Abstract

Eventhough Indonesia and Malaysia are included in a group of Malay tribe, both countries are often faced with conflicts such as border, Indonesian workers in Malaysia, and cultural heritage claims. The conflicts between Indonesia and Malaysia can be found in the blog written by Indonesian and Malaysian bloggers. This paper aims to analyze the use of language and its meaning in the blogs”. The analysis by using discourse analysis shows that the war of language happen between Indonesian and Malaysian to respond the conflicts. The both sides have used a rough language to ridicule and to underestimate each other. The kinds of language used in the blogs are refusal, ridiculous, comparative, and metaphor. The findings of the research conclude that the blogs have been used freely to convey the feeling of hatred and battle by Indonesian and Malaysian bloggers.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of the overall and part learning methods and the eye-to-foot coordination towards leap skills on long jumps of senior high school students. This research is conducted on students of SMA Negeri 2 Sinjai. In this study, the researcher uses a treatment by the level of 2 x 2. The sample consists of 40 students that divided into four groups, each of them consists of 10 students. The technique of analysis uses two-way variance (ANOVA) and then it is continued with Turkey test at significance level α = 0,5. The results of this study indicate that (1) the overall learning method has a better effect than the part learning method towards long jump skills. (2) there is an interaction result between the overall and part learning method and the eye-foot coordination towards the result of long jump skills. (3) the overall learning method has a better effect than the part learning method that has high coordination. (4) the overall learning method has a better effect than the part learning methods that has low eye-foot coordination

Abstract

The aim of study is to analyse the effect of operational cost on profitability (return on assets) and cash flow effect on profitability (return on assets). This type of research is descriptive, the research variables consists of of operational cost (X1), cash flow (X2), and profitability (Y). The data used in this study is the financial statements of the year 2009 – 2013, while the data analysis used weredescriptive quantitative data in such as regression analysis of multiple.Based on this research progress of operational cost and cash flows affecting the profitability of UD Sari Bumi, based on simple linier regression analysis obtainedY = 132,35 – 0,23X1 - 0,16X2, the coefficient of the independent variable X1 (Operational Costs) amounted to -0.23 and independent variables X2 (Cash Flow) that is equal to -0.16.Of the calculation results of hypothesis test (t test) showed influential significantly toprofitability UD Sari Bumi Probolinggo" . Abstract

The results of observations on April 15, 2019, at SMP Negeri 1 Peureulak, East Aceh District, and the 2017/2018 National Examinations showed that students experienced difficulties in geometry, so there was a need for teaching materials in the form of LAS (Student Activity Sheets). This development aims to determine that teaching materials in the form of LAS based on Acehnese local wisdom are valid, practical, and effective, and also determine student learning outcomes. This research is a development research using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subject of the trial in this study was grade VII-1 students of SMP Negeri 1 Peureulak, East Aceh District. Questionnaires, observations, interviews, and tests are used as data collection techniques and instruments in this research. The data analysis in this study is descriptive analysis using the preparation/development of the LAS product variable and the resulting LAS quality variable. As for student learning outcomes in using LAS can be seen from the results of the LAS analysis, which includes student learning outcomes as one of the effectiveness aspect of LAS and test data on learning outcomes. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the teaching materials in the form of LAS based on Acehnese local wisdom in mathematics learning especially geometry material in Junior High Schools are categorized as valid, practical, and effective. Student learning outcomes using the LAS have a mastery score with a score of 86.43.

Abstract

The main objective in this study is to examine and analyze how the influence ofhuman resource development consisting of, recruitment , training, career development,compensation, promotion of position on company performance.This research was conducted with a qualitative method and using the SWOT analysisas a data analysis tool. The object of this research is PT. Pribumi Citra Megah Utama, whichruns its businesses such as hotels, shopping centers, housing, financing and mining in SouthKalimantan. Data that has been tested for its credibility with the triangulation technique ofdata sources, is then analyzed descriptively using the help of a data analysis modeldeveloped by Miles and Huberman. Miles and Huberman made a model of data analysisconsisting of three stages, namely: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.Based on the results of research it can be found that the human resource managementstrategy plan to increase the productivity of employees of PT. Pribumi Citra Megah Utamais a business partner model strategy because this strategy has several advantages, namely theexistence of several strengths in the company that can be used to take advantage of severalopportunities and face several threats to the company. The methods carried out by PT.Pribumi Citra Megah Utama is to Reinforce and tighten company regulations which includeworking hours, employee responsibilities, work completion, accuracy of work completion.

Abstract

MBS merupakan salah satu alternatif dalam pengelolaan pendidikan yang lebih menekankan kepada kemandirian dan kreativitas sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: 1) MBS dalam bidang kurikulum, 2) MBS dalam bidang kesiswaan, 3) MBS dalam bidang sarana dan prasarana, dan 4) MBS dalam bidang keuangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru, kepala sekolah, pengawas, dan komite. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) MBS bidang kurikulum diawali dengan pembagian tugas mengajar pada setiap awal tahun ajaran, koordinasi penyusunan persiapan mengajar, jadwal pelajaran, program pembelajaran, pengisian daftar kemajuan murid, penyelenggaraan evaluasi hasil belajar, laporan hasil evaluasi, dan kegiatan bimbingan dan penyuluhan. 2) Dalam bidang kesiswaan, penerimaan siswa baru disesuaikan dengan daya tampung sekolah. Dalam pengelolaan siswa di kelas, kepala sekolah menyusun daftar absensi untuk mengetahui frekuensi kehadiran siswa dan mengontrol kerajinan belajar siswa. 3) Dalam bidang sarana dan prasarana, kepala sekolah melakukan analisis kebutuhan bersama personel sekolah dan menyusunnya dalam program sekolah. 4) Dalam bidang keuangan, pertanggungjawaban kepala sekolah tidak melibatkan lagi seluruh personel sekolah sehingga tidak terjalinnya sikap transparansi antara kepala sekolah dengan personel sekolah.

Abstract

To determine the effect of emotional intelligence and learning independence on mathematics learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative approach, with a correlational design of ex-post facto research type. Sampling in this study was done by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires and documentation of learning outcomes. The questionnaire used in this study was divided into two, namely the emotional intelligence questionnaire and the learning independence questionnaire. Even semester exam results will be used as data on mathematics learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used the F-test. The results of the research data analysis showed that emotional intelligence had an effect on student learning outcomes by 12.2%. Independent learning of students also affects the learning outcomes of mathematics by 10.5%. This shows that emotional intelligence and learning independence have a low relationship with learning outcomes

Abstract

Javanese ethnicity is the most ethnic group in Medan City, so politically the opportunity to occupy political positions such as the Regional Head is very large, but until the 2019 elections the Mayor of Medan was never held by the Javanese ethnic group. This study aims to determine and analyze the motives underlying Communication Behavior in Political Life / Political Choice of ethnic Javanese Muslims in Medan. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data obtained through interviews and direct observation. The results of the study mentioned that there are 4 motives underlying the behavior of communication in the political life of ethnic Javanese Muslims in Medan, specifically related to political choices, namely religious, economic, competence, and commitment to commitment.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to determine the direct and indirect effect of the variables of business experience and venture capital on the partnership and performance of SMEs. This type of research includes causal research. As for the population in the study, namely the SMEs fostered at PTPN III Nusantara, which amounted to 98 SME business actors. Where these 98 SMEs are all engaged in trading businesses. The sampling technique used was a saturated canoe. So that the sample in this study is 98 SME business actors. The data was collected using a questionnaire that was compiled based on each variable indicator item. The data analysis technique used Structural Equation Modeling with Smart PLS. The results of the study indicate that business capital directly has a significant direct effect on the partnership, while business experience is not significant. Furthermore, direct business experience, venture capital, and partnerships have a significant direct influence on the performance of SMEs. Lastly, only business capital indirectly has a significant influence on the performance of SMEs through partnerships, while business experience does not have an indirect effect.

Abstract

This paper aims to answer the question: what is the concept of enlightenment according to the Buddhist wheel of life, also known as Bhavacakra. The very aim of Buddhism is to attain Nirvana, not a temporary rebirth in happy realms such as heaven or gods. There are few ways to understand enlightenment (bodhi) and several levels according to either Pali scripture. The Sanskrit scripture represents by the Tibetan and Chinese scripture also given a various range of interpretation. In order to have a broader view then it will be logical to look at those sources. Buddhists aim to attain the highest happiness that is Nirvana. Buddha himself and many teachers have laid down so many methods for us. Our ancestor teachers such as Nagarjuna, Aryadeva, and Buddhaghosa also gave many significant commentaries on this matter, especially those recorded in the Buddhist Wheel of life, teaching the twelve interdependent links.
