Abstract

Mass circumcision often induces anxiety in children, potentially affecting their experience and recovery process. This community service initiative aimed to optimize children's mental preparedness and reduce pre-mass circumcision anxiety through educational and interactive play interventions. The activity took place in Nagwen Village, Klaten Regency, Central Java, involving 41 children aged 7-11 years. The approach employed included interactive educational sessions on the circumcision procedure, its benefits, and strategies for managing discomfort, interspersed with relevant educational games. Additionally, simple relaxation techniques and open question-and-answer sessions were implemented to create a safe and comfortable environment for the children.Observational results indicated an increase in children's understanding of the circumcision process and a significant reduction in anxiety indicators, such as restlessness and repetitive questioning. Children appeared calmer, more cooperative, and enthusiastic, and were able to undergo the circumcision procedure smoothly. Most experienced moderate anxiety with an average score of 6.97, as measured by a self-assessment questionnaire. This program demonstrates that education presented in an enjoyable manner, combined with interactive play, is highly effective in preparing children psychologically for circumcision. The recommendation for this activity is to integrate similar methods into every mass circumcision event to ensure a positive experience and support children's psychological well-being

Abstract

Abstrak. This study aims to determine the influence of effective leadership and non-physical work environment on employee performance at the Pondok Aren District Office in South Tangerang City. This research method used quantitative research methods. The data collection method used was a questionnaire survey. The population used in this study consisted of 90 employees. The sampling technique used saturated sampling, and obtained a sample of 90 respondents. Data analysis techniques used are validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, correlation coefficient, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing. The hypothesis testing partially on the variable of effective leadership (X1) obtained a calculated t-value > table t-value (6.974 > 1.987), which is also reinforced by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. This means that effective leadership (X1) has a significant effect on employee performance. Partial hypothesis testing of the non-physical work environment variable (X2) obtained a calculated t-value > table t-value (11.491 > 1.987), which is also reinforced by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. This means that the non-physical work environment (X2) has a significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneous hypothesis testing obtained a calculated t-value > table t-value (74.593 > 3.10), which is also reinforced by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, it can be said that effective leadership and the non-physical work environment simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination obtained an R Square value of 0.632, meaning that effective leadership and the non-physical work environment together contribute a 63.2% influence on employee performance. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of recruitment and job placement on employee performance at PT Sinergi Aitikom, South Jakarta. The background of this research lies in the importance of human resource management in achieving organizational goals. Effective recruitment and proper job placement are believed to improve employee performance, yet in practice, companies often face challenges in selecting qualified candidates and assigning employees to positions that match their competencies. This research employed a quantitative method with a questionnaire as the main instrument. The population consisted of all employees at PT Sinergi Aitikom, with 81 respondents selected using a saturated sampling technique. The data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that: (1) recruitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 9.626 > t-table 1.990, a significance level of 0.000, and a regression coefficient of 0.757; (2) job placement has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 10.645 > t-table 1.990, a significance level of 0.000, and a regression coefficient of 0.701; (3) recruitment and job placement simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by an F-value of 77.268 > F-table 2.720, a significance level of 0.000, and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.656 or 65.6%. Thus, it can be concluded that recruitment and job placement play an important role in improving employee performance. The company is advised to strengthen its recruitment system, ensure job placement aligns with employee competencies.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to describe the management of learning communities in implementing deep learning at SDN Bojongpicung 2, Cianjur Regency. This qualitative descriptive research involved 10 teachers, 1 principal, and 76 fourth-grade students as research subjects. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that learning community management at SDN Bojongpicung 2 includes four stages: planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation. Planning involves setting goals and forming community structures. Organizing includes role division and task coordination. Implementation is carried out through collaborative learning, peer tutoring, and reflective discussions using inquiry cycles consisting of initial reflection, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Evaluation is conducted periodically to measure community effectiveness. Deep learning implementation through learning communities shows significant improvements in students' critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with an average N-Gain of 0.65 in the medium category. The success of the learning community is supported by exemplary leadership, collaboration culture, and a healthy work environment.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the management of principal supervision in improving teachers' pedagogical competence at SDN Bojongpicung 2, Cianjur Regency and SDN Cibabat Mandiri 2, Cimahi City. This qualitative descriptive research involved 20 teachers, two principals, and 152 students from grades IV-VI as research subjects. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that supervision management includes four stages: planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation. Planning involves needs analysis and program preparation. Organizing includes determining supervision approaches and scheduling. Implementation is carried out through clinical supervision, classroom observation, and reflective discussion using collaborative, directive, and non-directive approaches. Evaluation is conducted periodically to measure supervision effectiveness. The implementation of supervision management shows significant improvement in teachers' pedagogical competence with an average N-Gain of 0,68 in the medium to high category. The success of supervision is supported by transformational leadership, collaborative culture, and constructive feedback.

Abstract

Program Adiwiyata di SD Negeri 37 Pangkalpinang yang telah dilaksanakan sejak tahun 2018. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan Model Scriven dengan menitikberatkan pada penilaian keberhargaan dan kebermaknaan program berdasarkan kondisi nyata di lapangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi lingkungan sekolah, wawancara dengan kepala sekolah dan warga sekolah, telaah dokumen program, serta analisis sarana pendukung lingkungan seperti greenhouse, taman sekolah, dan bank sampah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Program Adiwiyata telah diimplementasikan dengan baik, ditunjang oleh kebijakan sekolah yang berwawasan lingkungan, partisipasi aktif warga sekolah, serta ketersediaan fasilitas ramah lingkungan. Implementasi program tersebut berdampak pada terbentuknya perilaku peduli lingkungan di kalangan siswa dan diperkuat dengan pencapaian sebagai Sekolah Adiwiyata Nasional. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat beberapa aspek yang perlu ditingkatkan, terutama konsistensi perilaku peduli lingkungan siswa, optimalisasi pemanfaatan fasilitas kompos, serta integrasi pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan ke dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Secara keseluruhan, Program Adiwiyata di SD Negeri 37 Pangkalpinang memiliki tingkat keberhasilan yang tinggi dan berpotensi untuk ditingkatkan menuju Adiwiyata Mandiri melalui penguatan strategi keberlanjutan dan monitoring secara berkala.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension in pregnancy is one of the main causes of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. Psychological factors such as stress and lifestyle factors such as diet are known to play a role in increasing the risk of hypertension during pregnancy. Objective: To determine the relationship between stress levels and diet with the incidence of hypertension in pregnancy at Simpang IV Sipin Community Health Center, Jambi City. Method: Quantitative research with a cross-sectional design. The study sample consisted of 96 pregnant women in the second and third trimesters selected using a total sampling technique. Stress levels were measured using the DASS-42 questionnaire, diet was measured using a structured questionnaire, and blood pressure was classified into Grade 1, 2, and 3 hypertension. Data analysis was performed using the Spearman Rank correlation test with a significance level of α = 0.05. Results: Most respondents experienced mild stress (70.8%), had a good diet (54.2%), and had Grade 1 hypertension (88.5%). Spearman's test results showed a strong and significant relationship between stress levels and the incidence of hypertension (rs = 0.691; p < 0.001), as well as a moderate and significant relationship between diet and the incidence of hypertension (rs = 0.386; p < 0.001). Conclusion: Stress levels and diet are significantly associated with the incidence of hypertension in pregnancy. Stress screening and nutrition education are needed as part of antenatal care.

Abstract

Ada beberapa masalah psikologis santri yang mungkin dipicu oleh tingkat disiplin tinggi dan dorongan untuk beradaptasi, contoh seperti santri yang cenderung introvert dan belum terbiasa jauh dari orang tua, mengalami penurunan motivasi dalam belajar, mengalami tekanan, kesepian atau masalah psikologis lainnya, sehingga berpotensi untuk kabur atau lebih ekstrimnya lagi bisa melukai diri sendiri. Hal tersebut dikarenakan dukungan psikososial dan konseling yang kurang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi yang digunakan guru pesantren dalam membangun emotional bonding dengan santri berdasarkan kajian fenomenologi disiplin positif di lingkungan pesantren, hal ini dilakukan karena disiplin positif menjadi pendekatan pertama yang perlu diterapkan sebelum menerapkan aturan-aturan pendisiplinan dan konsekuensi lainnya, sehingga guru bisa membangun pola pikir yang terbuka dan empatik menghadapi santri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka sebagai pendekatan utama dalam menggali pemahaman konseptual dan teoritis terhadap fenomena yang diteliti, langkah awal adalah mengidentifikasi dan memilih sumber pustaka yang relevan dengan topik penelitian, analisis dan sintesis dilakukan untuk menggali temuan, konsep, teori, dan penarikan kesimpulan secara objektif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa emotional bonding (pendekatan emosional) dengan santri merupakan proses penting dalam membangun hubungan kuat dan saling percaya antara guru pesantren dan santri, sehingga meningkatkan efektivitas pembinaan karakter dan disiplin, melalui teknik; 1.) koneksi sebelum koreksi, 2.) menyapa secara rutin, 3.) menyediakan waktu khusus untuk berinteraksi, 4.) validasi perasaan, dan 5.) mendengarkan secara aktif. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa, pendekatan ini tidak hanya menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang hangat dan mendukung, tetapi juga membantu santri merasa dihargai, aman, dan dipedulikan, sehingga mereka lebih terbuka dan termotivasi untuk berkembang secara emosional dan spiritual.

Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees and analyzed using partial (t-test) and simultaneous (F-test) regression analyses. The results showed that work communication has a significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 9.288 > 1.670 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. This means that effective work communication between superiors and subordinates, as well as among colleagues, can improve employee performance. Good communication minimizes misunderstandings, strengthens coordination, and increases motivation to achieve organizational goals. Furthermore, job stress also has a significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by a t-value of 2.248 > 1.670 and a significance value of 0.027 < 0.05. High levels of job stress tend to reduce performance, while controlled stress levels can encourage better work outcomes. Therefore, managing job stress through proper workload distribution, comfortable work environments, and psychological support is essential. Simultaneously, the F- test results show that work communication and job stress together have a significant effect on employee performance, with an F-value of 47.631 > 3.15 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. These findings indicate that effective communication combined with good stress management can create a productive and harmonious work environment that enhances employee performance.
