Abstract

Permasalahan yang terjadi dikelas IV SD Negeri 2 Liligundi adalah kurangnya sumber atau bahan ajar lain yang digunakan oleh guru untuk menunjang pembelajaran di kelas, sehingga hasil belajar siswa kurang maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan modul berbasis pendekatan saintifik, (2) mendeskripsikan kualitas pengembangan modul IPA berbasis pendekatan saintifik, (3) mengetahui efektivitas modul IPA berbasis pendekatan saintifik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu model Hannafin dan Peck. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan tes. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik deskriptif kualitatif, deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Validitas media diuji coba kepada ahli isi mata pelajaran, ahli desain, ahli media, uji coba perorangan, kelompok kecil dan uji coba lapangan Untuk hasil secara berurutan yaitu 95,3 %, 85,2 %, 92%, 94,6%, 96,08%, dan 97,06%. Hasil uji efektifitas yang dianalisis dengan teknik statistik inferensial (uji-t) mendapatkan hasil rata-rata pretest (62,5) < hasil rata-rata posttest (88,3). Setelah dilakukan perhitungan secara manual dengan menggunakan uji-t didapatkan hasil yang menunjukkan thitung (9,521) > dari ttabel dengan db= n1+n2-2 = 10 pada taraf signifikan 5% yaitu 1,812. Jadi thitung > ttabel, maka berdasarkan ketentuan bila t hitung > t tabel maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar siswa sebelum menggunakan modul berbasis pendekatan Saintifik dan sesudah menggunakan modul berbasis pendekatan Saintifik.Kata Kunci : Model Hannafin dan Peck, modul, hasil belajar. The problem that occurred in grade IV of SD Negeri 2 Liligundi was the lack of resources or other teaching materials used by teacher to support the learning process in the classroom. So that, student’s learning outcomes were not really optimal. The purpose of this study was to (1) describe the process of developing modules using a scientific approach, (2) describe the quality of a science module development which used a scientific approach, (3) determine the effectiveness of a science module that used a scientific approach. This research was a research development. The development model used was Hannafin and Peck's model. Data collection methods used in this research were observations, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Analysis of the data used was descriptive qualitative techniques, quantitative descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The validity of the media was tested on subject matter experts, design experts, media experts, individual trials, small groups and field trials. The results were respectively 95.3%, 85.2%, 92%, 94.6%, 96, 08%, and 97.06%. The results of the effectiveness test were analyzed by inferential statistical techniques (t-test) to obtain an average pretest result (62.5) from the table with db = n1 + n2-2 = 10 at a significant level of 5%, 1,812. So t count> t table, then based on the provisions if t count> t table which could be concluded that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Meaning that there were significant differences in student’s learning outcomes between before and after using modules with scientific approach.keyword : Hannafin and Peck model, module, learning outcome.

Abstract

The lack of availability of the assessment instruments used and the unfulfilled cognitive level C4-C6 resulted in the assessment carried out less than optimal. This study aimed to develop an instrument for assessing science learning outcomes based on HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills). This research was development research that uses a 4D model (four-D model) with development stages consisting of define, design, develop, and distribute. This development research was only carried out until the development stage. The subject of this research was the HOTS-based science learning outcome assessment instrument in the form of grids and multiple-choice test sheets. Data were obtained by using interviews, observation, and test methods. The validation of the assessment instrument was carried out by two material experts using a validation sheet and 78 students for a limited trial using multiple-choice objective test instruments. The results obtained will be analyzed for validity, reliability, discriminatory power, level of difficulty, and quality of distractors. The results of the analysis of the HOTS-based science learning outcome assessment instrument had a validity of 0.90 which was in the very high category, reliability of 0.81 which was in the very high category. Distinguishing analysis obtained 2 items with very good criteria, 14 items with good criteria, and 9 items with sufficient criteria. In the difficulty level test, 12 questions were obtained in the easy category and 13 questions in the medium category. Analysis of the distractor quality test found 63 distractors were at the >5% level, which means the distractors are functioning well and 12 distractors were at the 5% level, which means the distractors were not functioning properly. These results indicated that the HOTS-based science learning outcome test assessment instrument developed was valid and reliable and is suitable for use as an assessment instrument in various styles of material.

Abstract

Nanas (Ananas comosus L.) merupakan salah satu buah tropika yang berpotensi menjadi komoditas ekspor. Produksi nanas di Jawa Timur dari tahun 2009 sampai 2014 meningkat dari 44.275 ton hingga 186.949 ton namun menurun dari tahun 2015 sampai 2017 sebesar 171.303 ton hingga 126.963 ton. Salah satu masalah yang dihadapi dalam budidaya nanas adalah membutuhkan waktu yang lama dalam pembungaan dan keseragaman pembungaan. Salah satu upaya perangsangan bunga terhadap tanaman nanas agar dapat berbunga serempak yaitu dengan cara Forcing. Forcing adalah teknik perangsangan pembungaan untuk mempercepat dan menyeragamkan pembungaan. Forcing secara efektif dapat dilakukan pada malam hari. Hipotesis dari penelitian ini adalah pengaplikasian Forcing di waktu malam hari dengan konsentrasi ethephon sebanyak 2000 ppm/liter. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai Mei 2020, Di Desa Ngancar, Kecamatan Ngancar, Kabupaten Kediri, Jawa Timur.  Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Rancangan Tersarang (Nested Design) dengan menggunakan 2 faktor dan diulang sebanyak 4 kali. Faktor pertama yaitu waktu Forcing dengan 2 taraf sebagai berikut Pagi Hari, Malam Hari. Pada faktor kedua yaitu konsentrasi etephon dengan empat taraf sebagai berikut 500 ppm , 1000 ppm , 1500 ppm, 2000 ppm. Pada pengamatan presentase tanaman berbunga perlakuan waktu Forcing malam hari dengan konsentrasi ethephon 2000 ppm menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik daripada perlakuan lainnya yaitu 50,00 %. presentase pembungaan menunjukkan hasil 100 % ,variabel pengamatan jumlah daun dan berat kering tidak menunjukkan pengaruh nyata.

Abstract

Nanas (Ananas comosus L.) merupakan komoditas buah ekspor unggulan Indonesia. Sentra produksi nanas di provinsi Jawa Timur terletak di Kabupaten Kediri. Waktu panen yang tidak serempak  akan merugikan dari segi efisiensi, efektivitas tenaga kerja, mesin panen, waktu dan biaya. Pembungaan yang serempak akan menyamakan waktu pematangan buah, sehingaa petani dapat memprediksi waktu panen dengan tepat. Solusi yang dapat digunakan untuk permasalahan pembungaan tanaman nanas ialah dengan menggunakan metode forcing. Forcing ialah upaya perangsangan pembungaan pada tanaman nanas. Bahan kimia yang digunakan dalam melakukan forcing ialah etilen dengan campuran  urea. Hal ini dikarenakan pemberian urea dapat meningkatkan efisiensi penyerapan ethephon saat penginduksian bunga, sehingga dapat meningkatkan etilen pada jaringan tanaman nanas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan konsentrasi urea yang tepat pada konsentrasi ethrel sehingga dapat mempercepat pembungaan pada tanaman nanas (Ananas comosus L.) cv. Queen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai Mei 2020, di desa Ngancar, Kecamatan Ngancar, Kabupaten Kediri, Jawa Timur. Percobaan dilakukan menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi (Spli Plot Design) dengan 2 faktor dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi ethrel dengan 3 taraf perlakuan merupakan mainplot yaitu 0,5 ml.l-1 (E1), 1 ml.l-1 (E2), dan 1,5 ml.l-1 (E3). Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi urea dengan 4 taraf perlakuan merupakan subplot yaitu o g.l-1 (R0), 5 g.l-1 (R1), 10 g.l-1 (R2), dan 15 g.l-1 (R3). Jumlah tanaman berbunga pada perlakuan konsentrasi ethrel 1,5 ml.l-1 dan penambahan konsentrasi urea 10 g.l-1 menunjukkan hasil yang terbaik.

Abstract

Nanas (Ananas comosus L.) merupakan komoditas hortikultura yang sangat potensial di Indonesia. Dalam melakukan budidaya nanas salah satu hal yang penting yaitu proses pemupukan. Di Kabupaten Kediri, petani dalam proses pemupukan tanaman nanas menggunakan pupuk sipramin dalam mendukung pertumbuhan. Penggunaan pupuk sipramin menyebabkan penurunan pH tanah dan meningkatkan kandungan cd dalam tanah yang dapat menghambat pertumbuhan tanaman. Solusi dari permasalahan tersebut dilakukan pemupukan dengan pupuk jenis lain yaitu pupuk urea dan SP-36. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kombinasi dosis pupuk urea dan SP-36 yang tepat untuk pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman nanas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari-Mei 2020 di Desa Ngancar, Kecamatan Ngancar, Kabupaten Kediri, Jawa Timur Percobaan dilakukan menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi (Split Plot Design) dengan 2 faktor dan 3 ulangan. Dosis pupuk SP-36 sebesar 150 kg.ha-1 meningkatkan panjang tanaman hingga 15,7% dibandingkan perlakuan tanpa pupuk SP-36, namun untuk jumlah daun dan luas daun, pemberian pupuk SP-36 dengan dosis 75 kg.ha-1 sudah mampu meningkatkan jumlah daun hingga 9,3% dan luas daun 18,2% dari perlakuan tanpa pupuk SP-36. Dosis pupuk urea sebesar 300 kg. ha-1 meningkatkan panjang tanaman hingga 18,8% dan jumlah daun 23,8% dibandingkan dengan perlakuan pupuk urea sebesar 100 kg.ha-1, namun untuk luas daun tanaman, pemberian pupuk urea dengan dosis 200 kg.ha-1 sudah mampu meningkatkan luas daun tanaman hingga 22,6% dari perlakuan pupuk urea 100 kg.ha-1. Pemberian SP-36 dengan dosis 150 kg.ha-1 menurunkan kebutuhan urea hingga 200 kg.ha-1 tampak pada peubah berat kering total tanaman sebesar 188,72 g-1.tanaman-1 yang sama dengan perlakuan 75 dan 150 kg.ha-1 SP-36+300 kg.ha-1 Urea.

Abstract

Learning activities have not been carried out optimally. The learning media used is only fixed on one source of textbooks, so students have difficulty understanding the material. In addition, teachers only teach using the assignment and lecture methods. This study aims to develop learning media in the form of videos to assist students in learning. This type of research is development research with the model used is ADDIE. The methods used in collecting data are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The instrument used in collecting data is a questionnaire. The subject of this research is Civics learning video media on the topic of symbols and meanings of the Pancasila precepts, in this study the data analysis technique used in this development research was using qualitative descriptive statistical analysis techniques and quantitative descriptive statistics. The results of the research are the results of the expert test of the content of the subjects developed to get the results of 4.84 with very good qualifications, the learning design experts get the results of 4.22 with very good qualifications, the test results from the learning media experts get the results of 4.30 with the qualifications very good. The results of the practitioner test got a result of 4.58 with very good qualifications, the results of the limited trial got a result of 4.79 with very good qualifications. It can be concluded that the media developed is feasible to be applied in learning. The implication of this research is that the developed media can make it easier for students to understand Civics subject matter, especially the topic of symbols and meanings of the Pancasila precepts.

Abstract

Students' interest in participating in online learning was still low, so learning media is important to increase student interest in online learning. This study aimed to produce audio-visual learning media using the principle of dynamic drawing on 9 sub-theme one science content with the topic of energy and energy sources in grade IV elementary school was valid. This study was development research that was guided by the 4D model procedure. The subjects of this research trial consisted of one material expert, one design expert, and one media expert, three students for individual trials, and nine students for small group trials—the data collected in this study, namely qualitative data and quantitative data. Data were collected using a questionnaire method with the distribution of rating scale instruments. The data analysis method used in this research was to determine the percentage of each respondent. The validity of the science learning videos was determined from expert tests and product trials through learning material expert tests, learning design expert tests, teaching media experts, individual tests, and small group tests. The percentage was 93.6%, with a very good category. So the results showed that learning videos can be declared suitable for science learning for grade IV elementary schools and can explain concrete material.Students' interest in participating in online learning was still low, so learning media is important to increase student interest in online learning. This study aimed to produce audio-visual learning media using the principle of dynamic drawing on 9 sub-theme one science content with the topic of energy and energy sources in grade IV elementary school was valid. This study was development research that was guided by the 4D model procedure. The subjects of this research trial consisted of one material expert, one design expert, and one media expert, three students for individual trials, and nine students for small group trials—the data collected in this study, namely qualitative data and quantitative data. Data were collected using a questionnaire method with the distribution of rating scale instruments. The data analysis method used in this research was to determine the percentage of each respondent. The validity of the science learning videos was determined from expert tests and product trials through learning material expert tests, learning design expert tests, teaching media experts, individual tests, and small group tests. The percentage was 93.6%, with a very good category. So the results showed that learning videos can be declared suitable for science learning for grade IV elementary schools and can explain concrete material.

Abstract

Nowdays technology has developed very rapidly. Technological development that are currently being developed by many game developers and other applications, is Augmented Reality (AR). AR can be used as an alternative learning media, such as for the introduction of manual transmission components in cars. The study was aimed to develop a learning media application for the introduction of manual transmission components in cars and to test the feasibility of applications to support learning based on Markerless Augmented Reality. This application development method used SDLC or System Development Life Cycle software. The SDLC model that used in this study was the Waterfall model. SDLC consists of the planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. This reaction produced an AR application of Manual Car Transmission which contains material on the introduction of car manual transmission components. Testing applications included blackbox, media and material feasibility, and user response testing. The blackbox testing result got 100 %. The media feasibility analysis show that the assessment of media experts was 87,5 %, material expert 94,4 %, and user response was 85,47 %. From that the AR learning media application manual transmission of cars is categorized as “feasible” to be used as learning media applications.

Abstract

A part from being famous for its tourism sector, Bali also has a special attraction in its agricultural sector, namely the subak system which has become a world cultural heritage. The sustainability of the Subak must be maintained, one of effort to create it is by maintaining the sustainability of land availability for food production through increasing the rice yields by using superior rice varieties that have the potential to increase farmers' income. Therefore, this study aims to examine the agronomic performance and yield of various superior rice varieties produced by Balitbangtan in the Bali Province. The study was carried out in the area of Bali Province namely Denpasar, Badung, Bangli, Buleleng, Gianyar, Karangasem and Jembrana in 2019 using Randomized Block Design consisting of various superior rice varieties treatments produced by Balitbangtan and cultivated by implementation the Integrated Crop Management technology on 0,5 ha land area in each area namely Towuti, Inpari-16, Inpari-20, Inpari-28, Inpari-43, Inpari-22, Inpari-32, Inpari-33 and the Cigeulis variety as a comparison and repeated five times. The results showed that all the superior rice varieties examined had great adaptability, growth and development were relatively as same as the Cigeulis variety. In addition, all superior rice varieties produced significantly greater yields than the Cigeulis variety therefore it could be considered as substitute for the use of the Cigeulis variety in Bali, especially the Inpari-28 variety which reached 8.24 t/ha, ± 3 t/ha higher than the Cigeulis variety.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the profile of the career selection ability of students in the science department of SMA Negeri 7 Bekasi before and after group guidance services were carried out with group exercise techniques and the effect of group guidance with group exercise techniques on the career selection abilities of students in science majors at SMAN 7 Bekasi City. The research method used is an experimental design with a nonequivalent (pretest-posttest) control group design. The population is 180 students and the sample is 40 students taken by random sampling. The data collection technique is a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is the Independent Samples Test. The results showed that there was a significant effect of providing group guidance with group exercise techniques on the career selection skills of students majoring in science at SMAN 7 Bekasi City.Keywords: group guidance; group exercise techniques; career selection skillsTujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan profil kemampuan pemilihan karier siswa Jurusan IPA SMA Negeri 7 Bekasi sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik group exercise dan pengaruh bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik group exercise terhadap kemampuan pemilihan karier siswa jurusan IPA SMAN 7 Kota Bekasi.
