Abstract

Product innovation has a positive effect on MSME performance. So, product innovation has a positive effect on the performance of MSMEs accepted. Products with interesting and creative innovations will be in demand in the market so that they will improve the performance of MSMEs. A city's economic development requires appropriate action to maximize existing resources through the financial management of MSME actors. One of the solutions to control financial management is to form a UMK Sentra, as a center that can become a forum for its members. Therefore, MSES need to have good financial management to improve their business performance. This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness of financial management at the UMK Center on Jalan Sei Serayu Number 103, Tanjung Rejo, Medan Sunggal District, Medan City, North Sumatra. This study uses qualitative methods through observation and interviews with key informants at MSE centers. From the results of the research, the majority of MSME performance members in Medan City did not experience many obstacles that could affect the growth and sustainability of their business due to the existence of the UMK Sentra group as a center of knowledge for its members. In Medan City, the local government and the MSE Sentra group work well together in managing finances and business. In this study, the system applied to the MSME performance Sentra group in Medan City proved effective in opening opportunities for MSME performance to advance their business and improve their economic welfare to meet the Empowerment index standard.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 telah berdampak besar pada berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat, termasuk ekonomi, yang sangat terpengaruh oleh krisis kesehatan masyarakat yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya. Akibatnya, banyak bisnis yang terpaksa tutup dan beralih ke platform digital untuk bertahan dari krisis dan berkembang dalam jangka panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang mendorong dan menghambat inovasi digital pada UMKM selama masa disrupsi ekonomi, khususnya dari sudut pandang wirausahawan muda di Kota Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang rinci dan deskriptif tentang masalah tersebut. Peneliti melakukan wawancara mendalam dengan 30 wirausahawan di Kota Bekasi untuk mengeksplorasi dampak positif dan negatif dari pandemi terhadap inovasi wirausaha dalam bertransisi ke platform digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor eksternal (kendala pasar dan permintaan) dan internal (pertumbuhan pribadi dan profesional) mendorong inovasi digital di UMKM selama dan setelah pandemi. Pandemi telah berdampak secara tidak proporsional pada UMKM karena mereka kekurangan sumber daya perusahaan besar dalam hal pembiayaan, manajemen, dan teknologi. Studi ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi para partisipan saat menjalankan bisnis online pascapandemi, seperti keterampilan yang dibutuhkan, kekhawatiran terkait pasar pada platform digital, dan kualitas internet. Temuan ini dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan program yang mendukung wirausahawan selama masa gangguan ekonomi dan untuk membuat kebijakan dan strategi pemerintah untuk mempromosikan kewirausahaan digital, terutama di negara-negara berkembang pasca pandemi.

Abstract

This study proposes to examine human resource management strategies that impact the performance outcomes of non-permanent (honorary) employees in the Bandung government. Qualitative research methodology was applied to gain a comprehensive understanding. This research was conducted in the Bandung City government by conducting observations and interviews with 10 participants. Furthermore, the collected data was analyzed using Atlas.ti qualitative software. All transcribed information was scrutinised and sorted based on the research questions. Data that met the research objectives were organized into sub-categories, reflecting similar characteristics. The research findings show that the performance of honorary employees in the Bandung City government is shaped by a combination of "hard" and "soft" approaches in human resource management. Improving employee performance within the Bandung City government is a top priority for the effectiveness of public services, thus requiring further improvement and a more in-depth strategic assessment. This study proposes implementing an integrated approach that includes both "hard" and "soft" human resource management techniques and the development of a culture of continuous learning and strong management dedication.

Abstract

Population administration services are in charge as a crucial and strategic agent in ensuring the integrity of population data. In consequence, there is a requirement for the government to continuously improve and enhance the quality of these services. The research applies qualitative methods with a case study focus to examine the process and implications of a hybrid program that integrates government elements and spiritual values, known as Subuh Keliling Sukseskan Administrasi Kependudukan Terintegrasi (Suling Sakti). It was initiated by the Population and Civil Registration Office in Malang, East Java. In collecting data, this research applied observation, documentation, and interview techniques. The data analysis process is divided into three steps: data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The result found that the "Suling Sakti" for the Population and Civil Registration Office, which is implemented after Shubuh prayer, provides easy access to population administration services for the community without having to visit the office. In its planning, the program went through two important key phases: agenda setting and adjustment. The implementation phase includes three stages: redefinition, clarification, and routine, to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of the program in the future. The recommendations from this study are geared towards the development of more comprehensive and sustainable programs in the public service sector in the future.

Abstract

Tuan Guru Haji (TGH) Muhammad Mutawalli is one of the figures who have an important role in shaping and instilling spiritual education for wetu telu worshipers through the naqsyabandiyah wal-qadiriyah tarekat approach. The purpose of this research is to explore and find out TGH Muhammad Mutawalli's opinion on strengthening the spiritual education of the Wetu Telu congregation and the extent to which spiritual education is being strengthened. The method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach, where this research seeks to uncover the hidden meaning behind the phenomenon of the Wetu Telu community in the Terara sub-district, East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. Data collection in this study was conducted using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of data found in the field. The results showed that the teachings of TGH Muhammad Mutawalli took the teachings of the Naqsyabandiyah Qadiriyah tarekat as a basis. This tarekat reflects the harmonization of various tarekat teachings, such as Naqsyabandiyah, Syaziliyah, Ghazaliyyah, and Syuhrawardiyyah. The spiritual education of the Sasak Wetu Telu community focuses on developing a love for Allah SWT, respect for nature, oral traditions, literary arts, and pepaosan as a store of spiritual messages. In conclusion, the teachings of TGH Muhammad Mutawalli in strengthening the spiritual education of the wetu telu congregation are indicated by the strength of the spirituality of the wetu telu congregation or the strengthening of belief in Allah SWT, the increasing intensity of worship of the wetu telu congregation, the establishment of houses of worship, and the creation of harmonization in the level of the social life of the community.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of transformational leadership, organizational culture, and work-life balance on the performance of lecturers and teaching staff, as regulated by academic supervision. Using an associative approach, the research sampled one hundred lecturers and utilized questionnaires and observations as research instruments. The findings reveal that academic supervision does not moderate the effect of transformational leadership on performance. However, it can moderate the effect of organizational culture on performance, while it does not moderate the effect of work-life balance on performance. This indicates that academic supervision does not entirely attenuate the impacts of transformational leadership, work-life balance, and organizational culture on the performance of lecturers at various tertiary institutions within LLDIKTI III. The implications of these findings are significant for the management and administration of tertiary institutions. Institutions should recognize that while academic supervision is a valuable tool for enhancing performance, its effectiveness is contingent upon the broader organizational context. Tailoring academic supervision practices to align with the specific cultural dynamics of the institution can maximize its positive impact on performance. Moreover, ensuring that lecturers maintain a healthy work-life balance is crucial for sustaining high performance, independent of supervisory practices.

Abstract

This research aims to focus on analysing how website-based SKP in Medan City to form Smart ASN is carried out. The method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. The data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, direct observation or observation, and documentation. Researchers used interactive model analysis as an analysis technique in this study. Data analysis begins with reviewing all available data from various sources. After reviewing, the next step is data reduction, unit arrangement, categorisation, and data interpretation. Data presentation was done with narrative text and pictures. The last stage is conclusion drawing or verification, where researchers express conclusions from the data obtained during the data collection. The results showed that the Medan City Government had encouraged organisational success through professional ASN HR performance management. One method is a measurable employee performance appraisal system using a website-based online SKP management system. The Medan City Government's working mechanism follows the Agile work scale concept. ASN core values become a strong foundation for strengthening work culture and become a guide in implementing ASN performance management to support the implementation of e-government towards Smart ASN. Smart ASN is a digital talent and leader supporting bureaucratic transformation in Indonesia. On the other hand, there are weaknesses when giving assessments to ASN by other ASN colleagues that are often not realised, namely the existence of a culture of reluctance in giving assessments. As a recommendation, coordination with the central government can overcome the overlapping management systems implemented to make it easier for ASNs to achieve their performance targets

Abstract

A political communication strategy is a communication plan and guide, so it must show theoperational method that functions as a direction to achieve the goal. Eko has run three times as amember of the Sragen DPRD, namely in 2009, 2014 and 2019. However, in 2014 he failed, sohe evaluated his communication strategy and won again in 2019. This research aims to describehow Eko Muji Suharto's political communication strategy from PDI Perjuangan in winningthe seat of Sragen DPRD member. The type of data used in this research is qualitative data. Thedata sources used are primary data sources and secondary data. This research uses the interviewmethod conducted on Eko Muji Suharto, 2 Jatitengah Village communities, and 2 PDIPerjuangan cadres. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, datapresentation and verification carried out during the research. The results of the study are firstseen from the communicator aspect, he meets the requirements to be a good politicalcommunicator as measured by his capacity, competence, personality, and education. Measuredfrom the aspect of the message, namely the political message conveyed contains the vision andmission and is in accordance with what is the unrest and needs of the community. Measuredfrom the aspect of the recipient of Eko's political message is also targeted precisely at all peoplewho already have the right to vote. So that in the aspect of the effects arising from thecommunication strategy carried out by Eko it worked well, namely in the form of support fromthe audience.Keywords: PDI Perjuangan, Winning seats, DPRD

Abstract

Abstract. The study aims to test how much Peer Support influences self-efficacy in career decision-making in graduate students in Bandung Raya. Peer support is defined as the process of obtaining career-related information and advice, emotional support, and guidance from peers. CDSE is the level of confidence that an individual has in his ability to complete career related tasks measured through five skills: self appraisal, gathering occupational information, goal selection, making plans, and problem solving. The approach used in this study is quantitative non-experimental with cross-sectional research design performed on a total of 326 subjects. Sampling methods are non probability sampling and convenience samplings. The results of this study show that Peer Support has a positive influence on career decisions self efficacy, which is demonstrated by p value 0.00 and beta value of 0.970. The Peer Support scale research measurement was adapted by Salim et al based on the Zhang & Huang theory. Career Decision Self Efficacy was adopted by Sawitri based on Taylor & Betz theory, and the results showed that peer support had an influence on career decision self-efficacy of 44.9% and 55.1% was influenced by other variables. Abstrak. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menguji seberapa besar pengaruh Peer Support terhadap Career Decision Self Efficacy pada Mahasiswa Tingkat akhir di Bandung Raya. Peer Support didefinisikan sebagai proses mendapatkan informasi dan nasihat yang berkaitan dengan karir , dukungan emosi, dan panutan dari teman sebaya. Sedangkan, CDSE didefinisikan sebagai tingkat keyakinan yang dimiliki individu tentang kemampuannya menyelesaikan tugas terkait karir yang diukur melalui lima kemampuan yaitu, self appraisal, gathering occupational information, goal selection, making plans, dan problem solving. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif non eksperimen dengan desain penelitian cross-sectional yang dilakukan pada Subjek penelitian sebanyak 326. Metode pengambilan sampel yaitu non probability sampling tengan Teknik convenience sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini terlihat bahwa Peer Support memiliki pengaruh positif pada career decisions self efficacy, yang ditunjukan oleh p value 0.00 dan nilai beta sebesar 0.970. Alat ukur penelitian skala Peer Support diadaptasi oleh Salim et al berdasarkan teori Zhang & Huang. Career Decision Self Efficacy didaptasi oleh Sawitri berdasarkan teori Taylor & Betz. Abstract

Abstract. In new students, there must be students who are not native to the campus area or can be referred to as migrants. Self-efficacy is an example of several aspects that can impact college adjustment. A person's belief in their ability to carry out a series of responsibilities in order to achieve a predetermined target is called self-efficacy. College adjustment is student well-being related to academic, social, and emotional stability, as well as engagement with the institution. This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy on college adjustment in new migrant students. The method used in this research is quantitative method. The subjects in this study were first-year students who migrated from outside Java in Bandung City as many as 192 individuals. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression. The measuring instrument used in this study is the General self-efficacy Scale (GSES) described by Schwarzer and Jerusalem (1995) and adapted by Deila Adelina (2018). Also, the college adjustment measuring instrument was formed based on the theory and aspects described by Baker & Siryk (1984) and adapted by Three Yanti Sumomba (2023). The results of this study indicate that there is a positive influence of self-efficacy on college adjustment new migrant students in Bandung City with a contribution of 80.5%. Abstrak. Pada mahasiswa baru pasti terdapat mahasiswa yang bukan asli dari daerah kampusnya atau dapat disebut sebagai perantau. Self-efficacy adalah sebuah contoh dari beberapa aspek yang dapat memberikan dampak college adjustment. Keyakinan seseorang pada kemampuan dirinya untuk melakukan serangkaian tanggungjawab agar dapat mencapai target yang sudah ditentukan dinamakan dengan self-efficacy. College Adjustment yaitu kesejahteraan mahasiswa berkaitan dengan stabilitas akademik, sosial, dan emosional, serta keterlibatan dengan institusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap college adjustment pada Mahasiswa Baru Rantau. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa tingkat pertama yang merantau berasal dari luar pulau Jawa di Kota Bandung sebanyak 192 individu. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu regresi linier sederhana. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah General self-efficacy Scale (GSES) yang diuraikan oleh Schwarzer dan Jerusalem (1995) dan diadaptasi oleh Deila Adelina (2018). Serta, alat ukur college adjustment dibentuk berdasarkan teori dan aspek-aspek yang diuraikan oleh Baker & Siryk (1984) dan diadaptasi oleh Three Yanti Sumomba (2023). Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa adanya pengaruh positif self-efficacy terhadap college adjustment pada Mahasiswa Baru Rantau di Kota Bandung dengan kontribusi sebesar 80.5%.
