Abstract

Unemployment refers to the state where individuals within the labor force are either unemployed or actively seeking employment. This study examines the dynamics of unemployment and job availability in Banten Province from 2021 to 2023, using data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The research employs a quantitative descriptive method, analyzing the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) by regency/city and age group, the workforce based on education level, and job vacancies by gender and region. The results indicate that Banten Province's OUR reached 8.20%, with Serang Regency contributing the highest rate at 10.38%. The 15-19 age group recorded the highest unemployment rate at 40.59%. Job vacancies totaled only 51,163, far below the demand, resulting in a deficit of 459,680. These findings highlight significant challenges in meeting the employment needs of the region. This study is expected to contribute to resolving unemployment issues and fostering equitable economic development in Banten Province.

Abstract

Ipomoea reptans is a widely consumed leafy vegetable with high potential for hydroponic cultivation, which is greatly influenced by nutrient management. This study aims to determine the effect of various AB Mix solutions with different concentrations on plant growth and to identify the optimal concentration for plant development. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse at Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara Sukoharjo using a completely randomized design (CRD) with three concentrations of AB Mix solution: high (5 ml/l), medium (3 ml/l), and low (1.5 ml/l), with five replicates for each treatment. Plant height and number of leaves were observed as growth parameters. Data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA at a 5% significance level, followed by Tukey's post hoc test. The results showed that various concentrations of AB Mix significantly affected plant height and number of leaves (P<0.05). The medium concentration (3 ml/l) showed the highest plant height and number of leaves compared to the other treatments. It can be concluded that a 3 ml/l AB Mix nutrient concentration is the most optimal for promoting the vegetative growth of Ipomoea reptans in hydroponic conditions and can be recommended as a practical guide for hydroponic cultivation to enhance plant vegetative growth.

Abstract

: The amendment of Regional Regulation (Perda) no. 6 of 2015 on Waste Management in Medan City has implications for law enforcement against environmental crimes. This study aims to analyze how regulatory changes affect the effectiveness of legal sanctions for violators and their impact on more sustainable waste management. This research employs a qualitative method with a juridical-normative approach through legal analysis and interviews with relevant stakeholders. The findings indicate that the amendment strengthens the legal basis for addressing violations, including increased administrative and criminal sanctions for environmental polluters. However, implementation still faces challenges, such as low public awareness and limited resources for law enforcement agencies. Therefore, strengthening synergy between the government, society, and the private sector is necessary to enforce regulations and enhance environmental awareness

Abstract

Increasing global awareness of the climate crisis has driven a paradigm shift in development towards a sustainability-oriented green economy. Indonesia, as a party to the Paris Agreement and an implementer of the Sustainable Development Goals, is obliged to integrate sustainability principles into its investment policies. Legal certainty is a key pillar to create a stable and predictable investment climate, especially in long-term sectors such as renewable energy, sustainable natural resource management, and environmentally friendly infrastructure. This research uses normative juridical methods with legislative, conceptual, and comparative approaches, examining Law No. 25 of 2007, Law No. 32 of 2009, as well as international best practices such as the EU Taxonomy and Singapore's Green Finance Action Plan. The results of the study show that even though Indonesia already has a Green Taxonomy, its implementation is still limited, hampered by regulatory disharmony, weak institutional capacity, and the risk of greenwashing. The recommendations included the establishment of a nationally binding green taxonomy, coordination of central-regional policies, competitive legal and fiscal incentives, and firm law enforcement. This effort is expected to strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesia's green investment at the global level while ensuring a balance between economic growth, environmental protection, and social welfare
