Abstract

This study examined the effects of a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model oriented to Balinese local wisdom and students’ cognitive styles on misconceptions and scientific literacy. A quasi-experimental design with a 3×2 factorial arrangement was employed, involving three learning models (PBL with local wisdom, standard PBL, and conventional learning) and two cognitive styles (reflective vs. impulsive). The sample consisted of 178 fifth-grade students from 12 schools, selected through a multi-stage random sampling process. Data were collected using a misconception test (α = 0.92), a scientific literacy test (α = 0.79), and the Matching Familiar Figures Test (α = 0.72). Results of two-way MANOVA showed significant main effects of learning model (Wilks’ Λ = 0.697, F (4,342) = 16.93, p < 0.001, η² = 0.16) and cognitive style (Wilks’ Λ = 0.407, F (2,171) = 124.7, p < 0.001, η² = 0.59). A significant interaction was also observed between learning model and cognitive style (Wilks’ Λ = 0.859, F (4,342) = 6.73, p < 0.001, η² = 0.07). Reflective students benefited most from PBL with Balinese local wisdom, showing the lowest misconceptions and highest scientific literacy, while impulsive students performed relatively better under conventional learning. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating cultural context and cognitive diversity into science education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament (TGT) berbantuan kartu soal dalam pembelajaran materi pengukuran waktu, serta mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah pengetahuan setelah penerapan model tersebut di kelas II B SD NU Nawa Kartika. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II B sebanyak 33 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model TGT dengan media kartu soal terbukti efektif menciptakan suasana belajar yang aktif, menyenangkan, dan kompetitif, serta mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa terhadap materi pengukuran waktu. Ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat dari 48,48% pada siklus I menjadi 87,88% pada siklus II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis instrumen tes diagnostik berbentuk Three Tier Multiple Choice Test guna mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi siswa kelas V SD pada materi organ pernapasan manusia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen tes terdiri dari 10 soal pilihan ganda tiga tingkat yang mencakup: jawaban konseptual, alasan jawaban, dan tingkat keyakinan siswa. Subjek penelitian adalah 22 siswa kelas V SD di salah satu sekolah dasar negeri di kabupaten Rembang. Hasil analisis siswa menunjukkan bahwa tingkat miskonsepsi tergolong tinggi, terutama pada konsep fungsi organ pernapasan dan mekanisme pernapasan manusia. Dari hasil analisis miskonsepsi 70% siswa masuk dalam kategori miskonsepsi sedang-tinggi. Instrumen ini terbukti efektif untuk mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi secara akurat, serta dapat digunakan sebagai alat evaluasi formatif untuk mendukung pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada perbaikan pemahaman konseptual siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi guru dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan media pembelajaran yang sesuai kebutuhan sehingga dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dasar siswa.

Abstract

The implementation of online learning has an unfavorable influence on students' motivation and enthusiasm for learning. So far, assessments have been carried out, but teachers at SD 1 Jati Wetan have never carried out an evaluation with e-diagnostic assessments. Community Service Activities aim to provide knowledge sharing and application of technology in order to improve teacher competence and skills by developing e-diagnostic assessments to overcome student learning loss and improve the quality of post-pandemic learning. Teachers are able to compile literacy-based e-diagnostic assessments with optimal application of technology. This activity is carried out in stages; 1) planning stage, (2) socialization and training stage for introducing literacy-based e-diagnostic assessments, (3) training and assistance stage for designing literacy-based e-diagnostic assessments, (4) technology application stage, (5) e-implementation stage literacy-based diagnostic assessment to identify learning loss, and (6) evaluation stage of program activities and sustainability. The results of Community Service activities are in the form of developing literacy-based e-diagnostic assessments and being skilled in their application to identify learning loss. Literacy-based diagnostic assessment products are implemented programmatically and productively by teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the fifth grade IPAS teaching materials used in elementary schools based on the independent curriculum in more detail, so as to provide more specific recommendations for improvement. The aspects in analyzing this teaching material are content feasibility, language feasibility, presentation feasibility, and graphical feasibility. The flow of this research was carried out with the following steps. First, researchers formulated research problems related to the feasibility of teaching materials. Then, a checklist sheet was prepared as a data collection instrument. After that, researchers analyzed the teaching materials in depth using the checklist sheet. The data obtained were then analyzed qualitatively. The results of this study show that the two teaching materials each have their advantages and disadvantages. The aspects that met all the indicators of the two teaching materials were related to language feasibility.

Abstract

This research is based on the low level of learning activity of fourth grade students at SD 4 Gulang. This study aims to describe the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model assisted by wordwall on student learning activity. The research applied is a research with a quantitative pre-experiment approach. The subjects of this study included all fourth grade students at SD 4 Gulang as a population and a sample of 21 students. The results of the study indicate that there is a positive influence of the application of the teams games tournament model assisted by wordwall on student learning activity with the results of the Paired Sample T-test sig. 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the application of the teams games tournament model assisted by wordwall which makes students actively involved during learning. In addition, based on the results of the descriptive statistical test, it can be seen that there is an increase in learning activity during learning. The results of the N-Gain test show an increase in student activity at each meeting, namely at meeting 1 with an average of 46.93 students then increasing at meeting 2 by 69.38. In the third meeting, the average student activity increased to 87.92, which means that each meeting saw a significant increase in student learning activity. In conclusion, the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament model with the help of word walls was quite effective in increasing the learning activity of fourth-grade students at SD 4 Gulang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar IPAS siswa, sehingga diperlukan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif yang dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman. Urgensi penelitian ini terletak pada pentingnya menemukan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk memperbaiki hasil belajar siswa, khususnya pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar IPAS serta peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Koperatif tipe think pair share berbantuan alat peraga sistem pernapasan manusia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan model pre-eksperimental desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa sekolah dasar di SD 1 Karangampel Kudus, dengan sampel sebanyak 33 siswa kelas V yang dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal tes uraian pretest dan posttest. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, serta tes tertulis, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 26. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah paired sample t-test untuk menguji perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar, serta uji N-Gain untuk melihat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil analisis paired sample t-test menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan skor rata-rata pemahaman IPAS dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sementara itu, hasil uji N-Gain menunjukkan skor rata-rata sebesar 0,59 dengan persentase 59,04%, yang termasuk kategori sedang dan diartikan cukup efektif. Dengan demikian, penerapan model pembelajaran Koperatif tipe think pair share berbantuan alat peraga sistem pernapasan manusia terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS siswa secara signifikan.

Abstract

This study, which was conducted on fourth grade students ar SD Negeri Karangsumber 01 with the goal of analyzing the effectiveness of using the Project-Based Learning model with economic needs videos on Science and Social Science learning outcomes, found that students poor learning outcomes in the Science and Social Science (IPAS) subject are caused by their inability to pay attention to thr teachers explanaton of the material, their lack of engagement during the learning process, and their tendency to get bored easily. A One-Grup Pretest-Posttest research design was employed in this study. Tests, documentation, interviews, and observation were among the methods used to gather data. Paired sample t-tests and N-gain tests were employed as data analysis methods. With a significant value of 0.0000.05, the findings demonstrated that students learning outcomes in Science and Social Science differed. With an N-Gain score of 0.5617 and an N-Gain value of 56.17% the students learning outcomes in Science and Social Science improved, which is considered to be highly effective. With an N-Gain score of 0.6781 and an N-Gain valur of 67.81%, process skills were deemed to be highly successful. This study demonstrates that using the Project-Based Learning paradigm with economic needs videos to teach Science and Social Science subject to fourth-grade elementary school children is highly successful.

Abstract

This research is based on the low student learning outcomes in IPAS subjects as well as the lack of innovative and interactive learning media in elementary schools. Therefore, this study aims to develop learning media Pop-Up Book RAYAKU based on Augmented Reality (AR) technology that can improve student learning outcomes. This research is a research and development (R&D) with media development conducted using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects were fifth grade students at SDN 4 Sadang and SDN 1 Sadang. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively to describe the media development process, and quantitatively to measure the improvement of student learning outcomes. The results of the recapitulation of the validity of learning media from media experts scored 80%, media experts 96%, and teacher practitioners 92%. All three are categorized as “very feasible”. The results of student responses get an average of 90% with the category “very good”. The N Gain test results get an average percentage score of 67.39% categorized as “quite effective”. This shows that ARbased Pop-Up Book RAYAKU learning media is proven to be effective enough to improve student learning outcomes. Thus, this media can be an innovative solution in supporting the implementation of differentiated learning in elementary school

Abstract

Desa Melayu Ilir terletak di wilayah lahan basah, memiliki angka pernikahan dini yang tinggi. Data dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) menunjukkan bahwa pernikahan dini banyak terjadi di daerah dengan tingkat pendidikan rendah dan kondisi ekonomi yang kurang stabil. Kondisi ini relevan dengan situasi di Desa Melayu Ilir, di mana akses terhadap pendidikan masih terbatas dan banyak keluarga yang menghadapi kesulitan ekonomi. Upaya pencegahan pernikahan dini dilakukan dengan intervensi berbasis komunitas untuk meningkatkan kesadaran remaja tentang risiko pernikaan dini melalui edukasi, diskusi kelompok dan kegiatan pemberdayaan remaja melalui pembentukan komunitas anti pernikahan dini. Kegiatan terdiri dari penyuluhan tentang pernikahan dini dan pelatihan pemasaran digital.  Indikator yang digunakan untuk evaluasi sebelum dan setelah penyuluhan adalah pengetahuan dan sikap tentang pernikahan dini.  Rerata skor pengetahuan sebelum edukasi adalah 5.5, dan sikap 16.9.  Sedangkan rerata skor pengetahuan setelah edukasi adalah 7.3 dan sikap 17.2.  Hasil uji beda dengan Uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan skor pengetahuan tapi tidak terdapat perbedaan skor sikap sebelum dan setelah edukasi.  Kesimpulannya adalah kegiatan edukasi dan pemberdayaan remaja melalui pembentukan komunitas anti pernikahan dini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja di desa Melayu Ilir.
