Abstract

 AbstractThis research is an experimental study using pre-Experimental with One Group Posttest design which aims to find the effectiveness of Discovery Learning assisted by flannel board media on a straight-line equation in SMP Negeri 20 Pontianak. The population in this study was the students of grade VIII.The samples were taken from the students of class VIII F selected by using purposive sampling techniques. The data collection technique used the test, observation sheets and questionnaires. The test used is the achievement test. The test results of student learning that the percentage of classical mastery learning is 82% with a value  ≥75. Observation sheet is observed process and learning activities of students. Acquisition of learning process an average is 3.61 with very good category. Observation of student learning activities amounted to 88.68% with very good category. The student questionnaire responses is 78% with a positive category. It can be concluded that learning with Discovery Learning model assisted by flannel board media is effective.Keywords:   Effectiveness, Discovery Learning Model, Board Flannel Media, Straight                     Line Equation

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine and describe concept mistakes of students in answering questions on congruence material using the Certainty of Response Index (CRI). The method used is descriptive method. The research was conducted in SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. Based on the results of the analysis using the CRI students experienced concept mistakes with an average of 53.34%. Mistakes when restating the concept of congruence have been studied as many as 18 students (50%). Students with high confidence incorrectly choose the right statement related to the concept of congruence. Mistakes when classifying objects based on whether or not fulfilled the requirements that form the concept of congruence as many as 21 students (58.33%). Students with high confidence incorrectly determine the congruent flat shape. Mistakes when applying the concept of congruence logically are 20 students (55.56%). Students with high confidence incorrectly determine the ratio of sides and angles that are mutually compatible. Mistakes when identifying the characteristics of a concept and recognize the conditions that determine a congruence concept of 20 students (55.56%). Students with high confidence misidentify the characteristics that are the requirements of two flat shapes can be said to be congruent.  Keywords: Concept Mistakes, Congruence, Certainty of Response Index (CRI)

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to know and  describe the ability translation of the translation mathematical representation of students in solving material sets in grade VIII SMPI Husnul Yaqin. The subject in this research was 22 student in grade VIII SMPI Husnul Yaqin. Method used was descriptive in forrm survey.the technique used is measurement technique and direct comunication technique. The measurement such as written test that is the ability translation test of mathematical representation and the direct comuniccation technique such as interview. Based on the result in data analysis, overall the ability translation representation students included in high category. Mostly students do the translation from the verbal to the symbol.Keywords: Translation Ability, Representation, Sets.

Abstract

ABSTRAK : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memanfaatkan komik berbasis narasi dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk perolehan kecakapan menyelesaikan soal cerita.Penelitian ini menggunaan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah :1) Rancangan pembelajaran ditempuh dengan langkah-langkah kegiatan : menganalisis kebutuhan pebelajar, merumuskan tujuan dan materi pembelajaran, merumuskan tugas belajar, perolehan belajar dan isi belajar, menentukan skenario pembelajaran dan media yang akan digunakan.  2) Profil komik berbasis narasi melalui proses sebagai berikut : didasarkan pada rancangan pembelajaran yang telah dibuat sebelumnya, membuat flow chart, membuat tampilan storyboard, membuat tampilan program, melakukan pengisian suara, melakukan penggabungan video-video yang akan disisipkan, mengemasnya dalam bentuk compact disc. 3) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika dengan memanfaatkan komik berbasis narasi berlangsung dengan baik dan dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran. 4). Perolehan kecakapan menyelesaikan soal cerita dalam pembelajaran matematika meningkat setelah memanfaatkan komik berbasis narasi. Kata Kunci : Pemanfaatan, Komik Berbasis Narasi, Perolehan Kecakapan Menyelesaikan Soal Cerita   ABSTRACT : The advantages of comic naration based is aimed in this research in Mathematics learning to acquire the ability in doing the narative exercise.Qualitative method and qualitative description approach are used in this research. The result of this research are : 1) Teaching plan through: analyzing students need, formulating goals and teaching material, arranging the tasks, achieving result from learning activity, determing learning scenario and media used. 2) The profile of media naration based through the process as follows: based on the teaching plan that had been made before, making flow chart, making storyboard apperance, making program apperance, dubbing the story, combining videos which will be used and complile them into one compact disc. 3) The implementation of learning Mathematics by using comic naration based in acquiring ability in doing narrative exercise is conducted well and can improve the teaching learning process. 4) The acquirement of ability in doing narrative exercise in Mathematics was increased after the research was conducted. 1Keywords: Utilization, Narrative Based Comic Media, Acquirement of the Ability in Doing Narrative Exercise

Abstract

Abstrak :SMKN 1 Sintang merupakan sekolah yang selalu berinovasi dalam Pembelajaran, dibuktikan sekolah dilengkapi dengan Laboratorium, Multimedia, Laboratorium Teknik koputer Jaringan, dan Radio Penyiaran Pendidikan, serta beberapa ruang teori di lengkapi dengan Infocus dengan tujuan pembelajaran dapat menggunakan Multimedia, dengan tujuan dapat meningkatkan perolehan belajar.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “Bagaimana tampilan media yang relefan untuk perolehan kecakapan pemecahan masalah dalam pelajaran Matematika kelas XI SMKN 1 Sintang”.Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) dengan tujuan menemukan model yang media yang sesuai guna perolehan kecakapan pemecahan masalah dalam matematika kelas XI SMKN 1 Sintang. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1). Pola dasar dirancang sesuai pola  membantu siswa belajar sesuai SK dan KD. 2). Prototype dirancang untuk menyampaikan pesan dari sumber pesan keperima pesan untuk perolehan hasil belajar dalam kecakapan pemecahan masalah. 3). Profil storyboard dibuat sesuai alur prototype sehingga profil storyboard sudah dibuat secara lengkap, sesuai dengan kebutuhan standar kompotensi dan kompetensi dasar.4) Hasil validasi ahli materi diperoleh rata-rata kriteria sangat baik Kata Kunci :Pengembangan Adobe Flash, Perolehan Kecakapan Pemecahan Masalah   Abstract: SMK N 1 Sintang always has it’s innovation on learning, proved by the existence of Multimedia and Computer Network laboratory, and Educational Broadcast Radio. There are also some theory rooms completed with In Focus which aimed for learning process that it can increase learning acquisition. The problem on this research is “How does the appearance of media which relevant with the problem solving skill acquisition on Mathematic subject for the Second Year Students of SMK N 1 Sintang”. It belongs to Research and Development (R & D) with its purpose is to find out the appropriate model of media for problem solving skill acquisition on Mathematic subject for the Second Year Students of SMK N 1 Sintang. The results of this research are as follow: 1). Basic pattern was designed for assisting students to learn the subject based on Standard Competence and Basic Competence. 2). Prototype was designed for conveying message from message source to receiver for problem solving acquisition. 3). The storyboard profile was made based on its context so it’s profile has been made up completely and appropriate with Standard Competence and Basic Competence. 4). Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this study is to describe the misconceptions experienced by the students and the causes on the material of pure fraction count operation and mixed fractions in class VIII SMP LKIA Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive with case study research. Subjects in this study amounted to 6 students of grade VIII SMP LKIA Pontianak who experienced misconception on the fractional material. The data collection tools used are multiple choice questions, and interviews. Test questions are given to explore whether misconceptions are occurring, and interviews are conducted to extract information from students as a whole and in depth based on student test results. The results of this study indicate misconceptions experienced by students are misperception of generalization, misconception of notation, and misconception of calculation. The causes of misconceptions experienced by students are caused by: 1) incomplete understanding such as incomplete records; 2) the student's own thinking is like a student's thinking which assumes that the sum of the fractions is equal to the sum of integers, the student's thinking which assumes that the sum of integers is the same as the multiplication of fractional numbers, the student's thinking which assumes that there is no sign.Keywords: Misconception, Fraction.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan maksud mengembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran yang dimaksud adalah media pembelajaran dalam  bentuk media cetak berupa modul pembelajaran yang akan digunakan oleh pebelajar  untuk memahami meteri matematika khususnya bahasan lingkaran yang telah disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pebelajar saat mempelajari materi bahasan lingkaran. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukan bahwa pembuatan dan pengembangan modul sebagai media pembelajaran membutuhkan tahapan-tahapan yang terencana untuk menghasilkan sebuah modul yang berupa media cetak diantaranya studi pendahulu, perencanaan produk, tanggapan teman sejawat, validasi ahli, uji kelompok kecil, uji lapangan, revisi dan penyempurnaan produk. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan modul pembelajaran yang disusun telah memenuhi aspek kelayakan baik dari segi teoritis maupun dari segi empiris. Walaupun modul pembelajaran yang peneliti hasilkan tidak terlepas dari kekurangan serta keterbatasan. Kata Kunci:   Pengembangan, Modul Pembelajaran, Model Elaborasi.   ABSTRAK: Observing is done in order to develop a learning media. A learning media in forming as learning  module to be used by learners for understanding Mathematic material, specially in working through circular that that suitable with learners needed in learning that case. The result of observing is done to show that making and developing module as learning media needed the step exactly to produce a module form media, there are, pre-Studying, product planning, argument of colleague, validation master, small diagnosis, test-space, revision and product  of perfecting. Based of the data procurable can get gist of learning module which composed has completed expedience in the theoretically or in empirical. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to find out the development of mathematical disposition and conceptual understanding of student related the concept of trigonometric comparison values of special angels material after giving them learning using didactical anticipation approach in Senior High School 1 Sambas in the academic year 2015/2016. The method used is pedagogical action research that adapts the Stringer model with two cycles. The subject in this research is the students of grade XI Science 3 Senior High School 1 Sambas as much as one class chosen purposively. Instruments used to collect data in this research consisted of test questions to measure students mathematical conceptual understanding, and questionnaires to find out mathematical disposition of students giving them learning using didactical anticipation approach. Based on data analysis, the result are: 1) mathematical disposition increased with average of 79.73 which was categorized as advanced; 2) mathematical conceptual understanding increased with average of 84.84 which was categorized as advanced; 3) steps of learning process 100% done that include preliminary 3.63, core activities 3.8, and closing activities 3.5, this categorized very well with an overall average rating of 3.73. Keywords   :  Mathematical Disposition, Mathematical Conceptual Understanding, Didactical Anticipation

Abstract

Abstract The problem in this thesis was How is the ability of mathematical connections of students with a looking back approach in solving social arithmetic material problems in class VII SMP N 2 Sungai Raya in 2018/2019 ?. The research method used was exploratory method. Subjects in this study were 6 out of 28 students selected based on the results of tests of student?s mathematical connection abilities with a looking back approach. The data collection techniques were using test and non-test (interview). Data collection tools in the form of tests of students? mathematical connection abilities with a looking back approach and interviews to dig deeper about students' mathematical connection abilities with a looking back approach. The results are : some indicators of connection capability of the looking back approach which was described using the first answer type. The process of re-checking the solution was shown by testing the percentage of profit, the percentage of loss, or the selling price that has been obtained so as to produce a known purchase or selling price in the problem, find another way, fabricate another problem with a different number with the right workmanship procedure and can find new, more efficient way. Abstract

This study objective is to show that android-based learning media design with contextual learning is valid, practical, and effective in developing mathematical problem solving skills. The research method used is Research and Devolopment. It’s design in this study is 4-D development model consisting of 4 development stages: define, design, develop, and desseminate. The subjects of this study consisted of development subjects (validators) and field trial subjects (a private senior high school in Pontianak, Indonesia). Data collection tools used were validation sheets, questionnaires and mathematical problem solving skill tests. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics. This study showed that android-based media with contextual learning content was valid, practical and effective in developing mathematical problem-solving skills. In addition, Android-based learning media with contextual learning content could be used as an alternative in learning during Covid 19.
