Abstract

Village regulations are legal products that have their own position in the life of village communities as guidelines for the administration of village government. There is a lack of development facilities that are suitable for the village environment to support the community, thus encouraging the creation of village regulations. The aim of the research is to find out a picture of the implementation of village regulations towards increasing community civic engagement. The research method used is a qualitative approach through observation, in-depth interviews with the community, community institutions and village government and documentation. The results of the research show that the implementation of village regulations on community civic engagement takes the form of implementation of village regulations by building facilities and infrastructure in the form of roads and banjars, bridges, irrigation and water gates, as well as installing street lighting. Description of the implementation of the community being able to contribute, build organization, take action or take action, motivate and be responsible for implementing village regulations. There is a need to increase communication, education and the use of technology to help increase community involvement. Thus, it is hoped that this research will be able to contribute to further understanding of the implementation of village regulations to increase community civic engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of: 1) cognitive style (Field Independent and Field Dependent) on the ability to understand mathematical concepts; 2) application of the geogebra-assisted cycle 7e learning model on the ability to understand mathematical concepts; 3) the interaction between the learning model group (learning cycle 7E learning model, learning cycle learning model 7E assisted by geogebra and conventional learning model) and the cognitive style group on students' mathematical concept understanding abilities. Quasi experimental design is used as a research method with data collection techniques using concept understanding tests and cognitive style tests. The two-way ANOVA test was used to find answers to the research objectives that had previously been tested for normality and homogeneity tests. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that: 1) The application of the 7E learning cycle learning model with geogebra has a good effect on the ability to understand mathematical concepts; 2) cognitive style has no effect on mathematical understanding ability; and 3) there is no interaction between the learning model group and the cognitive style group on the ability to understand mathematical concepts.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the development of interpretations to strengthen mathematical thinking in comparative material, using worksheets developed for class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Embaloh Hilir. This study uses a 4D model which consists of 4 stages, namely definition, design, development and dissemination. Students in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Embaloh Hilir are the research subjects. The research results were obtained from each stage of the implementation of development activities using the 4D model with the instrument questions in the LKPD and interviews. The results of research on class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Embaloh Hilir show that the development of interpretation through LKPD is feasible and can improve mathematical thinking skills. This is shown from the results of the LKPD work which obtained an average of 71.87. Students use interpretation abilities when working on questions in LKPD so that students' mathematical thinking indicators become good.

Abstract

When mastering mathematical concepts, it is rather difficult to avoid misconceptions. Beginner's understanding that does not match scientific concepts is often found in learners and even teachers. The effect of a learner's misconception is certainly different from the teachers. An educator's misconception can be misleading for himself and around his friends only. However as a teacher, misconceptions can affect many learners. Especially those who do not have stability and resilience in concept mastery. The reliance or resilience that learners have is not only emotional and attitudinal, but cognitive resilience or mastery that is measurable and ready with scientific reasons should reach many learners. There are many theories of misconception from experts. The author introduces the Bis-VOLKS misconceptions, namely: (1) visual misconceptions; (2) operational misconceptions; (3) literational misconceptions; (4) correlational misconceptions; and (5) spatial misconceptions. Visual can be defined as anything that the eye can see.  Visual misconception means an error in perceiving something through eye observation. There are four visual elements that need to be known. Operational misconceptions are errors that arise as a result of incorrect basic and advanced operations. Literacy can be defined as the ability to read, write, and understand written texts. Literacy includes the ability to process, analyze and present information through text. About literational, the concept is broader and includes more than just the ability to read and write. Correlational can be interpreted as a study that explores the causal relationship of two or more aspects. Correlational misconceptions result from errors that arise in uncovering different causes and effects in scientific concepts. Spatial misconceptions. Spatial ability is an ability that includes spatiality and all its applications.  Spatial ability refers to a person's ability to understand and manipulate objects in space. It involves the perception and understanding of spatial relationships between objects, directions, and surrounding space.

Abstract

The general objective of this research is to find out the leaflet development process which is studied in the dimension of critical reasoning on data and opportunity analysis elements in class IV SD Negeri 39 Pontianak Kota. The method used is Research and Development (RnD) by adopting the ADDIE development model. The data source in this study was a homeroom teacher, 32 students and 2 expert validators. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, questionnaires and observation. The results of the research show that leaflet development is studied in the dimension of critical reasoning through three research steps, namely analysis, design, development. Researchers conducted a needs analysis and curriculum analysis. The steps taken at the design stage were to determine indicators of learning achievement and to design leaflet designs. Based on the results of the data obtained at the development stage, the feasibility of the leaflet development product is reviewed in the critical reasoning dimension obtaining the "very valid" criteria from the validator expert, namely in the presentation aspect getting an average of 5.00, in the design and graphic aspects the average is 4.92, and the material aspect has an average of 4.88. As well as the results of the response obtained the criteria of "very good" that is, on a small scale the average is 4.52 and large-scale trials get an average of 4.34.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to describe the effect of application the mind mapping learning model on the mathematical creative thinking skills of fourth grade students at elementary school using a Nonequivalent control group in experimental research. 34 students from class IV A (the experimental class) and 35 students from class IV C (the control class) from SD Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak made up the research sample. Data collection methods using instruments like essay tests and measurement methods. According to the findings of a statistical analysis. The experimental class's pre-test and post-test results were 36 and 67, respectively. Pre test and post test results for the control group scores were 40 and 55, respectively. Based on the results of the t-test calculation, tcount (4.202)> ttable (1.996) (α = 5% and dk = 67), Ha is then approved. Results are up to 0.7 in the medium criteria according to the effect size calculation. Thus, it can be said that the use of the mind mapping learning paradigm has a beneficial effect on class IV elementary school students' capacity for creative mathematical thought.

Abstract

The need for this research stems from the gap between the ability of contextually based mathematical problem solving that will be attained and the poor ability of contextually based mathematical problem solving among students in schools. This research attempts to describe how well fourth graders at SD Kartika XVII-1 Pontianak are able to solve mathematics problems based on contextually broad material. Descriptive research methodology is employed. Six students were chosen as the sample for this investigation based on preset criteria. Measurements and interviews are the data gathering methods used in this investigation. Test and interview guidelines served as the research instruments. Test and interview data analysis techniques are employed in data analysis. The research findings show that students can solve contextually based problems 46.57% of the time, comprehend contextually based problems 54.38% of the time, create contextually based problem-solving plans 57.89% of the time, execute contextually based problem-solving plans 40.35% of the time, and reassess contextually 32.89% of the time. Based on the results, it can be said that students' contextual-based mathematical problem-solving abilities fall into the moderate category, with the capacity to construct contextually-based solutions plans serving as both an indicator of majority ability and an indicator of minority ability. is the capability of contextually based re-selection.
