Abstract

This study aims to determine the criteria and aspects of optimizing the role of zakat and infaq. This research's further objective is to build a model that can be used to determine criteria and priority aspects to become input for related parties to improve the role of zakat and waqf. This study combines descriptive qualitative and quantitative research using the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method. In building models and calculations, experts are involved in producing results following conditions in the field. This study indicates that zakat and waqf have played a role in encouraging national economic growth. Aspects that become alternatives in optimization are aspects of policy/legality / institutional, technical aspects of operations/databases, human resources/management aspects, aspects of auditing/control, socialization/community literacy, and cooperation aspects. The criteria used in selecting alternatives are effective criteria (collection and distribution) and efficient criteria (cheap, fast, and applicable). The ANP model connects alternatives and criteria and calculates that the order of priority from the highest to the lowest is 1. Policy, Legality, and Institutions (47.28%); 2. Human Resources / Management Aspects (13.94%), 3. Socialization Aspects (12.66%); 4. Cooperation Aspects (12.54%); 5. Operational / Database Technical Aspects (8.27%) and; 6. Audit / Control Aspects (5.29%).

Abstract

This research investigated factors that influence the positive brand experiences of older consumers that lead them to be loyal to the product. Data were collected using a paper-based survey, and 362 older consumers participated in the research. Using path analysis, the results suggested that the relationship between brand experience and brand loyalty was stronger when the experience of older consumers predicted their loyalty through affectivity and trust. This research provided evidence that the consumer and brand relationship could be explained using the triangular theory of love and the theory of planned behavior. It can be concluded that the affection and trust of older consumers are essential. Thus, their experience of the product leadsto loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of inflation, US dollar exchange rates, interest rates, and world oil prices on fluctuations in gold prices in Indonesia in 2014 - 2019. This research is a type of explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The data used are monthly time series data for 2014 - 2019 with a sample of 72 samples. The multiple linear regression model is used as an analysis technique in this study. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously (F test) inflation, USD exchange rates, interest rates, and world oil prices have a significant effect on gold price fluctuations in Indonesia. Partially (t-test) shows that the USD exchange rate has a significant positive effect on gold price fluctuations in Indonesia. Inflation and interest rates have a negative and insignificant effect on fluctuations in gold prices in Indonesia. Meanwhile, world oil prices have a positive and insignificant effect on gold price fluctuations in Indonesia.

Abstract

The implementation ​​of religious tolerance is a standard of consideration consistent concept of humans towards mutual respect of other religions by living together without mixing beliefs. This research uses a qualitative case study approach through observation, interview and documentation. The results of the study show that: the values ​​of religious tolerance which are internalized in the subject of Islamic Religious Education at a public high school in Rembang have been well actualized by students and all school members through the realization of school programs that support the internalization of religious tolerance values. The supporting factor for the actualization of the value of tolerance at at a public high school in Rembang is the goal orientation of each school member, including the principles of wholeness, unity, humanism, and socialism.

Abstract

The mathematical communication skill of SMP student is commonly still low. The problem is caused by lack of learning which relates mathematical material in the school with contextual problem especially at coastal context. Therefore, the need for learning that can sensitize the students in communicating the coastal problems in their environment. This is done to prevent the hands of irresponsible due to limited knowledge in developing coastal resources there. The aim of this research is to improve mathematical communication skill and disposition of student through the application of coastal contextual learning. Based on the analysis results, it can be concluded that overall mathematical communication skill and disposition of students which get coastal contextual learning have higher significant improvement than students who get PKV. The improvement of student mathematical communication skill which get coastal contextual learning is in moderate category, mean while mathematical disposition of student is in low one. Based on the analysis of interview and observation data show that coastal contextual learning can improve student’s activity in learning.

Abstract

ASSOCIATION BETWEEN PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND ADULT OBESITY IN INDONESIA(Secondary Data Analysis of the Basic Health Research 2007) The enhancement of social economy status and the life style changes, including changes in eating habits and reduction of physical activities, increased overweight and obesity revalence. This paper aims to study the association between physical activity and adult obesity in Indonesia. This research used Basic Health Research (Riset Kesehatan Dasar) 2007 data with cross-sectional design. The populations were all household members aged ≥ 18 years, whereas the samples were all household members aged ≥ 18, physically and mentally healthy, non-pregnant, and their BMI were at least 18.5 kg/m 2. The respondent was obese if his/her BMI was at least 18.5 kg/m2. Physical activity was assessed with questions about its type (vigorous and moderate) and its duration per week. Logistic regression was used to study the relationship between physical activity and adult obesity. The result showed that Obesity prevalence (BMI27kg/m2) in adult was 12.47% (CI 95%: 12.28 – 12.66). The result showed tthere was a relationship between physical activity and adult obesity, controlled by confounder variable (area, age, sex, marital status, education, occupation, and smoking habits). People who had low level of physical activity had more risk to be obese than those who had high level physical activity. It has been recommended that to reduce the risk of being obese, it is advisable to have sufficient physical activity such as alking, jogging, running, and biking. It is also necessary for the Ministry of Health to develop guidance of sufficient physical activity.Keywords: obesity, adult, physical activity

Abstract

Laboratory of the study Program is the on factor that imfluence the quality of student in the process of theirstudy in Vocational Program . In order that, laboratory must become the crucial factor in producing qualifiedalumni.The quality of teaching ini laboratory in general was imfluenced some factors like: lecturer/instructur,curicullum, tools or su pported facilities in laboratory. For that reason, in this research we want to know thegeneral of student in laboratory teaching. Factors that was identified included : degree of studentsatisfaction, quality of teaching, and laboratory supporting facilities . Abstract

Background: Pain stimulates distress emergence that potentially impairs the development and growth on neonates. Heel prick brings about pain. This research aimed at observing the effectiveness of sucrose and swaddling on pain response to neonates. Methods: A clinical trial was designed by random under control using cross-over design. This study involved 24 neonates (aged 28 days) which taken from population using a consecutive sampling technique. Each subject was given two treatments of sucrose (24%) and swaddling, but the pain responses were observed at different time during and after received the heel prick (1, 2, and 3 minutes). Response of neonatal pain focused on face observation, oxygen saturation, and heart rate, but scored by the experts using a set of observation sheets from Cries Neonatal Postoperative Pain Measurement Tool (CNPPMT). Results: During the heel prick, the average of pain response was found higher on sucrose group (2.67). After a minute elapsed, the average of pain response on both groups was similar (1.96). After two and three minutes elapsed, the average of pain response was found higher on swaddling group. Bivariate results showed that there was no different average of the pain response on both groups during the heel prick (p=0.925) and after the heel prick (one minute (p=0.915), two minutes (p= 0.942), and three minutes (p=0.132)). Conclusions: Research revealed that sucrose and swaddling equally effective in reducing pain response on neonatal blood spot by heel prick. Swaddling could be carried out to reduce pain response on infants when pricking applied.

Abstract

Era industri 4.0 telah mengubah cara orang hidup dan bekerja, sehingga organisasi perlu melakukan inovasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara perilaku kerja inovatif karyawan (IWB) dan modal psikologis (PsyCap), juga mengetahui dampak dari program intervensi PsyCap dalam meningkatkan perilaku kerja inovatif karyawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu lembaga pemerintah. Studi ini mengambil sebanyak 424 sampel data untuk melihat hubungan yang terkait antara PsyCap dan IWB, serta menggunakan sebanyak 18 sampel acak karyawan untuk program intervensinya. Ditemukan bahwa PsyCap memiliki hubungan yang positif dengan IWB. Program intervensi “I’m Superhero in the workplace”, menunjukkan perubahan rata-rata variabel PsyCap dan IWB sebelum dan sesudah program. Hasil ini menyiratkan bahwa organisasi dapat memiliki intervensi PsyCap untuk meningkatkan IWB pada karyawan mereka. Studi ini mengidentifikasi efek luas dan unik dari intervensi PsyCap di lembaga pemerintah. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa organisasi dapat mengembangkan karyawan PsyCap, mengingat efek uniknya pada variabel hasil karyawan seperti IWB.

Abstract

Semakin banyaknya jumlah perempuan yang bekerja mengarahkan organisasi untuk melakukan perubahan yang besar dalam mengelola sumber daya manusia dan juga peraturan yang berlaku (Ugargol et al., 2016). Disertai dengan peningkatan penggunaan teknologi dalam organisasi juga menjadikan banyak organisasi yang menerapkan pengaturan kerja yang fleksibel. Berbagai penelitian menjelaskan dampak dari penerapan pengaturan kerja fleksibel yang menunjukkan hasil yang bertentangan dikarenakan minimnya pengawasan. Hal ini membuat hubungan antara penerapan fleksibilitas kerja dengan pengambilan keputusan secara etis menjadi topik yang penting untuk diteliti, terutama di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara pengaturan kerja fleksibel (Flexible Work Arrangement) dengan pengambilan keputusan secara etis (Ethical Decision Making) yang dimediasi oleh keterlibatan karyawan (Employee Engagement). Penelitian yang dilakukan kepada 301 orang partisipan menunjukkan bahwa pengaturan kerja fleksibel berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pengambilan keputusan secara etis melalui keterlibatan karyawan. Sehingga penerapan pengaturan kerja fleksibel dapat menjadi anteseden untuk keterlibatan karyawan yang akan dapat meningkatkan pengambilan keputusan etis pada karyawan di dalam organisasi.Kata Kunci: Flexible work arrangement;Ethical Decision Making;Employee Engagement
