Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of science of student grade V B SD Negeri 125 Pekanbaru. From 23 students, there are at least 8 students (34,78%) who achieved the Minimum Completess Criteria (scores 75), and 15 students (65,22%) are being below of the Minimum Completess Criteria with class average is 64,56. The low of student studies outcomes are caused by more active teachers rather than students in ongoing learning. So they don’t have the opportunity to develop their knowledge. The aim of this research is to improve the outcomes of science studies of student grade V B SD Negeri 125 Pekanbaru with the implementation of the cooperative learning model of the take and give type. This research uses Classroom Action Research which is done in 2 cycles methods with qualitative data analysis techniques. This research present studies result obtained from daily test scores before action with average 64,56 increase to 72,82 in first cycle, and increase again to 83,48 in second cycle. The activvity of teacher in the first cycle of the first meeting is 64% with enough criteria, the second meeting is 77% with good criteria. Abstract

Abstract: The problem of this research is the lack of students learning outcomes in science, it can be seen from students score, only 15 students (42,85%) who reached the KKM (Standard Minimum Criteria) from the total number of students which is 35 students. While the KKM of the school is 75, it means that there are 20 students (57,14%) who did not reach the KKM. Based on these problems, the researcher need to implement the action research Auditory Learning Model, Intellectualy, Repetition (AIR). In the first cycle of the first meeting, the percentage of teachers activity gained 79,1% in both categories, at the second meeting, the percentage increased to 83,3% in both categories. At the first meeting of the second cycle the percentage increased to 87,5% with very good category, at the second meeting of the percentage increased to 91,6% with very good category. Abstract

Abstract : This research is based on the low learning outcomes of science subject "ilmu pengetahuan alam (IPA)” of students grade 5Ath of SDN 034 Taraibangun, with grade average 63,41, while the minimum exhaustiveness criteria "kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM)” for IPA is 70. Among 44 students, only 17 students who reached KKM with 38,64% classical completeness. This research used classroom action research "penelitian tindakan kelas" (PTK) on two cycles which aimed to improve IPA learning outcomes of students grade 5Ath of SDN 034 Taraibangun,by implementing contextual teaching and learning (CTL). The research subjects is students grade 5Ath SDN 034 Taraibangun. The research data were taken from observation and test. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical technique. The result of this research showed that the achievement of teacher activity in the first cycle 75%, and the second cycle is 93,75%. Students activities increased too. Students activities in first cycle is 62,5%, and the second cycle is 81,25%. Meanwhile, the average of IPA learning in the first cycle is 73,98 and in the second cycle is 76,82. Classical completeness in the first cycle is 65,91% increase to 86,36% in the second cycle. From this result it can be concluded that by apply CTL learning model in science studies can increase learning result of students in 5Ath grader class of SD N 034 Taraibangun. Keywords : contextual teaching and learning (CTL) model, IPA learning result
