Abstract

This study uniquely addresses the gap in preparing prospective biology teachers for 21st-century education by integrating Project-Based Learning (PjBL) into microteaching. The research investigates the impact of this innovative approach on enhancing essential skills such as communication and collaboration. Utilizing a quantitative one-group pretest-posttest design, data was collected from 34 students out of a population of 109 through random sampling, employing questionnaires and interviews. The analysis, conducted using t-tests, revealed a significant improvement in both communication and collaboration skills, with collaboration showing a higher influence. These findings underscore the efficacy of PjBL in fostering these competencies, which are critical for modern educational environments. The implications of this study suggest that optimizing project design, providing robust support and guidance from educators, ensuring resource availability, focusing on continuous evaluation, and offering targeted training for educators are vital for the successful implementation of PjBL-based microteaching. This approach not only enhances the pedagogical skills of prospective teachers but also aligns with the broader educational goal of developing well-rounded, competent educators equipped to meet the challenges of contemporary classrooms. The study's results contribute valuable insights for educational policy and curriculum development, emphasizing the need for innovative teaching methodologies to prepare future educators effectively.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the policy is implemented in the distribution of the family hope program for the empowerment of poor communities in Duampanua Subdistrict, Baranti Subdistrict, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data was obtained by conducting more in-depth observations and interviews with the sub-district head, social assistance assistants, and beneficiary families. Then the data obtained from the interview results was processed using the Nvivo 12 Plus application. The research results show that the implementation of policies in the distribution of the Hope Family program has been realized, but in terms of target accuracy, this program is considered to be less effective. The factors that hinder the distribution of this program are external factors and internal factors.

Abstract

The implementation of the Solar Panel Test Simulator design is carried out for testing in accordance with environmental temperature conditions. The difficulty of carrying out tests in actual conditions is the background for designing this tool. The intensity of heat from sunlight and also the variable ambient temperature influence the voltage released by solar panels. To obtain a solar panel voltage measurement data sheet like the situation above, it is necessary to design a simulation tool that is capable of being a reference to the actual situation. Peltier is useful for controlling temperature variations ranging from normal temperatures to below normal temperatures. Peltier is able to maintain temperature conditions until it is stable at 32 degrees Celsius by receiving light intensity. For light variations, researchers use halogen lamps which will function as heat providers. Solar light is capable of providing lighting intensity ranging from 0 - 100%. However, in this test we only use 3 conditions, namely light intensity of 30%, 60% and 100%. This test also aims to determine the effect of the voltage produced by solar panels on changes in light and also to determine the effect of the voltage produced by solar panels on changes in temperature and to determine the effect of changes in temperature on changes in light intensity. This tool is expected to be able to provide test results that can be used as a reference in measuring solar panels in real conditions.

Abstract

This research is descriptive analytics are trying to find and describe about the social stratification in society Bugis Bone, Sulawesi Selatan. The type of data used in this research is primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained from the informants or people who live in the study site. Research data include things related with social stratification applicable in the society Bugis Bone. The results of the study to find a conclusion that a system of stratification Bugis society still tend to askriptif based on the lineage of nobility.

Abstract

Employees of millennial generation are concerned about the sector since they are perceived to have less work engagement. This study used the positive psychology concept to empirically test the effect of grit on work engagement of 159 (N=159) millennial employees aged 20 to 40, with a minimum service period of one year. The method of this study was quantitative, and data collection used a questionnaire, namely the short version of the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) and the Short Grit Scale (Grit-S), with 9 and 8 items for work engagement and grit, respectively. The sample used the purposive sampling technique, and the data were analyzed through a simple linear regression technique with the SPSS version 25.0 for windows. The analysis showed that grit positively affected work engagement with a value F(1.157) = 12.019, p = 0.001, R2 =0 .071, Radjusted = 0.065, and regression coefficient (β=0.603). The grit effect on work engagement was shown by the R square value of 0.071, meaning the grit variable of 7.1% influences the work engagement variation.

Abstract

Online marketing has become a very important tool for businesses in various sectors, including the culinary industry. With easy access and wide reach, online marketing offers great opportunities to increase sales. However, with so many competitors in the market, it is important to have an effective marketing strategy. The object of this research is Toko Rumah Kurma & Snack Sidrap, which is a business that operates in the field of buying and selling various dates and various snacks. The aim of this research is to understand contextual conditions with the aim of obtaining a detailed and in-depth picture of the conditions of the natural environment, relative to what is actually happening outside based on what is happening in the study area. The central problem in this research concerns the obstacles faced in the process of implementing and developing sales activities with online marketing strategies. This type of research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. The data sources used are primary data from interviews, as well as secondary data in the form of documents, diaries, etc. The analytical tool used is SWOT analysis. The research results show that online marketing is effective in increasing sales and through SWOT analysis there are strategic options for increasing sales.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pengetahuan tentang cara menggunakan limbah tandan kelapa sawit sebagai media tanam jamur. Tempat acara ini adalah Desa Tirta Makmur, yang terletak di Kecamatan Air Kumbang, Kabupaten Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan. Survey lapangan, diskusi fokus grup, dan pelatihan adalah semua metode kegiatan ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) materi kegiatan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat, (2) kegiatan berlangsung dengan lancar dan efektif, dan (3) masyarakat sangat senang dan antusias dengan pelatihan dan penyuluhan tentang mengelola limbah tandan kelapa sawit sebagai media jamur.

Abstract

This research is descriptive qualitative by using qualitative analysis design. In this study, what was analyzed were the motivation and learning outcomes of Class VII F Civics during the COVID-19 Pandemic through Online Learning. In the process of collecting research data using observation techniques, interviews, documentation. and using data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data display/data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the discussion and results of data analysis, it can be concluded that Student Motivation and Learning Outcomes During the COVID-19 Pandemic through Online Learning in Civics Subjects in Class VII F of SMP Negeri 3 Watampone can increase. This is evidenced by the increase in motivation and learning outcomes, where students' learning motivation is predicated A- with a score of 87.00 and learning outcomes with an A- predicate with a value of 86.10.

Abstract

This research analyzes 5G network latency for upload and download activities in Medan City. Using a quantitative approach, data is collected through latency measurements at various test points throughout the city. Measurements are carried out with special network test tools that are able to detect latency accurately. The research results show that the average data speed for download activities is 14.62 Mbps while uploading is 22.72 Mbps, with an average latency value of 46.6 ms from the combined upload and download processes. Latency variability was also analyzed based on location and time factors, showing that the city center area had lower latency than the suburbs. This study indicates that the implementation of edge computing technology can further optimize 5G network performance in Medan City. These findings are important for telecommunications service providers to improve service quality and user experience

Abstract

This research discusses the strategies of religious instructors in improving the ability to read the Qur'an in children at TPA AL-Mukhlisin, Tumampua Village, Pangkajene District, Pangkep Regency. The methodology used in this research is qualitative, the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Research findings show that the strategies used by ustadz to teach the Koran to children at AL-Mukhlisin TPA include the iqro method, wafa method, and habituation method. Meanwhile, regarding obstacles, there is a lack of time allocated for the program and low motivation for some students. The solutions offered are improving the quality of teachers and counselors, extending time allocation, and improving learning facilities
