Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pencatatan transaksi dan pelaporan keuangan bagi pelaku UMKM di BUMMAS Kresja, Kecamatan Pantai Cermin, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, yang fokus pada usaha olahan kripik. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah kurangnya pemahaman dalam menyusun pembukuan dan laporan keuangan usaha, yang disebabkan oleh latar belakang pendidikan yang terbatas serta minimnya pendampingan dari pemerintah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 21 Agustus 2024 di Aula MUI Serdang Bedagai dan diikuti oleh 15 pelaku UMKM. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif dan simulasi langsung, yang memungkinkan peserta belajar melalui praktik dan modul panduan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta, di mana 80% peserta mampu mencatat transaksi dengan benar dan 75% mampu menyusun laporan laba rugi sederhana secara mandiri. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam memberdayakan pelaku UMKM dan dapat menjadi model bagi program serupa di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Literature review is an important part of a research. Literature review is used as a basis for conducting research and a step to avoid duplication of research. This research uses a library research method by collecting information from various materials to be processed, concluded and presented simply. The results of the study show that literature review as a description of literature relevant to a particular topic not only provides a summary of research results but is also equipped with a critical assessment of the literature. By assessing and synthesizing various literatures from previous research, researchers will have a strong foundation regarding the urgency of their research

Abstract

This study aims to identify the skills required to be an effective madrasah principal using qualitative methods based on literature review. An effective madrasah principal plays a strategic role in educational management, human resource development, and achieving the goals of quality Islamic education. Therefore, understanding the required skills is crucial to ensuring the effectiveness of their leadership. Through an analysis of various literature, it was found that the required skills include visionary leadership, managerial skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage human resources and finances. Furthermore, madrasah principals are also required to have decision-making skills, the ability to adapt to change, and the ability to create a conducive work climate. The results of this study provide insights for madrasah principals, educators, and related parties in developing training and development programs to improve the quality of leadership in madrasahs.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the role-playing method on the creativity of early childhood at Miftahul Jannah TPA. Creativity as an important aspect of development needs to be stimulated from an early age through activities that are fun and meaningful for children. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design type one group pretest-posttest design, where researchers measure creativity before and after role-playing treatment. The research results show that the role playing method has a positive influence on the development of children's creativity. This can be seen from the increase in scores on several indicators of creativity, such as the ability to generate ideas, elaboration and concentration. The elaboration indicator received the highest score in the very good category, indicating that children were able to add details and enrich the storyline during role play. However, the indicators of flexibility and authenticity are still in the poor category and require further stimulation. Overall, an average creativity score of 54 was obtained, which shows that role playing is effective in stimulating children's creativity. These findings emphasize that role-playing methods need to be applied variedly and continuously in learning to optimize the creativity of early childhood.

Abstract

The need for digital graphic design skills is becoming increasingly important in the creative industry era. However, limited access to paid software such as Adobe Photoshop is a challenge for students, especially in the Multimedia Graphic Engineering Technology (TRMG) Study Program on Universitas Stikubank Semarang. This Community Service Activity aims to optimize the use of GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program), open source software, as an alternative solution in developing digital graphic design skills. The method of implementing the activity includes intensive training, direct practice, and evaluation of design work results. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in mastery of GIMP tools, creativity in making designs, and time efficiency in completing projects. This activity is expected to encourage students to be more independent and adaptive to various design software, as well as increase their readiness in facing the challenges of the world of work

Abstract

Supervision is supervision of the implementation of educational technical activities in schools, not just physical supervision of physical materials. Supervision is supervision of academic activities in the form of teaching and learning processes, supervision of teachers in teaching, supervision of situations that cause them. Supervision is one of the principal's functions to improve the quality and professionalism of teachers in carrying out teaching. In connection with the importance of school supervision activities related to improving the quality of teachers in particular and improving the quality of education in general. Supervision has the aim of providing services and assistance to improve the quality of student learning, not only improving teaching abilities but also developing the potential of teacher quality. Supervisors must be keen to read the problem, analyze, describe the causal factors and matters related to it, thoroughly present the problems encountered and the steps that must be taken as an effective solution.

Abstract

Education is essential in the process of humanization in a cultured society. The purpose of the research is to find out the problems and also government solutions to improve the quality and equity of education in Indonesia. It is important to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, because this will help improve the quality of human resources, reduce poverty, improve the quality of life, and improve the progress of the country. This article uses the method of literature study, through source sources such as scientific journals, books and trusted websites, expected to produce relevant information and knowledge. The results showed that to improve the quality and equity of education in Indonesia, the government needs to design a comprehensive and integrated plan so that the problem of quality and equity of education can be overcome with various efforts from the government. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kedelai fermentasi dalam ransum ayam broiler terhadap persentase karkas dan bobot organ dalam. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Dusun Lebak Jati, Desa Cileles, Jatinangor, Sumedang, Jawa Barat, 45363 pada bulan Februari-Maret 2023. Objek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 ekor ayam broiler dengan strain Cobb yang berusia 1 hari. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental dengan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), yang terdiri atas perlakuan yaitu P0 (ransum tanpa penggunaan kedelai fermentasi), P1 (penggunaan kedelai fermentasi 10% dalam ransum), P2 (penggunaan kedelai fermentasi 20%), dan P3 (penggunaan Kedelai fermentasi 30% dalam ransum). Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 5 kali. Hasil sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa penambahan kedelai fermentasi tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap persentase karkas dan bobot organ dalam (jantung, hati, gizzard dan usus halus). Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan kedelai fermentasi hingga 30% dapat menggantikan bungkil kedelai dalam ransum terhadap persentase karkas dan bobot organ dalam.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the implementation of context-based and creativity-based materials at grade V SD Negeri Pangkalan in order to support the development of materials to increase students’ learning outcome. This research was development research consisting of ten steps. The needs analysis was conducted based on teachers’ and students’ perceptions carried out on 21 students at the 5th grade as the experimental class and 20 students in the control class. The data were collected through a questionnaire and a test of students’ learning outcomes. The needs analysis consisted of four aspects: content, linguistics, presentation, and graphic. This study revealed that 80.9% students who were taught through context-based and creativity-based materials achieved the learning completeness. Meanwhile, in the control class, only 60% student achieved the learning completeness. Thus, context-based and creativity-based materials were effective to improve the students’ scientific literacy.

Abstract

This study was conducted to understand how parenting styles significantly influence the process of shaping children’s behavior. The method used in this research was a qualitative approach, with data collection carried out through interviews and direct observation of participants aged 10–18 years who live in Cicendo District, Bandung. Based on the results conveyed by several participants, it can be seen that parenting styles play a very important role in children’s growth and development as well as in the formation of their emotional conditions. Parents who play a positive role such as giving more attention, communicating well, and providing full support tend to build positive responses and emotional stability in children. This helps shape a healthy personality and creates a comfortable home environment that makes children feel safe. In contrast, parents who display negative roles and parenting styles such as being harsh, lacking attention, and frequently engaging in conflict tend to make children feel pressured and lack self confidence due to unmet emotional support. As a result, children may limit their relationship with their parents, which leads to emotional instability. Overall, the discussion shows that the family is the primary foundation for children, as their growth and development are strongly influenced by how parents fulfill their roles in shaping children’s personalities, which ultimately impacts their lives in the future.
