Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) at Hidayah General Hospital Boyolali, focusing on the public perspective regarding patient privacy rights. The research employs a descriptive quantitative method with a survey approach. Data were collected through questionnaires filled out by 100 inpatients. The findings indicate that both the public perspective and patient privacy rights have a significant impact on the implementation of EMR. The public perspective contributes 39.4%, while patient privacy rights contribute 41.0%. Additionally, this study found that the level of EMR implementation is directly influenced by the public perspective (19.9%) and patient privacy rights (23.0%), as well as indirectly through electronic medical records (15.5% and 16.1%). These findings suggest that respecting patient privacy rights and understanding the public perspective are key factors in the successful implementation of EMR. The study recommends enhanced training for healthcare professionals, strengthening privacy policies, and developing feedback systems to improve healthcare service quality.

Abstract

Until the mid-19th century, the Dutch colonialism (the Western world) began to intervene in the indigenous legal systems of Indonesia. The current situation marks the beginning of a decline in the civilization of Muslims, particularly in Indonesia. This development raises concerns about the future of Indonesian society as a whole. This decline permeated various aspects of life, including the field of mu’āmala law, which began to adopt usury-based concepts. This research aims to reconstruct the Islamic legal policy on Ultra-Micro (UMi) Financing as practiced by the Indonesian government, which still contains elements of usury (ribā) in its implementation. This study employs a qualitative approach using empirical-socio-legal research methods involving an analysis of UMi Financing contracts, interviews with stakeholders, and direct observations in Surakarta. The analysis is grounded in the theory of maqāṣid al-sharī’a, including the principles of ribā as outlined in classical Islamic jurisprudence (turāth). The findings reveal a research gap that the current legal policy on Sharia ultra-micro financing implemented by the government had ribā, which is found in classical Islamic texts.

Abstract

Pasal 28 H ayat (1) Undang-Undang Dasar 1945 secara langsung mengatakan bahwa jaminan sosial menjadi hak setiap manusia. Pada Pasal 34 ayat (1) kembali disebutkan landasan konstitusional diperlukannya sistem jaminan sosial. Landasan konstitusional selanjutnya yaitu Undang-Undang Nomor 40 Tahun 2004 tentang Sistem Jaminan Sosial Nasional.

Abstract

Digital technologies drive economic growth in both Indonesia and Uzbekistan. The global economy increasingly depends on the digital economy, reflected in the rise of blockchain systems, digital banking, and other digital activities in the economic sector. This research highlights the importance of digital personal data protection in Uzbekistan and Indonesia and examines its connection to digital economic development in both countries. The study uses a normative legal method that combines statutory and conceptual approaches. The authors examine the relevant laws and explore the concept of personal data protection in each country. The findings present two main points. First, the laws in both countries regulate personal data protection and assign institutional responsibilities across administrative, civil, and criminal domains. Second, when conflicts, data breaches, or criminal actions involving personal data occur, the legal systems provide for resolution through court litigation. Although both countries have implemented personal data protection laws that support digital economic development, they differ in institutional structure, legal procedures, and the scope of authority. Weak personal data protection may hinder the growth of the digital economy in both nations.

Results: At the investigation stage, diversion implementation at the crime of child molestation cannot be carried out because according to Article 7 clause (2) of Law No. 11 of 2012, diversion can only be carried out on children who commit crimes with a prison sentence of less than seven years and are not a repeat of the crime. However, the Ternate City Police Force provides a solution of mediation.
