Abstract

This study aims to investigate the bioecology of seagrass at Prawean Beach, Jepara, through analysis of species composition, the Seagrass Ecological Quality Index (SEQI), environmental water parameters, as well as the connection between environmental variables and seagrass cover. Data collection was carried out in September at two stations using the method transect-quadratic, while the physical-chemical parameters water were measured in situ and analyzed in a way statistically. Research results show that Thalassia hemprichii is the dominant species with the highest coverage in all point observations, while Enhalus acoroides, Cymodocea rotundata, and Halodule uninervis have lower cover more low. The SEQI value is in the range of 45–50% which indicates a quality ecosystem in category medium. Analysis Spearman correlation reveals that brightness influential significant to cover seagrass (r = 0.82; p = 0.048), whereas salinity, temperature, DO, pH, nitrate, and phosphate show no significant connection. Findings This indicates that disturbance of the physical coast potential becomes factor main influencing factor health field of seagrass at Prawean Beach.

Abstract

In an era of globalization marked by increased cross-border interactions, legal relationships in international contracts have become increasingly complex and demand legal certainty for the parties involved. This study aims to analyze the implementation of choice of law clauses in the settlement of international contract disputes from the perspective of International Civil Law. The method used is normative legal research with a qualitative analytical approach through a review of regulations, doctrines, and relevant legal literature. The results of the study show that choice of law clauses play an important role in providing legal certainty, efficiency in the dispute resolution process, and protection of the interests of the parties. However, its application is still limited by the principle of public policy and mandatory rules in the forum country. Thus, the choice of law clause is an important instrument that reflects the balance between the principle of party autonomy and the principle of state sovereignty in the practice of International Civil Law.

Abstract

The postpartum period is a critical six-week phase after childbirth that requires intensive monitoring because mothers undergo physiological and psychological recovery and are at risk of complications such as bleeding, infection, postpartum depression, and lactation disorders. Home-care services provided by midwives play an important role in the early detection of complications, emotional support, and increasing family involvement, and various studies have shown their effectiveness in improving mothers’ knowledge, satisfaction, and health. However, in Indonesia, the utilization of these services remains low due to limited maternal knowledge, financial constraints, and midwives’ busy schedules, further aggravated by the absence of national standards for home-care implementation. A community service initiative in Jempong Baru Subdistrict was therefore carried out to improve postpartum mothers’ knowledge and independence through health education and to strengthen midwives’ capacity in innovative home-care practices. Using lectures supported by audiovisual media and leaflets, the program followed the stages of pre-test, counseling, and post-test, which showed a significant increase in postpartum mothers’ knowledge—from 13% categorized as good to 74% after the intervention. This program not only improved mothers’ skills in self-care but also produced a family-based home-care service model that can be replicated and supports midwives’ roles in community-based midwifery services.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how to optimize the use of distance learning methods in supporting students' cognitive abilities to continue optimal during self-learning at home. So, to answer the problem, researchers will use two indicator instruments, is distance learning to cognitive students and technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) to the cognitive students. While the method used in this study is a survey method because there needs to be testing and proving how to distance learning and technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK). The dependent variables to the study are cognitive students (SC) and the independent variables are distance learning (DL) and technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK). There to answer the problem requires comprehensive data collection. This study used a saturated sampling of about 197 teachers obtained from SMK Pawyatan Daha 1 Kediri, SMK PGRI 2 Kediri, and SMKN 1 Bondowoso. Determination of population sampling and samples used in this study because the three places have implemented technology-based distance learning that using virtual meeting media (google classroom, zoom or google meet) and non-virtual meeting media (WhatsApp, telegram, youtube, etc.) as a balanced complement in the face of self-study policies by students. Data collection was conducted from June to October 2020 by adopting an online questionnaire. The results of theoretical and statistical studies concluded that distance learning was carried out in all three vocational high schools (SMK Pawyatan Daha 1 Kediri, SMK PGRI 2 Kediri, and SMKN 1 Bondowoso). Able to affect the cognitive abilities of students, especially when combined with the ability of teachers in master technology, content, and classes. Therefore, the two components should not be separated in supporting the success of distance learning, so that the achievement of goals in improving cognitive students can be done optimally.

Abstract

This study analyzes the financial feasibility of the Manggeng Peanut business at UD. Manggeng Food in Southwest Aceh Regency. This agro-industrial MSME plays a strategic role in driving the local economy, but faces challenges from fluctuating raw material prices and supplies that impact cash flow instability. This quantitative descriptive study uses primary and secondary data from production activities in 2024 to evaluate the profitability and feasibility of the business. The analysis results show that this business is profitable with revenue of Rp. 195,437,334. The Revenue Cost (R/C) Ratio of 1.30 indicates business feasibility, where every Rp. 1,000 expenditure generates IDR . 1,300 in revenue. The Break Even Point (BEP) analysis supports these findings, showing that the actual selling volume and price of all product variants far exceed the break-even point, with the highest profit margin in the 1.3 kg package. It is concluded that the Manggeng Peanut business at UD. Manggeng Food is not only financially viable but also has a resilient financial foundation and profitable prospects for further development, despite the volatility of raw materials.

Introduction: The “Tirah Baring” Elderly-Friendly Visiting Volunteer Training is a joint program aimed at enhancing the quality of life for elderly individuals in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), namely in the Gamping District and adjacent areas. Bedridden or housebound elderly individuals are more susceptible to social isolation, health issues (such as pressure ulcers), and neglect, imposing a significant strain on family caregivers. This initiative aims to empower the local community by providing volunteer training, thereby equipping them to offer proficient and compassionate support. Methods: Outlines how the study was conducted, including the sample, data collection, and analysis methods. Results: Summarizes the key findings of the study, often referencing relevant tables or figures. Abstract

Analysis of Padang District Court Decision Plaintiff Name Aleta Salomi Derica Kale-Pa Number 190/Pdt.G/2018/PN.Kpg., concerning joint property grants. The legal issues raised in this analysis are: How is the analysis of the determination of joint property in Decision Number 190/Pdt.G/2018/PN.Kpg? And how can grants and control over the object of the grant be categorized as unlawful acts in Decision Number 190/Pdt.G/2018/PN.Kpg? The method used in this analysis is the IRAC Method which is a legal reasoning method with issue analysis (I), rule of law (R), argument (A), and conclusion (C). Several legal issues analyzed from the decision are to determine the object of the grant, in this case land, which is joint property, the judge's first step is to prove that the plaintiff and the landowner are husband and wife as evidenced by the Marriage Certificate. Then the next proof is related to the determination of joint property as evidenced by the land sale and purchase document. Regarding the sale and purchase process, it is also supported by the testimony of witnesses who in essence state that the witnesses know directly about the sale and purchase of the land. The grant in Decision Number 190/Pdt.G/2018/PN.Kpg has been declared as an unlawful act because the object of the grant has been proven to be joint property that was granted without the consent of the Plaintiff as the wife of the landowner. Thus, the grant is declared contrary to Article 36 paragraph 1 of Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage, Article 1666 of the Civil Code and Article 584 of the Civil Code. So based on the civil legal basis, the grant made by an unauthorized party must be declared null and void as an absolute nullity with all its legal consequences. Thus, according to the research, the decision of Decision Number 190/Pdt.G/2018/PN.Kpg is correct because the judge's considerations are in accordance with the concrete evidence as submitted by the parties.

Abstract

Terdapat beberapa faktor penyebab rendahnya pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi, salah satunya yaitu kurangnya produksi ASI. Ketidaklancaran ASI dapat dibagi menjadi empat bagian yaitu tidak keluar sama sekali (agalaksia), ASI sedikit (oligolaksia), dan ASI yang terlalu banyak (poligalaksia). Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif analitik dengan jenis desain penelitian crossectional untuk melihat Hubungan Stress Psikologis dengan Produksi ASI pada ibu menyusui. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Rawat Inap Pijoan Baru pada Bulan Maret 2024. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu menyusui di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Rawat Inap Pijoan Baru yaitu sebanyak 37 ibu. Sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling Uji statistik menggunakan Chi-square dengan taraf signifikansi 5 %. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian produksi lancar sebanyak 19 (51.4%) responden dan mengalami stress psikologis ringan sebanyak 23 (62.2%) responden. Hasil uji statistik diperoleh nilai p-value=0.000 maka dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan Stress Psikologis dengan Produksi ASI pada ibu menyusui di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Rawat Inap Pijoan Baru Tahun 2024. Diharapkan kepada petugas kesehatan dapat melakukan konseling terhadap ibu nifas agar memperhatikan keadaan psikologis ibu nifas dan mengikuti penyuluhan yang diberikan oleh petugas kesehatan agar menambah pengetauan ibu mengenai pentingnya menjaga kondisi kesehatan fisik dan psikologis selama menyusui sehingga berpengaruh terhadap produksi ASI.

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat mengenai pengembangan jamu instan kunyit asam dengan pendekatan edukasi partisipatif di Desa Sumber Makmur. Berawal dari fakta masyarakat yang masih menggunakan jamu tradisional yang memerlukan proses perebusan yang lama, kurang bersih, dan tidak awet. Situasi ini menunjukkan perlunya inovasi dalam produk jamu yang lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan zaman, seperti jamu instan kunyit asam, yaitu suplemen herbal dalam bentuk bubuk yang mudah diseduh, bersih, tahan lama, serta dikemas secara modern dan menarik. Kunyit (Curcuma longa L.) dipilih karena mengandung kurkumin yang berfungsi sebagai antiinflamasi, antioksidan, dan antibakteri. Di sisi lain, asam jawa (Tamarindus indica L.) memiliki asam organik yang efektif untuk memperlancar pencernaan, menyegarkan tubuh, dan membantu menjaga kesehatan secara alami. Program ini menerapkan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang menekankan peran aktif masyarakat dalam setiap langkah, mulai dari penentuan masalah, perencanaan, pelatihan, hingga evaluasi. Edukasi partisipatif dilakukan melalui sosialisasi, diskusi kelompok, dan workshop pembuatan jamu instan kunyit asam.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to implement digitalization of information technology to improve academic competence and character building of students at SMK Mustafa Perbaungan. This activity is motivated by the limited use of digital technology in learning which impacts low participation, motivation, and strengthening of student character. The implementation method includes needs analysis, planning, training and mentoring the use of digital learning media, and evaluation. Digitalization is carried out through the use of information technology-based applications that support interactive, collaborative, and fun learning by actively involving teachers and students. The results of the activity show an increase in student understanding, skills, motivation, and activeness, the formation of positive character, and increased teacher competence in designing and implementing digital learning effectively, thus contributing positively to the quality of learning and strengthening student character at SMK Mustafa Perbaungan.
