Abstract

Fenomena yang menganggap wanita selalu di tuntut utnuk menjadi golongan yang sempurna kerap sekali di jumpai sejak dahulu. Video musik Tutur Batin dari Yura Yunita merupakan musik video yang berasal dari Indonesia. Yang ingin menyampaikan kepada para pendengarnya bahwa wanita tidak perlu untuk sempurna dalam segala hal. Talent yang di tampilkan dalam musik video ini juga telah mewakilkan beberapa kasus kasus yang sering di anggap “Tidak Sempurna” oleh masyarakat. Mulai dari wanita yang mempunyai tubuh berisi / gemuk, wanita dengan jerawat di wajah, bahkan dengan wanita yang mempunyai Vitiligo dan lain lain. Pendekatan yang kami gunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Yang bertujuan untuk lebih menjelaskan dan memaparkan bahwa stereotip perempuan tidak selalu seperti apa yang orang lain inginkan. Atas hasil yang telah kami peroleh bahwa kecantikan itu bukanlah tolak ukur seorang perempuan bisa di katakana sempurna. Di dalam musik video ini juga ingin menyampaikan bahwa perempuan sudah sempurna dan tidak butuh kesmpurnaan. Kalimat tersebut jelas digambarkan oleh penulis lagu pada lirik “aku tak sempurna, tak perlu sempurna. Akan ku rayakan apa adanya” pada menit ke 3.12 – 3.26.

Abstract

In today's digital era, teenagers have the convenience of learning new things and following beauty trends through various available platforms and media. One platform that is presented to be able to follow beauty trends is Female Daily. This study aims to analyze the perspectives of young women in the city of Medan on the FD Talk feature on the Female Daily application. The research method used is qualitative research using in-depth interview techniques with 3 sources of informants who actively use FD Talk. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and interviews of young women in the city of Medan. The analysis was carried out using the theory of TAM to understand user perceptions about usability, ease of use, and attitudes toward using the application and also using interpersonal communication theory. The results showed that the features of FD Talk succeeded in building positive perceptions of usability and ease of use in the eyes of the users. The speakers found it useful to learn about skincare and beauty from the personal experiences of other users on the platform. In addition, a good and easy-to-understand interface is also a factor that makes users feel comfortable using the application.

Abstract

Game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is one of the most popular online games in Indonesia. One thing that is popular in the game is the trash-talking behavior. This research appears to find the meaning of trash-talking in the online game Mobile Legends. Using a qualitative-descriptive research method by finding data sources using the interview method with 5 informants who were determined by the purposive sampling method with the conditions that they were Communication Science students at UIN North Sumatra, active players in the Mobile Legends game: Bang Bang and were at epic levels/ranks. The analysis technique uses equivalent analysis. The results of the study show that there are 6 forms of trash-talking categories, namely: 1). Intelligence, including: Stupid, Stupid, Stupid, Paok, Use Your Brain, Blog/Impossible, and Remove ML. 2). Disgusting animals, including: Dogs, Asu, and Anjrit 3). Sexuality, including: Kimbek 4). Status, including: Yteam 5). Physical, including: Blind Map and 6). General includes: Bastard, Lol, and Jancok . Some of the things that cause them to issue trash-talking words are getting team members with very bad games, getting lost, and players who are AFK (Away From Keyboard) or leave the game during the game.

Abstract

The study discusses how to communicate masculinity as well as the urgent need to reconstruct the understanding of masculinities in a marketing context that is more inclusive and relevant to the current era. The study highlighted the importance of diversification in the representation of masculinity in marketing, by showing that campaigns that promote diversity in representation tend to receive positive feedback from consumers, leading to increased attachment and loyalty. The research method involves phenomenological analysis of the phenomena of various social media and E-Commerce Kahf in marketing its products. This research aims to identify concrete strategies in doing product marketing. The findings of this research are expected to provide in-depth insight into Kahf's reconstruction in doing marketing with the guise of masculinity.

Abstract

Tourism development relies heavily on brand reputation. In branding tourism, it is important to emphasize branding elements, such as logos, slogans, or the general identity of the tourist location. This can influence the way tourists view tourist attractions. Umbul Mabar shapes its tourism image apart from through brand identity or emphasizes its brand identity by using brand benefit and competence elements, namely showing the benefits and superiority values of tourism. In forming a brand image, Umbul Mabar introduces its tourism through direct communication by holding various events at the tourist location. This research uses brand image theory according to Kotler and Keller. This theory includes dimensions and indicators of brand image. The aim of this research is to understand brand image through the stage of collecting descriptive data or depictions of research subjects, both verbally and in writing.

Abstract

This research analyzes how communication between stakeholders is established in implementing policies for handling land issues in the former PTPN II HGU in North Sumatra. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach by tracing related Literature studies. The research results show that the media and communication carried out by the North Sumatra Provincial Government in handling land issues of the former PTPN II HGU is direct communication in the form of socialization and coordination in strategic and technical forms. The communication carried out by the North Sumatra BPN Regional Office is direct in the form of support to the North Sumatra Provincial Government. The BPN Regional Office plays a vital role because regulations related to HGU come from BPN RI. The policy public communication strategy is carried out by increasing the intensity of public policy communication, involving the public in policy-making, and conveying information through the media. Factors influencing policy include openness of information, credibility, and government authority in reducing uncertainty and risk in resolving former PTPN II HGU problems. This research provides insight into alternative policy models for the North Sumatra Provincial Government in handling land conflicts. This research helps to understand the typology of land conflicts handled by BPN RI. This also emphasizes the need to increase legal awareness among the community and overcome systematic acts of provocation that lead to conflicts over land rights in North Sumatra Province.

Abstract

This This article seeks to analyze Twitter users' criticism of the Coldplay concert, which purportedly will spark an LGBT campaign. This elucidated a range of responses from the general public , from those who felt normal to those who felt dread. The advantages and disadvantages of the Coldplay concert and the LGBT campaign raised an issue that is still in public consciousness. This article employs a qualitative methodology with a sociological perspective. This article's primary data is collected tweets from individuals, while the secondary data is derived from scientific works pertinent to the topic under discussion. The results of the discussion indicate that Twitter users are indeed dynamic. However, this issue was downplayed due to the assumption that people don't care about the LGBT campaign and only want to watch Coldplay perform. Unfortunately, this topic has begun to be discussed on a national scale, eliciting a variety of negative responses. The government must adopt a qualified initiative, which at this level is an agreement note, to prevent Coldplay from disseminating LGBT messages in Indonesia, which could cause chaos.

Abstract

This study illustrates how social media Tiktok affects the efficacy of salam da'wah television. This study employs a quantitative survey method. The questionnaire is disseminated online via a Google form. The population consists of followers of the salamtv Tiktok account. the research data were analyzed using regression analysis. The results showed 1) there was a positive and significant effect on the delivery of da'wah on Tiktok to the effectiveness of salamtv da'wah with a value contribution of 55.1% and each increase of 1 delivery value will add to the value of the effectiveness of da'wah by 0.846. 2) there is a positive and significant influence on the da'wah content on Tiktok on the effectiveness of the da'wah of Salamtv with a value contribution of 55.9% and each increase of 1 delivery value will increase the value of the effectiveness of the da'wah by 0.695. 3) there is a positive and significant influence on the delivery of da'wah content on Tiktok together on the effectiveness of the da'wah of Salamtv with a value contribution of 59.7% and each increase of 1 delivery value will add to the effectiveness of da'wah by 0.435 and 0.390

Abstract

The contestation of interfaith communication in North Tapanuli, Indonesia, reflects the region's long and diverse history of religious interactions. This study aims to explore the factors influencing interfaith communication and to promote religious moderation. A qualitative descriptive method with an ethnographic approach was utilized to identify and analyze the dynamics of interreligious communication. The findings indicate that historical, social, and theological factors play significant roles in shaping current religious interactions, while religious institutions like the FKUB are crucial in facilitating dialogue and cooperation. This research suggests that a more inclusive and dialogical approach to religious communication can strengthen tolerance and harmony in multicultural societies.

Abstract

This article discusses the phenomenon of "War Takjil" (iftar hunting) during the holy month of Ramadan 1445 H which went viral on social media. The "War Takjil" or the war over iftar food is not only an economic competition between food traders who sell various snacks and refreshing drinks to break the fast but also the phenomenon of non-Muslim communities taking part in fighting for iftar food like Muslims. This paper aims to see the extent of the impact of the "War Takjil" phenomenon by non-Muslims in Ramadan 2024, both on religious harmony, especially Muslims and non-Muslims, as well as its socio-economic impact and impact on Muslims. In addition to the impact caused, there are several messages that emerge from the phenomenon, both positive and negative. This paper uses a qualitative research methodology with an ethnographic approach. The analysis was carried out by observing and documenting certain groups (social media users, especially big cities in Java). The data was collected through capturing conversations of netizens on social media. "War Takjil" is a phenomenon when non-Muslims performs solidarity and social concern for Muslims. This reflects the values of togetherness and empathy in society.
