Abstract

The construction industry continues to grow rapidly, making quality and punctuality essential in completing projects on time. Effective time management plays a key role in minimizing delays. This study focuses on a Truss Frame fabrication project at PT PQR, which was initially planned for 26 working days but ultimately required 326 working hours due to early delays. While the project still met the client's deadline, the delay posed a risk to other company projects. To optimize scheduling, the study applied the Critical Path Method (CPM) and Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT). The analysis showed that CPM reduced the project duration to 314 hours, whereas PERT resulted in 319 hours with a 79% success probability. Compared to the actual 326-hour duration, CPM provided a 12-hour time reduction, making it the more efficient method. The project’s critical path was A-B-D-E-F-G-H-I-J, with activity C (Cutting Plan) requiring completion before the 88th hour. These findings highlight CPM’s effectiveness in optimizing Truss Frame project scheduling at PT PQR. Keywords: CPM, Construction Project, PERT, Project Management

Abstract

This study aims to compare the efficiency of the Branch and Bound (B&B) and Cheapest Insertion Heuristics (CIH) methods in solving the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) for optimizing delivery routes at PT BT. The study was conducted to determine the shortest delivery route, which has implications for fuel cost savings. Primary data in the form of delivery routes to five customer locations were analyzed using manual calculations and validated using the WinQSB software. The results show that the B&B method produces a route with a total distance of 114.6 km and fuel cost savings of 13.444% compared to the original route, while the CIH method provides a distance of 114.8 km with savings of 13.293%. Although both methods show almost similar results, the B&B method is superior in minimizing distance and costs. This study provides recommendations for PT BT to implement the B&B method as an optimal solution in distribution management, in order to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Abstract

Effective inventory management is essential for manufacturing companies to ensure smooth production processes. This study was conducted in the Production Department, which faces challenges in managing the inventory of FM Machine dies, including irregular stock turnover, an excess of rarely used items, and shortages of high-rotation items. This research aims to apply the Fast Moving, Slow Moving, Non-Moving (FSN) Analysis method based on the Turn Over Ratio (TOR) to classify inventory according to its movement levels. Historical inventory data of dies from January to December 2023 were analyzed to calculate average inventory, partial TOR, storage duration, and annual TOR. The results showed that out of 53 types of dies, 43% were categorized as Fast Moving, 32% as Slow Moving, and 25% as Non-Moving. These findings provide a framework for optimizing inventory management by prioritizing procurement based on actual needs. In conclusion, the FSN Analysis method based on TOR is effective in creating an efficient inventory management system, reducing storage costs, and ensuring the availability of items to support smooth operations. This study contributes by presenting a practical approach that can be applied across various manufacturing sectors to enhance production efficiency. Abstract

One of the often neglected aspects of body health is dental and oral health, which is commonly seen in young children. One of the issues is tooth decay, caused by inadequate dental and oral hygiene practices. This community service activity aims to educate students in Kindergarten (TK) about the importance of maintaining dental health from an early age, as well as to teach proper tooth brushing techniques and introduce foods that are healthy for the teeth. The activity was carried out at TK Dharma Wanita Gandusari, Blitar Regency, on September 1, 2025, with a total of 68 kindergarten children and 5 accompanying teachers. The methods used included interactive lectures, demonstrations, hands-on tooth brushing practice, and educational games. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in children's knowledge about dental health. This was evidenced by an average of 38% before the activity, which then increased to 88% after the activity. After this event, the children became more enthusiastic and started to get into the habit of brushing their teeth twice a day properly. This activity proved that a fun and interactive educational approach is very effective in instilling the habit of maintaining dental hygiene from an early age. Continuous support from teachers and parents is needed so that clean and healthy living behaviors, especially in maintaining dental health, can continue to be practiced by children both at home and at school.

Abstract

Pancasila, as the state foundation and philosophical basis of national education mandated by the National Education System Law Article 2, should serve as an ontological, epistemological, and axiological foundation in every national curriculum. This study aims to analyze and compare the educational philosophy underlying two curriculums and assess the extent to which Pancasila’s educational philosophy is adopted as a philosophical basis. The method used comparative analysis of official curriculum documents, namely Permendikbud No. 57–59 of 2014 (2013 Curriculum) and Permendikbudristek No. 12 of 2024 and Permendikdasmen No. 13 of 2025 (Merdeka Curriculum). The analysis employed thematic content analysis across three dimensions: (1) Philosophical Foundation, (2) Integration of Pancasila, and (3) Philosophical Depth. Results show that the 2013 Curriculum is dominated by progressivism and essentialism philosophies, with partial and normative-moral integration of Pancasila limited to the first three principles. In contrast, the Merdeka Curriculum integrates Pancasila holistically across eight graduate profile dimensions, covering all principles and beginning to engage ontological, epistemological, and axiological levels through a deep learning approach. The Merdeka Curriculum aligns more closely with the idealistic philosophy of Pancasila education than the 2013 Curriculum. The findings imply a need for an explicit philosophical foundation in the curriculum and adequate teacher training so that Pancasila becomes a strong philosophical foundation rather than merely a normative message.

Abstract

This research aims to develop the Pancasila Fortress Campus Tourism Model at Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta as a character-learning strategy grounded in Pancasila values. The research approach uses mixed methods with descriptive qualitative dominance. Data were obtained through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation involving 148 students of SMA Persatuan Kedungpring Lamongan and 12 mentors, with 100 students as questionnaire respondents. Qualitative data analysis used Miles and Huberman's interactive model, and the instrument's reliability was assessed using Cronbach's Alpha, yielding a value of 0.891, indicating high internal consistency. The study's results show that Pancasila Fort Campus Tourism activities significantly strengthen participants' character, particularly in tolerance, nationalism, and cultural appreciation. The developed model consists of five main components: understanding of the learning model, activity design, implementation, evaluation, and general assessment. Participants responded positively, with an average score in the good-to-very good range, and 90% stated that this program is feasible to implement continuously. This finding confirms that campus tourism is not only a means of introducing the university environment but also an effective experiential learning medium for internalizing Pancasila values in context. This model has the potential to be replicated across various educational institutions as a best practice for strengthening character education.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the importance of understanding the relationship between physical condition and technical skills in early age soccer. The problem raised was the lack of clarity regarding the direct relationship between running speed and dribbling skills in young players at SSB Bhirawa Tirtoyudo. The purpose of this study was to analyze the significant relationship between speed and soccer dribbling skills. The method used was quantitative correlational with a sample of 35 players selected purposively. The research instruments were a 30-meter running speed test and a standardized zig-zag dribbling test. The data were analyzed using Pearson's correlation test after fulfilling the assumptions of normality and linearity. The results showed a strong and significant negative relationship between speed and dribbling skills (r = -0.726, p < 0.001). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.527 indicated that 52.7% of the variation in dribbling skills was influenced by speed. The conclusion of this study is that speed is a determining factor that greatly contributes to dribbling quality. Implicitly, coaches are advised to integrate speed training into dribbling skill development programs to optimize the holistic performance of young players.
