Abstract

Penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit akibat infeksi virus dengue yang masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat Indonesia. Penyakit ini menyerang semua kelompok umur, namun sebagian besar berusia di bawah 15 tahun. Siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) merupakan kelompok rentan yang kepeduliannya sangat diperlukan guna menjaga kesehatan bagi masyarakat sekolah. Sehingga, membutuhkan pengetahuan dan sikap yang baik terhadap upaya Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk (PSN). Peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap siswa dapat dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan pencegahan DBD terhadap tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap siswa di SDN Wirogunan I. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian eksperimen yang dilengkapi dengan pendekatan metode kuantitatif. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu rancangan pra eksperimen dengan bentuk one group pretest and posttest design. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 57 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan metode sampling jenuh. Uji statistik menggunakan uji t-test dengan wilcoxon signed ranks test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh pelatihan pencegahan DBD terhadap tingkat pengetahuan (p = 0,000) dan sikap siswa (p = 0,000) di SDN Wirogunan I.

Abstract

AbstractThe Purpose of this study is to help resolve CO2 Liquid Tank Construction Project by PT ABC. And, Where is happening today is the delay and uncertainty of project completion time, which does not correspond with the actual schedule that requires completion of a model project. The model used is the optimization using PERT method, PERT goal is to important results. With 253 remaining day of total remaining activity the project will be completed on time with provisions must add 7 hours with the addition of Rp 2.738.490.038,- costs and increase of the number of workers as many as 42 people by adding a fee of Rp 784.896.000,- .and using efficiency measurements to measure the percentage of efficiency resulting in acceleration of time & cost, using 3 models, namely the model of addition of working hours 6, 7 & 8 working hours and the most optimal model has been determined is to use 7 additional hours of works with a percentage of time acceleration which is 37.87% and percentage on acceleration costs are 31.06% when compared to the acceleration in the model 6 the time needed to complete the project is not in accordance with the set target time, and when compared to the 8 hours model, the acceleration cost exceeds the predetermined cost limit, if the company want to complete the project as quickly as possible and with a more efficient cost, the company must accelerate using 7 working hours.AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu menyelesaikan Proyek Konstruksi Tangki Cairan CO2 oleh PT ABC yang terjadi hari ini adalah penundaan dan ketidakpastian waktu penyelesaian proyek, yang tidak sesuai dengan jadwal aktual yang membutuhkan penyelesaian proyek model.Model yang digunakan adalah optimasi menggunakan metode PERT. Tujuan PERT adalah untuk hasil penting dengan 235 Hari yang tersisa dari total aktivitas yang tersisa Proyek ini akan selesai tepat waktu dengan ketentuan harus menambahkan 7 Jam kerja dengan penambahan biaya Rp 2.738.490.038 dan menambah jumlah pekerja sebanyak 42 orang dengan menambahkan biaya sebesar Rp 784.896.000,- dan menggunakan pengukuran efisiensi untuk mengukur persentase efisiensi yang dihasilkan pada percepatan waktu & biaya, menggunakan 3 model yaitu penambahan jam kerja 6, 7 & 8 jam kerja dan telah ditentukan model yang paling optimal adalah menggunakan penambahan 7 Jam kerja dengan persentase pencapain waktu yaitu 37.87% dan persentase pada biaya percepatan adalah 31.06% jika dibandingkan dengan percpatan pada model 6 jam waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menyelesaikan proyek tidak sesuai dengan percepatan waktu yang ditargetkan, dan jika dibandingkan dengan model 8 Jam maka biaya percepatan melebihi batas biaya yang sudah ditentukan, jika perusahaan ingin menyelesaikan proyek dengan secepat mungkin dan dengan biaya yang lebih efisien maka perusahaan harus melakukan percepatan menggunakan 7 jam kerja

Abstract

This article is based on a research at first conducted toidentify thejob and job holder profiles in the intermediate­levelmodem machinery industry in order that the findingscould be used as materials for recommendations in developingvocational school management. However, after the researchwas conducted for one year, it turned out that not onlythose profiles but also a comparison between the developmentof vocational school (VC) graduates' competence at work andthatofsenior high school (SHS) graduates', a relation betweenindustry and school, and a competence-based evaluation systemon technicians' performance were esta-blished.The research was conducted by using a qualitative method.Atthe beginning IPTN was chosen as the industrialcomponentj,utunder study. Afterwards, the findings were validated with thoseidentified at eight other industrial components, namely, the in.dustrial companies PT Pindad, PT BharataBandung, PT BharataSurabaya, PT BBI Surahaya, PT PAL Surabaya, PT PindadMalang, PT Bharata Jakarta, and PT Tractor JakartaThe findings indicate that the job profiles in themodemmachinery industry using the CNC milling machine show sevenlevelsof difficulty. What is primarily demanded of themachine operator isan ability to give the machine instructionstodo a job. After receiving the same apprentice educationfor two years, thereis almost no difference in academicachievement and levelof failure on the job between the twogroupsofgraduates. However, in terms ofthe quantity ofreworkdone, theVC graduates are better than the SHS graduates.The rework done by theVC graduates has amounted to 27.8%while that done by theSHS graduates has amounted to 40.7%.Further, in termsof their awareness of the value of workand work ethos, theVC graduates are better than the SHSgraduates becausefor the former working at such a job has beentheir intention since their entrance into vocational school whilefor the latter working together with the VC graduates hasbeen only a resultof their inability to enter a university tocontinue their education after graduating from SHS. Afterworking togetherfor three years, the two groups' competenceat workis no longer colored by their educational background(VC or SHS) but by individual self-potential and managerialintervention. Thereis a relation between industrial and VScomponents, i.e., between the job profile and school curriculum,job holder profile and graduates' competence, industrialmachinery profileand VS practice equipment, and job holderevaluation system andVS practice evaluation. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims at revealing the impact of the implimentation of ISO 9001:2000 towards the academic service quality (the service quality of lecturers, staffs, technicians, and department orginizer) and the graduates’ quality (GPA and period of study). This evaluation was conducted by using descriptive research method and document analysis to reveal the fact of academic service beforeand after the implementation of ISO 9001:2000. The sample technique was using cluster sampling technique as PTM and PTTB departments were chosen. The target sample was 83 students in the seventh semestser and the dacuments in ISO secretariat from those two deperatments. Data collection techniques were using questionnaire and documentation (syallabus and lesson plan, yusisum data, learning evaluation, attandence list and assessement document). Data analysis method was using quatitive descriptive analysis. The findings showed the mean scores of acedemic sevice quality in PTBB Department had been fulfilling the expectation (3,12) while for PTM can be categorized as moderate level (2.97). The lowest score was found in the area of academic administration service, i.e. 3,02 for PTBB and 2,83 for PTM. Furthermore, it was found that The quality of PTBB graduates improved 0,02 and the period of study for (S1/ Bachelor degree) fluctuated in 5,16 while the GPA of PTM was not stable yet but the students had shorter period of study. By seeing the findings, it can concluded that the implementation of ISO 9001-2000 was able to improve the administration service of academic but it did not guarantee to create qualified acadmic service to support the fulfilment of high GPA and short period of study.Keywords: graduates’ quality, SMM-ISO 9001-2000, quality of academic service

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this research is "Is there any influence of media use dakon number to learning result of FPB and KPK of fourth grade student of State Elementary School 34 Pontianak Kota?". The research method used in this research is the experimental method with quasi experimental design (Quasi Experimental Design), with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design experiment design. The sample selection was done by simple random sampling technique. Data collection tool in the form of observation sheet, document of learning result, and test result of student learning in the form of essay matter with 10 question. Based on the statistical calculation of the average learning result of the final test of the experimental class 79,20 and the mean of final test result of control class 67,68 obtained the final test data counted 2,549 and ttable (α= 5% and dk 32 + 33 -2 = 64) of 1.670133, because tcount (2.549)> ttable (1.670133), then Ha is accepted. So, it can be concluded that there is influence of media use dakon number to learning outcomes of FPB and KPK grade IV students of State Elementary School 34 Pontianak City. From the calculation of effect size (ES), obtained ES of 0.583 (medium criterion). This means the use of media dakon number on learning FPB and KPK gives a moderate effect on student learning outcomes in grade IV State Elementary School 34 Pontianak City. Keywords: Influence, Media Dakon Numbers, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

AbstractThis researchaim to determine the effect of the role playing method on the social science learning outcomes of social science students in class III of the East Pontianak 04 State Elementary School.The method used wasan experimental design and nonequevalent control group design research design. The population was all students from two classes totaling 54 people, the sample of this study was the III A class students, amounting to 26 people as the experimental class and the class III B students as the contro class, amounting to 28 people. The data collection technique used was a measurement technique and a data collection tool was a multiple choice written test. Based on data analysis, the results of the experimental class post-test 80,04 avarage and the post-test control average of 74,07. Hypothesis test results using t-test (Polled Variance) obtained t count = 2,993 while for dk (28+26-2 = 52) with a significant level ? = 5% obtained ttable = 1,676, which means tcount> t table, then Ha was accepted, this prove that there was the influence of the application of the role playing method in learning Social Sciences. Based on the results of the calculation of the effect size (ES) obtained ES = 0,57 which is included in the criteria of being, namely 0,57 <0,8. Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed was to analyze the influence of Index Card Match model to the Social studies learning output in grade V of State Elementary School 38 North Pontianak. The research method was an experiment, form of Quasi Experimental's non-equivalent group design. The research population of all grade V students of Public Elementary School 38 North Pontianak were counted to 43 students. The withdrawal sample( sampel jenuh ) technique used saturation sampling. The technique used was direct observation and measuring. The data collecting instrument was observation and multiplechoice paper. The data result was the average score of class control post-test was 58,91 and the experiment was 64,75. Based on the counting result t-test was 2,12 > t-table  2,02 then Ha is accepted. It shows that there is a difference in students learning output of class control and class experiment. The value of effect size was 0,795 with middle criteria. The conclusion of this research was the influence of Index Card Match model the learning output of social studies class V of Public Elementary school 38 North Pontianak on average. Keywords: Index Card Match model, Learning output, Social Studies Learning

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to describe the improvement of students ability of mathematic lessonby using cooperative learning type STAD on the fifth grade students at SDN 21 Pontianak Timur.The method used in this research is descriptive method, kind of this research is classroom action research and the nature of the research is collaborative. The research subject included teacher and 28 students of VB class. The data collecting technique were direct observation and measurement. The tols used were observation sheets and test. The findins of the research show an increase in the average score for teacher’s ability to compose lesson plans from 3,19 in cycle I to be 3,72 in cycle II. The ability of teachers to implement cooperative learning type STAD with an average score from 3,33 in cycle 1 to 3,78 in cycle II. Moreover, the average score of students’ learning outcomes had an improvement from 65,62 in cycle I to 83,57 in cycle II. The findings indicated that the teacher’s ability to compose lesson plans and to conduct teaching, as well as the student’s learning outcomes of mathematics by using cooperative learning type STAD in the fifth grade students SDN 21 Pontianak Timur could be improved. Keywords: Cooperative Learning Type STAD, Learning Outcomes, Mathematic

Abstract

AbstractThe problem of this research is "Whether the application of Know-Won to Know-Learned method can improve students' reading comprehension skills in VA West Pontianak primary school class. This study aims to describe the improvement of reading comprehension skills of students by using the method of Know-Want to Know-Learned through the story in the VA class of Elementary School Negeri 21 Pontianak Barat. The research method used is descriptive method, while the form of research used is a classroom action research with the nature of collaborative research. Subjects in the study were as many as 33 students in the VA class. Data collecting technique used in this research is direct observation technique and documentation. Data collection tool used in the form of observation sheet. The results showed that students' reading comprehension skill in cycle I was seen from 33 students with an average score of 46.48, with the completeness of 9,10% (3 people) while the unfinished 90,90% (30 people). While the second cycle has an increase of 33 students with an average value of 67.93, with the completeness of 66.67% (22 people) while the unfinished 33.33% (11 people). Then on the third cycle again increased visible from 33 students with an average value of 74.69 with a mastery of 81.81% (27 people) while the unfinished 18.19% (6 people). It can be concluded that using Know-Want to Know-Learned method can improve reading comprehension skill of students in class VA SD Negeri 21 Pontianak Barat. Keywords: Improvement, Reading Understanding, Know-Want to Know-Learned Method

This study aims to determine the effect of using make a match type on the aqcuistion of civic educations learning in public primary school 55 western Pontianak. The research method used is experimental method. The from of research used is quasi experimental design, by experimental design nonequivalent control group design. Population in this research is all students of class IV of state primary school 55 Western Pontianak that is amounted to 63 learners. The sample in this study were students of class IV A which amounted to  32 people and students of class IV B which amounted to 31 people. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques. And the data collection tool used is an objective test of 40 questions. Based on hypothesis test result two path anava obtained Fcount  amount 9,454 and Ftable (? 5 %) amount 3,99. Which mean Fcount (9,454) > Ftable (3,99), then Ha be accepted. So it can be concluded that there is influence the use of make a match type to the acquistions of learning citizenship education in elementary school in western Pontianak. From result of means the type of make a match gives a moderate effect.
