Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of product design, content marketing, and e-service quality on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention among consumers of the local bag brand Merché. A quantitative research approach was employed using a survey method involving 240 Merché consumers in the DKI Jakarta area. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the assistance of SPSS and AMOS software. The results indicate that product design, content marketing, and e-service quality have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Furthermore, product design and customer satisfaction also have a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention. However, content marketing and e-service quality do not have a significant direct effect on repurchase intention. These findings suggest that customer satisfaction plays a crucial role in encouraging repurchase intention, while product design is the only variable that directly influences both dependent variables. This study contributes theoretically by extending the application of Expectation Confirmation Theory in the context of digital marketing for local fashion brands and provides practical insights for fashion businesses in formulating strategies focused on enhancing customer satisfaction and long-term consumer loyalty

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing purchase decision and repurchase intention in TikTok live shopping. The variables examined include social influence, information quality, and interactivity, using a quantitative research approach. Data were collected through an online survey distributed to respondents who had previously made purchases via TikTok’s live shopping feature. SEM was employed to examine the relationships among variables. The results indicate that information quality and interactivity have a significant positive effect on purchase decision, while interactivity also contributes to repurchase intention. Conversely, social influence shows a negative effect on purchase decision and does not significantly affect repurchase intention. These findings suggest that clear product information and active engagement by live shopping hosts play a crucial role in driving audience conversion. This study contributes theoretically by reinforcing Social Presence Theory and provides practical insights for businesses in developing effective live shopping strategies that emphasize trust, interaction quality, and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of online customer reviews, customer perceived value, and service quality on trust and purchase decisions among Lemon8 app users searching for information on The Originote skincare products in Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative method with primary data collected through an online questionnaire from 225 Lemon8 user respondents in Jakarta, selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) AMOS with the Maximum Likelihood Estimation approach. The results show that online customer reviews have no significant effect on trust or purchase decisions. Customer perceived value has a significant effect on trust, but does not have a direct effect on purchase decisions, so its influence works indirectly through trust as a mediator. Service quality is also not proven to have a significant effect on trust or purchase decisions. Conversely, trust has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions, making it the most dominant factor in driving purchase decisions. These findings indicate that on social media-based review platforms like Lemon8, consumer trust is built more through customer perceived value than solely from reviews or the platform's service quality, and this trust is the main key that drives skincare product purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study examines the determinants of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among outsourcing employees at PT Kosami Sejahtera Utama, an outsourcing company supporting terminal operations at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Outsourced workers in Indonesia frequently face job insecurity and low job satisfaction, which negatively affects their willingness to engage in voluntary behaviors beyond formal duties behaviors essential for organizational effectiveness. Preliminary observations at PT Kosami Sejahtera Utama revealed indications of low OCB across multiple dimensions, including reluctance to help coworkers voluntarily and various disciplinary violations. This research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory design, utilizing a population of 332 employees and a sample of 270 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire measured on a six-point Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS version 29. The findings reveal that: (1) job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on OCB (CR=6.848, p<0.05); (2) job satisfaction significantly influences organizational commitment (CR=10.217, p<0.05); (3) work motivation significantly affects organizational commitment (CR=9.389, p<0.05); (4) work motivation significantly influences OCB (CR=6.690, p<0.05); and (5) organizational commitment significantly affects OCB (CR=3.657, p<0.05). These results confirm that enhancing job satisfaction, work motivation, and organizational commitment serves as an effective strategy for fostering employee OCB in outsourcing companies. The research contributes to the application of Social Exchange Theory in non-permanent employment contexts and offers practical implications for improving the sustainable quality of airport operational services through targeted human resource management policies.

Abstract

This study examines village community participation in ecotourism development on Komodo Island and identifies barriers that limit the transition from operational involvement to strategic authority. The analysis integrates Arnstein’s Ladder of Citizen Participation with community-based enterprise, empowerment, and collaborative governance perspectives. A qualitative case study was conducted in Komodo, Papagarang, and Mesa Villages from May to July 2025. Data were collected through 14 semi-structured interviews, two focus group discussions involving 6–8 participants per group, five participatory observation sessions, and document review. The data were analyzed manually using Braun and Clarke’s six-phase thematic analysis. The findings show that residents actively participate as tour guides, sea transportation providers, culinary entrepreneurs, and homestay operators. However, pricing, promotion, visitor scheduling, investment priorities, and destination planning remain largely controlled by external tour operators and public institutions. Limited managerial capacity, weak collective organization, inadequate infrastructure, unequal market access, dependence on external booking channels, and environmental pressures restrict local value capture. The study recommends formal community representation in destination governance, stronger village cooperatives, transparent pricing and booking systems, continuous business and conservation training, infrastructure improvement, and participatory monitoring. Active economic participation does not automatically produce strategic authority without institutional support and inclusive governance.

Abstract

The present research proposes a conceptual model that explains how digital marketing communication strategies play a role in shaping nation brand equity amid geopolitical crises. This assertion is supported by a case study of the Russia-Ukraine war. The research adopts a model-based conceptual approach, integrating literature on digital narrative content, social media diplomacy and digital multichannel orchestration as key variables that influence perceived trust, emotional engagement and digital brand reputation. Utilizing Toulmin's argument framework, the research offers a logical justification for the relationship between the variables, thereby demonstrating that authentic and emotional digital narratives foster global public trust, while digital diplomacy enhances country engagement and credibility, and multichannel orchestration strengthens reputation through cross-platform message consistency. This study concludes that digital marketing communication is not merely a promotional tool, but a strategic instrument in building global perceptions during times of crisis. This research makes a theoretical contribution by expanding the scope of brand equity theory from the business context to the geopolitical realm. Furthermore, it provides a pragmatic framework for states to formulate integrated and responsive digital communication strategies in periods of conflict.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a contextual repositioning framework for traditional health products by integrating cultural roots and narrative authenticity into cross-cultural marketing strategies. The study highlights the challenges of aligning the values of traditional products with the dynamic preferences of modern health-conscious consumers, particularly in emerging markets such as Indonesia. A conceptual theory-building approach is employed, based on a comprehensive synthesis of 46 relevant publications from 2016 to 2025. The reviewed studies cover themes such as consumer acculturation, cultural storytelling, product repositioning, and health branding. The research reveals critical gaps in existing repositioning models, notably the lack of cultural context and the limited integration of emotional and narrative approaches in consumer engagement. Through integrative reasoning, this study proposes a conceptual framework that connects cultural roots, narrative authenticity, perceived health value, and consumer acceptance, mediated by cultural storytelling strategies. The proposed framework suggests that the repositioning of traditional health products requires a narrative-driven process, in which cultural roots and authenticity form the foundation of consumer engagement. By embedding local heritage values into brand narratives, companies can enhance consumer perceptions of health value, thereby fostering trust and acceptance. This conceptual contribution addresses theoretical gaps in existing cross-cultural marketing models and offers practical guidance for brand managers operating in culturally rich yet globally competitive health markets. The paper concludes with recommendations for future empirical research to validate the proposed propositions across diverse cultural contexts.

Abstract

Since February 2022, the Russia-Ukraine war has intensified the urgency of nation branding, positioning digital marketing communication as a crucial tool for building and maintaining national brand equity. This study aims to systematically map strategies, key variables, and the outcomes achieved through digital marketing communication in Ukraine’s nation branding during wartime. Employing a PRISMA-based systematic literature review (SLR) of 42 Scopus-indexed articles published between 2022 and 2025, the study finds that the orchestration of digital communication via social media, online campaigns, and multichannel diplomacy is essential in constructing narratives of solidarity, public trust, and Ukraine’s global reputation. The main findings reveal strong collaboration among the state, local governments, diaspora, and global actors who leverage various platforms such as Twitter/X, TikTok, websites, crowdfunding, memes, and cloud services to disseminate national narratives, foster audience engagement, and manage public opinion in real time. The study further highlights a shift in nation branding strategies from conventional diplomacy to a digital-first approach, where success is driven by message consistency, technological adaptation, and multi-actor collaboration. This research contributes a conceptual framework for digital nation branding and offers practical recommendations for governments and digital communication practitioners seeking to build national image in times of conflict.

Abstract

Digital transformation increasingly shapes how tourism destinations are promoted, experienced, interpreted, and managed, yet evidence in volcano tourism remains fragmented across marketing, visitor engagement, safety, and sustainability research. This systematic literature review examined Scopus-indexed journal articles published within the 2015–2025 review period. Following PRISMA 2020, 80 records were identified and 14 studies met the final eligibility criteria. Descriptive bibliometric profiling and thematic synthesis showed that eligible publications emerged from 2020 onward and remained geographically concentrated. Three principal domains were identified: digital destination marketing and branding; technology-enabled visitor experience and interpretation; and digital safety, resilience, and visitor management. Across these domains, digital strategies contribute through four pathways: promotion and branding, interpretation and experience, safety and resilience, and responsible or sustainable tourism. The synthesis further identifies an attractiveness–risk duality, positions visitor–destination engagement as an integrative conceptual bridge, and highlights the hybrid digital–physical information environment as an important boundary condition. Sustainability emerges as a cross-cutting but insufficiently measured outcome. An integrative framework is proposed linking digital capabilities, functional domains, visitor–destination engagement, and responsible and sustainable volcano tourism. Future research should integrate the complete visitor journey, evaluate technology effectiveness, operationalize sustainability outcomes, and expand cross-destination comparisons.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Customer Engagement, Product Diversity, and Loyalty Program on Customer Satisfaction and their implications for Repurchase Intention among SOCO App by Sociolla users. This study employs a quantitative approach involving 250 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through online questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS. The results indicate that Customer Engagement has a positive and significant effect on both Customer Satisfaction and Repurchase Intention. Product Diversity also has a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction but does not significantly affect Repurchase Intention. Meanwhile, Loyalty Program and Customer Satisfaction are not proven to have significant effects on Repurchase Intention. These findings suggest that customer engagement is the most dominant factor in shaping satisfaction and repurchase intention, while product diversity plays a greater role in enhancing satisfaction without directly driving repurchase behavior. The loyalty program offered has not been effective as a determinant of satisfaction or repurchase intention in the beauty commerce context. This study contributes to beauty commerce platform managers in designing digital marketing strategies oriented toward customer engagement and product diversification.
