Abstract

A cooperative is a group, in which there is various collaborations exist to achieve common goals. The nature of the cooperative itself is a business, which is based on the principles of the people's economic movement and the principle of kinship. Profitability is an indicator for assessing the financial performance of an organization, in this case the Republic of Indonesia Employee Cooperative, Makassar State University (KPRI UNM). This research aims to determine the level of profitability of KPRI UNM for the five years 2018-2022. Data was obtained from the financial report of KPRI Makassar State University which was analyzed using the calculation formula for economic profitability, own capital profitability, and trend analysis. The research results show that the economic profitability and profitability of the capital owned by KPRI UNM during the five years 2018-2022 are each classified as unhealthy. Trend analysis shows that KPRI UNM during the five years 2018-2022 experienced a tendency to decrease remaining operating results.

Abstract

The problem underlying this research is the lack of understanding and interest of students in the science learning process and the lack of learning media used as open materials at SMPN 7 Polewali. Therefore, one effort that can be done is to develop LKPD based on a scientific approach so that students can follow or understand, and be interested in the science learning process. This study aims to determine the design of LKPD development, the feasibility of LKPD and student responses to LKPD based on the developed scientific approach. The type of research used is research and development (Research and development) which refers to the ADDIE model. The object used in this study is the Student Worksheet (LKPD) with the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of the instruments used in this study are validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The results of the study show that: (1) the design of the development of LKPD based on a scientific approach is in the very feasible category, (2) the feasibility of LKPD based on a scientific approach as assessed by media design experts is in the very feasible category (86%), material experts are in the very feasible category (86%) and student responses are in the very feasible category (90%). Thus, it can be concluded that Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on a scientific approach can be used as learning materials in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of export growth and capital structure on the profitability of non-durable household products sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the research period. Profitability remains a crucial indicator of corporate financial performance, especially for manufacturing companies that rely on both domestic and international market dynamics. Export growth is considered an essential driver of revenue expansion, while capital structure reflects financial policy decisions that balance debt and equity financing in accordance with the trade-off theory. To address this objective, the research employs a quantitative approach supported by multiple linear regression analysis processed using SPSS version 26. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique based on specific criteria relevant to the study. The results of the simultaneous F-test show that export growth and capital structure collectively do not have a statistically significant impact on profitability. This is reinforced by the coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.111, indicating that the two independent variables explain only 11.1% of the variation in profitability, while the remaining 88.9% is influenced by other internal and external factors not included in the model. These findings suggest that although export activity and financial leverage policies contribute to corporate financial outcomes, their influence is relatively weak in this specific industrial sub-sector. Therefore, companies should consider additional strategic, operational, and market variables to enhance profitability more effectively in the competitive global market environment.

Abstract

Cultivation of the seaweed Gracilaria verrucosa is necessary as a preventive measure against overexploitation. One applicable method is tissue culture, which requires special attention to nutrient needs to support accelerated growth. These nutrients can be provided through fertilization. One commonly used chemical fertilizer in seaweed tissue culture is Provasoli’s Enriched Seawater (PES). This study aims to determine the optimal PES fertilizer dosage for the production of G. verrucosa seedlings through tissue culture using a vegetative propagation method. This study used a completely randomized design with analysis of variance (ANOVA) consisting of four treatments of different PES fertilizer doses with three replicates for each treatment. The results showed that fertilizer dose variation did not significantly affect the absolute growth of explant weight, but tended to increase the number of growth points. Growth points began to increase in the second week for all treatments, and by the fourth week, the number of growth points at a 1.5% dosage showed a significant difference compared to other doses. The application of PES fertilizer in G. verrucosa seedling production through tissue culture with vegetative propagation indicates that different fertilizer doses do not affect explant growth but significantly influence the increase in growth points by the fourth week

Abstract

Salah satu penyebab penurunan produksi padi di NTB adalah semakin mengerasnya struktur tanah akibat penggunaan pupuk kimia yang berlebihan. Untuk itu perlu upaya perbaikan struktur tanah dengan penggunaan pupuk organik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dimaksudkan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat pedesaan, terutama petani dalam wadah kelompoktani-ternak untuk dapat menerapkan teknologi pembuatan pupuk organik dan pakan ternak. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk: (1) meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap petani melalui pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik dan pakan ternak, dan (2) memproduksi pupuk organik dan pakan ternak. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Penimbung, Kecamatan Gunung Sari, Kabupaten Lombok Barat yang potensi limbah pertaniannya cukup banyak tersedia. Pelaksanaan kegiatan mencakup: sosialisasi, Focus Group Discussion, pelatihan, dan praktek pembuatan pupuk organik dan pakan ternak. Sasaran kegiatan adalah anggota kelompoktani-ternak sebanyak 30 orang. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap petani secara signifikan baik dalam pembuatan pupuk organik maupun pakan ternak, (2) para petani sudah mulai belajar memproduksi pupuk organik dan pakan ternak secara mandiri, (3) adanya penghematan biaya usahatani dengan menggunakan pupuk organik yang dibuat sendiri, dan (4) terjaganya kelestarian lingkungan karena pemanfaatan limbah pertanian berupa kotoran ternak maupun limbah tanaman lainnya.

Abstract

Abstrak— Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis gaya bahasa (stilistika) yang digunakan dalam lirik lagu “Pangeran Suriansyah” karya H. Anang Ardiansyah, sebuah narasi sejarah lisan mengenai pendirian Kesultanan Banjar. Metode yang digunakan adalah Kualitatif Deskriptif dengan Pendekatan Stilistika dan analisis data menggunakan Analisis Isi (Content Analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lirik lagu ini mengombinasikan kelugasan naratif dengan kekuatan retoris yang efektif. Gaya bahasa dominan meliputi: Diksi Leksikal Khas (penggunaan Bahasa Banjar dan nama-nama historis spesifik) yang berfungsi menegaskan otentisitas kultural; Majas Repetisi sebagai perangkat penegasan; serta Majas Kiasan (Metafora dan Simbolisme) yang memberikan kedalaman filosofis pada narasi. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa gaya bahasa pada lagu "Pangeran Suriansyah" berhasil menjalankan fungsi ganda, yaitu sebagai dokumen sejarah yang akurat dan sebagai media pewarisan nilai budaya yang efektif bagi masyarakat Banjar.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini mendeskripsikan implementasi program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Angkatan 1 UIN Palopo di Desa Tarramatekkeng, Kecamatan Ponrang Selatan, Kabupaten Luwu, dengan tema sentral "Green Dakwah dan Pendidikan Lingkungan". Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah menumbuhkan kesadaran ekologis yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai keislaman, sekaligus meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan dan kapasitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) desa. Metode yang diadopsi adalah Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), sebuah pendekatan yang memaksimalkan aset dan potensi internal masyarakat Tarramatekkeng. Implementasi mengikuti siklus ABCD: Inkulturasi, Discovery, Design, Define, dan Refleksi. Program unggulan yang diangkat meliputi pengembangan modul Fiqh Lingkungan, inisiasi pembentukan Bank Sampah Berbasis Masjid, serta edukasi pola hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) yang berbasis pada konsep thaharah. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya pergeseran paradigma warga, di mana menjaga alam mulai dipahami sebagai tanggung jawab spiritual, yang berujung pada peningkatan partisipasi kolektif dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan desa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine significant differences in mathematical problem-solving abilities between students participating in STEAM-based learning and students participating in conventional learning in grade ten of SMA Negeri 2 Patra Nusa. This study used a quantitative quasi-experimental approach with a posttest-only control group design. The population was all 113 grade ten students of SMA Negeri 2 Patra Nusa Manyak Payed in the 2024/2025 academic year. Sampling was conducted using simple random sampling, with class X MIA 1 as an experimental class and class X MIA 2 as the control class, each with 25 students. The research instrument was a descriptive test on quadratic functions. The results of the independent sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students in the experimental and control classes. This research can be expanded by examining the effect of STEAM-based learning on other elements of the mathematical process.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of profitability and capital structure on stock returns in food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020–2024 period. The research is motivated by inconsistent empirical findings in previous studies and by the phenomenon in which improvements in company profitability are not consistently followed by increases in stock returns. This condition indicates a potential gap between firm-level financial performance and market valuation, particularly in emerging market contexts. The objective of this study is to analyze both the partial and simultaneous effects of profitability, measured by Return on Equity (ROE), and capital structure, measured by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), on stock returns. This research employs a quantitative approach using panel data regression analysis. The sample consists of 15 food and beverage companies observed over a five-year period, resulting in 75 observations. Secondary data were obtained from published financial statements and analyzed using EViews software. Model selection was conducted through the Chow test, indicating that the Common Effect Model was the most appropriate specification. Classical assumption tests were also performed to ensure the reliability of the regression results. The empirical findings demonstrate that ROE and DER do not have a statistically significant effect on stock returns, either individually or simultaneously. The probability values of both variables exceed the 0.05 significance level, leading to the rejection of the proposed hypotheses. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination indicates that profitability and capital structure explain only a very small proportion of stock return variation. These results suggest that stock returns in the food and beverage sub-sector are more strongly influenced by external factors, such as macroeconomic conditions, inflationary pressures, investor sentiment, and overall market dynamics. The study highlights the limited explanatory power of accounting-based indicators in periods of economic uncertainty and provides important implications for investors, managers, and future research in emerging capital markets.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Current Ratio (CR) and Return on Assets (ROA) on stock prices in coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020–2024 period. The background of this study is driven by fluctuations in current ratio, return on assets, and stock prices in the coal industry that indicate a mismatch between financial performance and market valuation. This study uses a quantitative approach with a multiple linear regression method through the assistence of the SPSS application, while the sample is determined by a purposive sampling technique in 18 (eighteen) companies over 5(five) years of observation, resulting in 90 (ninety) observations. The results of the partial test (t-test) show that Current Ratio (CR) has a positive and significant effect on stock prices, indicating that a high level of liquidity provides a positive signal to investors regarding the company's short-term financial stability. Conversely, Return on Assets (ROA) has a negative but insignificant effect on stock prices, indicating that profitability has not been a major factor in influencing investor perceptions in this sector, possibly due to fluctuations in commodity prices and unstable profits. The results of the simultaneous test (F-test) show that CR and ROA together have a significant effect on stock prices, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 18.8%, meaning that these two variables explain some of the variation in stock prices, while the rest is influenced by external factors such as macroeconomic conditions and global coal prices. This finding supports Signaling Theory (Spence, 1973), which states that financial ratios act as signals for investors in assessing company performance. This study provides an empirical contribution to understanding the determinants of stock prices in the Indonesian mining sector and provides practical implications for management and investors to strengthen liquidity management and increase market confidence.
