Abstract

Interprofessional collaboration is an essential component of healthcare delivery and is closely associated with healthcare workers’ satisfaction. This study explores the relationship between healthcare workers’ perceptions of collaborative practice, measured using the Collaborative Practice Assessment Tool (CPAT), work tenure, and job satisfaction at Amalia Medika Hospital. A quantitative correlational design was employed, involving all 123 healthcare workers through a total sampling technique. Data were collected using the CPAT questionnaire and a standardized job satisfaction scale. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted after meeting classical assumption tests, including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. The results demonstrate that perceptions of collaborative practice are positively and significantly related to job satisfaction (p < 0.05), indicating that stronger perceptions of teamwork are associated with higher satisfaction in daily work activities. In contrast, work tenure shows no significant relationship with job satisfaction (p > 0.05), suggesting that satisfaction is more strongly influenced by factors such as opportunities for self-development, organizational support, and recognition at work. Simultaneously, perceptions of collaborative practice and work tenure are jointly related to job satisfaction, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 26.9%. Among the two variables, perceptions of collaborative practice exhibit a more dominant association with job satisfaction. These findings underscore the importance of fostering effective interprofessional collaboration as a key strategy for enhancing healthcare workers’ job satisfaction at Amalia Medika Hospital.

Abstract

Klinik kecantikan memerlukan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang optimal untuk menjaga kualitas layanan. Pelatihan dan pemberian insentif menjadi strategi penting dalam meningkatkan prestasi kerja karyawan. Namun, di JPP Skin Laser Clinic Jakarta ditemukan sebagian karyawan belum menguasai prosedur terbaru dan merasa kurang termotivasi akibat sistem insentif yang belum maksimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran (mixed methods) dengan desain eksploratori sekuensial (sequential exploratory design). Tahap pertama adalah kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap 5 partisipan yang dipilih secara purposive, bertujuan menggali pengalaman dan persepsi terkait pelatihan serta insentif. Temuan tahap kualitatif digunakan untuk menyusun instrumen kuantitatif berupa kuesioner yang kemudian diberikan kepada seluruh karyawan tetap (total sampling, n = 45). Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan uji t, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi melalui SPSS. Pelatihan (X1) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi karyawan (Y), terutama dalam peningkatan keterampilan pelayanan. Insentif (X2) juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi karyawan, khususnya dalam memotivasi karyawan dengan beban kerja tinggi. Uji simultan menunjukkan pelatihan dan insentif secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja. Hasil penelitian mendukung teori bahwa peningkatan kompetensi melalui pelatihan rutin dan pemberian insentif yang adil dapat meningkatkan kinerja. Pihak manajemen perlu memastikan materi pelatihan sesuai perkembangan teknologi estetika serta meninjau transparansi dan kesesuaian sistem insentif dengan kontribusi karyawan.

Abstract

Transformasi sistem pembiayaan kesehatan melalui program Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional mengubah dinamika kunjungan pasien di rumah sakit swasta. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis strategi pemasaran Rumah Sakit Santa Maria Pekanbaru dalam menghadapi pergeseran pasien dari pembiayaan personal ke BPJS serta mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi efektivitas strategi tersebut. Metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap delapan informan, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman serta analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan strategi pemasaran mengalami transformasi dari konvensional menjadi edukatif, kolaboratif, dan humanis dengan penerapan bauran pemasaran 7P secara konsisten. Faktor internal meliputi akreditasi Paripurna, SDM kompeten, dan fasilitas modern, sedangkan faktor eksternal mencakup persaingan ketat dan kebijakan rujukan BPJS. Matriks SWOT menghasilkan empat alternatif strategi yaitu SO, WO, ST, dan WT yang memberikan arahan komprehensif bagi manajemen dalam merumuskan strategi pemasaran adaptif dan berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kunjungan pasien serta mempertahankan keseimbangan pelayanan BPJS dan non-BPJS.

Abstract

The correctional system and the process of social reintegration still face social stigma toward women who come into conflict with the law. Female inmates face layered stigma because they are considered to deviate from social norms and are seen as criminals. This is a vulnerable group. The aim of this research is to see how vulnerable groups of women at the Class IIA Women's Correctional Institution in Kerobokan, Bali, can turn stigma into opportunities. This study uses qualitative methodology and is designed as a case study. Data were collected thru limited observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation research involving female inmates, prison officers, and supporters of the rehabilitation program. To identify patterns of rehabilitation strategies and experiences of stigma transformation, data analysis was conducted thematically. The research results show that inmates experience stigma both personally and socially, but it can be transformed thru a rehabilitation approach that includes the development of useful skills, strengthening their identity, and institutional support from the prison environment. This strategy enhances the confidence and readiness of inmates for life after incarceration. This research concludes that the elimination of stigma on female inmates is a strategic process influenced by a holistic and contextual rehabilitation approach. The results provide an empirical basis for creating more inclusive and socially reintegrative policies for female inmates.

Abstract

The adoption of Enhanced Recovery After Caesarean Surgery (ERACS) has increased due to its clinical advantages; however, patients’ willingness to choose this method remains limited, particularly in relation to economic considerations and hospital service conditions. This study aimed to examine the influence of patients’ perceptions of service fees and hospital facilities on their decision to choose cesarean section using the ERACS method at RSU Prima Medika Tulungagung. A quantitative analytic approach with a cross-sectional design was employed. Data were collected from 43 ERACS patients using structured questionnaires and analyzed through multiple linear regression, supported by t-tests and F-tests at a 5% significance level. The findings revealed that patients’ perceptions of service fees had a positive and statistically significant effect on the decision to select ERACS (β = 0.479; p = 0.002). In contrast, perceptions of hospital facilities did not show a significant effect (β = -0.162; p = 0.341). Simultaneously, service fees and facilities significantly influenced patient decision-making (F = 8.167; p = 0.001), with an adjusted R² value of 0.254. These results indicate that perceived service fees are the dominant factor in patients’ decisions to choose ERACS, while hospital facilities function as a supporting element. Improving cost transparency and strengthening patient education may enhance informed decision-making regarding ERACS services.

Abstract

Abstrak: Infeksi Daerah Operasi (IDO) merupakan salah satu indikator utama keselamatan pasien yang masih menjadi tantangan di berbagai rumah sakit, khususnya di negara berkembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi penerapan patient safety dan pengelolaan limbah medis, baik secara terpisah maupun simultan, terhadap penurunan kejadian IDO. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi logistik dan simulasi Monte Carlo pada 31 sampel pasien pascaoperasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan patient safety secara umum belum menunjukkan kontribusi signifikan terhadap penurunan IDO, namun analisis lanjutan terhadap enam sasaran keselamatan pasien (Six Goals of Patient Safety) mengidentifikasi tiga area krusial yang berkontribusi signifikan, yakni ketepatan prosedur pembedahan, pencegahan risiko infeksi layanan kesehatan, dan pencegahan cedera akibat insiden jatuh. Pengelolaan limbah medis menunjukkan kontribusi signifikan terhadap penurunan IDO, dengan fokus pada pemisahan limbah infeksius, penyimpanan tertutup, dan pemusnahan tepat waktu. Ketika kedua variabel patient safety dan pengelolaan limbah medis diintegrasikan, probabilitas penurunan kejadian IDO meningkat secara substansial, mencapai rentang 84–96%. Temuan ini menjadi dasar ilmiah bagi perumusan kebijakan rumah sakit yang menggabungkan pendekatan klinis dan lingkungan dalam satu sistem pertahanan berlapis terhadap infeksi

Abstract

Human Resource Management (HRM) has developed into a strategic and knowledge-based discipline, yet many studies apply theoretical and analytical approaches without explicitly examining the philosophical assumptions underlying HRM research and practice. This limited reflection may reduce theoretical coherence, methodological consistency, and ethical accountability. This study examines how the ontological, epistemological, and axiological dimensions of the philosophy of science contribute to strengthening the theoretical, methodological, and ethical foundations of Human Resource Management. Using a qualitative thematic literature review, 54 academic publications published between 2018 and 2025 were systematically analyzed through iterative coding and thematic synthesis. The findings show that philosophical assumptions are widely embedded but rarely made explicit in HRM research. Ontological perspectives are often rhetorical, epistemological approaches are dominated by quantitative and data-driven methods, and axiological considerations are acknowledged but weakly institutionalized. This uneven integration sustains a gap between philosophical principles and HRM practice. The study proposes an integrative conceptual model linking philosophical dimensions to HR practices and organizational outcomes. The study concludes that philosophy of science can serve as a reflective framework to support more coherent, ethically grounded, and context-sensitive HRM research and practice.

Abstract

Limited human resources and infrastructure at Pantai Amal Community Health Center in Tarakan trigger occupational stress and task complexity during routine services, health programs, performance evaluations, and accreditation processes. This study aims to analyze the influence of work environment and workload on occupational stress among employees at Pantai Amal Community Health Center in Tarakan City. This study adopted a mixed-methods approach via a cross-sectional design, involving 30 purposively sampled employees from Pantai Amal Puskesmas. Quantitative analysis evaluated work environment and workload effects on job stress, while qualitative insights deepened comprehension of these factors' real-world impacts. Findings confirm both factors significantly influence job stress, consistent with Gibson's theory that stress emerges when demands exceed physical or psychological capacities. Practically, these results guide Puskesmas Pantai Amal management in developing effective workload policies, improving work environments, and fostering supportive conditions to reduce employee stress and enhance well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of training and work motivation on employee performance at the Bandung Regency Land Office, both partially and simultaneously. The study used a mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design. Quantitative data were collected through questionnaires from 78 employees and analyzed using partial least squares-based structural equation modeling. Qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews with leaders, supervisors, and implementing employees to enrich the interpretation of the quantitative results. The results indicate that training and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation has a stronger influence than training. Simultaneously, these two variables explain a significant portion of the variation in employee performance. Qualitative findings reveal that training effectiveness is influenced by the suitability of the material to job requirements and organizational support, while work motivation is driven primarily by the meaning of work and public service orientation. This study concludes that improving employee performance in public organizations requires integrated management of training and work motivation, supported by an adequate work environment and leadership.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation, approach, and strategy of productivity-based financial management of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Kotabaru District, Karawang Regency. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving BUMDes management and relevant stakeholders. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of BUMDes financial management has been carried out through sequential stages, namely financial planning, fund utilization, financial recording, financial reporting, as well as accountability and evaluation. The productivity-based financial management approach is oriented toward the effective use of financial resources to support productive and sustainable village business activities. Meanwhile, the financial management strategy to enhance business productivity is implemented through strengthening business-oriented budgeting, improving financial administration, and reinforcing policy support from the village government along with the commitment of BUMDes management. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the financial management of BUMDes in Kotabaru District, Karawang Regency has been administratively implemented and oriented toward productivity. However, further improvement in human resource capacity and continuous assistance is still required to optimize the performance and sustainability of BUMDes business activities.
