Abstract

Di tengah modernisasi Indonesia yang kian materialistik, puisi-puisi Abdul Hadi menjadi oase sekaligus kritik kebudayaan yang menghidupkan kembali nilai-nilai spiritual yang universal sebagai inti filsafat perenial. Sebagai penyair dan profesor, Abdul Hadi ternyata tidak hanya menyajikan puisi-puisi sufistik seperti yang kita kenal selama ini. Namun juga menawarkan aspek-aspek perenial. Maka, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis puisi-puisi Abdul Hadi W.M. dalam buku antologi puisi Tuhan, Kita Begitu Dekat melalui perspektif filsafat perenial dengan metode penelitian atau pendekatan takwil (hermeneutika Islam): (1) Benarkah Abdul Hadi adalah seorang perenialis dan bukan hanya sufistik? (2) Adakah puisi-puisi Abdul Hadi mengandung aspek-aspek filsafat perenial? (3) Apa itu filsafat perenial, dan bagaimana kerangka berpikirnya dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis puisi? (4) Bagaimana gambaran puisi-puisi Abdul Hadi mengusung (a) perbedaan antara Yang Real dan yang ilusi dan (b) upaya konsentrasi menyatu dengan Yang Real? Selain itu, puisi seperti “Barat dan Timur” merupakan yang paling kuat menunjukkan inti perenialisme: bahwa setiap tradisi spiritual mengandung inti kebenaran ilahi yang tunggal. Dengan demikian, puisi-puisi Abdul Hadi dapat dibaca dan dihayati oleh pembaca lintas iman dan budaya.

Abstract

The rise of environment crisis are caused by human activities. The effect of destructive behavior, threat of human life substainabilities is felt. The center of enviroment problems philosophically is lack of relation equilibrium between human being and enviroment. This research focused on environmental education concept, Qur'anic view of environment, and environment education construct of Qur'an paradigm. The kind of this research is library one. The data collection is documentation technique. The results of this research are environmental education is an effort to change behavior and attitude made by various parties or elements of society that aims to increase knowledge, skill and communities’ awareness of environmental values that ultimately can drive environmental safety for the benefit of future generation. The Qur'an becomes moral code governing human relationship with their environment. environment structure becomes human’s responsibility as God's servant on earth. The Qur'an very firmly says that the main role of human is as sevant ('abd Allâh) whose their primary mission is serving his Lord as well as the manager (khalîfah) who are able to utilize and prosper this universe. The environment education based the Quranic paradigm is directed to programme and education activities that aim at consiousness and wisdom to environment based on the Quranic values. The environmental education motivate the students to belong to the Quranic character in protecting the environment from damages and quarenting its conservation.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal Islamic boarding schools' learning models and quality in the Equality Education Program of Salaf Islamic Boarding Schools in Madura. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The research was conducted in several Islamic boarding schools of Madura island to represent Islamic boarding schools that have implemented the Salaf Islamic Boarding School Equality Education Program. The results of this study indicate that the equality program has been carried out in several Islamic boarding schools in Madura. The implementation of this program is carried out by applying a mixed learning model, namely the conventional learning model (sorogan and bandongan) and the online learning model, through the Equality Test, Computer-Based National Assessment (CBNA), and Computer-Based Education Unit Examination (CBEUE). Quality assurance is implemented by utilizing an internal and external evaluation system. While a particular team from the Ministry of Religion conducts external evaluations, pesantren administrators and managers are responsible for internal evaluations. The shift in madrasah diniyah education shows that pesantren have been able to apply online learning models while maintaining conventional learning models. The quality of pesantren is increasing with the number of students, equalizing students' education with general education, and obtaining formal recognition from the National Accreditation Board for schools/madrasahs.

Abstract

Error-Correcting Code (ECC) is one of the solutions that have been widely developed to overcome errors, with the aim of detecting and correcting errors that occur. Among the various types of ECC, Goppa code have proven to be effective in maintaining data integrity. This study focuses on examining how the algebraic structure of the Goppa code is utilized for ECC, thereby enabling an understanding of how elements in the field can be transformed into binary vectors and polynomials to construct the parity-check matrix and the generator matrix. The algebraic structure is then analyzed to determine whether it can be optimized to detect and correct errors in the encoding and decoding processes. Subsequently, a simple program will be developed using the SageMath programming language, followed by simulations. The simulation results are expected to optimize the error-correction capacity, thereby demonstrating an improvement in the error-correction capability of the Goppa code during the decoding process.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of integrating Human Rights values into Islamic education, which is often perceived as having a gap with the concept of human rights. Values such as justice, equality, and tolerance are inherently embedded in Islamic teachings; however, in educational practice, these values are not always systematically internalized within the curriculum. Many Islamic educational institutions still convey these values implicitly without explicitly linking them to the concept of human rights, which may lead to a partial understanding among students. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at MA Ainul Falah. The research subjects include the principal, teachers, and students. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations of the learning process, and documentation such as lesson plans, syllabi, and school regulations. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity is ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that the internalization of human rights values occurs through stages of understanding, internalization, and practice, which are integrated into both classroom learning and school culture. Teachers apply cognitive, affective, and psychomotor strategies in the process. The main challenges include limited teacher understanding, the absence of explicit curriculum integration, and school culture constraints, while solutions involve teacher training, curriculum integration, and strengthening an inclusive school culture.

Abstract

Algebraic thinking and algebraic reasoning are core competencies in mathematics education; however, students often exhibit procedural skills without adequate conceptual understanding. This study aims to synthesize empirical research on algebraic thinking and algebraic reasoning through the lens of the Pirie–Kieren theory of conceptual understanding. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted using a structured and transparent protocol. Articles were collected from Google Scholar and Scopus databases using the keywords algebraic thinking and algebraic reasoning, covering publications from 2018 to 2026. From an initial pool of 400 articles, 32 empirical studies met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed using thematic coding. The findings show that algebraic thinking primarily develops in the early to intermediate layers of understanding, namely Primitive Knowing, Image Making, Image Having, and Property Noticing. In contrast, algebraic reasoning is more dominant in advanced layers, including Formalising, Observing, and Structuring. Students’ difficulties in algebra, such as errors in symbolization, limited generalization, and weak justification, reflect transitions between layers and frequently involve folding back processes. This study concludes that the Pirie–Kieren framework provides a coherent and dynamic perspective for integrating algebraic thinking and reasoning, with implications for designing algebra instruction that emphasizes conceptual growth and reflective learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the spatial distribution of dengue incidence and the implementation of the Aedes aegypti Wolbachia program in Bontang City. A descriptive ecological design with a spatial analysis approach was used, utilizing secondary data from the Bontang City Health Office during 2023–2024. Prior to the intervention, high incidence rates (IR) were observed in several sub-districts, particularly Gunung Telihan, Bontang Lestari, Berbas Pantai, and Kanaan, indicating active transmission hotspots. During the early phase of the program, IR remained fluctuating, with increases observed in areas such as Berbas Tengah and Gunung Telihan. However, in subsequent periods, a general decline in IR was identified in several high-risk areas, including Gunung Telihan and Kanaan. The distribution of Wolbachia-infected mosquitoes showed a gradual increase over time, especially in sub-districts such as Belimbing, Kanaan, and Tanjung Laut, although fluctuations were still observed in some locations. Overall, the findings suggest that the Wolbachia program contributed to reducing dengue transmission, despite variations in its spatial distribution across sub-districts.

Abstract

Hypertension is a degenerative disease whose prevalence continues to increase, particularly among the elderly population. Based on the 2023 Indonesian Health Survey data, the prevalence of hypertension in East Kalimantan reached approximately half a million people, with a high number of cases in Samarinda City, especially within the working area of the Samarinda Kota Community Health Center. This study aimed to analyze factors associated with hypertension self-management among elderly patients at the Samarinda Kota Community Health Center. The factors examined included knowledge, self-efficacy, family support, healthcare provider support, medication adherence, and blood pressure. This study employed an observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach, conducted in 2025, involving 117 elderly respondents selected using a cluster sampling technique. The findings of this study identified associations between knowledge, self-efficacy, family support, healthcare provider support, medication adherence, and blood pressure with hypertension self-management among the elderly at the Samarinda Kota Community Health Center.  Hypertension is often referred to as a “silent killer” because it can affect anyone and typically presents without specific symptoms. Age-related decreases in vascular elasticity make the elderly more susceptible to hypertension. Adopting appropriate lifestyle practices plays a crucial role in maintaining normal blood pressure levels.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of cognitive ability on service reception skills in table tennis extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 89 Jakarta. The research used a quantitative approach with a causal associative method and ex post facto design. The population consisted of 20 students participating in the table tennis extracurricular activity for the 2025/2026 academic year, with a total sampling technique. Data were collected through a cognitive ability test using a Guttman scale (true/false format) covering cognitive dimensions C1 to C6 (19 valid items), and a service reception skill test with 30 trials assessed using a structured observation rubric. Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression through SPSS version 31. Descriptive statistics showed a mean cognitive ability score of 67.80 and a mean service reception skill score of 78.70. Normality test using Shapiro-Wilk indicated that both variables were normally distributed (sig. > 0.05). Linearity test showed a significant linear relationship (sig. deviation from linearity = 0.716). However, the results of simple linear regression showed F = 0.200 with sig. = 0.660 (> 0.05) and R² = 0.011, indicating that cognitive ability did not have a significant effect on service reception skills and only contributed 1.1% to it. These findings suggest that at the beginner-to-intermediate stage, technical factors and practice frequency are more dominant than cognitive ability measured through written tests.

Abstract

This research is based on the finding that the basic underhand passing skills of volleyball among female students in class X of SMKF Bhakti Kencana Bogor were still not optimal. To address this issue, an alternative that can be applied is the use of a reciprocal teaching style that emphasizes active student involvement through interaction, cooperation, and peer feedback during the learning process. The results showed that the application of the reciprocal teaching style was able to improve the students' underhand passing skills. This was evident from the increase in the average pretest score of 55.41 to 79.44 in the posttest. The normality test obtained a significance value of 0.139 (> 0.05), indicating that the data is normally distributed. Furthermore, the correlation analysis showed a strong relationship between pretest and posttest scores with a correlation coefficient of 0.779. The effect size (Cohen's d) of 2.580 indicates that the treatment had a very large impact on improving students' underhand passing skills. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the application of the reciprocal teaching style has a positive and effective influence on improving the basic underhand passing skills of volleyball in class X female students of SMKF Bhakti Kencana Bogor.
