinya peningkatan kesadaran dan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang hal ini. Parameter bertambahnya pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat adalah dari pertanyaan yang diajukan kepada tim dosen, diantaranya adalah Bagaimana cara mengetahui bahwa jamu tersebut mengandung bahan kimia obat ? ; Apa saja resiko yang dapat ditimbulkan oleh penggunaan jamu yang mengandung bahan kimia obat ? ; Bagaimana cara mengatasi kondisi yang dihadapi ketika menyadari pernah mengkonsumsi jamu yang diduga mengandung bahan kimia obat ? ; Apakah ada tindak lanjut dari BPOM untuk produsen nakal yang menambahkan bahan kimia obat untuk produk jamu yang di buatnya ?. Pertanyaan yang diajukan sangat berbobot sehingga dari jawaban yang diberikan tim dosen menambah wawasan dan kesadaran masyarakat.

Abstract

The high prevalence of plagiarism in the creation of scientific articles and the widespread practice of copy-pasting underpin the motivation for this activity. The purpose of this initiative is to provide a solution to the recurring issue of plagiarism resulting from such practices. Additionally, the activity aims to offer insights and skills to participants in avoiding acts of plagiarism. The methodology employed involves interactive discussions and live demonstrations conducted online through the Zoom application, packaged in the form of a webinar. This Community Engagement project was attended by 33 participants, consisting of lecturers and senior university students from Tjut Nyak Dhien University .The findings from this initiative revealed an enhancement in participants' understanding of paraphrasing practices and the negative impacts of plagiarism. Furthermore, participants acquired practical skills in effectively applying paraphrasing techniques, resulting in a better comprehension of the significance of creating original content and how to avoid plagiarism. In conclusion, the webinar provided a comprehensive perspective on the importance of plagiarism prevention, enhancing awareness of potential legal and academic consequences associated with such actions.

Abstract

Taekwondo is a Korean martial art characterized by rapid kicks. In the combat category, technical ability is the key to success in gaining points. The aphurigi technique (axe kick) is one of the important techniques in taekwondo because the technique gives a point contribution of around 20% in the match. Thus, it is necessary to investigate kinematic analysis to determine the kinematic parameters that contribute to the success of the aphurigi (axe kick) kick technique. 24 athletes were involved in this research, divided into 2 groups, namely the national level group and the regional group. All samples performed aphurigi kicks, then recorded using a camera and analyzed using skill spector software in 2 dimensions. There are 6 parameters analyzed consisting of kick speed, hip position, angular speed, and kick range. From the measurements that have been carried out, the results show that national-level athletes have significant differences compared to regional athletes in kick speed in the upswing phase, p-0.003, hip position, p-0.045, and knee angle in the upswing phase, p-0.026. However, there were no significant differences in other parameters, including kick speed in the upswing phase, kick range, and knee angle in the upswing phase. The results show the importance of a specific training program to train kinematic parameters that can influence aphurigi kick performance, therefore amateur athletes can master effective kick techniques and compete at the national level.

Abstract

The highest percentage of anemia occurs among adolescent girls, and one of the efforts to overcome such problem is iron supplementation along with iron-rich foods from animal sources such as red meat and marine products, as well as vegetable sources such as nuts. Soybean is a kind of iron-rich food which contains 8.0/100 g of iron. This study aims to observe the increase in hemoglobin levels after the administration of soybean juice among adolescent girls. This was a pre-experimental study with a one group pretest-posttest design. The populations consisted of 133 adolescent girls of VII and VIII graders with a sample size of 35 respondents who were selected by using purposive sampling technique. The respondents were given 250 ml of soybean juice for 21 consecutive days every morning. On the twenty-second day, the Hb levels of respondents were re-assessed (post-test). The blood sample taken was a capillary blood at the fingertip. The statistical test applied the Paired T-Test. The results revealed that hemoglobin levels of respondents who were given soybean juice increased by 12.06 g/dl with a difference of 1.62 g/dl. This study concluded that 250 ml soybean juice had an effect on the hemoglobin levels among adolescent girls. Adolescents are recommended to regularly consume iron-rich foods and beverages with various kinds of preparations such as soybean juice.

Abstract

Obesity with dyslipidemia is a serious problem because it risks various degenerative and metabolic diseases. The prevalence of obesity in Indonesia continues to increase every year, currently in the adult population reaching 21.8%. To prevent the onset of degenerative diseases and metabolic disorders, it is important to control obesity with dyslipidemia through weight loss and lipid profile improvement. This study aims to determine the effect of nutritional counseling in losing weight and improving lipid profiles in obese patients with dyslipidemia. This is a pseudo-experimental study with One group Pre and Post Test Design. The initial stage was the identification of obesity and lipid profile. In 100 respondents identified as obese, total cholesterol, LDL and triglycerides were examined. 40 obese respondents with dyslipidemia were determined as samples. The second stage was nutrition counseling intervention. The third stage of evaluation is the re-measurement of body weight and lipid profile. The research result is only 30 respondents participated in the evaluation. Average initial body weight was 75.11 kg and final body weight was 73.14 kg. Average weight loss was 1.97 kg. Average initial cholesterol 233.20 mg/dL and final cholesterol 224.70 mg/dL. Average cholesterol reduction of 8.5 mg/dL. Average initial LDL 152.37 mg/dL and final LDL 139.47 mg/dL. Average decrease in LDL 12.9 mg/dL Average initial triglycerides 161.23 mg/dL and final triglycerides 143.97 mg/dL. The average decrease in triglycerides is 17.26 mg/dL. The statistical test results showed a p-value = 0.000. There is an effect of nutritional counseling on weight loss and improvement of lipid profiles of obese patients with dyslipidemia.

Abstract

Background: avocado oil contains vitamins A, D, E and lecithin. This content is efficacious to moisturise and regenerate the skin, and it is a natural sunscreen that protects the skin from UV rays. The flavonoid content in celery can neutralise free radicals and prevent premature aging. Then, this plant can be processed and used as a cosmetic preparation in the form of lotion. Polyherbs are cosmetic products that contain one or more herbal substances. This study aimed to determine whether avocado oil (Apium graveolens L) and celery (Persea americana) in polyherbal lotion preparation extracts can provide skin moisture. Methods: the method used is experimental by making celery extraction by maceration using 96% ethanol solvent and concentrated with a rotary evaporator and avocado oil as a combination lotion preparation of 1.5%, 2%, 2.5% and 3% concentrations. As blanks used lotion base. Tests on lotion preparations include homogeneity tests, pH measurements, determination of emulsion type, stability, irritation to volunteers, liking/hedonics, moisture effectiveness compared with existing preparations, using the Skin Analyzer Detector tool, and antioxidant activity tests. Result: the results of the study showed that all lotion preparations were homogeneous, had a pH of 6.2-5.9, emulsion type M/A and were stable during storage of 4 weeks. Lotion preparations of avocado oil and celery extract with a concentration of 3% can provide the best moisturising effect on the skin after 4 weeks. All polyherbal lotion preparations of avocado oil and celery extract do not irritate the skin; celery ethanol extract and avocado oil have antioxidant activity in the "medium" category with an IC50 value of 143 ppm. Polyherbal lotion preparations with a concentration of 3% show effectiveness as the best moisturiser.

Abstract

Background; The skin is the outermost layer of the body that serves as a protective barrier against exposure to sunlight and is also where sweat is produced. Sweat can make the skin appear dull and sticky. Soap is a cosmetic product that is used for body cleansing. Annatto and red mold rice are used as natural colorants formulated in soap preparations, where the color produced by annatto and red mold rice is not stable. Therefore, a copigmentation method is needed to stabilize the colorant annatto with red mold rice. Method; This research use an experimental approach that initially involves the extraction of annatto seeds and red mold rice using 96% ethanol. Subsequently, the extracted compounds are formulated into soap preparations with variations in ratios of 1:1, 1:2, 2:1, and 2:2. To evaluate the quality of the soap preparations, various tests have been conducted, including homogeneity testing, pH testing, foam height testing, water content testing, and irritation testing. Result; The results showed that the copigmentation of annatto seeds with red mold rice in the form of ethanol extract could be formulated into a soap dosage form at a ratio of 2:1 (F4) is the best preparation, is a homogeneous preparation, has a pH of 9.4 , has a foam height of 8.3 cm, has a water content of 6.25%. All copigmented soap with ethanol extract of annatto seeds with red mold rice does not irritate the skin of the hands.

The UHC is a crucial and urgent resolution for all nations to expand health systems with equal access and affordable costs. The program is one of the efforts to lower the maternal and infant mortality rate. As a healthcare provider, public health centers must ensure optimal care and services. Public health centers realize that providing health care refers to the core health efforts program. This research aims to analyze maternal and child health insurance use in maternity services in Public health centers. The analysis uses the study methodology of the literature review library with search engines used in literature searches such as Google Scholar and PubMed with the keywords Birth Assurance, Public Health Centers, Sustainable Development Goals, and Universal Health Coverage. The survey results show that the use of maternity guarantees for the population in Public health centers in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, responsiveness, uniformity, and accuracy still needs to be better achieved. The research identifies differences between people's expectations of quality of health care and the realities experienced, focusing on the various dimensions that make up quality of service. These dimensions include reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangible. The conclusion of this study suggests that services in Public health centers should be continuously improved through capacity improvements, improvements or renovations of infrastructure and systems, as well as some programs with preventive, promotional, and empowerment of the public to UHC.
