This study investigates organizational communication's role in achieving superior accreditation at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UIN-SU). The research method used is mixed, with a survey-based quantitative approach using questionnaires to collect data from UIN-SU students, lecturers, and teaching staff and a qualitative approach through interviews with universities that have achieved superior accreditation. Data were analyzed using statistical analysis techniques and path analysis with moderating variables. The results showed that UIN-SU achieved a "B" (Superior) accreditation rating, which reflects a commitment to improving the quality of higher education services. The effectiveness of internal communication and the quality of external communication played a crucial role in achieving this feat. However, the participation of academic community members in decision-making did not have a significant impact, indicating the need to increase their participation and role in the accreditation process. In order to achieve higher accreditation in the future, UIN-SU needs to focus on improving organizational communication, supportive organizational policies and culture, and allocating adequate resources to support accreditation efforts and improve the quality of higher education.

This study aims to explore the role of TikTok in Anies Baswedan's political campaign leading up to the 2024 presidential election. Employing a content analysis research method, the study focuses on innovative campaign messages and public interaction on the TikTok platform. The findings indicate robust community involvement and positive support, contributing to the enhancement of Anies' reputation. Strong branding was achieved through innovative campaign techniques, including the phrase “AMEN” and visual symbols such as white clothing and the one-finger gesture. This research underscores the significance of social media in contemporary Indonesian politics by demonstrating how TikTok shapes public perceptions of Anies Baswedan. By using TikTok as a central point of analysis, the study concludes that the platform has emerged as a crucial tool for innovative political communication and the cultivation of the public personas of future leaders.

This research aims to find out the role of reading corners in improving children's reading at the Pakpak Bharat Regency Library and Archives Service. The role of reading corners in increasing children's interest in reading, supporting factors and inhibiting factors in increasing children's interest in reading in Pakpak Bharat Regency. This type of research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. In this research, data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation methods. Data analysis carried out in this research used data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the reading corner has played an active role in increasing interest in reading because the children there take the time to visit the reading corner. The supporting factor for the role of the reading corner is the existence of facilities in the reading corner and the inhibiting factors in increasing interest in reading in the reading corner include some visitors to the reading corner not being able to look after their books after reading, so some books are damaged.

Shin Tae Yong is a man from South Korea where he is the soccer coach for the Indonesian National Team. He became famous since becoming a coach because he won the match between Indonesia and Malaysia with a score of 4-1. Since then, he has been partnered with by many big brands to be used as an advertising model. Kopi Luwak advertisement is one of the brands that made Shin Tae-yong an advertising model. The purpose of this research is to analyze how Shin Tae-yong's masculinity is portrayed in Luwak coffee advertisements. The research method used in this study is the semiotic analysis method of Roland Barthes. According to Roland Barthes, there are three cores of semiotics, namely denotative, connotative and myth. The results of this study found that several advertisements, such as the scene of drinking coffee before playing football.

This research was conducted to find out the message to be conveyed by the lyrics and music video Tutur Batin by author Yura Yunita. Pop vocalist Yura Yunita has hit the Indonesian music scene since childhood. One of the songs written and performed by Yura Yunita is called Inner Speech and features her singing. This is what interests academics to conduct a more in-depth analysis of the music video for the song Tutur Batin. By breaking the video clips into various scenes related to the representation of feminism and categorizing them according to Barthes's view system which includes denotative meaning, connotative meaning, and myth, the analysis technique used in this research is data analysis using Roland Barthes semiotics. The research findings show that the videos depict strong women who can express themselves by being themselves. She had the choice to be like other women in society's eyes, but she chose to be herself. This is the same as the principle of self-acceptance feminism, which states that in order for women to live as equals in society, they must have the freedom to express themselves however they choose.

Film berperan sebagai alat komunikasi massa yang berfungsi untuk mempengaruhi penonton berdasrkan isi pesan yang terkandung di dalamnya. Film Enola Holmes 2 merupakan film bergenre misteri yang berlatarkan tahun 1800-an di London Inggris. Film ini menceritakan tentang kejadian di masa lampau di mana pada saat itu para buruh belum mendapatkan kesejahteraan dan hak-hak mereka dalam bekerja. Dari film ini karakter perempuan sekaligus tokoh utamanya digambarkan sebagai subjek narasi aktif yang kerap menyampaikan pesan-pesan feminisme. Topik feminisme menjadi alasan peneliti memilih film ini karena selama ini perempuan hanya digambarkan sebagai objek yang pasif dalam sebuah film. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode semiotika Roland Barthes. Dalam film ini menggambarkan perempuan yang berada dalam posisi yang tidak menguntungkan akibat kontruksi sosial budaya yang dibangun oleh masyarakat.

Wanita terkadang ditatap tidak pantas menajadi seseorang pemimpin. Sementara itu jadi seseorang pemimpin tidak selamanya seseorang laki- laki saja. Seseorang pemimpin ialah yang mempunyai kecakapan serta kelebihan, spesialnya pada kecakapan serta kelebihan pada satu bidang tertentu, sehingga dia sanggup pengaruhi orang lain buat bersama- sama melaksanakan kegiatan tertentu demi mewujudkan sesuatu tujuan serta pencapaian tertentu. Riset ini mengenakan tata metode studi kualitatif, dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Setelah itu hasil dari riset ini menampilkan kalau kepemimpinan wanita di Indonesia sudah menampilkan kalau mereka para kalangan wanita sanggup meyakinkan serta menggapai sesuatu keberhasilan selaku pemimpin. Kedudukan wanita dalam kepemimpinan di Indonesia dari seluruh aspek bidang sudah menampilkan kalau wanita pula sanggup serta layak dijadikan seseorang pemimpin.

Media komunikasi yang efektif menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan metode analisis interpretatif. Sesuai dengan perumusan masalah penelitian yaitu bagaimana pemaknaan lirik lagu “Taylor Swift “ The man” sebagai musisi untuk menyampaikan suatu pesan dalam berkomunikasi sosial dalam analisis semiotika Ferdinand de Saussure, maka yang diteliti atau yang menjadi objek penelitian ini adalah lirik lagu “The Man” Hasil penelitian ini kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis semiotika yang mengacu pada analisis semiotika dengan menggunakan teori yang dikemukakan oleh Saussure. Dalam teori Saussure dijelaskan bahwa tanda memiliki unsur yang saling berhubungan yaitu penanda (signifier) dan petanda (signified). Signifier adalah elemen fisik dari tanda dapat berupa tanda, kata, image, dan suara. Sedangkan Signified menunjukkan konsep mutlak yang melekat pada tanda fisik yang ada. Dari hasil penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan bahwa analisis semiotik Saussure ada 5 pandangan dan salah satunya adalah penanda (signifier) dan petanda (signified). Peneliti akan menanyakan beberapa pertanyaan yang mengangkat tentang lirik lagu berjudul “The Man” yang dinyanyikan oleh Taylor Swift.

Fenomena yang menganggap wanita selalu di tuntut utnuk menjadi golongan yang sempurna kerap sekali di jumpai sejak dahulu. Video musik Tutur Batin dari Yura Yunita merupakan musik video yang berasal dari Indonesia. Yang ingin menyampaikan kepada para pendengarnya bahwa wanita tidak perlu untuk sempurna dalam segala hal. Talent yang di tampilkan dalam musik video ini juga telah mewakilkan beberapa kasus kasus yang sering di anggap “Tidak Sempurna” oleh masyarakat. Mulai dari wanita yang mempunyai tubuh berisi / gemuk, wanita dengan jerawat di wajah, bahkan dengan wanita yang mempunyai Vitiligo dan lain lain. Pendekatan yang kami gunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Yang bertujuan untuk lebih menjelaskan dan memaparkan bahwa stereotip perempuan tidak selalu seperti apa yang orang lain inginkan. Atas hasil yang telah kami peroleh bahwa kecantikan itu bukanlah tolak ukur seorang perempuan bisa di katakana sempurna. Di dalam musik video ini juga ingin menyampaikan bahwa perempuan sudah sempurna dan tidak butuh kesmpurnaan. Kalimat tersebut jelas digambarkan oleh penulis lagu pada lirik “aku tak sempurna, tak perlu sempurna. Akan ku rayakan apa adanya” pada menit ke 3.12 – 3.26.

In today's digital era, teenagers have the convenience of learning new things and following beauty trends through various available platforms and media. One platform that is presented to be able to follow beauty trends is Female Daily. This study aims to analyze the perspectives of young women in the city of Medan on the FD Talk feature on the Female Daily application. The research method used is qualitative research using in-depth interview techniques with 3 sources of informants who actively use FD Talk. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and interviews of young women in the city of Medan. The analysis was carried out using the theory of TAM to understand user perceptions about usability, ease of use, and attitudes toward using the application and also using interpersonal communication theory. The results showed that the features of FD Talk succeeded in building positive perceptions of usability and ease of use in the eyes of the users. The speakers found it useful to learn about skincare and beauty from the personal experiences of other users on the platform. In addition, a good and easy-to-understand interface is also a factor that makes users feel comfortable using the application.
