Abstract

The increase in waste from palm oil processing in Indonesia has a very bad effect on the environment and society. In recent years ornamental plants are very popular in every community, they can help the oil palm industry in reducing the increase in waste by turning it into organic fertilizer. The aims of this study were to determine the content of N,P,K, C-organic, C/N produced from organic fertilizer mixed with empty fruit bunches (tankos) with LCPKS and to determine the effect of application of tankos compost fertilizer. on ornamental plants aglonema flowers. This research was carried out using the RAK method with two factors. The first factor is the use of the number of tankos (J). The second factor is the use of the amount of liquid waste (A). Each treatment combination was repeated 3 times. The data was processed using statistics with analysis of variance (ANOVA) test with DMRT further test at 5% level. The results of this study showed that the nutrient values of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K), C-organic, and C/N were very significant in each treatment. The effect of applying compost to aglonema flower plants was not significantly different.

Abstract

In the application of process standards at SD Negeri 19, there are still problems including the Implementation of Process Standards, planning of Process Standards, and evaluation of process standards. This studies makes use of a qualitative technique with descriptive methods . The research location was at SDN 19 Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya Regency. Primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection procedures are carried out by observation, interviews, and document review. Data analysis in this study was carried out to explain and analyze the phenomena, dynamics, and performance of teachers in carrying out their main duties as teachers and educators in schools. data analysis using the validity of the data. Planning Standards The learning process is designed in the form of a syllabus and learning implementation plan which includes preparing learning implementation plans and preparing learning media and resources, learning assessment tools, and learning scenarios. Application of process standards In improving school quality, all teachers must apply process standards which are also balanced with good policies and analysis. In learning evaluation, a teacher as a professional is required to have competence in understanding the curriculum and being able to translate it into implementation in the field through the development of syllabi and lesson plans. To overcome obstacles in understanding the learning curriculum and applying process standards, teachers are expected to improve competence so that what is expected can be realized. So that by implementing process standards through planning, implementation, and evaluation, the quality of schools can increase.

Abstract

The infrastructure development program aims to overcome accessibility problems and improve the quality of life of people in remote villages. This research focuses on analyzing the social and economic impacts caused by infrastructure development in Buntu Terpedo Village as well as evaluating changes that occur in community welfare. Using a qualitative approach, data collection methods include in-depth interviews with the community, field observations, and focus group discussions (FGD). The research results show that infrastructure development has a significant impact in increasing community mobility, access to education and better health services, as well as encouraging improvements in the local economy which in turn contributes to reducing poverty. However, challenges related to infrastructure management and maintenance as well as obstacles in the level of community participation were also found. This research provides insight into the importance of infrastructure development in accelerating social and economic transformation in rural areas, as well as providing recommendations for sustainable development policies.Keywords : Social Impact, Economic Impact, Infrastructure Development, Equal Development

Abstract

Banyak penyakit ringan yang dapat diobati sendiri (swamedikasi) tanpa harus ke dokter akan tetapi jika pengobatan tidak tepat karena minimnya informasi dan pengetahuan dapat memperburuk penyakit, obat tidak berefek dan meningkatkan biaya pengobatan. Masyarakat diperbolehkan menyimpan persediaan obat bebas dan bebas terbatas yang terbilang aman karena rentang untuk mencapai dosis toksiknya jauh. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakan dalam melakukan swamedikasi dengan tepat. Metode transfer ilmu yang digunakan yaitu Cara Belajar Ibu Aktif (CBIA) yaitu metode berpartisipasi aktif dalam mendengarkan, menonton, menulis, dan mengevaluasi informasi seperti jenis obat dan bahan aktif yang terkandung, serta khasiat dan efeknya. Kegiatan telah dilaksanakan selama 3 kali turun lapangan. Pertemuan pertama berupa sosialisasi pengenalan istilah kemasan obat dan swamedikasi gastritis serta penyakit kulit. Pertemuan kedua berupa sosialiasi swamedikasi diare dan cacingan serta perilaku hidup bersih. Pertemuan ketiga membahas swamedikasi batuk, demam dan pilek. Kegiatan telah mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta melalui diskusi, penjelasan kembali, dan mengisi lembar kerja terkait istilah medis dalam brosur obat dengan benar. Keterbatasan kegiatan ini adalah peserta yang berbeda pada tiap sosialisasi sehingga peserta tidak mendapatkan materi secara komprehensif.

Abstract

Hipertensi di Indonesia berada pada peringkat ke-5 dengan kasus hipertensi terbanyak di dunia. Studi spasial mengenai hipertensi sebumnya sudah banyak dilakukan di beberapa negara, termasuk Indonesia. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui autokorelasi spasial hipertensi di Indonesia dan mengetahui autokorelasi spasial Merokok dengan Prevalensi Hipertensi pada tingkat kab/kota di Indonesia. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksploratif dengan desain ekologi yang mana mempelajari tentang persebaran penyakit hipertensi dan menggunakan aplikasi Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) yang menganalisis data secara spasial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasional dengan teknik indeks moran yang meliputi Univariat Moran’s I dan Bivariat Moran’s I dengan menggunkan software GeoDa. Sumber data didapatkan dari Laporan Riset Kesehatan Dasar Tahun 2018. Penelitian ini menganalisis 514 Kab/Kota yang berada pada 7 Pulau di Indonesia diantaranya, Sumatera, Jawa, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku, Bali NTB NTT dan Papua. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menemukan adanya autokorelasi spasial (p<0,05) prevalensi hipertensi di Pulau Sumatera yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai indeks morans 0,471. Jawa 0,497, Kalimantan 0,326, Sulawesi 0,881, Maluku 0,378, Bali NTB NTT 0,620 dan bersifat clustered (mengelompok), Namun pada Pulau Papua tidak terdapat autokorelasi spasial p->0,05 tetapi memiliki sifat autokorelasi positif ditunjukkan dengan nilai indeks moran’s 0,128 (I>E[1]). Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil analisis Univariat Moram’s Indeks terdapat Autokorelasi Positif pada Pulau Sumatera. Jawa, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku, Bali NTB NTT dan Papua. Hasil Bivariat LISA menunjukkan adanya autokorelasi spasial positif antara proporsi merokok dengan prevalensi hipertensi pada Pulau Sumatera, Kalimantan dan Papua, dan Berautokokorelasi negatif pada Pulau Jawa, Sulawesi, Maluku dan Bali NTB NTT.

Abstract

Skin is the separator organ between the environmental parts of the body outside the body. Skin continuously is exposed to environmental factors in the form of physical, chemical, and biological. Therefore, if there is disease. This skin disease is caused by work (occupational dermatitis) namely a skin inflammation that results in a person’s activities. Contact dermatitis due to work is (DKAK) is skin inflammation that occurs due to the interaction between workers and the substance in the work environment. Objective: to find out the risk factors related to the occurrence of contact dermatitis due to work for car washing workers in Bandar Lampung. Method: The type of research used is analytic with cross sectional design. The sample in this study car washing workers in 5 sub-district area Rajabasa, Enggal, Labuhan Ratu, Way Halim, and Sukarame. Results: The distribution of frequency on the working shift in car washing workers who work more than 2 hours by 30 (75%) of workers, at a more contact order on 5x in a day 35 (87,5%) for workers, in the characteristics of chemicals that contain surfactant as much as 37 (92,5%) of workers, and get 22 (55%) of workers experience contact dermatitis due to work. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between working shift with dkak with the results of the chi-square test 0,001, there is a significant relationship in the speed condition with dkak with the results of the chi-square 0,008. And there is a significance relationship between the chemical charateristics with the results of the chi-square test 0,046.

Abstract

Penyakit tidak menular (PTM) meningkat pada masyarakat dan akademisi seperti dosen. PTM menyumbang 71% dari kematian di dunia dan sebagai penyebab kematian dini. Dosen berisiko terkena PTM yang mengakibatkan kematian dini karena beban kerja, stres, dan gaya hidup yang tidak sehat. Penyebab PTM selain karakteristik individu ada pola istirahat, kurangnya aktivitas fisik, pola makan, gaya hidup tidak sehat, beban kerja dan stres. Upaya pencegahan PTM adalah implementasi perilaku CERDIK melalui penerapan Posbindu PTM, dan implementasi Health Promoting University (HPU). Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk mensosialisasikan dan menginisiasi pembentukan Posbindu PTM dan HPU di STIKes Harapan Ibu, serta membentuk kader dan mensimulasikan pelaksanaan kegiatan Posbindu PTM. Pelatihan kader dilaksanakan bekerja sama dengan Puskesmas Pakuan Baru dan Dinas Kesehatan Kota Jambi. Kegiatan diikuti oleh dosen, tenaga kependidikan dan mahasiswa berjumlah 50 orang. Peserta skrining berjumlah 100 orang dan telah terbentuk kader Posbindu PTM dan Pengelola HPU dengan Surat Keputusan dari Ketua STIKes Harapan Ibu Jambi. Ada peningkatan pengetahuan setelah diberikan sosialisasi dan literasi. Disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan menghasilkan luaran berupa terbentuknya satu Posbindu PTM dan HPU dengan kader terlatih serta memiliki pengetahuan tentang Posbindu PTM dan HPU yang baik. Dibutuhkan komitmen kepemimpinan yang kuat untuk mendorong pelaksanaan Posbindu PTM secara rutin dan berkoordinasi dengan Puskesmas pemangku wilayah.

Abstract

Based on the demands of 21st century ability, it is hoped that students can master critical thinking skills, especially in physics learning, considering that physics is one of the parts of science learning that cannot be separated from the ability to think critically in solving phenomena in the universe. This research is a type of quasi-experimental research that aims to see the influence of the Blended Learning-based Problem Based Learning model on students' critical thinking skills. The approach used is a quantitative approach. The research population is students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri Unggul Subulussalam with class XI MIPA 3 as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 4 as the control class. The instruments used are test instruments, questionnaire instruments, observation instruments, and interview instruments. Based on the results of the t-test, a tcount value of 9.1493 was obtained with a ttable of 1.6735 which means that there is a significant difference between the experimental class taught using the PBL Learning model based on blended learning and the control class taught using the PBL learning model only. From the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the blended learning based PBL learning model is one of the learning models that is able to improve the critical thinking skills of students at SMA Negeri Unggul Subulussalam

Abstract

Dermatitis is the 2nd rank of occupational disease after headache at PT.X (Slate pencil company). Dermatitis in PT X continues to increase every year, in 2017 there were 472 cases, 2018 there were 467 cases and in 2019 it rose to 574 cases. During the last 3 months of 2020, in July there were 30 cases, August there were 35 cases and in September it rose to 38 cases.Workers who suffer from dermatitis experience discomfort at work and experience difficulties and take a long time to complete work. In addition, the number of leave due to dermatitis also increased so that the company's productivity decreased. This study aimed to determine the determinants of contact dermatitis in workers at pencil slat manufacturing companies. This study was an observational study with a cross-sectional design. The population were all workers totaling 210 people. The number of samples of 74 workers who were taken using purposive sampling method with the criteria of permanent workers. The exclusion criteria for this study were workers with contact dermatitis caused by factors other than sawdust. The data were collected using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the study showed that 56.8% of workers experienced contact dermatitis. The determinant factors are the use of PPE (p=0.010), Personal Hygiene (p=0.020), and Working Period (p=0.019). The unrelated factor was Age (= 0.481). Provision of personal protective equipment and supporting equipment for cleanliness of workers in the work area, as well as supervising or monitoring and giving sanctions to workers who do not comply with the use of complete personal protective equipment as well as maintaining personal hygiene.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' assessment and inference skills through the application of the scientific approach. The research was conducted with a pre-experimental design using the single group pretest-posttest method. The study population involved 85 students of class XI of SMAN 1 Blangpegayon, and 22 students of class XI science 2 were selected as samples using purposive sampling. Essay tests on sound waves were used to assess students' critical thinking skills through pretest and posttest. Data were analyzed using N-Gain test and paired sample t test. The results showed that students' evaluation ability had an N-Gain value of 0.97, while the ability to conclude reached 0.99, both of which were classified as high. Hypothesis testing showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores with a value of 0.001 <0.05, based on the paired sample t test. Thus, it can be said that employing a scientific approach to the learning process can enchance the capacity to evaluate and conclude students
