Abstract

The increasing level of public awareness of the alternative banking system with the iB logo (read ai-Bi, Islamic banking) is part of the results of intensive socialization by regulators over the past few years. Like a ripe fruit, this public enthusiasm is ready to be picked by Islamic banks that are observant and quick to capture market opportunities. And if that happens, it is not impossible that iB (Islamic Banking) will accelerate even faster than its growth so far which has been very impressive reaching 46.3% per year. researchers try to confirm the relationship between CARTER+ service quality, satisfaction, and retention in the context of Islamic banks in Indonesia. In addition, it is necessary to study more deeply about customer retention in enjoying Islamic banking products and services. In accordance with the function of the bank, namely establishing relationships with customers, it is able to create value that is felt directly by customers. This can foster long-term satisfaction and encourage customers to remain customers of the bank. one of the most important factors for customers to continue using bank products and services, the company must maintain the level of customer retention. In this study, the measurement model used is expected to, firstly, assist decision making in Islamic banking marketing and to identify determinants of the quality of Islamic banking services, better known as Islamic Banking Service Quality (iBSQ). Secondly, customer satisfaction of Islamic state-owned banks is a direct response given by bank customers to the dimensions of Islamic state-owned bank service quality, which in the end can significantly increase customer retention. Thirdly, customer retention is the ultimate goal of all services from Islamic banking in general and Islamic state-owned banks in particular. In this study, the approach used is a quantitative approach (positivism) supported by informative qualitative. The data used are primary and secondary data. The SEM-PLS method applied to data processing is expected to be able to provide the expected information. In this study, the data sources were taken from 3 different banks, namely: Bank BRI Syariah, Bank BNI Syariah and Bank Syariah Mandiri. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of this study, the following conclusions can be drawn: (1) Of the seven dimensions of service quality that have a significant influence on customer satisfaction, the Sharia Compliance dimension is 19.3%, the Service System dimension is 28.4%, the Responsiveness dimension is 30.6% and the remaining 21.7% is influenced by other variables that are not included in the model. (2) Customer retention is significantly influenced by Customer Satisfaction by 28.2% while the remaining 71.8% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are one of the leading causes of sick leave and disability in many countries. Cashier jobs have a high risk of MSDs due to static work postures and repetitive movements. Several studies have identified ergonomic risk factors in cashier workers but studies using CMDQ and REBA in analyzing the risk of MSDs in workers are still limited. This study aims to evaluate the prevalence and risk factors causing MSDs in cashier workers and identify the relationship of individual and occupational factors to MSDs complaints. This study involved 114 self-service cashier workers aged 18-55 years. Data were collected through the completion of demographic questionnaires, CMDQ forms and work posture analysis using REBA. REBA results show that 1.8% of workers have low risk, 77.2% of workers have work postures with moderate risk levels, 18.4% of workers have high risk, and 2.6% have very high risk so that further investigation and changes to posture are needed. Results from the CMDQ showed that the highest prevalence of pain was in the right leg (86.8%), left leg (84.2%), and lower back (76.3%). Significant risk factors included age (p = 2.781 x 10-8), length of service (p = 6.66 x 10-11), body mass index (p = 1.47 x 10-7), gender (p = 0.005), and work posture measured using REBA (p = 2.2 x 10-16). Kendall-Tau test also showed a positive relationship between these variables and MSDs complaints. This study shows that cashier workers with high work posture risk have a greater prevalence of MSDs. Multiple linear regression tests showed that the dominant factors causing MSDs complaints in cashier workers were posture and workstation height. Ergonomic recommendations are needed to reduce the risk of MSDs, especially for workers with high risk levels.

Abstract

A variety of flavored yogurt has been widely known; however, adding fruit would impact the choice of this product.  In this experiment, some fruits, such as Ananas comosus and Cucumis melo had been supplemented in yogurt made from dairy goat milk.  This research used a completely randomized design 4 x 4, applying four treatments with four replications.  The treatments were FO: yogurt with no addition of fruit; FA: yogurt with 10% fruit Ananas; FC: yogurt with 10% fruit Cucumis; FM: yogurt with mixed addition of 5% fruit Ananas and 5% Cucumis. Data of sensory evaluation and pH were analyzed using Anova. Results showed no significant differences in color, odor and flavour among treatments. However, there was found the highest (P<0.05) score (3.30) on the texture of yogurt with C. melo.  On average, this yogurt and mixed fruit yogurt also showed high overall acceptability (2.65).  Yet, the Cucumis yogurt had high averages in TPC (2.8×107) and pH (5.72).  Cost production, in average, the mixed yogurt showed IDR 105,516 for 2,5 l (IDR 42,206 for 1 l yogurt).  It had IDR 5,790 difference from the one with no fruit yogurt.  In conclusion, yogurt with A. comosus had an optimal combination of sensory evaluation score, TPC, pH and cost production.

Abstract

Material selection in the construction industry is a strategic decision that affects the cost efficiency, durability, and sustainability of a project. This study applies the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine the best construction material based on four main criteria: mechanical strength, environmental resistance, cost efficiency, and environmental sustainability. The hierarchical structure is built with three levels: material selection objectives, evaluation criteria, and compared material alternatives—namely structural steel, cross-laminated timber (CLT), and reinforced concrete. The assessment uses the Saaty scale (1–9), then the matrix is normalized to obtain priority weights. Consistency tests are carried out by calculating the maximum eigenvalue (λmax), Consistency Index (CI), and Consistency Ratio (CR). The results show that structural steel has the highest weight (0.4888093), making it the best choice compared to CLT and reinforced concrete. This study confirms that the AHP method is able to reduce subjectivity in decision making with a data-driven approach. Integration with technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) can improve the accuracy of the analysis. Thus, this method can be a solution in selecting construction materials that are more systematic and sustainable.

Abstract

In the Law of the Republic of Indonesia number 3 of 2002 concerning national defense, it is said that national defense is prepared early to face existing threats. The purpose of state defense is to maintain and protect state sovereignty, maintain the territorial integrity of the Republic of Indonesia, and maintain the safety of the entire nation from all forms of threats both from outside and from within the country. The threats in question are divided into 3: military, non-military, and hybrid. Meanwhile, according to the priority scale, threats are divided into 2: actual threats and potential threats. One of the actual threats that occur in Indonesia can be seen from the problems of terrorism and radicalism that still often occur in various regions and communities in Indonesia. In the Law of the Republic of Indonesia number 34 of 2004, it is stated that the TNI in carrying out its primary duties is carried out through war military operations and military operations other than war, where in more detail in article 7 paragraph (2) point (b) states that one of the military operations other than war (OMSP) is to overcome acts of terrorism, which according to the Center for Studies The TNI strategy in its study on the role of the TNI in preventing the development of radicalism, terrorism is deeply rooted in radicalism.

Abstract

This research focuses on the design and fabrication of a high-power LED (HPL) light that integrates red, green, and blue LEDs for underwater lighting, commonly known as "lacuda," used on floating fishing rafts. The lamp features an aluminum heatsink with integrated fins for efficient heat dissipation and is coated with a resin-catalyst mixture for durability. The study involved measuring, drafting, assembling, and wiring the LEDs, followed by field testing in Krueng Raya Bay, Aceh Province. The primary objective was to evaluate the performance of HPL LED lights compared to traditional tubular fluorescent lamps (TL) used on floating rafts. Results showed that the HPL LED lights met design specifications and were technically suitable for fishing operations. Notably, they proved more efficient than TLs by providing superior light penetration when submerged, addressing the limitations of surface-mounted lighting. These findings suggest that HPL LED lights are a viable alternative for underwater lighting in fishing operations.
