AbstractThis study aims to describe how the students' mathematical creative thinking abilities in the two-dimensional figure area material are studied from the learning styles of students in junior high schools. The aspects that are wanted to be clarified, namely: students' mathematical creative thinking abilities are studied from visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles. The research method used is descriptive method in the form of survey research. The subjects of the study were class VIII E students of SMP Negeri 02 Pontianak. Based on the results obtained indicate that the mathematical creative thinking ability of students with visual learning styles in class VIII of SMP Negeri 02 Pontianak, some students are able to achieve fluency and novelty indicators and others are only able to achieve fluency indicators, students' mathematical creative thinking ability with auditory learning styles in class VIII SMP Negeri 02 Pontianak able to achieve fluency and novelty indicators, and students' mathematical creative thinking ability with kinesthetic learning styles in class VIII SMP Negeri 02 Pontianak some students are able to reach fluency and novelty indicators and others are only able to reach fluency indicators.Keywords: Learning Styles, Mathematical Creative Thinking Abilities.

AbstractThis research aims to analyze the development of lesson plans based on PBL model to improve student learning independence in mathematics subjects in grade IV of SDN 27 Pontianak Tenggara. The method used in this research is research and development that was developed with the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques and indirect communication by questionnaire and observation. Based on the calculation of the average percentage of the learning independence questionnaire that obtained the results of the first and second questionnaires there was an increase of 0.54%, from the second and third questionnaires there was an increase of 0.1% while the third and fourth questionnaires increased by 3%. If seen from the student activity sheet from the results of Lesson Plan 1 revision 1 and Lesson Plan 2 revision 1 decreased 1.49%, while Lesson Plan 2 revision 1 and Lesson Plan 1 revision 2 an increase of 3.6%, and Lesson Plan 1 revision 2 and Lesson Plan 2 revision 2 an increase of 1.61%. This proves that the development of lesson plans based on PBL models can improve student learning independence in mathematics subject in grade IV of SDN 27 Pontianak Tenggara. AbstractThe purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the ability to solve rectangular flat matter material based on the ability of students in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 9 Pontianak. Based on these objectives, the appropriate method used in this research is descriptive method. The form of research used is a survey. To obtain the data needed in this study, the instrument used was in the form of tests of the ability to solve rectangular flat figure building questions and interviews. The results showed that the students' ability in completing rectangular flat matter material story problems as a whole was based on their ability level, namely for group students on the ability to solve mathematical story problems classified as high, for middle group students the ability to solve mathematical story problems was classified as moderate, for lower group students the ability to solve mathematical story problems is moderate. The ability to solve students' flat story matter questions in quadrilateral according to their level of ability. AbstractThe purpose of this research was to describe students' analogical reasoning based on Clement's stages in three-dimensional material at SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak. The method in this research was descriptive method with a case study research form. The subjects in this study were eight students of class XII IPA 3 SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak. The results of the analogy reasoning test showed that students of class XII IPA 3 SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak had analogous reasoning based on the low Clement stage, were of the four stages, namely the Generating the Analogy stage, the Evaluating the Analogy Relation stage, the Understanding the Analogy Case stage and the Transferring Findings stage can only be reached by two students. In Generating the Analogy stage, six students can reach it. Evaluating the Analogy Relations stage can be achieved by four students. Understanding the Analogy Case stage can be achieved by three students. Meanwhile, the Transferring Findings stage can be achieved by two students. Keywords: Reasoning Analogy, Stages of Clement

AbstractThe problem in this study is "What is the effect of the demonstration method assisted by card media on fraction learning outcomes in class V students of 34 Pontianak City Primary Schools". This study aims to describe the effect of the demonstration method assisted by the media card in the learning of mathematics in fractions of class V 34 Primary School Pontianak City. This study uses an experimental method of Quasi Experimental Design with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of 34 Pontianak Elementary School. The sample in this study was class V B students totaling 34 students as the experimental class, and class V C students totaling 33 students as the control class. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques, and measurements. Data collection tools used were observation sheets and test essays. Based on the results of data analysis, the experimental class pre-test average was 61.99 and the experimental class post-test was 79.28. The average of the control class pre-test was 60.61 and the control class post-test was 76.48. From the results of the calculation of Effect Size (ES) of 0.31 including the classification is medium. This shows that the method of demonstration assisted by the media card has a moderate effect on learning outcomes in learning mathematics fraction material in class V 34 Primary Schools Pontianak City.Keywords : Card Media, Demonstration Method, Fraction,Influence, Learning Outcomes.

AbstractThis study aims to describe student learning motivation based on mathematical connection ability in contextual problems on comparative material in the Mujahidin Junior High School Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive method with data collection tools in the form of tests of mathematical connection ability, learning motivation questionnaire, and interviews. The research subjects observed were 6students of class VIII consisting of 2 students with high mathematical connection ability, 2 students with moderate mathematical connection ability, and 2 students with low mathematical connection ability. Motivation questionnaire results show students with high mathematical connection ability have high and medium learning motivation, students with moderate mathematical connection ability have moderate learning motivation, and students with low mathematical connection ability have low learning motivation. The results of the data analysis show that students who have high mathematical connection ability fulfill almost all observed motivation indicators, while students who have mathematical connection ability are only fulfilling some observed motivation indicators. As for students who have low mathematical connection skills do not meet all the motivational indicators observed.Keywords: Contextual Problems, Learning Motivation, Mathematical Connection Ability

AbstractThis research was aimed to know and describe the effectiveness of contextual approach in the algebraic expression topic at Class VII MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak. The aspects that want to be know and describe are the implementation of the learning process, student’s learning activites, and student’s outcomes. The research method is descriptive method. The research subject is student in class VII E. Base on the data analysis from three aspects are: (1) the implementation of the learning process categorized good with average score 3,45; (2) student’s learning activities categorized active (69,21%); (3) students’s outcomes is not reached classical completeness with only 69,44% of student can achieve the minimum completeness criteria. Because only two out of three aspects that achieved, the coclusion of this research is the implementation of contextual approach less effective in the algebraic expression topic at class VII E MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak. Abstract This study aims to describe the improvement of mathematics learning results through the application of google meet assisted drill method in grade IV E SD 34 South Pontianak. Research method used is action research with a form of class action research. Data collection techniques used in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis conducted in the form of average calculation data analysis and qualitative data analysis in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. Data collection instruments in the form of observation sheets, interview sheets and documentation. The results of the study are as follows; The teacher planning phase makes learning tools include RPP, LKPD and learning media that support the implementation of drills; Teachers carry out learning by applying drill methods in two cycles that contain exercises to students; The learning outcomes of the first cycle students 93.54% of students got a score above completion, while in cycle II 96.77% of students got a score above completion; The student's response to the implementation of the drill carried out by the teacher is that the student feels interested because by repeating the exercise the student feels more quickly understood. Abstract This study aimed to describe the correlation between independence and learning motivation on learning outcomes in the fifth grade thematic learning of SDN 46 Sungai Raya. The research method used was descriptive research with a correlational study form. The population in this study were 25 SDN 46 Sungai Raya students. The sample in this study were 25 students who were determined by the sampling technique, namely class V SDN 46 Sungai Raya totaling 26 students. The results showed that independent learning was 79.04%, learning motivation was 75.8%, and learning outcomes were obtained an average of 75.6. Statistical calculations used the product moment correlation formula, namely learning independence with learning outcomes obtained rcount of 0.78 and learning motivation with learning outcomes obtained rcount of 0.876. Independence and learning motivation on learning outcomes used the multiple correlation formula and gafe by R_ (y. 〖X_1 x〗_ (2)) of 0.775. it was categorized as a strong relationship with Fcount of 45.128 and Ftable ¬α = 5% of 3.42 which means (45,128)> Ftable ¬ (3,42), then Ha is accepted. So, it can be concluded that there was a relationship between independence and learning motivation on learning outcomes in thematic learning in class V SDN 46 Sungai Raya.
