Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to examine: (1) basic skills of teaching teachers in the field of economics class X at Walisongo Senior High School Pontianak (2) the dominant teaching skills of teachers dominantly used by teachers of economics class X at Private High School Walisongo Pontianak. This research is a qualitative research that describes the real situation as what should happen when the researchers do. The implementation of this research is conducted at SMA Swasta Walisongo Pontianak, starting from 20 until 30 November 2017. The research subjects are one teacher of economics class X at Private High School Walisongo Pontianak. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation sheets. The results obtained in the study that: (1) Basic Questioning Skills got an average grade of 3.66 with category A, (2) Questioning Skills obtained an average score of 2.38 with category C, (3) Enabling Gaining Skills 3.88 with category A, (4) Variation Skill obtained an average score of 2.60 with category C, (5) Explaining Skills earned an average rating of 3.91 with category A, (6) Skills Opening And Closing Lessons obtained an average score of 3.33 with category B, (7) Numeracy Guiding Small Group Discussion got an average score of 2.50, (8) Skills of Classroom Management earned an average grade of 3.85 with category A. Overall assessment with the teacher appraisal tool (APKG) has 4 times the meeting obtained the average value of 3.20 with category B. Of the eight basic skills of teaching, the skills to explain the more dominant use by teachers of economics class X in the SMA Swas ta Walisongo. Keywords: Basic Teaching Skills, APKG, Field of Economic Studies

Abstract

Ibn Hazm is one of Muslim thinkers who is famous for his philosophical thoughts. One of his philosophical thoughts is concerned with epistemology of science. In his view, the truth of science can be obtained through reason and senses.  Senses can comprehend the real objects while reason comprehend the abstract ones. He asserts, however, that reason faculty is higher than sense faculty since the later usually makes mistakes in understanding an object. Abstract

This article deals with the concept of education evaluation from the Qur’anic perspective. Evaluation is a popular term much used in education to know a student’s performance in education. In this context, in the Qur’an, we also find  some terms that have similar  meaning with evaluation. For example, al-inba’, al-hisab, al-bala, al-nadzar, al-wazn, al-fitnah al-taqdir . These terms are used by the Qur’an to evaluate God’s servants, either  those who believe or disbelieve in God. To know further, how and in which context the Qur’an uses those terms, the usages of the terms are elaborated in this article.Kata Kunci: evaluasi pendidikan, Alquran, al-fitnah, al-hisab, al-wazn, al-taqdir

Abstract

Waste management aims to protect clean and healthy environment. Handling of waste problems in Blang Krueng area still has many obstacles. Most of the locations of waste disposal in Blang Krueng area do not meet health requirements. People do not yet have waste dumping. This is due to the unavailability of waste transportation facilities. In addition, in order to overcome this waste, people often burn the wastes. However, it can cause air pollution. Thus, this research is expected to optimize waste transportation facilities based on the number of ritations by using waste generation data in the area. The last hope of course the cleanliness  in Blang Krueng area.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the improving of students creativethinking ability by applying the experiential learning model, and to know the differencein students improving creative thingking ability in the class applying the experientiallearning method with the class applying the conventional method in SMP Negeri 5Pekanbaru . The population in this study is 296 students that spread over in eightclasses. The sample was taken by simple random sampling method obtained from 2classes with 75 students as the study samples. The design of this study usesnonequivalent control group design. The Instrument of data collection in this study werewritten questions in the form of multiple choice reasoned with 4 choices as much as 13questions through pretest and posttest arranged according the ability to think fluency,flexible thinking ability, original thinking ability, ability to elaborate, and ability toevaluate. The test results were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis. Thisstudy shows that the students creative thinking ability taught with the studentsexperiental learning method are higher than those taught with conventional method (P= 0.003, P < 0:05 or H0 is reject ). After the implementation of experiential learning inthe experimental class obtained an average score 70.83% with the creative categoryand the class with conventional models obtained an average score 58.92% with thecategory of quite creative. The results of this study provide information that theapplication of experiential learning models in SMP Negeri 5 Pekanbaru can improvestudents' creative thinking abilities.Keywords: Experiential Learning model, Creative thinking ability

Abstract

Abstrak: Abstract: This study aims to determine students' science process skills by applying the guided inquiry learning model to the substance pressure material. The research method used is a quasy experiment with a Posttest Only Control Design design. The population of this research was all students of class VIII SMPN 1 Pekanbaru. The sample was selected two classes randomly from a homogeneous population of 33 students as the experimental class and 32 students the control class. The research instrument was a test of science process skills. The data were collected through giving process skills tests to the research sample after the learning process was carried out. Data were analyzed descriptively to see the average absorption capacity of students' science process skills and inferential by using the T-test. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the science process skills of students in the class that applied the guided inquiry learning model and the class that applied the conventional one. The average score of students' science process skills in the experimental class was higher than the control class. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning model can improve the science process skills of class VIII students of SMPN 1 Pekanbaru on Substance Pressure material.Key Words: Guided inquiry, Science Process skills , Tekanan Zat

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the improving of students cognitive learning outcomes by applying the learning cycle 7e model, and to know the difference in students learning outcomes in the class applying the learning cycle 7e method with the class applying conventional method in SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru. The type of this research is quasi eksperimental design with nonequivalent kontrol group design. The population in this study is 360 students that spread over in nin classes. The sample was taken by simple random sampling method obtained from 2 classes with 81 students as the study samples. The instrument of data collection in this study uses written questions in the form of multiple choice reasoned with 4 choices as much as 15 questions through pretest and posttest given to the experimental class and control class. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis results obtained an average absorption capacity of 78,67% experimental class with good learning category and 43,57% control class with not good category. With the result of the inferential analysis with an independent sample t-test, there are significant differences in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class, where the experimental class has a higher increase in learning outcomes. The result of this study provide information that the application of learning cycle 7e models in SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru can improve students’ cognitive learning outcomes.Key Words: Learning cycle 7E, cognitive learning outcomes, global warming

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan : Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis nilai pelanggan yang terdiri dari nilai fungsional, nilai sosial, nilai emosional secara simultan dan parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada PT. Bina San Prima Palu. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 53 apotik di Kecamatan Palu Timur dan Mantikulore. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : pengaruh nilai pelanggan (nilai fungsional, nilai sosial dan nilai emosional) secara silmultan dan parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada PT. Bina San Prima Palu. Dari hasil perhitungan yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan analisis model regresi (model regression), diperoleh F-hitung sebesar 58,725 > Ftabel 4,023 dengan tingkat probabilitas 0,000 (signifikan), dengan nilai probabilitas jauh lebih kecil dari 0,05, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel nilai fungsional (X1), nilai sosial (X2), dan nilai emosional (X3) secara bersama-sama (simultan) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel kepuasan konsumen (Y) pada PT. Bina San Prima. Dari hasil perhitungan t-hitung X1 = 3,769 > t-tabel sebesar 1,674 pada taraf kesalahan 5% atau nilai probabilitas 0,000 < 0,05, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel nilai fungsional (X1) secara parsial mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabel kepuasan konsumen (Y) pada PT. Bina San Prima. Dari hasil perhitungan t-hitung X2 = 6,243 > t-tabel sebesar 1,674 pada taraf kesalahan 5% atau nilai probabilitas 0,000 < 0,05, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel nilai sosial (X2) secara parsial mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabel kepuasan konsumen (Y) pada PT. Bina San Prima. Dari hasil perhitungan t-hitung X3 = 2,410 > t-tabel sebesar 1,674 pada taraf kesalahan 5% atau nilai probabilitas 0,020 <0,05, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel nilai emosional (X3) secara parsial mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabel kepuasan konsumen (Y) pada PT. Abstract

The background of this research is that students' understanding of the material for Estimating Construction Costs is not maximal, marked by the low learning outcomes of students in Construction Cost Estimation subjects, teacher-centered learning orientation, students have not been able to learn independently and only rely on explanations of material from the teacher, and materials. the teaching available has not been able to facilitate students to learn independently and thoroughly. The research objective was to develop and reveal the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the Student Facilitator and Explaining Cooperative Learning module to increase student activity and learning outcomes through increasing critical thinking skills, creative thinking skills, communication skills, and collaboration skills. This research was conducted using the research and development (Research and Development / R&D) method using the Four-D (4D) development model. The Four-D (4D) development procedure is Define (restriction), Design (design), Develop (development), and Disseminate (deployment). The results obtained from this study were the validity of the module based on the Cooperative Type Student Facilitator and Explaining which was declared valid on the material aspects in the module with a total value of validity was 99.3% and the module format aspect was declared valid with a total value of 91.7. The Student Facilitator Cooperative Learning Module Type is stated to be practically based on the teacher's assessment with a practicality value of 88.62% in the very practical category and 88.98% in the very practical category. The module effectiveness value shows an increase in the pretest score of 55.00 to 84.58 in the post-test score with the gain score in the medium category. %. Based on the findings of this study, it is concluded that the module based on the Cooperative Type Student Facilitator and Explaining is valid, practical, and effective to be used as a learning medium in the Construction Cost Estimation subject.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru yang berdampak terhadap berkurangnya minat belajar siswa yang berdampak terhadap hasil belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X TKR dengan jumlah 22 siswa. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembaran observasi untuk aktivitas belajar dan soal tes untuk hasil belajar. Data hasil belajar dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif ketuntasan individu dan klasikal, sedangkan data aktivitas belajar dianalisis dengan teknik persentase. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Model pembelajaran Accelerated Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dilihat dari ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 54,5% pada siklus I dan 86,4% pada siklus II dengan peningkatan nilai rata-rata sebesar 12,6 dari 2 siklus; (2) peningkatan aktivitas belajar sebesar 21,9%. pada siklus I diperoleh sebesar 59,1% dalam kategori cukup dan pada siklus II sebesar 80,79% dalam kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran accelerated learning dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.
