Abstract

In the face of increasingly fierce competition in the cassava chip industry, strengthening competitiveness is crucial for business sustainability and growth, especially in the local market. One effective approach to improving competitiveness is to conduct a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis. This analysis provides a clear picture of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by cassava chip producers in the local market. This study aims to determine the marketing strategies for Rizky Jaya Sempurna MSME home industry cassava chips in the local market using the SWOT analysis method with four basic components, namely Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats, with a sample of 24 respondents. The results of the study show that the IFAS and EFAS score recapitulation obtained from the IFAS matrix indicates strength and weakness factors from the 0.474 quadrant. This indicates that the cassava chip business of the Rizky Jaya Sempurna MSME is in a strong internal position. Meanwhile, the EFAS matrix shows that the opportunity and threat factors indicate a quadrant of 0.312. This indicates that the cassava chip product of Rizky Jaya Sempurna MSME is in a favorable situation, with the company gaining various opportunities from outside and strength from within.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether the trade balances of each ASEAN 6 member country, in both intra- and global trade, can reach a steady state and converge among countries within the region. ASEAN 6 consists of ASEAN member countries with relatively large and developed economies. The data used is secondary panel data sourced from UNCTAD, ASYB, and BI. The analytical model will be selected by selecting the most appropriate method from the Common Fixed Effects Model (FEM) and the Random Effects Model (REM). The results showed that each ASEAN 6-member country reached a steady state in its trade balance, but at a different steady state for each member. This indicates that there is no convergent pattern in trade balances among the ASEAN 6 member countries. Even the disparity in the trade balance between these countries, both in intra- and global trade, shows divergent patterns among member countries within the region.

Abstract

Sustainable rural tourism has become an important strategy for promoting local economic development while preserving environmental and socio-cultural resources. This study aims to identify strategic sustainable tourism development in Indonesia through a case analysis of four tourist villages: Penglipuran (Bali), Nglanggeran (Yogyakarta), Setanggor (West Nusa Tenggara), and Belitar Seberang (Bengkulu), which represent diverse rural tourism contexts. Using a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) framework, the study analyzes internal and external factors influencing tourism development. Primary data were obtained through in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, including village tourism managers, local government authorities, and local community members. The results indicate that the villages are positioned in the First Quadrant, reflecting strong internal resources and favorable external opportunities for sustainable growth. Nevertheless, several internal limitations and external risks persist, particularly in institutional capacity and long-term management. This study contributes empirically by integrating sustainability dimensions into SWOT-based strategic planning across diverse tourism village contexts and provides practical guidance for policymakers and local stakeholders in developing collaborative and resilient rural tourism strategies in Indonesia.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat jiwa kewirausahaan kreatif dan inovatif pada anggota Komunitas Muda Berdaya Kota Bengkulu. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra meliputi rendahnya pemahaman mengenai konsep kewirausahaan, terbatasnya kemampuan dalam mengidentifikasi peluang usaha berbasis potensi lokal, serta kurang optimalnya pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam pengembangan dan pemasaran usaha. Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada rendahnya daya saing dan kemandirian ekonomi generasi muda di era modern. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui pendekatan partisipatif yang meliputi tahap persiapan, pelatihan, pendampingan, serta evaluasi. Kegiatan pelatihan difokuskan pada penguatan mindset kewirausahaan, pengembangan kreativitas dan inovasi usaha, identifikasi peluang bisnis, serta pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk pemasaran. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pendampingan dalam penyusunan ide usaha dan model bisnis sederhana yang disesuaikan dengan potensi peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam bidang kewirausahaan, kemampuan mengembangkan ide usaha kreatif, serta peningkatan motivasi untuk berwirausaha secara mandiri. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam menciptakan generasi muda yang produktif, inovatif, dan berdaya saing dalam menghadapi tantangan ekonomi di era modern.

Abstract

Advances in information and communication technology have driven innovation in the financial sector, such as financial technology (fintech), particularly digital payment services or e-wallets. In Indonesia, the use of e-wallets has grown rapidly, with GoPay and OVO as the two most dominant platforms. E-wallets facilitate various transactions for the public, such as online shopping, bill payments, and money transfers. Based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory, interest in using e-wallets is influenced by users' perceptions of convenience and benefits.  The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of perceived benefits and ease of use on interest in using GoPay as a digital payment service in Bengkulu City. The method used in this study is quantitative, and the sample consists of GoPay users in Bengkulu City, with a sample size of 130 respondents.The results of this study indicate that the variables of perceived benefits and ease of use have a significant effect on the interest in using GoPay as a digital payment service in Bengkulu City, both partially and simultaneously.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of leadership style and teamwork on the performance of members of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Bengkulu Police. The sample in this study was 36 members of the Bengkulu Selatan Police Criminal Investigation Unit. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis are the equation: Y = 11.579 + 0.404 X1 + 0.338 X2 + e, this illustrates a positive regression direction, meaning that the variables Leadership Style (X1) and Teamwork (X2) have a positive influence on Employee Performance (Y) in the Bengkulu Selatan Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Bengkulu Selatan. The magnitude of the coefficient of determination from the calculation results using SPSS can be seen from the coefficient of determination of R square of 0.690. This means that the value of Leadership style (X1) and teamwork value (X2) affect member performance (Y) by 69% while the remaining 31% is influenced by other variables not examined in the study. The results of the t test at a significance level of 0.05 explain that partially Leadership style and teamwork have a significant influence on member performance in the police members of the South Bengkulu Regency Criminal Investigation Unit. T count in the study that the variables of leadership style and teamwork are 3.333 and 3.208 which means more than t table which is 2.029.

Abstract

This study discusses the comparison of workload between partner employees of PT. Telkom Bengkulu, namely Trans Dana Profitri (Squad DEFA) and Mitratel (Squad BRAVO). Workload is understood as both physical and mental demands that must be balanced with employee capacity to maintain optimal performance. The differences in responsibilities between the two partners result in variations in workload levels, where supervisors and administrative staff often experience workloads above the standard, while technicians remain relatively within the standard. The research method used was descriptive quantitative, with data collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The sample consisted of 36 respondents, comprising 24 employees from Mitratel and 12 employees from Trans Dana Profitri. The data were analyzed using data adequacy test, data uniformity test, Independent Sample t-Test, F-test, coefficient of determination (R²), and effective workload calculations based on standard working hours according to the Regulation of the Minister of Finance No. 175/PMK.01/2016. The results showed that the workload for supervisory and administrative positions reached 180%, which ideally should be handled by two employees but in practice is only performed by one person. Meanwhile, the workload of technicians was 110%, which is still within the acceptable standard. Overall, Trans Dana Profitri employees bear a heavier workload compared to Mitratel employees, as they are directly responsible for managing digital energy devices and network maintenance, which could cause widespread service disruptions (GAMAS) if not addressed. These findings emphasize the importance of redistributing workload and adding employees in overloaded positions to ensure efficiency and service quality at PT. Telkom Bengkulu.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether cultural, social, personal, and psychological factors influence service user decision-making in choosing LPK Hikari Kenshu Senta Bantul. This research method used quantitative methods, with surveys and questionnaires. The results of the regression analysis show Y ̂ = -7.378 + 0.381 X1 + 0.381 X2 + 0.279 X3 + 0.275 X4 + 4.221. This means that there is a positive influence between cultural factors (X1), social factors (X2), personal factors (X3), and psychological factors (X4) on service user decisions (Y). The value of the coefficient of determination is 0.840. This means that the contribution of cultural factors, social factors, personal factors and psychological factors in influencing service user decision making is 84%, while 16% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The results of the t-test at a significance level of 0.05 explain that partially the variables of cultural factors, social factors, personal factors and psychological factors have a significant influence on the variable of service user decision making to attend training at LPK Hikari Kenshu Senta Bantul. The results of the F test at a significance level of 0.05 explain that the variables of cultural factors, social factors, personal factors and psychological factors have a significant influence on the decision-making variables of service users to take training at the LPK Hikari Kenshu Senta Bantul.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Trust, Promotion, Cost, and Facility Conditions on the Decision to Use QRIS in Bengkulu City, both partially and simultaneously. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving a sample of 100 QRIS users in Bengkulu City selected through purposive sampling. Primary data were collected using an online questionnaire and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with SmartPLS 4 software. The results show that TAM, Cost, and Facility Conditions partially have a positive and significant effect on the Decision to Use QRIS. Conversely, Trust and Promotion were found to have no significant effect partially. Simultaneously, the five independent variables of TAM, Trust, Promotion, Cost, and Facility Conditions were proven to have a significant effect on the Decision to Use QRIS, with R2 value of 0.583, which means that these variables were able to explain 58.3% of the variation in the Decision to Use QRIS.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the culinary sector play an important role in promoting economic growth in Bengkulu Selatan Regency by improving community welfare and creating job opportunities. However, not all culinary MSMEs are able to survive in an increasingly competitive market. This study aims to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial characteristics and creativity on the success of culinary MSMEs, both partially and simultaneously. The population of this study consisted of 462 culinary business actors, with data collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression, validity and reliability tests, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination.  The regression equation obtained is Y  = 50,600 – 0,766X1 + 0,783X2 + 2.945, showing that the entrepreneurial characteristic variable (X₁) has a negative and significant effect on business success with a significance value 0.000, while the creativity variable (X₂) has a positive and significant effect with a significance value 0.000. These findings indicate that creativity has a more dominant influence in improving the success of culinary MSMEs in Bengkulu Selatan Regency.
