Abstract

As cyber threats and the misuse of personal data continue to increase, private browsing modes in web browsers such as Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are often perceived as solutions to enhance user privacy. However, these modes still leave traces of sensitive data in volatile memory (RAM), even though artifacts stored on disk-based storage are removed. This study evaluates the effectiveness of private browsing modes using the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) framework integrated with Artificial Intelligence (AI) for forensic analysis. Simulation scenarios were conducted to assess the ability of private browsing modes to prevent data retention. The results indicate that although private browsing modes successfully eliminate disk-based traces, sensitive data such as account credentials can still be extracted from RAM. The integration of AI accelerates the detection of these artifacts. This research contributes to the field of digital forensics by providing a systematic framework for evaluating browser privacy mechanisms and offering insights for the development of real-time browser security tools.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of digital technology in ship agency operations at PT. Seroja Jaya Agensi, Palembang Branch, to improve operational efficiency in the digital transformation era. A qualitative method was employed through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Findings reveal that digital systems such as INAPORTNET, INSW, PHINISI, and SINKARKES enhance service speed, document accuracy, and human resource utilization. Challenges include infrastructure limitations, data entry errors, and cybersecurity threats. The study highlights the need for employee training and robust information security policies. It concludes that digitalization positively impacts company performance and supports the sustainability of the maritime sector. A collaborative and strategic approach to digital adoption is essential to address the evolving demands of the maritime industry.

Abstract

Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are disorders of the muscular and skeletal systems commonly experienced by workers due to unergonomic work postures, repetitive movements, long work durations, and unsupportive physical work environments. Batik artisans are among the workers at risk of developing MSDs because batik-making activities are static, repetitive, and performed over long periods. This study aims to determine the influence of ergonomic and physical work environment factors on musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) among batik artisans in Danau Teluk District. This study used a quantitative method with an observational analytical cross-sectional design. The study was conducted among batik artisans in Danau Teluk District, Jambi City, with a sample of 40 respondents using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through interviews, observations, temperature and lighting measurements, and assessment of work posture using the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) method and MSD complaints using the Nordic Body Map (NBM). Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test and logistic regression at a 95% confidence interval. The study showed that 17 respondents (42.5%) experienced high-grade MSDs. There was a relationship between work posture (p-value = 0.001), work duration (p-value = 0.000), repetitive motion (p-value = 0.000), and lighting (p-value = 0.000) and the incidence of MSDs. Meanwhile, temperature had no relationship with the incidence of MSDs (p-value = 0.131). The results of the multivariate analysis showed that work posture was the most influential factor on the incidence of MSDs with a p-value = 0.006 and Exp(B) = 64.000. Ergonomic and physical work environment factors influence the incidence of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) among batik artisans in Danau Teluk District. Work posture is the dominant factor influencing the incidence of MSDs in batik artisans.

Abstract

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is a public health problem with a continuously increasing prevalence, and it is higher in women than in men. This study aimed to analyze the risk factors for T2DM in women aged ≥15 years in Indonesia based on data from the 2023 Indonesian Health Survey. This study was a secondary data analysis with a cross-sectional design involving 346,760 women who met the inclusion criteria. Univariate and bivariate analyses were performed using the Chi-Square test with calculation of the Prevalence Odds Ratio (POR) at a 95% confidence level. The results showed the prevalence of T2DM was 1.3%. Factors significantly associated included age ≥40 years (POR=22.4), low education level (POR=1.34), unemployed status (POR=1.18), urban residence (POR=1.91), mild physical activity (POR=1.15), obesity (POR=1.27), and overweight (POR=1.27). Protective factors included vigorous physical activity (POR=0.77) and underweight BMI (POR=0.65), while marital status was not significantly associated (p=0.135). T2DM in women is a multifactorial disease influenced by the interaction of biological, social, behavioral, and environmental factors, thus requiring risk-based promotive and preventive interventions.
